I reached out to Soneff's Garage to start a major overhaul project on an older Camaro. This classic car was driven in on a flatbed trailer, limping on all four tires into the shop, creaks from the worn-out suspension and the smell of a recent engine fire. Irvine, who I worked with throughout the entire project, took out his magic mechanic wand and transformed a once, timeless classic into a beautiful piece of retro mod art. Irvine and the entire staff at Soneff s garage delicately put bits and pieces of life back into this Ol Gal. Soneff s was able to take the dream I had for so many years and make it into a reality. If you have the same dream, I recommend giving Soneff s a call.

Soneff's undertook a very extensive recommissioning and service of my 1967 Ford F100 pick-up truck - they did a great job. Everything was checked through and it enabled my wife and I to take a 3500 mile road trip through Colorado, Wyoming and Montana in 3 weeks with not one problem. All I can say is WOW! Be ready, this is going to be a long review! There are so many positives dealing with everyone at Soneff's Master Garage!Being from Canada, we were in the market for a very specific 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger. One night, I had been browsing around online seeing what was available. We had just missed one by a few days and we were a little disappointed. As I was getting ready to pack up, an ad popped up on the corner of my screen with a picture of the EXACT car we were looking for. I was hesitant to click on the link thinking it may be a virus, but ended up checking it out. The website seemed honest, so I saved the page.The following day, I called the shop. I was greeted by a rep named Taylor who did some digging in order to make sure the vehicle was still in stock. Although at the time we had not committed to the purchase, she was very helpful nonetheless. She put us in touch with Jay, owner of the garage. When I got in touch with him (he is a very busy man), Jay gave me a complete run down of the vehicle from top to bottom; he was no BS'er, Jay knows his stuff. What made the vehicle special in our opinion was how it had been his driver and he really cared for it.Over the next couple of months, we went back and forth by email. Again, at that point, there was no word whether we had committed or not, but he still gave his undivided attention to us. It was around the two month mark when my dad and I seriously spoke about it that we felt if we were going to purchase a vehicle, this was the one.We decided to fly to Denver from Canada and see the vehicle in person. Jay was accommodating in arranging transport from the airport to the garage. In the meantime, an inspection was ordered on the Dart with a third party inspector. For the most part, the inspection came back good with very little issues. I want to add in that the inspector was happy with the way Jay had the vehicle ready upon his arrival. It made his inspection time shorter without any hiccups. Any notes that came up, Jay was willing to do a quality repair on upon our request.When we arrived in Denver, Jay was very welcoming, first giving us the full tour of the garage as well as his vehicle inventory. That was a very cool bonus! We chatted with his crew for quite a while; they are all so friendly and willing to answer question due to our limited knowledge of vehicles. They all really make you feel at home! His garage is beautiful by the way :) I love the old architecture of the downtown buildings and Jay has a prime one. Afterwards, we took the Dart for a test drive which is a thrill you just can't describe. We were pleased that Jay trusted us to drive the vehicle without signing any papers, that is what really sealed the deal.Back at the office, we met Debbie and Taylor in person. Debbie was super kind, being patient as we went through all the paperwork and they explained everything honestly. We could tell that they were not trying to sell us a dud of any kind. When a payment issue arose due to international banking, they were more than willing to let us just pay a small deposit until we could return to Canada and sort the finances out. All in all, we left Denver very happy with our decision!Fast forwarding to now, I have been in touch quite frequently with Debbie getting advice on shipping and filling out forms (to the point where I feel bad HAHA)! She is always willing to help & is very quick and thorough getting me any information I require. It has been a big stress taken off knowing that if I have any questions in regards to anything, she is only a call or email away. It has and will continue to be an absolute joy working with her making our dream a reality!We are so excited to finally be at this point and we could not have done it as seamless as it was without their knowledge of the system! You can guarantee that we will be back in future to add to our dream, no hesitations whatsoever!It isn't just about a car, it's the relationships you make along the way that last a lifetime!Many thanks again,Nathan and Jeff Baron

Terrible customer service. I called 3 times over 2 days just to try and make an appointment. I was told Dave would call me right back. Never got the call back. If I get treated this way this way for something as simple as trying to make an appointment, I sure am glad I didn't leave my car here. Here's a pointer... If you are too busy, simply say "we cant take appointments right now"Edit: Similar to my phone call the review response is 4 month later. The phone call resolved that you DO NOT service Audi when you clearly advertise that you do. I would suggest you don't waste peoples time.

Where do I start with these guys!! I purchased a 1974 International Scout from a vintage auto place in Denver but live in Kentucky. Soneff's was recommended to me for an inspection of the vehicle and repairs. Jay went out and looked at it and then rushed it to his garage as I was flying out to drive it before shipping it home to KY. Once is was back at Soneff's is were the best experience I have ever had with a Garage started!! Dave was the head mechanic that took over, he took the time to advise me the things that needed done, the things that could be fixed later and always stayed in contact with me about the costs every step of the way. I only gave them about 4 days to complete the work and they understood the time crunch due to airline flights that I was under. I was so impressed with the work done that I left the Scout for some additional work before it being shipped back to me!! So, if you are looking for the job to be done right on your classic investment and want the piece of mind that everything would be done to your satisfaction, then there is no other place to go in the Denver area. These guys are now considered family to me and I will use them again. Dave and Jay you are the best in town!!!! Have a 1969 Corvette with an electrical problem that caused intermittent non-starting of the car. Took a few hours to trouble shoot and repair, but Soneff's solved the issue. Hats off to Irvine for this work. Also, Jason was able to remove a scratch on my Audi within 30 minutes. Did not expect him to be able to work on the scratch when I just stopped by earlier this week, but he fit it in. Also recently had to have my transmission rebuilt. The rebuild took several weeks at the shop Soneff's uses, but works great now. Soneff's did a nice job on the trans removal and reinstall. Very professional and courteous crew at Soneffs. Very customer-focused.Services: Electrical repair, Transmission repair

Jay took the time to show me a car he's got listed for sale, let me crawl around all over it, gave me the backstory, and also showed me around the shop. He's honest, funny, and very knowledgeable. If he has a car that you want to buy, you can rest assured he'll tell it to you straight.Shop looks great, they specialize in older vehicles, and I'd trust them completely to do restoration work.And - if you live in the neighborhood and need some help with something - I'm sure they'd do a good job. Just understand it's not just a regular repair shop - the place works on really valuable classic cars on a regular basis.

#1 car mechanic I have ever been to! 5-star customer service with extremely high quality repair work at a reasonable price. They have worked on my Ford Focus a couple of times to work on my exhaust and suspension system as well as basic maintenance. After every visit they step through the repairs that were made and they always put in better parts than were originally in the car. Dave and his team are the experts when it comes to automotive repair and I appreciate their honest communication!

Ervin and Jay were wonderful to work with and always kept me posted on the progress of my 1969 Firebird. The work was completed in a timely manner and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this business to anyone in the Denver area. I would also like to add the professionalism of the front desk receptionist (I forgot her name). She was always very sweet and provided great customer service.

Took them my 1970 Bronco after wrecking it on black ice. They put it back together and restored some other things I wanted done (including a new paint job and adding vintage AC). I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. Their work was fantastic--everything done to the highest quality. They were friendly, responsive, and honest. Gave me options for everything done and didn't pressure me on any point. Pricing was excellent as well. Jay was awesome to work with. Dave is extremely qualified, communicative, an dhelpful. Just a great experience start to finish.

Bought a 1968 Barracuda from Jay. Not only was Jay honest about the car i made a great Friend. Jay is very Knowledgeable about classic cars.Jay was kind enough to clear his very busy schedule to give us a first class tour of his operation. Met a lot of his staff during the tour.If you love cars like I do Jay has lots . I thought I was in a candy store.When we were on the tour we seen many cars in various stages of restoration. I was impressed by the quality of work they do.I am planning another trip to see Jay and his cars.i have had lots of complements on the car i bought.Matt

Dont go here i took my classic here years ago paid lots of money to get it restored and they couldnt finish it because there were more important customers then me even though isank 10k into this place to get my car going and they didnt even put my trunk rods back when they were the ones who took them off to install my fuel pump treated me like a second rate customer even though i spent money there do not go here plus they had a drunk working on my car who came into work several times ,i was told drunk,who they ended up firing dont want that to happen to anyone else never go here

Saw the ad for a survivor 1967 GTX and emailed plus called on the weekend. I received a call back within several hours and spoke with Jay. After hearing more about the car and seeing photos plus video i decided to purchase the car. The entire experience has been great and Jay has been very helpful with the details about the car plus getting it prepared for my father and I to drive back to Wisconsin. Great information, great communication

Had a really good experience with the service team. Went in for carb issues and a broken control arm bolt, as they discovered other shops miss steps they were really good about communicating and solving only what was needed. So many times other shops want to replace everything and run up a bill, never felt that way during my time. More so it was apparent they wanted my business over the long haul as they delivered my 66 Vette in way better condition than when I dropped it off!Don t get caught up in the reviews about poor communication, they are just a busy shop and for a reason .They will get back to you and more so, they will be fair and honest, which is way more important than a call back in 15 mins Services: Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair

Dave and the team at Soneff's did great work on my Shelby Kit Car, put in power steering that even the kit maker did not know how to do. He is very detailed and knowledgeable, clear on the work that needs to be done and keeps costs in check. Thank you!

Soneff's is awesome! I tried calling shops all around Denver and everyone wanted to charge $100 + just to tell me what was wrong with my car. Soneff's was the only shop willing to tell me what was wrong without a fee and provided a very reasonable price for the fix. Dave specifically is amazing to work with!

Dave and the guys got my Audi sorted quickly and professionally. They were able to explain the faults, and how they would fix them. I would definitely recommend them!EDIT: I see another review here claiming that Soneff's don't work on Audis. Well I have about ten invoices from Soneff's for work on my Audi, so any such claim is false!

Live in the Detroit area and was looking at a vehicle in Denver, got a recommendation to use these guys for the pre-purchase inspection and couldn't be happier. Very professional, nice and the report I received was super detailed. Now I know everything that will need to be done to the vehicle and what could potentially need to be done to it. Would HIGHLY recommend them and assume that the rest of the services they offer are top notch.

Dave was so nice! I definitely recommend going to this garage. I needed the bulb of my headlight replaced, and I called several shops who claimed it would be upwards of $100 even though I already had the bulb. I always get nervous that I ll be taken advantage of, as a young girl, looking for auto work. But Dave replaced it, free of charge in 45 mins! Genuine, kind, & caring staff!

Let me start me start off by saying that it is incredibly hard to find a reputable, honest and genuine service shop for vehicles. Mechanics are mired with bad reputations and dishonesty and with good reason, simply because a substantial amount of them are. This ubiquitous experience seems to be shared from most of the people that I've talked to regarding finding servicers for their cars. Knowing this, I decided to look for a service shop based specifically on reputation and reviews. I started my search with that exclusively in mind and delayed repairs on my car specifically to do this. While reviewing shops in my immediate area I happened upon Soneff's Master Garage.When I took my vehicle in, the first person that I spoke with is Dave and he immediately set me at ease about some of the things I needed completed and was pretty shocked at how comfortable I was about his geniality regarding some of the questions that I had about cost, length of repairs and other expectations I had in mind. Given my previous experiences with other service shops, I felt like I would be one of their high maintenance customers (purposely) and that didn't seem to bother them at all. All of my questions were answered nicely and calmly and they went well out of their way to provide technical information about speculated root causes, their chain of troubleshooting they would like to do and what would be required. As a technical person I really appreciated this and they did not seem to trivialize or condescend this information.Throughout this entire process I feel like they went well above what was required to ensure that the expectations that they provided were actually met and the promises that were made would be delivered upon. The work was quality and timely. It was quite amazing to see how clean and orderly their shop was kept compared to some of the other shops that I reviewed. I will not be taking my car to any other service shops other than Soneffs Master Garage, I have more repairs to make and actually look forward to it. I can't recommend them highly enough to all my friends and those that are closest to me. It feels great to locate an honest and reputable service shop for my vehicle. Completely put any reservations about getting repairs done at ease. I hope it does for you too.Thanks again Dave & Soneffs!!!

This review is to provide a view into Soneff's classic car sales business:I recently explored purchasing a 1970 Plymouth Duster 340 in Lemon Twist. I had several conversations with Jay Soneff about the car and its condition. The only issue that he revealed to me was "driver-quality" paint, which was not a deal breaker. There was never any other mechanical or body issues revealed during several of our conversations.In an effort to move the purchase forward, I hired a local car inspector to validate this claim and paid a hefty price for this inspection. Sadly, the inspector reported engine oil leaks, excessive engine crank time, cylinder misfires, heavy use of body fillers, and body rust.I would be very careful when purchasing any car from this dealer, as Soneff's is likely misrepresenting the condition of their vehicles. Thankfully, the purchases inspection aided me in avoiding a poor investment, but I sill wasted a significant amount of money/time to identify information that should have been revealed by the seller in our "transparent" conversations.

Idk about the experience of purchasing a car with them, but I can commend them from their auto body work. They did an amazing job on the right side of my car (quarter and 2 door panels). I had to return my car for a lease and everything went smoothly!

These guys really know their stuff! I brought my 2001 4Runner in with a ton of rust under it and they were able to take care of it, no problem! So happy with the services they provide and wouldn't take my car anywhere else to have major things like that done!

I've had a lingering problem with my 2003 BMW 330xi, rough idling on start-up and "check engine" light. Soneff's got me in on short notice, evaluated the vehicle, completed the work the same day and my car is running better than it EVER has. Soneff's will be my go-to garage for this vehicle. I couldn't be more pleased with their service.
