Update: I did have a previous crack in my windshield, if you zoom in on the picture you can see it on the bottom right, you can also see that it has no connection to the large crack across the entire windshield. I was not offered a claim for my insurance, I was told I could be connected to your windshield guy. I waited at the shop for 10+ minutes for him to respond, I eventually left because I didn t have time to wait any longer. I would love to see the pictures that claim to show the crack was there when I dropped off my car. I know for a fact that is false.My car was with Champa for 2 months to fix a rear bumper. They gave me a completion date, but kept pushing back the date by a week. No one called to let me know, when I did call - the employees couldn t tell me what was causing the delay. When I finally received my car, there was a huge crack across my windshield. This wasn t there prior and occurred in their possession, they told me there was nothing they could do about it. I would save yourself the headache and find a better shop to take your car.

This is our go-to auto shop in Denver. Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, fast, and cost-effective! My car was in a collision earlier this year and I was very frustrated with the services I was being offered elsewhere (or lack thereof) but Champa took care of me and kept me informed each step of the way. Later, I came back in for an alignment, tires, and some other fixes. They got me in next-day, and my car was ready in around 48 hours! If you need reliable auto work from actual human beings who want to help you, this is the place to go!

Champa Auto Repair & Collision keeps an eye out for my safety and well-being by telling me exactly what repairs my car needs. Moe helps me prioritize what repairs are absolutely necessary and what I can afford, not leaving me with a giant bill I can t afford. Iliana was always very helpful and pleasant to talk to as well! I m grateful to have this great, neighborhood mechanic that I trust with my car repairs.

Mata's has become my "go-to" place, not only for transmission service, but also for oil service.I worked as a mechanic while in college and law school, and until the past few years, I've done most of my own maintenence and repairs on our four vehicles. Now that I'm in late 70s, though, I prefer to have someone else do it. But at least my background helps me to know if someone is recommending unnecessary services. Mata's has done a great job. Ivan not only hasn't tried to sell me services, but he has also twice advised me when a service I myself have requested is not needed.

Went to Champa Auto and they had such a friendly staff. I didn t even feel like I was at a mechanic shop. Mario had kept in touch with me through my whole repair!!! He was willing to send me pictures. This is a great place to get your car worked on . Mario s customer service is out of this world and I will be coming back for any repairs I need and will be telling as many people as I can!!!! Thank you guys so much!!!! Cheers!!

Very poor communication. After asking several times to wait until insurance accepted the repair amount, i was assured the repair would get done and i wouldn't pay more then my deductible. Repair was done without the adjustments for the repair accepted by my insurance. When i was shown the finished repair (a new bumper and rear door panel) i realized you could not open the rear door with forcing it. On top of that i noticed my driver window crank knob was gone. When i brought this up to the technician who worked on my car, he said he wasn't sure about the window but it must have come off when driving to or from their other shop. He said the door latch would be an easy repair and they would fix the window knob as well. I was able to take my car while they waited on insurance to accept further repair cost. Never heard back from Champa. When i reached out they said insurance did not accept the adjustment and they would not complete the repair unless i paid out of pocket. I asked for an estimate on the repair. Have yet to hear back from Champa. This was a few weeks ago so doubt i will ever hear back. Now i am stuck with a door that needs a repair and a window crank that needs a repair. I would like to think they cared about my situation being they helped me get my vehicle back in a timely manner. But that was when they were getting paid by my insurance. After the adjustment was denied i was ghosted until i reached out. I wouldn't expect a shop to do work for free but there were multiple opportunities to avoid leaving me in the situation i am in. Will not be going back to Champ Auto repair and Collision Center.

My experience with Champa Auto Repair & Collision Center has been disappointment after disappointment. I believe the high rating on google to be very misleading for the collision center. Based on my personal experience and what I have heard from my insurance company, I would avoid use for any collision needs.After a hit-and-run, I needed a bit of work on my vehicle. This was in 2022 and there were delays in parts, yet the customer care during this time was very poor. After the 5 months they had my vehicle, I went to pick it up. While I was there, I witnessed a worker speaking aggressively at another couple who was there to pick up their vehicle but were disappointed in the "completed" work. While observing my car, I noticed black specks of paint on the hood of my silver car. When pointing this out, I was lied to and made to feel belittled. I let this go because I wanted a functioning vehicle.Upon receiving the car, there were aspects that were not working, Blind spot detection and eyesight assist. Additionally, the paint was flaking and bubbling up, and there were parts around the tire and rear gate that were falling off.I was told to take it to the dealership to have them calibrate it and have insurance pay for it. Insurance refused because they had already paid Champa for this work that was not done.When the dealership looked at it they said it was not that it just needed to be calibrated. Champa took it back for 2 weeks in December 22 where there were some additional fixes to the paint job, and other falling off parts.Most recently, I took it into the dealership for an oil change and tire rotation. While there, I asked about how I can get the blind spot detection working again. They did a diagnostic on the vehicle and found wires poorly connected together with electrical tape. Both the dealership and insurance could not believe that Champa would let this leave the shop in this state.I've been scared to write this review because of how I've been treated by them, and I knew that this car still needed things to be done from Champa.At this point, I will be most likely paying out of pocket for the parts and repairs for my car and avoiding Champa.In an effort to leave a fair an honest review- Mandi did take $500 off of my deductible- I enjoyed my interactions with Nick, who I believe has since left- I could have acted in a more timely matter, I just found myself overwhelmed

I have used Champa Auto Repair twice now and have had the best service I have ever received from an auto repair shop. Mario and the rest of the team are true professionals that take their work seriously while also ensuring they keep cost down for the customer. I can t say enough good things about them. I had a great experience with Champa auto. Iliana promised my car would be done by a certain date and they delivered despite delays due to Progressive not being prompt on their end. When they received approval to go ahead with repairs it was done within 3 days! Thanks to Iliana s amazing communication and dedication to having my car being completed I will be able to make it home to be with my family for the holidays. I highly recommend Champa Auto.

One of their mechanics misquoted a bid for extra work and the owner went after me when I contested the price.The mechanic quoted extra work, and I gave verbal approval not knowing he didn't quote the labor cost. When I brought this up with the owner, he threatened me with more charges after I questioned his basic math skills, cussed me out, then stormed out of his own business... it added on to the embarrassment when his employees behind the counter were apologizing for his behavior-- I guess this happens often?Please get a written quote in the state of Colorado from mechanics that you can review and sign. I made this mistake, and this business would not think to perform otherwise.It is really sad to see a local owner not value reputation nor quality of work, and I really hope he can learn to interact with his customers in the future.

Went in for a dead battery, and they called me up with $1700 worth of work they told me I needed to get done (and they don t do payment plans). I respectfully told him I couldn t afford to do all of these things at once and that I would start by just getting the battery replaced ($300). My vehicle didn t have any other noticeable issues before taking it in, and now: the check engine light is on, my cruise control doesn t work, and neither does X-mode (I have a Subaru). The team was nice but can you blame me for being weary to come back?Service: Auto battery replacement

I took my car into Champa after being rear ended. They replaced my bumper in a timely manner, any hold-ups were because of my insurance company. Everyone was pleasant to work with, car looks great, no complaints here.

We got treated fairly when our daughter hit debris on the highway that put a hole in the oil pan and the vehicle had to be salvaged. Progressive insurance on the other hand? Not so much. Don't choose Progressive as your insurance carrier.

This is 100% going to be my go-to auto repair shop in the future. I was rear-ended about a month and a half ago and didn't realize the extent of the damage initially and I was originally quoted $200 for repairs by the insurance company. I had brought my car to Champa Auto and Ali took care of getting the rental set up, found all of the issues that came from the accident (over $7,000 in damage), and dealt with the insurance company for me with absolutely no stress or worry on my part. Ali and his team made my car look and run better than before. Would definitely recommend bringing your car here for any body or mechanical issues.

Attempts to get a quote from this place has been a joke to say the least. No in person estimates (which is fine). Please improve you email communication with your potential customers. Sent pictures of the car, vin, year, make, model. And no replies or updates. It's been 10 days of waiting

The entire team here is great! Mo is a great guy, and he does quality work. I needed a big repair and was unable to pay in full, he was understanding and worked with me on payments. This shop has a big heart, and they truly take care of their customers like family. Regardless of the repairs needed, they always do a 10/10 job. We brought out car in for A/C repairs based off the information we were given by another mechanic, only to find out additional repairs were needed. Not only did this place get the work done quickly but they gave us prices that beat any other shop. They were polite, understanding and cared about our situation. Moe was awesome. High marks across the board! A drunk driver rammed into my driver's side door (luckily my car was parked, no injuries) - brought my vehicle here on the recommendation of the insurance adjustor, and they did not steer me wrong (bad pun, I know). Ali was fantastic - genuinely kind, personable, and reassuring, I really felt like I was getting top-notch customer service. Pretty quick turn-around on the repair work (especially considering I brought it in right before the holidays), and they even gave the interior a thorough detailing as part of the overall service (which it definitely needed!) The entire process was smooth & hassle-free - Thank you so much for the rock star treatment, I really appreciate it! *High recommend*

Where do I even start? We were out in Denver to visit family and friends back in mid- June. We were in Denver for all of 1 hour into our trip when someone ran a stop sign and made my car undrivable. Champa was the closest collision shop so that's what we went with. Little did we know that we found the best body shop in Denver, Colorado.My insurance (progressive) was an absolute nightmare to deal with from the very beginning. Ghosting both myself and body shop whenever we would call to try to get the job started and finished. I spoke with the ladies in the office at Champa probably no less than 20 times over the last three months. They went above and beyond and worked alongside me to take on every curveball the insurance company would try to throw at us (and there were several). They were there every step of the way. Dealing with a collision is never fun or easy but Champa made it as seamless as possible on their end.I'm not a big review guy but their actions made me make an exception. I had to let people know how amazing their whole team was from start to finish. I absolutely could not recommend them enough. If you're in Denver and have any auto repair or collison needs Dial up Champa and you will be in the best hands in the city.Service: Auto body & trim repair

This shop is a gem. We were in Denver from out of town, they got us in for a check engine light and performance issue right away and got us back on the road within a few hours. They even obtained and installed a part from a dealer for us- all same day and for a reasonable price. Brought my nissan sentra for a diagnostics. Paid $94 to have it done, they said the repairs would be $1570. I informed then I would bring the car back in a week and have it all done. We left on good terms. The owner however, called me and cussed me out this morning at 8:00a.m. and threatened me to remove my car, which is at my house, off his lot. And that he refuses to ever help me. I have no idea why. I asked. Only cussed me out more. This owner was also witnessed arriving at work, I saw him pull up and kick a homeless lady in the stomach and face outside. The lady inside that works the desk says he does that a lot. On the plus side, go to grease monkey. Fixed it all for $340 and it was done in 2 hours. Don't go here.
