Great work! Called around to find someone to fix my 1985 pop up Coleman, the springs underneath broke. Called and set up an appointment a week out. Dropped my trailer, paid the deposit, and got t back a few weeks later! Mike was very helpful and knowledgeable and actually replaced my springs with higher capacity than they were. The deposit you pay goes towards labor, so you d be paying that anyway. With how the supply chain issues are right now, I m not surprised it took a few weeks to get the parts in and ordered. Thanks again for a great job! It sits higher than before, which is great for off road camping.

The axel of our camper broke in June and we had other emergency issues with figuring out where to tow the camper to be fixed. I called a few places and after I called Bear Country a few times we took it there for replacement. They are first come first serve which worked out fine for us as we had to deal with coordinating warranties and ordering of parts. Mike and Laura were great, they have a very unique office and shop and I would recommend using them.

Mike was Awesome! I was getting new tires on my 5th wheel before we leave tomorrow on a trip and they noticed my spring support had snapped off and needed welded first. I called Mike and he squeezed me in. I was in and out in 2 hours and back at tire store. He made it possible for us to leave on time. Thanks Mike!

Bear Country RV took care of several repairs for us. We inherited an RV that was in good shape for the age yet needed a little TLC. Mike was upfront with the estimated cost as well as the timeline that it may take. This is not a big box shop shuffling through customers. You are supporting your local family-owned business that has been around for a long time and will continue with local patrons. I appreciate the frank expectations yet the feeling you are talking with a neighbor. The shop is quaint, and you can tell Laura and Mike take pride in their business. One cannot help giggling at the sight of Mike cycling on his groovy beach cruiser to welcome you inside the gate. Check them out.

I have had the pleasure to have hired Bear Country to work on my motorhome over two years ago. I had many things go wrong, or break down, so I have been there many times. They have always gone above and beyond to get whatever I needed done accomplished and get me back on the road in a timely manner. I have never had ANY problems of any kind in all of those instances. After reading a couple of very bad reviews for this business, it is very hard for me to believe the authenticity of any of those alleged problems.I would highly recommend anyone with an RV that need honest, reliable work done... don't hesitate to take it here.

I brought in my 5th wheel to get a fresh water leak fixed and to replace a stuck gate valve in my black tank. Mike and his wife went the extra mile to deal with my extended warranty company, even though they did not have to as they normally do not deal with extended warranty companies (and now I know why!), but they were kind enough to go to bat for me to get the fix covered - and I cannot stress enough how much extra time they had to deal with these Good Sam warranty people to get the claim approved. I think between Mike and his wife, they had to call them over 6-8 times and probably spent at least a few hours on the phone with them (including hold times). Mike ended up carving up a whole hour of his shop time to allow me to come down there and have us two call the warranty claim people together in order to get them to approve the claim. And it took the whole hour but it finally got approved, thanks to all of Mike and Laura's work. Thanks to them, Good Sam did pay for $1100 of the claim. As a side note, DO NOT EVER BUY A GOOD SAM EXTENDED WARRANTY! They make your life miserable while trying to file a claim (hoping you will give up - I almost did) or try to trip you up with a technicality. Just to be clear, Good Sam has nothing to do with Bear Country - the policy was sold by Camping World. Mike was just kind enough to deal with these jerks to get the claim approved.

When leaving Bear Country after getting a new fan installed, I absentmindedly hooked my trailer up incorrectly and had it drop onto the chains at 50mph and run into the back of my truck. I was a bit shell shocked and called Mike, he hopped across the highway to do a safety check and hook things back up. He then spent the time with me back at the shop to determine how to fix the damage I had done in a cost effective way.For the actual work, I've been happy with both jobs Bear Country has done, and they've always been able to meet my deadlines while answering a million questions. Bonus points for talking to me about what fixes I can do on my own.

Mike did a great job on the repair of the frame of my boat trailer. Given the current status with material shortages and labor shortages, I was happy to bring my trailer to a trusted shop and know that I was going to get a quality job at a quality price. Mike did just that. I will recommend him to others and use his services again when needed.

I ve been doing business with Bear Country for close to ten years. I purchased my Boss snowplow from them, had it installed and have had it and my truck serviced by them ever since. Mike s mechanical skills are beyond compare. My plow business is in Breckenridge and when I break something on the truck or plow I m dead in the water until it can be fixed. They have always bent over backwards to accommodate me and fit me into their schedule so I can be back up and running as quickly as possible. Thanks for all you do Mike and Laura. You ll have my business forever!

Going into this place is a must for the ladies! There are lots of homemade jams and lovely little items that are great as gifts. It s also not like a lot of repair shops that are dirty and smell of grease. This is a quaint little shop with adorable grounds that are very welcoming. Mrs Bear (Laura) will take care of you up front and then turn you over to the RVs experts (her hubby and son). They do a fantastic job and will get you safely back on the road. They are extremely busy, so I urge you to call early instead of waiting until the problem is an emergency. We will be back!Service: Electrical

They are incredibly knowledgeable and professional every time and pricing is always fair. I always recommend Bear Country to anyone who needs trailer service.Services: Tires, Brakes, Oil change

Mike scheduled me, the next day, into a normally two week schedule. He put a new axle hub seal on my p30 chassis, without having to lift the back end, the wheels, or anything else. I suggest he buy a Presto HeatDish from Costco, so he can be warm while working outside!

We had our camper packed and ready to go on our first trip of the season. After being confined at home, it was very important to me to get out of town. Imagine my disappointment when my husband noticed a bad weld on the rear spring hanger. It was tearing away from the frame and unsafe to travel. I never imagined that it would be possible to get away for the 3 day weekend that we had planned. Bear Country Colorado, LLC was recommended to us. Mike made time in his schedule to fit us in, diagnosed the problem, performed the necessary repair and had us on the road within 24 hours!! They even went above and beyond to help us by contacting Good Sam regarding our extended warranty. Their service was amazing!! I would highly recommend Bear Country, LLC.

Bear country is by far the best place I could have taken my car to. My car died and they gave me the number to a tow truck company that they use. The tow truck driver got to me within an hour of me calling him. He was super nice. Got my car towed to the shop. Mike was awesome! He fixed my car really fast. Mike and Laura explained to me what was wrong with my car and they were very honest with me about what all needed to be fixed. My car runs so smooth now. I'm never going anywhere else. Being a girl you can't just trust anyone. There are a lot of mechanics that would have ripped me of. I would highly recommend going here! Thanks Bear Country

Mike gave our RV a clean bill of health after checking out our electrical problems. I really thought he had fixed it. On a trip we took a couple of weeks later the same problem with our 30amp cord happened again. The only item he replaced was 1 battery. I won't say how much he charged but I fixed the problem myself on the road in under an 1/2 hour at a cost of under $25.00. that was 10% of labor he charged. I don't mind paying for the service if it is fixed correctly. I like dealing with small business if they are good. His comment was I probably complain about everything. And I believed him.

Mike the owner helped fix a leaking Boss snow plow. He also installed the plow on my truck and sold and installed wings. His prices were accurate and competitive. His service and knowledge was exceptional. Thanks for the great service. I highly recommend him.

You pay for an appointment up front. That is non-refundable. You equipment is not looked at during your scheduled appointment time, but rather sometime in the next week-maybe. Then the parts needed are ordered and sometime in the next few months, your equipment will be repaired. Don't be fooled by the word appointment. Your equipment is there at their convenience. You have to schedule your travels around their repair schedule, but the repair is being sold as "having an appointment" If you question the gal on the phone to get a better understanding of what to expect, she will hang up on you.

I ve used Bear County s services on several occasions for trailer repair. Mike has provided quality workmanship, fare prices and done in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to return when in need of further repairs. This is a family business that does it the right way and I like supporting the local businessman.

I do not like to take my Jeep in for repair work because I usually get screwed and always end up paying for something else that wasn't broke in the first place. This place was just awesome. They knew exactly what was wrong with my baby and they fixed her!I was very impressed with how quickly they were able to get my Jeep fixed and their price was very reasonable. I am definitely coming back when I need to. I finally found a good honest place to take my Jeep to.

Grateful for Bear Country!!!Our 32ft RV bottomed out and needed to get a fuel pump replaced. They pretty much saved my boyfriend and Is life while traveling across country. They got us in as soon as they could, and made sure to fit us in and get the help we needed. They were super sweet, and showed true concern and care. They definitely lifted our spirits and put us back on the right path as quick as possible.****bbtakeontheworld

I saw in a response to multiple customers, that Bear Country responded to a review and included all of the customers PERSONAL CONTACT INFORMATION in the response. I believe that was done as an intimidation tactic and completely unprofessional, let alone damaging. It looks like any negative responses are handled this way.I did not patronize this business, and hearing more information it sounds like the business is feeling it is bullied frequently, therefore when negative reviews are submitted, they respond similarly. Apparently this customer-bullying is more common than in the past (per the business, for whatever reason).I've revised my review, increasing from 1 to 3 stars as the business had agreed that including the customer-private information is not appropriate and removed it from the review response.

There's a sign on the counter that says be nice, however it only applies to customers. The big bear guy was very rude and tried to be intimidating when all he had to do was say thank you, but I do not want the job on your RV. Like it was my fault for coming in there and trying to give him some business. The tropical theme is a grand facade for big bear guy to try to intimidate customers and act like all other dime a dozen rv mechanics that will only work on easy make a quick buck repairs.....I'm sure bear guy will deny all comments and say he's a great guy...I wouldn't waste my time writing this, if I didn't feel wronged, please don't bother with the attempt of apology.....

I usually don't mind if reviews aren't perfect and I like to make my own judgements but it says a lot about a business in how they respond to problems and criticism. Looking at the reviews here and their feedback it's a major RED FLAG. It's never appropriate to DOX someone. I just heard the owners response on the radio and she is completely TONE DEAF! I would expect nothing but problems from this place at the slightest hint of a problem. I'm a business owner and been in the service industry for over 20 years and I always believe you should shut up and make it right no matter what. Some people can be bullies but that's part of business.

Super Great Experience. Called and have been to several RV repair places, usually you get treated like you are a bother. Not here, you are treated with great service, care, and a smile. They want to listen to your problem and do the correct repairs. If you want great service, quality repairs, very fair prices, then this is the place. Call them, you won't be disappointed. Best place in Colorado!

Would love to give this place 0 stars! Had to plow mount installed didn't do a great job and also bent my steering stabilizer. I argued about the problem and they called the cops on me LOL!after raising all kinds of hell they finally fixed it but now after just a couple years i had to replace the steering stabilizer again because i think they put a used one on! It was a brand new truck buyer beware!

You better make sure you know what a part for your car is. Also know what they cost. I took my jeep weangler to this business and ended up paying over 5,000 in getting a lift put on my jeep. They ordered a rubicon express lift short arm kit. They charged me 3600 for a short arm lift, but a rubicon express lift is 2000. The labor for the installation was correct and cost around 1100. When I had asked where they purchased the rubicon express lift, the owner told me it was none of my damn business. And said he was going to call the police for harassment. All I had done was call and ask when I foind out how much the lifts actually cost. They wouldn't allow me to speak to the representative of whom my tires came from. They told me to never contact them again because I think I cought them taking advantage of a veteran and pocketing the difference of the lift. I would recommend NOT going to Bear Country Colorado. They will cheat you.

These people are mean and intimidate people. See what they wrote to Mary. Also, please read the other responses from other people. Our world does not need companies like Bear Country Colorado, LLC - RV Camper Trailer that use intimidation techniques. Do not use

Excellent service. They dealt with me as an individual and explained what was going on without treating me like I was stupid, like many other places I have taken my vehicle to. Would recommend to anyone looking for an honest mechanic to service their vehicle.
