Honest, trust worthy, knowledgable, expert, down to earth, and an excellent mechanic. I've had a few technicians over the years, most of them good. Charlie is the best of them. I had a choice of getting another car ( dislike the thought of high payments long term ), or get some things up to date with my 2000 Subaru Outback. I made the correct choice in taking this car to Charlie, with more work to come. The best and highest recommendation!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

Charlie did a great job fixing my air conditioning . He communicates with his customers and gives accurate quotes for work. Always shows customers any parts he replaces. Honest and reliable. I highly recommend C.A.R.S.

I would not take my car to anyone other than Charlie. Taking your car to C.A.R.S. is just one of those things you don t have to even think about. You know you are going to get the job done right the first time by a competent mechanic, using the right parts, at a fair price. Charlie is someone who cares and takes the time to do the job right. My daughter referred us to C.A.R.S since she felt we were being overcharged with our previous mechanic. We made an appointment and met with Charley. We appreciated his transparency and felt he would treat us fairly. We also appreciate the fact he use OEM parts.

I was referred to this shop by a neighbor who has been coming to this mechanic for years. I primarily bike commute so don't drive much but when I realized an oil leak developed knee I needed to get it looked at by someone who would be thorough and honest. Oil leaks are one of those things that can either be super expensive and complex problems, or quick and easy fixes. When I called, I got a quote for diagnosis that was completely reasonable, with any repair cost going being factored in, so I wouldn't get a bill for diagnosis and repair if it was over that amount. When I brought my car in the owner met me at the door and looked at it right away, it was an easy fix and he was even willing to show me. The previous oil change place had reused the crush washer so the leak was coming from the plug. It was a quick fix, less than the quote from the most friendly mechanic I've met in years! As an added bonus, his shop is 2 blocks from light rail so you can drop off in the morning, catch light rail into downtown for work and pick up after, or ride your bike in down the plate bike path just a mile or so away. I found my new mechanic, from here out I'm not going anywhere else!

I was referred to C.A.R.S. by someone with the same vehicle as me and needed a bunch of work done. Charley made it easy for me to prioritize the various repairs, and never pressured me to get more done on the car than necessary. All repairs were completed in a timely manner and I had a very positive experience. I will be using C.A.R.S. for my car needs in the future!

There are two things that are really important to find in these interesting times:1. A good doctor2. A good mechanicFinding C.A.R.S. has taken care of one of these for me. C.A.R.S. repaired the AC on my 2007 Honda CRV by removing the coolant, re-charging the system and replacing the HVAC filter. This was done at a nominal charge because last summer C.A.R.S. replaced my compressor and water pump.C.A.R.S. has good communication with customers, is knowledgeable with automotive repairs, is up-front with cost of needed services and is honest in making things right. C.A.R.S. can get the job done and get it done right.
