Easiest oil change ever. Took a short amount of time, didn't try to upsell me anything, just changed my oil and called it a day. Easy price too and apparently I don't need it changed for 6 months. Way way better than grease monkey. They even washed my windows and helped with my tire pressure and made my car smell nice.Definitely my new oil change place.

This place was great! Got my car checked out, they figured out the problem, and I didn't feel pressured into anything I wasn't prepared for! And they were able to fix my problem in one day! Will definitely use them again in the future. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you

My elderly folks told me how kind this shop was to them whenever they needed help. I bright my car in for repairs and not only did Jonathan communicate with me during the day. He was finished with the whole job right before Thanksgiving. Appreciate you all and will be back when the next thing goes crazy with my car. Thank you!

Dave was recommended by a friend who lives in the neighborhood. I came here for an oil change. I called on a Monday and made an appointment for Friday. Easy, efficient process and friendly staff. They called me when it was ready. I dropped it off before work and picked it up after. I felt the price was fair especially given the location. I asked for an estimate and it ended up being within the range I was given which I appreciated. Highly recommend.Service: Oil change

Dave and co have been working on my cars for 10+ years. I live in East Aurora and I ll make the 45 minute drive one way for the peace of mind knowing he s the best. Honest and trustworthy. The only shop I ll take my cars to!

My Jeep has seen many different mechanics in the last year and to say this was the best experience is an understatement. It s a small shop but they get the work done quickly and thoroughly and for a great price! Will be back soon for a tune up!

I have been going here for about 5 years for my Mazda 3s and Toyota Rav4 for routine oil changes and other issues that come up like AC repair etc. Dave and crew (Jonathan and David? I believe) do excellent work, are transparent about cost, alert me at each oil change about the general health of the vehicle and if there's anything I should get fixed. They have accurately diagnosed problems with my vehicles and have helped me decide which repairs are really necessary and which ones I can wait on. They are very quick and usually able to schedule me in within the day or a few days out. They are friendly, professional, honest, and prompt. Glad to have them in the neighborhood!

$1200 mistake! These guys are NOT trustworthy; they WILL scam and lie to you at every turn. I took my van in for a presale inspection. They were "not able to complete it", so ended up keeping my van for 5 whole days to drum up additional charges. Through 20+ phone conversations over those 5 days, I approved an oil change, AC recharge and one taillight fix - estimated at "a few hundred bucks all in with the investigation".... Upon picking up my van, I learn that the AC unit has NOT been fixed, there are additional lighting issues they didn't even bother to mention nor fix, and they outright refused to hand over the inspection report (but they billed me for it). Despite charging me, I don't believe they completed any inspection whatsoever (the only reason I brought the van in), and so documented nothing. So for something that should've taken an afternoon and a few hundred bucks, I lost 5 days, $1200, got close to nothing fixed or done (what was done I cannot trust), and don't even have the documentation to take to a reliable mechanic. I'm out $1200 and week but back at square zero needing to find a trustworthy mechanic for an inspection. What an enormous waste of time and money! Do NOT give these guys any of your business- you will regret it!Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Battery, Oil change

I went to 8th Avenue Conoco based on a recommendation from a friend whose family has been going to Dave for years. I was impressed with the honesty and transparency while discussing the condition of the brakes on my car. I dropped my car off at 11am, recieved a call at 1pm to update me, and picked up my fixed car at 4pm on the same day. I paid a fair price for the work that was done. My impression was that Dave and David are honest and hard-working. I will return if I have any future car issues, and would recommend their service!

Have a pretty old car, manual transmission. Dave and his guys were able to locate a hard to find part for me, get it shipped in and replaced in a jiffy. Solid work, good price. Trustworthy shop. Recommend.

These guys are the real deal! That classic, super honest, neighborhood mechanic. They re awesome about honoring appointments, and will go the extra mile to help you out. I took my car in with a suspension issue, the appointment was at 8 AM and they called me by 9 AM to tell me what was needed (struts). Had the car done by noon. We also went there when we were shopping for a used car for my mom, and Dave examined two cars for us in the same day without an appointment. Gave us a bunch of great advice and really helped us steer clear of a bad purchase. So glad they are in the neighborhood!

Highly recommended The Subaru dealer quoted me over $1000 to do basic maintenance work that 8th Ave Conoco did for under $100. And I can walk there to pick up my car- not so much with the Subaru dealer in the burbs.

Brought my car in because I was going on a road trip. Asked them to do whatever they needed to do to have it in tip top condition. They didn t fix (or mention) the broken horn or tail light and a week later my maintenance required light came on.Also neither of their mechanics wore a mask inside the office even though there was a city-wide mask mandate.

Great mechanic! I've been bringing my car here for oil changes and the service is quick, fair and friendly. When ever I have questions about other concerns they have given me reliable answers and service, and as a female that trustworthiness is priceless.

Jekyll and Hyde - Last year, after reading many positive reviews, I decided to take my car in for some work. I had $1400 worth of repairs done. Dave seemed like a nice guy and I was pleased with the quality of the work. I thought I had found a mechanic I could use for years.Last week I had a tire blow out while driving down the highway. The tread flew off forcefully enough that it pulled the left side of the front bumper off. It also pulled a bundle of wires down from the wheel well and stripped the cover off parts of the bundle. I called a tow truck and then called Dave. I explained what happened and asked if I could have it towed to his shop to check things out and make sure nothing else was damaged. He said no problem; he'd take a look at it. That was Dr. Jekyll.Later the next day I called and asked if they'd had a chance to look at my car. Dave's attitude was incredibly rude. This was Mr. Hyde. He claimed he had no idea what needed to be done to the car. I explained again what happened with the blowout and the concern with damage to the bumper and wires. After a minute of back and forth with Dave, I suggested I have the car towed somewhere else if he couldn't do the work. His attitude softened somewhat. We agreed at the very least he would put the spare tire on.When I arrived to pick it up the next day, the tire had been changed and the wire bundle had been zip tied back up in the wheel well. The bumper and license plate were still hanging. I paid my bill and then had to ask him if he could secure the bumper. He zip tied it and I was on my way. I found out later from a mechanic at Discount Tire that the wiring for the left turn signal was unplugged. He took care of it for me.I can't explain the night and day difference between my two experiences. Needless to say, I'm looking for a new mechanic.

We have worked with Dave for years and the entire crew is fantastic! No matter what you need this shop will give you complete honesty and quality craftsmanship.When we our car to 8th Ave Conoco, we got a quick, honest diagnosis, and only paid 1/10th of what the stealership was charging. We've had the shop replace tires, do oil changes, brakes, and misc inspections all at a more than reasonable price. In fact, the prices are so fair, I tend to feel the need to give a tip for the speed and quality of service.If I could rate this business 10 stars, I would! You guys ROCK!!!

Really great neighborhood auto repair shop. The technicians are so professional and helpful. They take the time to actually explain whats going on with your car and are very honest. I've been visiting this place for 6 years and never take my car anywhere else.

This place cost me 500$ in the last week to do absolutely nothing to my vehicle. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else and be careful to check all the bad reviews here for the same story.

Superior service. Took my vehicle down there for a check engine light and they adresssed the issue in a timely and cost efficient matter. They're customer service was phenomenal!!! I wasn't able to retrieve my vehicle right away and they were ok with it staying there. Most places would charge you per day or even tow your vehicle if you didn't retrive it that day. I will recommend this to everyone. They're speciality is older model vehicles..

I believe I was speaking to the manager of the shop... a little older... anyways very rude. Kept asking if I had to go to the bathroom when I was trying to ask questions about my car.... as if he was trying to push me to the side... said what needed to be done was going to be 300$+, I found someone from another shop who quoted me HONESTLY and ended up only paying 130$ to fix my car.....

THE GREATEST TIRE AND LUBE SHOP AROUND!! They really know what they're talking about. Frank was able to help me with a problem on my car that five other places couldn't figure out. Dave is the back bone to the place though. Fast, Friendly, and gets the job done right the first time. You can count on 8th ave conoco for your next car troubles
