My parents have used this place since they first moved to Platt Park in the early 80s. I used to take my first car here as a teenager and college student in the 90s. I recently moved back to Denver in 2019 and was looking for a reliable place to do repair work outside of dealer checkups and I was so glad to know they are still going! As other reviewers have said, I trust Sales and highly recommend for their honest and reliable service over decades. Thanks so much!

A hidden gem in Platt Park! Fair, honest and trustworthy. Excellent work. We've been taking our cars in for regular maintenance and the occasional mechanical hiccup since moving to the neighborhood. Don is always responsive and quick to help us out. We couldn't be happier with the experience all around.

A new alternator was put in by Don. This was my first time going there. He squeezed me in yesterday, put in a new alternator, and I picked it up in the afternoon.He was very reasonable.Don is the nicest person! My car is running so much better. I was referred to him by a woman on Nextdoor who s family has been going to him for 20 years. He will be my new mechanic.Service: Steering & suspension replacement

Don and family has our business, from our 1988 ford wheelchair van to our 1994 Chevy truck with 500,000 miles, and my wife's 94 ford explorer which has to be perfect. Don, Shawn are two of the best mechanics I have the pleasure to say are my friends/mechanics. My wife has put their business on the blog board at the hospital and a lot of her nurses, techs etc now use don exclusively for their vehicles, THANKS DON/SHAWN

Fair and honest pricing,Sales Oil has been in the same location since the 1930's.That speaks volumes about their success.Don operates with the highest integrity, in every aspect of his business. I have been trusting him to work on my vehicles, for a number of years now. And I send my friends there for all of their mechanical needs. There's a lovely nostalgic feel to the place, at least for an old neighborhood gas station, auto repair business.If he can't fix it, he'll tell you, he can't fix it. Don, thank you for all of your years of helping people in our community keep their rides tuned up! I have always appreciated your integrity and honesty. Your shop is really sentimental to many in the neighborhood. Everyone in my family still shares fond memories of you and Harold working together and with the neighbor's Golden Retriever who made it a point to hang out with you every single day for years. It was like having Click and Clack in our own neighborhood. Keep up all of your good work! I think everyone should appreciate small businesses like yours and I would encourage anyone to stop in and see for themselves how it feels to have a neighborhood mechanic who is honest and cares.

Very honest and very helpful. I personally take both of my vehicles to Don and my family also takes their vehicles here. Fair prices! You will not find a mechanic with more integrity than Don.
