Great guys. They balanced my 08' X5 driveshaft while I waited. They are the only guys in Colorado that I found that could do it. Would definitely recommend.

CO Drive Shaft is a locally owned family business that deals in top quality parts and service. David, the owner, has been in business for over 20 years (if memory serves). I called looking to see how much repairing my factory drive shaft would run vs having a shaft made for my modified rig. It was clear right off the bat that he knew what he was about. I ended up going with a custom front shaft, and after receiving it, immediately had him make one for my rear. The quality is top notch. I drive a modified jeep and was initially looking to buy some after market shafts from some of the big name companies often associated with off roading but am extremely happy I didn't.His prices where comprable to online, and other local shops. Turn around time was also very impressive, he mentioned he was very busy but still got my shaft done in 2 days. My rear shaft was no rush and I even said as much, my factory one was fine, but he still had that one done in under a week.They work on all types of drive shafts, if another company won't touch yours, call David. I have a 1995 Volvo 960 that had bad vibration I needed a CV joint on the drive shaft know one close to me could help Colorado drive shaft knew the part I needed fast shipping exact fit fixed the problem I would recommend them to anyone thanks againRickey

I came down from Steamboat to buy a truck. The seller promised the four wheel drive worked, but the front drive shaft had been removed to repair a u joint. I called Colorado drive Shaft and they squeezed me in with no notification to rebuild the drive shaft. They even helped me find a shop to install the newly rebuilt drive shaft the same day. I was stoked to find out that once the new driveshaft was installed that the four wheel drive worked on my new truck. Great service and integrity from Colorado Drive Shaft!

Not only did they address the issue, they were great to talk to. The 3rd Gen Ram 1500's front drive shaft has a CV joint instead of a Ujoint. They converted it to a Ujoint for better reliability. Pricing was $100 cheaper than auto zone, Advanced, or ORileys. Installed shaft in 20 mins. Works great. Good job Gents. Will be coming back for any Driveshaft needs!

I used to trash my front drive shaft far too often in my ram diesel. These guys made me a custom front drive shaft that has lasted a very long while (and counting) Completely justifying the extra cost for the upgraded shaft. Wonderful people selling great products. Thanks guys!

Wow! I can t believe the incredibly professional job they did on the driveshaft for my 1960 Bel air, my driveshaft was completely covered in dirt from 20 plus years of sitting low from being in the same patch of mud, i have pictures of what It looked like before I handed it over, they went above and beyond, restored, greased, balanced, removed all the rust and smoothed down the metal, amazing job well done turned in Friday done by Monday before lunch

Talking to these guys was a terrific experience, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Called up inquiring about a Subaru drive shaft, sure enough they had it in stock ready to go, and it was on the doorstep before noon the next day. Return packing slip attached to the driveshaft with the receipt, these guys made it too easy. I would especially recommended them to anyone in the Colorado region! Amazing people to work with at an all time price!

Balanced the front driveshaft on my 4x4 truck. Balanced it on a Saturday, it was quick and professional and only took 45min. Even cleaned the extra Old grease out of my slip joint. Will definitely go back the next time I need a drive shaft balanced.

These guys are amazing, they fixed my drive shaft perfectly and gave me a great price. They are a bit busy so they told me it would take a couple days and called me earlier than expected to pick it up. Highly recommend

After trying to replace the u-joints in my 95 Chevy S10 and failing, I needed to replace the original aluminum drive shaft. These guys made me a NEW steel drive shaft in about 3 hours. I took it home with new u-joints already pressed in and was able to install the drive shaft in 10 minutes with no complications and it was perfectly balanced and fit perfectly in place. The craftsmanship is of the best quality and I doubt that I will ever need to replace this new steel drive shaft. the price was lower than I expected and the service was what I would expect from a shop in the 50s (supurb). Won't be going anywhere else for my drive shaft and u-joints needs. I'm a loyal customer for life now.

Purchased a remanufactured drive shaft for my 2005 Porsche Cayenne Turbo from David at Colorado Drive Shaft. At first I was a little surprised that you can t order from the website (you must call direct to the shop to place orders) but afterwards I was very glad this is how orders are placed. I got to speak with a very knowledgeable and friendly person (David) who gave me some extremely useful tips for installing the drive shaft myself. It went on without any problems, and the remanufactured parts are all German and of high quality so everything fit right and the alignment was perfect. I read on the forums plenty of stories of cheaper, new drive shafts (mostly made in china) that didn t fit and/or had vibration issues after the install. No vibrations or mystery squeaks after my install! Plus it s a quarter of the price of a new Porsche part with the same weaknesses. Highly recommend.***Update 18 months later*** Drive shaft is still holding up well with no vibration whatsoever.

Nice guys. Showed me the fitment compared to my old drive shaft. Rebuild quality is really good, looks basically new. Would recommend for anyone who owns a Volvo. They had my exact make and model driveshaft in stock and ready to go.

This place is amazing! They are very honest and knowledgeable. They don't try to repair/replace things that don't need it like other shops I've dealt with. I brought my driveshaft in last week expecting to pay for a balance. Instead, Dave immediately noticed I had the wrong U-joint on it and just charged me for a new one. He gave me very helpful instructions for how to put the driveshaft back in and I'm back on the road with no problems whatsoever! I'll never go to anyone else but them!

This place built me a new driveshaft for my 1974 hotrod furyroad Camaro. Built a little over 2 years ago. But I drive my vehicle like mad I have no overdrive so the shaft spins hard as the car is geared low. The shaft held up good. And I'm going back today to have it rebuilt.

Dave was wonderful to deal with and he rebuilt the front driveshaft for my AWD Toyota Previa which had worn out staked U-joints. He communicated with me on what needed to be replaced and turned the project around in a very timely and reasonable manner.I highly recommend Colorado Drive Shaft it should be your first and only stop if you require drive shaft services.

Dave shipped me a driveshaft for my 06 Subaru outback after the Chinese one I ordered on Rockauto didn't fit. The new refurbished shaft is OEM spec and fit perfectly. Car runs smooth now. Highly recommend these guys.

These guys are awesome! My u joint exploded at 75mph and took out the 4 bolt flange to the t-case. I need one asap so I wasn't driving in 4wd (front tires only) and they had it, they even added the last u joint for me and greased it. Dealer wanted almost 5 times the amount and sure wouldn't of helped me get back on the road so soon. Thanks so much!!!

Sent in my Frankenstein driveshaft with a 1986 535is front and a 1989 325i rear to be mated, shortened, and balanced. Very fair pricing, and Dave was helpful and knowledgeable. He was willing to work with me. I highly recommend this shop if you want your custom driveshaft done right.

Love this place! They won't work on your vehicle, but the provided me the tools I needed, to pull my driveline. I pulled it in their parking lot, brought it inside to them, and they had my old u-joints out, and new ones in in less than 10 minutes. Small shop, with the "old school" atmosphere. Very knowledgeable guys! Definitely save my day today! Very reasonably priced as well. 5 stars, I will bring all my driveline work to them from now on. I highly recommend them!

A great experience! My options were $1.1k for a new drive shaft or a used drive shaft for approximately the same cost as a refurbished unit from CDS. A simple $100 core charge and paid shipping both ways is tremendous. Between an email and a quick phone call the guys were knowledgable and helpful which gave me the confidence to purchase a refurb unit. Unit arrived as planned. The guy who takes care of my 2002 Passat 4-Motion said the install was flawless and he was impressed with the remanufactured unit quality, (VW, Audio, Porsche private shop). I drove the car the next day after the install, 300 miles from home, 5 days later the same distance back home; the vibration was eliminated and the feel was tight again. I like my car, I had purchased it brand new and I do all routine maintenance; it has 250K miles on it and I hoping for another 50-100k if possible. I would recommend CDS to anyone who wants to keep their car running well. If you have any hesitation, give them a call and speak with them. They are the type of folks I like doing business with and would trust again without question.
