Mike was nothing but honest and kind to me. He explained to me what was going on and in terms I could understand. He was patient, kind and didn t try to get me to pay more for things I didn t necessarily need. I would go to him again 10/10. I just traded my Subaru for a 4Runner and I am so sad to loose him as a mechanic. If you ve got a Subaru .go to Mike!!!!!!! I have nothing but excellent things to say about Mike!!!!!!

Since I started taking my car to Mike I won t go anywhere else. This guy KNOWS Subarus. I trust him to do good work and to do it at the best price. I don t ever feel like he s taking advantage of the fact that I m a woman who doesn t know cars; he doesn t try to upsell me and graciously answers all my questions.He uses spare parts when possible for repairs and stands by the work with a 6 month warranty.If you have a Subaru, bring it to Swings.

I don t understand how anyone could have a bad thing to say about S-Wing. Mike just spent hours with me and my partner and we spent no money at all. He is clearly a busy guy, but he spent so much time helping us understand what our options look like and how he runs things. No shady business tactics, no up-selling, and a thorough explanation for all our questions. Every customer we encountered while we were there had nothing but great things to say about their experience. The walls are full of thank you notes from very happy customers. Incredibly kind and knowledgeable folks, we can t wait to get our Subaru through them.

A "No-nonsense", "Stand-up"shop. Mike, Greg, and Seamus know their Subarus. Mike and the crew were very helpful in explaining what was going on with the car currently and what it will need in the future before approving repairs and gave me a great price, even less than anticipated. One thing to keep in mind before working with them is to PLAN AHEAD. They are very busy so if you know in advance what maintenance or work you need performed plan on calling a week or two before you want it done as they are in high demand due their quality of work. Arriving early as you can is the best plan, as parking is limited due to neighboring businesses and customers. They took care of my PCV, Trans, Power steering, and Alignment. Look forward to working with them when timing belt is ready and any other future routine maintenance.

The best in town. These guys are good. They're knowledgeable and kind. I've been to a lot of shops but the way s-wings treats their customers and explains what's going is unmatched. Mike was great.If you have a Subaru this is hands down your best option for Denver

I went to Mike to have a Subaru inspected prior to purchasing due to my previous Subaru being totaled in an accident, he was absolutely wonderful and did the inspection for free! There was a few things wrong with the car so we scheduled an apt for a few weeks out to get it repaired, came back and got everything repaired and he wrote part of one of the item labor fees off which was great, we also looked at one of the front ball joints as there s a noise coming from that area when turning in D or R, so we scheduled a few weeks out as he confirmed there was some wiggle in it. I came in yesterday morning for my appointment, only for him to tell me the ball joint fixed itself? Be freakin for real Mike, it still makes a noise when turning in D or R. He was so rude after I called him out for wasting my time as I work 14-16hr overnights and drove over three hours total with traffic to get to my appointment. I had an amazing first two times being here, but I will now be taking my Subaru somewhere else due to the rude customer service received from Mike. Hopefully your day is better than how you treat some of your return customers!add on from his reply: I did not drive across town, I drove all the way from Timnath area to Denver after a 14hr overnight for this apt only to be told nothing was wrong, after the fact of being told the ball joint needed to be replaced WHILE you had it in the air and stated it had wiggle in it and that it was causing the noise when being in D or R. Mike had an attitude the moment I said something about standing there for over 30mins while he helped everyone else that walked in after me, then he stated something about it not needing to be fixed?? Funny how that works Mike lol just another shop trying to take advantage of their customers

This is for everyone ...who needs a mechanic....especially a Subaru.....Mike is....GODSENT.....I researched alot of shops....all of them said I needed more work done than I really needed....Mike is my new mechanic...I will not need to call anyone else anymore....go check him out...he and his crew are the best !!!....thank you so much Mike....you are truly a blessed man

If you are looking for coffee, lattes, and a comfy couch, S- Wings is not the place for you. However, if you value great service, subaru knowledge and experience, come see Mike. There is a reason he has so many return customers.

Awesome family business. I have known mike and his family for about 20 years. When I was in need of a car I knew exactly where to go. I trust Mike and his team with all my heart. Don t not go here the service was okay over pricing and says we could bring our own parts but gets mad we tried getting our car serviced and he refused to work on it if you go here be careful I wish I could give no stars.

TL;DR This mechanic understands the value of treating customers well, and that's the most important quality in a mechanic in my opinion.I took my Subaru here for a pre-purchase inspection after just recently moving to Denver. I was not looking forward to finding a trustworthy mechanic in a large city. I called 3-4 different Subaru mechanics, but they were all short staffed and couldn't get me in until the following week. I was about to give up when I called S- wing, and they were able to get me in the same day. The wait to drop off the car was a little bit long, but only because the man at the counter was making sure another customer was ready for an upcoming DMV visit. I'll gladly wait a bit longer for a business that'll go out of its way to help its customers. They also have a lot of long-term customers, which is another good sign.The inspection itself was great. Very detailed and caught a few repairs for the dealer to make.It's clear these guys do something right. And while I hope I don't need to visit a mechanic for a bit, I'm glad I found these guys.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

Mike is hands down the most knowledgeable Subaru guy I've ever met. Super intelligent, and easy to communicate with. Like u can call him, explain a problem, and in a couple moments he knows what it is and gives you a solution. Best shop I've been to in a long time. Especially if you drive older Subarus like I do. Go anyware else at your own risk!!!!!

I had S-Wings give me a second opinion on "desperately needed" repairs which were quoted to me for upwards of $4000 from another Denver mechanic. Mike at S-Wings had the car lifted up and walked me through the entire list of "issues" and explained that exactly 0 of those "issues" actually needed addressing, including an "issue" concerning a part that my 2004 Legacy doesn't even have. He then charged me no money for this in-depth inspection, and had me on my way in under half an hour.Mike runs a shop with honesty and ethics. I won't take my Subaru anywhere else.

Mike and his crew are hands down the best Subaru mechanics in Colorado! I did a full year of research on mechanics. Their name popped up the most. And boy did they deliver. If you own a Subaru. No need to look any further. S-Wings is (by far) the best place for your Subaru.

The guy that runs this place is super rude. Hung up on me twice and wouldn't take the time to work with me for an outback crossbar that takes two minutes to remove off a junked car. Seemed he thought I was talking about a different part and wouldn't even have a conversation with me about it when I tried to explain... what a ****. I barely write reviews but this is unacceptable, never been treated like that before.

Have been going to Mike and his guys since 2011 or 12. He goes by the book and that has helped me maintain my 2005 Subaru with about 180k miles. You do this, this and this, and it will save you money and prolong the life of the car. Listen to Mike. He's really the best!

Mike and his wife and son have been incredible to me over the years. I looked for a good Subaru mechanic for years and finally found one that s not only honest and knowledgeable, but takes the time to educate me about my car. I can t tell you have many times at other shops the staff will see that I m a female and try to pull a fast one and convince me to pay for things that are unnecessary. I will only ever come to Mike and have purchased a great used car from him. Thanks guys!

By far the BEST experience I have ever had at an auto repair shop. Mike took the time to not only tell me what they found wrong with my Subaru, but to show me as well. He was transparent about cost, time, and future repair needs. I usually feel very vulnerable and taken advantage of in the realm of cars, but Mike countered this previous belief of mine with his honesty! I am so grateful that I finally found a shop that I feel comfortable and safe taking my car to. Thank you Mike and team!

Angels are real!! I called early am with my car issues, (I can t even wrap my head around what I ve been told recently on quotes-$5300 for catalytic converters by another Subaru motor expert.) Treated like gold from initial phone call and provided a massive amount of knowledge in not a motorhead terms of what it could be. Brought in for a diagnostic because I was weary of the $5300 quote I got from another company. Mike was so kind to help me and replace a couple quick fix parts and got me going and also- I didn t need that $5300 work as I was told. If it doesn t feel right- trust thy gut! What amazing service! Subaru experts since 1982. Forever a highly appreciative patron. Thank you so much!

I go to a near by business and this is a regular occurrence. They park on lots/spaces that arent theirs and take up obscene amounts of space that so many people could use. This lot DOES NOT belong to them, and im 100% sure this is not how to park a car. Owner is a jerk and completely oblivious to the fact that other people in this area exsist. Constantly rude and is always parking his junk cars off his property in obnoxious ways. Please dont support this buisnuss.

Mike and his crew (including his sons) are the best Subaru guys in Colorado. They are fair, reasonably priced and explain the work they are completing. They also complete the work very quickly so it's not a major inconvenience when something goes wrong. My Subaru is nearly 17 years old now and is still running strong thanks to these guys.

Mike is by the far the worst mechanic I have ever dealt with. My car has been shutting off while idling. The day after I had work done, it began stalling again. When I brought it back for reinspection, I was passed off like a nuisance . Treating people with respect is not rocket science. Dude needs his attitude fixed. It's not even the fact that my car isn't fixed, it's the way he handled it.Avoid this place. Waste of time and money.

After one of my brake lights went out I bought the new lights and attempted the fix myself but the old bulbs would not budge on their way out.I swung by S-wings today during a snowstorm 30 minutes before they closed and someone (who I can only assume is Mike based on the other reviews) helped out right away. The old lights put up a good fight but Mike entertained us with a few anecdotes as he eventually yanked both of them free over the course of 10 minutes.After he installed the new lights we asked him what we owed him but he refused and sent us on our way instead.It feels great to find such an honest shop here in town. I'll definitely take my Subaru here for anything else we need in the future!
