I am giving Dan at Grease Monkey on University a 5 star rating today, and I would do it again! I just want to say how trustworthy and knowledgeable Dan is. He has gone out of his way to help me on several occasions. He always takes good care of me and has extensive knowledge of all different car models, their maintenance, and repair options and techniques. Again, he is trustworthy and does not take advantage of me because I am a woman. I highly recommend him and his employees (Jared) to take awesome care of you. Thank You!!!!

My experience at this location was initially off putting. There was a gentleman who approached my car and questioned me as if I was loitering or something. I pulled up to an empty lot on a Sunday morning for an oil changed a the representative in a rude tone ask me what s up? I said hello and he once again what s upped me. It wasn t a hello, a how are you or how can I help you but a whats up as I m what are you doing here. When I told him I needed an oil change his tone changed and he said ooh, just pull in front of the garage. I was ready to drive away after that encounter, instead I blew it off. Once my service was completed a gentleman by the name of Eduardo approached me in very kind manner and was very thorough in explaining the service my vehicle had undergone and recommended vehicle services I might need next. In my opinion he saved me from writing a poor review. Overall my experience was made whole because of the level of service he showed. Not sure if I would return to this location again because of the first guy but I don t think the store deserves a failing score because of one person.

Went to store #26. My truck is on its last leg, but I don't need a truck payment so I just service! The management and employees are f��kin awesome! They don't try to sell you things you don't need! I will always come back! Appreciate hard work ethic cuz I'm a sparky! Know how it goes! Thanks for great work ethic and honesty for the most part! Great job! Thanks guys!

Amazing people working here. They took in my car for an oil change while it was snowy and cold outside. They addresses me by name and offered my hot cup of coffee during my wait. Would recommend anyone use Grease monkey for their Oil Change needs!

They were the best! The entire team was responsive when my daughter's car battery died. They were able to locate the correct battery and went above and beyond to get it installed for her. This is where she will go for all her automotive needs.

I've been coming to this location for 20 years plus. I have ALWAYS been taken care of and never had any issues. Every other GM I have tried has caused issues for me. They are the only ones I trust with my cars. So much so that I drive all the way from Fort Morgan just because I know they'll do it right and efficiently!! This place is great! I was in and out in 15 minutes. Most affordable oil change I've had in years. The staff was very nice and saved me a ton of money. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

The mechanics here are great. They re honest about what your car needs, and especially when it doesn t need something. A different shop said I needed my brake pads replaced immediately but the mechanic here let me know that they were still in good condition, and when I should come back to get them taken care of. Service was very quick even though they were busy and short staffed. They note everything on carfax so you can get a reminder for your next oil change. They also let you know when your next recommended maintenance item will be due.

If I could have given a zero, I would have given a zero they are so rude with their customer service. I was treated very very badly in addition to that I was through with disrespect and I will keep my friends away from coming here. I actually did decide to come in with a different carjust to see how they would treat somebody but because I came in with a bad car looking, they decided to go ahead and treat me differently than somebody who had much more nicer car. This is not right.

the Grease Monkey at 2459 S Univeraity Blvd.provides exceptionally good service. Austin, the mechanic who serviced my car, explained everything with patience, detail, and zero condescension to me as a woman who knows nothing about how my car works. Believe me, this is not the usual. He drew a picture to explain how the part that needed service functions. I tend to avoid getting service checks because it is typically an unpleasant experience but it was super easy at this Grease Monkey and that s where i ll go from now on.

I love this place. I send everyone I know here. They are efficient, reliable and honest. The manager is quick and to the point. They don t try to upsell you. They tell you what is coming due and what could/should be done. No pressure, straight forward.

Seriously such a great experience. I had been going to Jiffy Lube to get my oil changes and when I came to Denver I saw Grease Monkey was nearby so I decided to come here. Best decision. I still like Jiffy Lube, but I ll be coming to Grease Monkey from now on. They were able to tell me things about my car that I didn t even know I needed. It made me feel good. The staff was also excellent. Very nice group of men! I ll be seeing them again soon to get everything else I need done on my car! Highly recommend them! Especially for ladies. I know sometimes we feel weird being in these environments where it s mostly men but trust me, these are great guys.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

I'm lucky to live a block away from this garage. They're professional, honest, and straightforward. Austin helped me last week when I went for an oil change, and was the realest dude I could have hoped for. Honest, and responsive, calling me immediately when my work was done.He had my oil change done quick, but my old car needed some more work. He told me what it needed, what was covered, and gave me a discount on some routine maintenance.I've been going to this shop for five years and never had a bad experience there. They were great, no wait. Knowledgeable and friendly crew. They took great care of me, I had some odd issues that it wouldn t communicate with the emission testing equipment, so they checked that out for me and it passed. They went over everything they did, because as old as it was it was things did need to be done. I was impressed when they went over the receipt it was printed identifying which employee did what so there was accountability, that s awesome!!

The service here WAS exceptional at first. They greeted us in our car and asked what type of oil change we needed. While waiting for the oil change, we expected to hear about filter changes, wiper blades, etc. We didn't expect hard pressure sales. This was our first time here and we mentioned we had a second car we would be bringing in. After we said no to the expensive cabin filter and wiper blade replacements, the courtesy and customer service declined. We had a coin wallet with some quarters and car wash tokens in it. After getting our car back, the coin wallet was opened and spilled inside our glove compartment. The zipper was also broken. There wasn't a high value so we weren't worried to leave it. But to know it was in the glove box where they took everything out (and left it a mess) and looked inside the wallet is concerning. We won't be taking our second car here and won't be back with our first.

Ive been coming here for o er 15 years. Always satisfied. If my washer fluid or radiator need toppong off between oil changes, no problem and no charge.

This is by far my favorite Grease Monkey location! The owner is super helpful and doesn t try to oversell you on filters, just what you need. Always speedy service, even when they have lines of cars. They have discount days for students and are very conveniently located. They ll top you off for free halfway between your oil change visits. Hard not to go here!

*****UPDATE****I have come back to this location for an oil change. I think Dan may be from somewhere that s just more fast paced and direct, vs me being from Atlanta where everyone s soft and easy going.He gets the information out and just wants the information in, I thought he was rude over the phone but in person he s extremely helpful and knows his info. So I really think an environment thing.With this I WILL be coming back all the time. He also has a guy austin working with him, who is super smart, super visual, and is telling me every thing I need to know ever.*****I RECOMMENDRock chip filling went great. Dan should not be answering the phones. Rude beyond measure. Decided not to come back for an oil change because of him. Will take my business somewhere else that cost the same with better CS.
