These people are life savers! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My radiator cracked in my 2015 Jeep Cherokee. The first shop I took it to tried to charge me $2,200 for the parts and labor. Gold Star only charged me $750. They immediately got me in and made sure my car was done before my road trip a few days later. They actually finished my car earlier than they told me! This is a family owned shop. They are extremely nice and honest people. Don't go anywhere else! Go here!

called to get a quote on having a motorcycle tank repaired and they said they'd have to see it to give me a quote, I told him I'd be there after 4:00. Left work early and got there at 4:30 and nobody was there, but they say they're open till 5:00.

Great job. The mechanic from another company said it was leaking and needed to be repaired, but he said there was no leak and it was working fine. He didn't charge me. I trust him.

Ed & Junior always do an exceptional job on whatever repair I get. I would most definitely recommend them to anyone.

Excellent service! No other shop in Denver would or could repair my Kubota generator radiator. The aluminum fins are very thin and I had made quite a mess with a previous attempted repair. Edward, the owner, made the repair within 24 hours and did a tremendous job. A new radiator would have cost me about $2,200 - Ed did the job quick for less than $200. I received the repaired and pressure-tested radiator, freshly painted and looking like new in not time at all. Thanks, Ed and your crew - amazing work!

Solid, trustworthy, genuine, fair! I have come to Goldstar several times over the last couple years after being referred by a friend (who also loves them). They have always done great work in a super timely manner. It s hard to find mechanics you trust, but they are really great guys and have always treated me so kindly! Would highly recommend!

In 2021, we had our radiator replaced by Gold Star with an assurance of a lifetime warranty. In 2022, we had a small plug/screw that had come out of our radiator. We were having issues and losing power as we were driving our vehicle, and basically the plug/screw just fell out when we were looking into what was going on. After going into the store, and discussing with the older gentleman, he told us he can't replace it under warranty and he didn't have the part. He instructed us to go to Ace and then bring back some sort of part and he "might" be able to take a look at it, he did not assure us that it was covered under warranty. Then he also said that this dislodged cap was caused by "diesel vibrations" and would not be covered under the lifetime warranty...Fast forward a few days, after the owners poor attitude about honoring his warranty and our inability to get it towed to multiple shops, we took the vehicle to a different radiator shop. Where we found that the radiator that was installed by Gold Star is literally FALLING apart.1) This business will NOT honor their warranty on any parts of the radiator install, or seemingly the radiator itself2) There is speculation from the new repair shop that Gold Star installed a USED radiator in our car when we purchased a new radiator - this is because there is writing on the radiator that you usually find after resale.3) After only a year, the radiator is actually falling apart. The top of it has separated from the bottom of it and requires us to replace it.So, with that, I suggest you don't waste your money here and stay far away from this business

took my 03 Santa fe there, to have a radiator replaced a/c was working when I took it in and the oil dipstick was in good shape. got it home and looked at the dipstick was broken. took it out today and tried to run the AC, nothing but hot air, upon closer inspection the AC condenser is bent the bend going twords the front of the vehicle! do not go here unless you want your car destroyed.

Really kind people - I was in a tough spot and they did a diagnostic for me and topped off my oil and coolant - all without charging. They seem like really good folks and if I was in town any longer I would definitely have had them do the service that the car needed.

I called Gold Star Radiator based on reviews that I read. I did not have an appointment but Mr Martinez was able to pressure check my trucks coolant system and found the leak while I waited. Then he was able to locate the part that only comes from Dodge and repaired the problem before the end of the day.A very big Thank You to Mr. Martinez. I will recommend them to all of my coworkers!

Takes too long, charges too much, rejects written instructions, then doesn't follow verbals, drag scratches, but good welds-who can't lay down a nice bead after years of experience? Won't drill anything.

My favorite car place in Denver! I am so grateful for being recommended to them. I won't go anywhere else. They always work with me and have a quick turnaround. Also, very affordable compared to the many other car places that are so overly priced. Thank you Gold Star!

The only reasonably priced shop in the area. The tow, parts, and labor were less than Pep bro's labor alone. Give them a try.

I'm so happy that I ended up going to Gold Star Radiator. I had a cracked radiator on my 03 VW Golf that need to be prepared before a long distance move. I brought my car in and it turned out that there were other problems with my fan, spark plugs, etc. Ed went beyond and above to make sure my car was in good shape and safe to drive before I left. I'm forever grateful to Ed and that I went here. Good man, good price.

I brought my rebuilt 68 Chevelle here after I spotted a leaky radiator. Within 24 hours she had a bran new high performance radiator and was buttoned back up nicely. When I brought her home I noticed a new "dent" in the rear of the car. Now this car is nearly a show car so I called up Gold Star and explained that I thought the dent happened at the radiator shop. The shop owner was calm, collected, polite, and respectfully asked me to bring the car in so he could look. When I brought the car in, he very cordially came to check it out. He helped me to see that the paint wasn't damaged and that the dent was actually caused by a bolt that was too tight behind the paneling. Thermal contraction of the car in the cold turned out to be to blame. So not only did I get a new radiator, but I learned something new about my baby. The thing about this experience was how the shop owner conducted himself. He clearly had respect for my awesome car and more importantly, for me.Thanks!

I am not sure about all the complaints are on here, but I have had nothing but the best service from this shop. I had a Jeep that started to leak and shopped around. everyone was quoting 600-700 dollars. Of course I freaked out. I thought maybe I could do it myself and called the radiator store and they recommended Gold Star to me. I couldn't be more happy. Not only is the radiator new, but they did it for WAY less than the other shops. When one of the hoses split (defective hose) they replaced it for free. The shop is a true mechanic shop. There are no flowers and rainbows when you walk in, it smells like grease and you see grease. I am okay with that. To me it means they don't waste time putzing around trying to make a lobby, they just get down to business so I can get my car back quickly.

This place is run by clowns, and their incompetence will cost you time and money. This is a father and son operation, and it's pretty loose. First off, if you visit the shop, you'll be surprised at how run-down it is: dirty, unsanitary, neglected, car parts strewn all over the place, some sort of engine fluid leaking from a puddly at the back of the shop and into the street... Busted bicycle frames and broken cars (probably sitting still for decades) litter the back parking lot. It's a dump.I got an estimate for a car repair, and was told that the part would be ordered the next day. About four days later, I called to check on the part (I hadn't heard from them). Ed (or Ed, Jr.?) told me that the parts wouldn't be in for another week, and that he'd call me right back. He never called. I called the next day, talked to the other Ed. He said the parts never arrived, but that he'd check on them and call me right back. He never called. A week went by -- and the car rentals were starting to cost me a fortune by this time...). I called again. Same story: the parts still hadn't arrived. Each time I called, I was referred to as "buddy" or "pal" or "guy" or "bro." These guys are unprofessional. They didn't care that the parts weren't in the shop, and treated me like I was an inconvenience.Truth is, THEY were the inconvenience, and I took my business elsewhere -- after wasting time and money waiting for these clowns to get their act together so I could patronize their business. Good bye, Gold Star!

A few weeks ago as I left my house I saw my car was leaking coolant. My heart sank as I was on my way to work and it was almost the weekend, and I had to work over the weekend.I started calling shops and no one could even get me in for an estimate until the next week. The last shop I called suggested I call ED at Gold Star Radiator.I called Ed, he answered and told me to come right away. I did and he diagnosed and fixed it by the next day! The part the car needed was challenging to find but ED made the effort to get it right away. He really went above and beyond!!! I could not believe it!Back on the road and no leak! Yeah! I would very much recommend ED and Gold Star Radiator.

This is our new go-to place for car repairs! Junior not only diagnosed my leaking radiator, he let me see with my own eyes the evidence of the leak rather than just have me take him on his word. His cost to replace the radiator was less than half what the dealer was trying to charge my wife, and the car was ready to pick up the next day. If you need car repairs, Gold Star will treat you right!!

I just got off the phone with some guy at this business. He didn't seem at all concerned with my overheating issue. Told me to take it in, but didn't bother to mention diagnosis fees. Gold Star seems like a rip off shop. I wouldn't get work done there!

had them do a radiator for me and was pleased on face value. Six months later the radiator cracked with no head gasket failure or contributing factors. Took back in to be warrantied and ran into a remarkably rude staff member who told me to come back without even looking at the radiator. Eventually had the manager take care of it, but slightly cheaper price point is not worth having to go through the entire process.

BEWARE of this business!I had a Land Rover that was over heating so I took my radiator to this shop to rebuild it. They told me they rebuilt it and I put the radiator back in the truck and it still over heated. We decided that maybe the engine was bad due to a crack in the block. The new engine overheated as well so I bought another engine and it did the same. Finally I took the radiator back out and took it to another shop. They pulled the radiator apart and had me come down to look at it. The fact was that the radiator had never been rebuilt and still had factory welds proving that this shop lied and did not due the work they billed for. This shop cost me thousands on new engines and installations because they lied about doing the work on a piddly $125.00 radiator rebuild. How unethical! BEWARE!!!!!!!
