The company I work for traveled to Denver and did the ATV tour as a final outing for the trip. Brandi and Colby were amazing and gave us the confidence we needed to be relaxed and have fun. Communication was top notch the entire time making sure we knew how to handle the machine and where to go. We had a participant that needed some time in the quad, we had a lost cell phone somewhere in the trail which Brandi was able to find! and we had a branch through one of the ATVs radiators. Can't wait to see the pictures from the outing!

We booked one of their cabins on short notice. It was a fantastic stop for weary travelers. The location was right on the highway, and not the most aesthetic looking place but....The price was very good. The place was clean and roomy. It had the best shower I had in the previous 7 places we stayed. We could not hear the highway when inside the cabin (and I always get the top floor at hotels because I am a light sleeper). The stay was totally contactless. We never interacted with anyone. I would definitely stay here again, and again!!! We had cabin #1, Aspen. Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed in a two bedroom cabin. It was very nice, and clean. There is no A/C (which they clearly state on their site), but it was hot going to bed. Windows were open, but the road noise is loud.We also went rafting on the intermediate course. It was awesome! Our guide, Collin Rogers, was the best! It was one of the highlights of our trips for sure!

Our group of four, ranging in age from 30-80, had a great time on the ATV excursion. Two of us were first timers but our guides, Brandi and Coldy, made us feel like pros. They were both encouraging and knowledgeable so we felt like we were in good hands from the beginning. Highly recommend Lawsons Adventure Park. We will be back for river rafting next summer.

I came here to talk to the outfitting company for a river rafting about their services and discovered that this is not just an outfitter, but an entire adventure park. They have yurts and cabins that you can rent as well as a food truck and a bar. If you re looking for a place to stay, that s not too far away from Denver, but not deep in the middle of the city. I would definitely recommend coming here for the outdoorsman vibe.I talked extensively with the owner of the rafting company and one of the guides while at the bar. This location is partnered with Polaris for ATV and off-road tours. They even have another company that is running jeep tours from that location. I believe they will let you drive the jeep on the off-road tours so that s really cool.If city life is getting you down, definitely come to the mountains and reach a chill vibe.I shot lots of content in this area, so if you want to see more of that, follow me on YouTube with the same name and here on Google Maps!Rooms: So much variety.Nearby activities: This area is known for the clear creek and rafting. If you like doing outdoor activities, some of which are pretty extreme then you ll be right at home here.Safety: You are almost on your own out here, so be safe, regardless of where you are.Walkability: The walk ability of the grounds is very nice although if you wanted to get anywhere else, you might want to take a car or another form of transportation because it s a long walk to nearby restaurantsFood & drinks: I didn t get to try the food truck, but I did get to try the bar and they have a lot of great options and great conversationsNoteworthy details: This is not your average hotel

We loved the cabins well appointed. Very comfortable bed. We also appreciated their furnishings were easy to keep clean since we had our fur babies with us. The hosts and team members were very friendly and accommodating. Location was convenient to the freeway, and the noise did not distract from the views. We also had the pleasure of joining a group of musicians who were playing at the bar and grill one of the nights. Neil was very entertaining as the bartender/host. Lots of fun!

Loved this place! The setting is beautiful with lots to do. The yurt was roomy and we kept warm with the provided heaters. The bathrooms were quite nice and clean. We did Beginner Fly Fishing with Scott he was the best!! Very knowledgeable and a great teacher. We caught several fish! Would definitely come back!

Overall my son and I really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a Yurt that had a queen bed and bunk beds. The Yurt had a heater which was so nice since we stayed at the end of winter. I loved that they are dog friendly as well. The communication between us as guests, and the staff was great over text. However, we were literally the only guests on the property and the staff didn t know who we were and even thought we were trespassing at some point. Also, since we went during their slow season, most of the activities were closed. But my son and I will be returning during the Summer because it looks so fun when it s fully functioning. You will hear the freeway noise all night but they do provide ear plugs and after a long day, I just passed out. The ice fishing in my opinion was a 5 out 5 stars. Our guide was amazing. He knew everything about fishing on ice and my son caught 6 fish! I ll be returning in late June for sure to try a shotski and hopefully gold mining.

we went rafting with Christian today and it was so much fun! the bus ride was easy and smooth, thanks to Joe, and we were accompanied by the sweetest pup named Nomad. Christian directed us down the river in a way that made us feel safe & was always super clear. Collin took us to an area where we could jump into the river off of a rock which was exciting. overall 10/10 experience and we will be coming back

We came for the white water rafting and stayed for the... Everything! It was a great adrenaline rush. The disc golf course and the friendly bar were a bonus experience. Colin our WWR guide was a solid professional. They have a photographer, but our trip (7/17-intermediate) never showed up on the website. That was a bummer.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The cabin was very nice and comfortable. Lots of great activities here to keep you busy, and there s a ton of cool places nearby for going exploring. The best part of this place is the staff. Everyone I talked to was super friendly and welcoming. Shout out to Neil who made us feel right at home from the moment we got here.

Went white water rafting on clear creek. First time and had an awesome experience with my daughters. Several class 3 rapids on the beginner portion which made it fun. Would do the intermediate next time. Jacob was our guide, he was great. Give your cash tip direct to your guide rather than through website. I did half and half but regret.

I rented the one bedroom cabin as a central place to ski at several different locations instead of staying at one resort. The cabin was way big enough for just me! Could easily put a family of four in there with ample room. Communication was super easy through text. So I could converse with them while on the lift or in the cafeteria. Place was so central to where I skied: Copper, A-Basin, Winter Park, and Loveland. Each night I came back to the cabin and rested well for the next day. It is just off I-70. Easy access! If you re a light sleeper though, just play white noise on your phone for the occasional truck engine braking. Traffic slows down to nothing by 11 pm or at least it did when I was there. Definitely going back again. It was just so convenient.

Stayed here for 1 night during a roadtrip. The yurts are okay and have plenty of heaters. The shared bathroom is fine. Food was good. The website mentioned that there "may" be traffic noise. If you are in a yurt, you will be hearing the interstate all night. It felt like I was being spammed by the amount of emails they sent me before our stay about checking in and such.

I was VERY apprehensive about the ATV tour. I had never driven one before, I had planned on being a passenger with my hubby instead of driving my own. After talking with Dakota for just a few minutes, my apprehension faded and I started to get EXCITED! He gave simple instructions and set my mind at ease. I felt SAFE at the top of a mountain, navigating through narrow spaces, because Dakota was leading our group! I NEVER thought I would ve done something like this! It was way outside of my comfort zone and EASILY my FAVORITE part of our vacation! We will DEFINITELY be back and will request Dakota and Dustin for sure! The whole team at Lawson s are experienced, safe and FUN! Not to mention, Dakota took AMAZING pics of the trip too! THANKS AGAIN GUYS!-your friends from Cincinnati

Comfy cozy little cabins with great views of the mountains and close to Loveland Ski Area. The Stay and Play package has great value with ski tickets and the location makes it a quick drive. We've been here twice and the cabins have always been clean and the service has always been very responsive. I like sleeping with a noise machine, and even with the close proximity to the highway, it's pretty quiet in the cabins. Occasionally there's a loud semi driving past. But the convenience of hopping on the highway in a few minutes makes it worth it. Wifi speeds can be a bit slow, but considering you're in the mountains, you can't really complain. Cable TV is a nice bonus as well.

Not your average teambuilding! My team did a 3-hour ATV tour. Awesome adventure. Our Guide, Brandi, was very knowledgeable, attentive, patient, and hilarious! The trails were built by goldminers to get to the mines! Super cool to see the old mineshafts. Surprisingly athletic; not just a mellow ride through the woods. Perfect for teambuilding with a dash of adrenaline.

A nice spot that could use some improvements. Our yurt floor was dirty before we arrived and the beds are mostly just metal coils at this point. The price is a bit steep for glamping. Bathrooms were clean and close by. But they need a gender neutral bathroom/disability accessible bathroom. Loud traffic noise. Can't open the windows in the yurts (at least not easily). A very convenient spot and easy check in/check out.

This place is awesome! The cabin was fully furnished with beautiful interior. Check out that whirlpool sink! Plenty of space for 4 people! Rafting with our guide, Jason, was quite the exhilarating experience! Pat and Stu were great safety and photo peeps! Highly recommend checking out this place for its nice cabins and conveniently located attractions!

This place is terrible!!!! Very dirty. The florrs have probably NEVER been mopped. They turned our feet black after only walkong around for about 20 minutes inside with no shoes. Shower get out a d your dirty again within 10 minutes bc the floors are so disgusting. The stupid wall heater dont turn off, they are dangerous. One electricuted me when i tried to turn the knob to turn it off. There is absolutely zero AC and only 1 damn fan in the entire cabin we stayed in. There lots of windows but if you open those you cant even have a conversation with the person sitting RIGHT NEXT TO YOU, bc the roar of the traffic from the highway is so damn loud. The tv i noir cabin didn't work. The dude tried to come out to fix it but with no luck, didnt seem to have any concern over the hazardous heater that electricuted me. then he proceeded to threaten to charge us a pet fee for my service dog which was documented when we booked the cabin. When we were asked how our stay was, we expressed all of these concerns again to the man and he did nothing except express to us how he would "wave the cleaning penalty charge for the few dishes we didnt wash".There are grill outside so you do t have to heat the house more by using the stove and ove. But they are completely rusted out and only one would turn on with a teeny flame that wouldnt stay lit long enough to cook anything. You would think as much as they charge for a room per night, they could afford some decent housekeeping and maintenance. Unfortunately, thats not the case, i guess they are just greedy and pocket it all instead of maintaining this property.Dont waste your moneg here!!! There are far better, cleaner, more comfortable, less noisy places to stay for the price. I absolutely will not be back and i do not reccomend this place to anyone!!! Its bot safe, its not clean and its certainly not comfortable . I would give zero stars if it were an option. Do better! Maybe instead of paying more than one person to sit on the office all day you could pay one to actually clean. Just a suggestion

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in a cabin. Cabin was clean and had a decently stocked kitchen, it does not have a coffee maker and lodge to get coffee doesn t open until 8am , so if you are an early riser be advised. Also cabins do not have AC so we slept with windows open and the noise from the interstate was bothersome to my husband. Jamie from house keeping was so sweet and helpful. We did 2 of the guided adventures, beginner rafting and beginner via zip lining, both were AWESOME!! Clay our rafting guide was great, took our safety very seriously. There was someone from another raft who fell in the water and all guides reacted swiftly and worked together to get them out of the water quickly and safely, very impressed. We had Callie, Aaron , and Brandon for Via Zip lining , all three were amazing. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and safety oriented. This adventure was a little more intense but we with the help and encouragement of our guides we felt like pos by the end. Can t remember the names of bar/coffee staff but they were all so friendly and drinks were delicious. All in all I would say it was a great get away and we would recommend it. Thank you to all of the staff at Lawson Adventure park!
