Took my car in to get the transmission checked. Took them a week to get back to tell me what the problem was and how much it would cost. They don't give updates and rarely answer the phone. It's been 3 weeks since I left my car with them. I called them 7 times until someone finally picked up. He said my car is ready. I asked him how long it's been ready for. He said he didn't know. The poor communication is a huge issue because I don't have a way of knowing how long to rent a car for which cost me lots of extra money.TLDR: Horrible communication. Rarely answer the phone.

I have been waiting to be contacted by anyone from this establishment. I brought in my 05 Pontiac Grand Prix, after a few weeks and more than 5k later I got it back. I drove it and my steering wheel is not aligned, I m missing an engine cover, the car stalled while driving it. I had been trying to contact them, but have had no luck.

They did correctly diagnose and repair my vehicle. But communication through the 9 day process was lacking. The price at pickup was $600 higher than quoted on the phone. They did correct the price issue after I pointed it out.

This AMMCO Location, more specifically Chris, is absolutely AMAZING! I have had ongoing issues with my car since the day I bought it and Chris was such a breath of fresh air to the auto world! He was very communicative (and truthful) about timelines and price estimates, and was understanding and patient with all my questions! They went beyond expectations to make sure everything was working correctly before giving my car back!Highly recommend this shop!

I brought my Honda minivan in to squeeze out a few more miles. The staff did a thorough job of assessing the condition of the transmission and worked to fit me in for a rebuild. After driving it for a few days, a small leak developed. Again, they worked me in, and made the repair the same day, no charge, even though it had nothing to do with the work they did on my transmission. Great customer service!Service: Transmission

We came for an oil change and a brake check. We were able to get a same day appointment. They let us know we didn t need knew brakes instead of up selling us. But they did let us know we needed a new air cabin filter. We went here with our 11 foot tall and 20 foot long camper van! So a good place to go if you are a van lifer.

Had them rebuild the transmission on my Ford bronco. They did a fantastic job. Really good pricing. Kept me updated through the entire process and had a fast turn around time. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Had a great experience here and Jessi the manager really took care of me. My Subaru was having some slipping issues and they convinced me not to do the flush because it could do more hard than good! Will definitely be recommending them to my friends!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

It was worth all the money and more! From their initial response to checking in and out was altogether a great experience. Bryce the manager delivered not only great customer service but gave me a great sense/peace of mind. My car felt sluggish and Bryce got me right in and walked me through the whole process on what they would look at and what the rough estimates would be. A few hours after I dropped the car off, Bryce called and went over everything and what the charges may be if I wanted to have them repair the car after Chris did a full inspection of it. I felt very confident about the service as Chris knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. Later on that day Bryce called and said the car was all done and ready to go! The checkout process was nice and easy. Thanks Bryce and Chris for making sure my car is safe and road ready. AAMCO will definitely be my go to for any auto repairs from now on. Would highly recommend their work repairs and customer service!

Worked with Joe mainly on diagnostic of what was believed to be a transmission related shifting problem. After initially waiting for a part/sensor (that ended up not being related to my vehicle). The shop did some tests on the recently rebuilt transmission, everything supposedly checked out. After another test drive the team cleared all the vehicle codes and told me to take it to a different shop that works with diesel trucks. Took about 2 weeks for the diagnostic that there were no transmission issues and the team forgot to do an oil change. Communication was scattered throughout on time it would take, when parts were ordered, and level of work to be done.

I was quoted an amount that already seemed high to replace seals on transfer case, then received a text to pick my car up with a price over 200 dollars more than the quote. When I called they said the additional charge was for trans fluid in the case, a charge they knew they would have to do when replacing the seals but neglected to mention or quote. If I had known the job would be that expensive I definitely would have waited to do it next month. Disappointed in the lack of professionalism

Took our 94 GMC Sierra 1500 plow truck in for a new clutch. Ended up needing a new front suspension as well. Chris worked with us and went above and beyond to complete the repairs as quickly as possible. He was super communicative throughout the entire process - we needed parts special ordered and felt like Chris did everything he could to get our truck back right away. I'll definitely be taking all my vehicles here from now on. Thanks Chris and Joe for the amazing service!

My husband and I were leaf peeping and our check engine light came on so we were extremely happy to spot the Aamco off 285. We pulled up and Bryce the shop manager was able to help us even without an appointment. Bryce informed us that his tech Chris would do a full inspection on our car. We ended up only having a minor issue which was causing the check engine light to turn on. I couldn t believe how efficient Chris was, our day was only delayed by a couple of hours and we were back on the road. If you re looking for a shop with honest trustworthy people then look no further. Aamco is a name you can trust and these men truly live up to that name.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Chris and the owner have been great to deal with from start to end. Giving updates throughout the whole process and often. Took our vehicle there because of a warranty issue. Went to another place prior that simply didn't care. From the start this place sprung into action and delt with the insurance for us. 100% recommend and would visit again.

Shop was poorly lighted and not very clean, oil stains on floor etc. Had a rear differential seal replaced, upon further inspection by another mechanic the drive shaft was reinstalled incorrectly , which would have caused a catastrophic rear end failure. I took my vehicle back to aamco,explained the problem. They inspected my truck and said nothing was wrong . Took my truck back to my mechanic, problem was fixed . Basically aamco lied and fixed it while saying nothing was wrong . I'm a disabled Veteran, I was lied to. Beware.Service: Transmission

Felt so comfortable, management seemed very honest, gave me print out and breakdown for charges on future needs on my old car.Did free fall check up! good experiance, will go back. 5 days before heading out on a honeymoon transfer case started singing. I dont know how many team members came together but they were ordering parts and getting them installed in record time. Cant thank this whole group of techs, mechanics, and front desk enough.

This place is awesome. Got me in for an oil change really fast. Everyone here was super professional and kind. They also saved me from spending almost $2000 at another auto shop on problems that weren t actually problems. Really honest work. They didn t try to sell me on things I didn t need. I highly recommend this place!!
