I just moved from GJ to Cedaredge 3 weeks ago and noticed my car was making some unusual sounds and knew I needed to get it in ASAP. I m not familiar with this area yet but I was referred to The Shop by a good friend and a couple of community members and I m so glad they did! Not only did I call in a panic Sunday night and left a voicemail they called me FIRST thing Monday morning and got me right in to diagnose what was going on: Breaks, Rotors, & New Battery.Mel, Heather, and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing! Mel brought me out to my car to have him and the mechanic show me exactly what was wrong and gave me the cost upfront.More than reasonable prices all around, hands down!Not only is it a great auto repair it really is your One Stop Shop! You hungry? Thirsty for a beer? Need your car fixed, or a basic oil change?Well look no further than this auto repair shop in Eckert!What more could you really ask for?!And I can t forget the best part, the shop dog ROCKO! Thank you all so very much again for getting me in so quickly and doing an amazing job on my 4Runner!!!Will recommend anyone and everyone to you guys!

We were looking for a spot to get an oil change done before we headed out to GJ today. Called The Shop or Castrol Premium Lube Express on Hwy 65 in Eckert. After asking what type of vehicle, she said bring it in and we ll be ready. On arrival they had the needed filters etc to get the job done. Clean shop, waiting area with awesome food by Route 65. TVs to pass the time and the cutest baby girl, Vanessa. Every employee was friendly and greeted us just in their passing. I think we found our spot for servicing our vehicles.

Got new front tires for my International 8100, as well as front end work done. Also, worked on my 05 Yukon XL. They are a good shop. I really do appreciate them.

These guys do great work at a fair price and the best part is they offer free towing if you get your vehicle repaired with them! We have used the tow service twice. They are very quick and professional. We also love that you can order breakfast or lunch while you wait on the other side and they have the best prices around!

There are a lot of times when you dread going to a mechanic. Always thinking they are out to get the most money they can. I have been going to The Shop for several years, and i can tell you they are the fairest mechanics I have ever dealt with. They always try to find you the best deals on tires and parts. If you need brakes, tires, whatever, give them a try, you will not regret it.

If you aren t happy, it s not them, it s you, Mel takes good care of my entire family. I live over an hour away but I wouldn t go anywhere else or trust anyone more. They get the job done, and if there is any problem at all, they will make it right. Best prices. Best work. Best place. My regular shop closed up and I just happened to find The Shop. Even though it was much further from my home I decided to try them. I took two vehicles in one trip. While it took 2 1/2 hrs. to get our radiator flush it was explained that they were held up waiting for parts from another business. I didn't know they have a small food business so while we waited we did have breakfast. The food was good and fairly priced. The second vehicle was left there till afternoon to find what was wrong. Both vehicles were cheaper than I was quoted at other businesses I called and we were absolutely pleased with the services we received. The staff we dealt with were very friendly. Both car and truck are running great. I hope not but if something else comes up they will be the first business I call.

I brought in a wheel and a new tire. it wasn t on a car. I only needed a tire installed on wheel not balanced, and not removing an old tire. That will be $20 please I should ve shopped around. Walmart will take the old tire off the car, put the new tire on, reinstall the wheel and tire back on the car and give you a lifetime rotation, and balance for $14. See what I mean?Service: Tires

Took my mini cooper here after I got taken advantage of over at surface creek auto hoping to find an honest mechanic, starting to think there is no such thing, and he wants to charge me $1,200 for 11 hours to replace the clutch. Not to mention that he had my car for just over 2 months! It's not my fault he has mechanic problems but somehow I'm getting the short end of the stick because of it. Don't go here you will get over charged. I won't return and definitely would not refer this place.

Mel is a great guy I've been taking stuff to the shop for a while now and they always fix it right. I've never had a complaint about there customer service or the great work that the mechanics do. The prices are affordable and don't break the bank. This place always makes sure you are well taken care of. Every time we have come in for something needing a quick fix they do not hesitate to get it done! Not only is the repair shop staff wonderful but the burger place staff is also very friendly and accomidating. Thanks for being so helpful each time we highly reccomend bringing your car here.

If you don't want your vehicle returned to you in worse condition than you brought it in, stay FAR away from this shop! Their diesel mechanic, Cord, doesn't know his head from his rear. We brought our truck in for new tires and to repair an oil leak. The very next morning after bringing it home our batteries were completely shot and the leak was still there and even worse than before. We got the batteries replaced, and that same day the high pressure oil pump blew. It was towed back to this shop where this "mechanic" if that's what you can even call him, claims he told us it needed replaced, when he never mentioned it. Mel allowed for Cord to get very rude and disrespectful with us and continue on with his lie. We had to pay to replace the part just so we could get our truck back, even though we've talked with other mechanics who have backed us and said that Cord had to have done his job wrong to cause this to happen. If you want to deal with rude, dishonest people and have your vehicle broken, then use this shop. But if you want to be treated with honesty, respect, and trust your vehicle is being well taken care of, go somewhere else!!

Mel, Rachel and all the mechanics are great here! I have been several times over the past months and they always listen to their customers, and only fix the problem, nothing extra. If they see other issues, they inform their customer. (I went in for a smell of gas, and they pointed out my major transmission leak).

They did a set of wheel bearings on my camper at a last minutes notice before I had to leave town the very next morning. I couldn't be more thankful and appreciative of their exceptional customer service! Highly recommend.

They worked on a Toyota 4runner and 78 jeep truck. No problems and not terrible on prices. Nice to get free towing and same day service. They did some work without letting me know but the prices were good. Would go again

I had to take time to write this review because it seems like you never get to send rave reviews about an auto shop. Instead, you often feel overcharged and under serviced. This is not the case with this place. Their service is top-notch and their prices are beyond fair. I will be back with all of my vehicles. I recommend you do the same. :-)

This is the third time I have taken our vehicles to "The Shop" and have yet to be disappointed. He has been right on his estimates. He has always finished on time.The lunch is great. But most of all they are grateful for the business. You won't be disappointed.

The Shop Automotive & Tire assessed what was wrong with my car and made the necessary repairs to get it running again in a timely manner with great service and attention to detail. Mel, the owner, is friendly, genuine and sincerely helpful. With 30 years of experience, he has a wealth of knowledge to get your car running effectively. Another happy customer recommended The Shop to me and I highly recommend them to everyone who is looking for a fair price and excellent car service with a smile and a good sense of humor!

Owner is honest with you about what is wrong with your car & he has very reasonable prices.Free towing 24/7, and if repares are done at The Shop there's not a charge for the tow.We won't take our cars to any other place!

Have brought my truck and two cars to the shop and have been pleasantly surprised with the work done and how quickly it was done. All the guys working there are eagar to assist, and the owner genuinely goes out of his way to make sure everything is done correctly.

Delightful people. I had a emergency and was immediately helped. I was so impressed, I made a repair appointment for my other subaru. Was surprised there was a full cafe. It smelled delightful.

Very honest work and reasonable prices! I live in Cedaredge and it is so easy to pull into The Shop Automotive & Tire... they're just down the street! They work on all my vehicles from my '69 Camaro to my Dodge diesel and several others! It is also nice that I don't have to make appointments they just get me right in! Highly recommend The Shop for all your automotive needs!

Went in for oil change. Got a free inspection and found out my brakes are metal to metal. I wondered what that noise was lol. Got them replaced same day same time as my oil change. Great service with very competitive pricing. I will definitely take all my vehicles here from now on.
