Took my car in and after being in for an extended amount of time I had to be the communication between my insurance and the car star adjuster because he just wasn t available or have any sense of concern about getting fly car done. I paid for additional work to get done outside of the claim, and when I picked up my car it wasn t completed. There was damage done to the driver side of the hood and quarter panel that wasn t there before. I left the auto body shop to get home and see it. Had to return to the shop to point the work I paid for wasn t completed and there was more damage. The paint doesn t match the original paint, and horrible paint job. Didn t connect the back window defroster when they put it back in. So my defroster hasn t worked since I picked it up. Spoke with Tracy the shop manager she promised work would get fixed that was five weeks ago and still haven t heard anything. Save you money, frustrations, and disbelief for other places. This shop is horrible

DO NOT take your car here if you want work completed in a timely manner! My daughter was side swiped which caused some damage to the rear driver's side. The other driver's insurance was great and got the claim started right away. We dropped her car off on January 11th. The estimator rushed through the drop off and barely gave me time to discuss my concerns. That is the LAST TIME I spoke to anyone involved in the actual repairs. I called multiple times a week for updates and was assured each time (by the receptionist) that someone would call me back (including the manager) which never happened. I was finally able to pick the car up on February 20th after I CALLED THEM to see if it was done. I STILL don't know what was repaired and what was replaced as the invoice I received says repair/replace on EVERY item. If I knew what was actually done, I might be able to give more stars as the car seems to be good. Almost 6 weeks for a fender bender is not acceptable.

Writing this review as my husband speaks to the receptionist. We ve been before when it was a family owned business and the work took a little longer than expected but the staff was pleasant and communicative and most importantly, not terrible like this receptionist who clearly doesn t like her job. Ma am, as the front lines of a company it is your best interest not to be awful on the phone.

This shop was recommended by one of there new staff members longtime friend of mine and I told her I will fallow her where ever she went do bringing in new business Thank you Laura for helping me and also kudos to May she was awesome smooth transition helped me with the appointment and bringing in my truck she also help me with my insurance and rental place for my rental Thank you May your amazing Thank you all from carstar ideal Northglenn you guys rock

I gave 1 star because I cant give a 0 rating. For anyone who reads this, please heed my words. Don't ever go to the CARSTAR Ideal Northglenn. They are a nightmare company. They had my car for 46 days to fix my moonroof from a break in. Excuse after excuse, to hearing nothing at all from them week after week. 46 days they had my car. 20 days past the date they said it would be ready. I'm telling everyone I possibly can don't give any of your business to this company, they truly don't deserve it.

Horrible service my vehicle has been in their shop since November for just a rear bumper, it's now February and still not vehicle. They don't answer and when they do they hang up. When you do finally talk to someone again they have no knowledge of hanging up on you. I don't understand how it take this many months for a shop the specializes in body work yet can't get a rear bumper done let alone display any kind of professionalism. I do not recommend this shop to anybody go elsewhere if you want you vehicle back in a timely manner

My car had to be towed in and the technicians did a fantastic job fixing everything, it looks great.The front office staff were also amazing, they were very knowledgeable, friendly, courteous informative and attentive.My dissatisfaction came from a girl who I was told is named Tracy. I believe she is someone who is in a managerial position as she took control of the situation when she came out to see what was going on with my car. She did not introduce herself or give her title before starting to take control of what was going on. She was very rude, disrespectful, condescending, extremely unprofessional, and the sole reason I would not return for future service nor would I recommend this CarStar to friends and family.

This team did a great job on my Rogue! They had a very difficult time dealing with not only the vendors repeatedly sending the wrong parts but me on the other end of the line whining about how bad I needed my car back! They handled the entire situation with professionalism, empathy, and kindness. Lisa and Julie have a hard job keeping that train from detailing, but performed with grace and always had knowledgeable feedback. Carlos worked his butt off getting the right parts as soon as he could and making sure everything was 100% correct, no matter how long it took. In an economy that has forced companies to lose customer service and pride in the products they offer, this shop has not, and I don t see them slowing any time soon. Keep up the great work, you guys!

I dropped my 2015 Corolla off for a new bumper on October 12th and as of November 14 got the car back. Would have liked to have not had to use a rental for so long. The repair job itself meets expectations.

Went for an appointment to get an estimate and waited 30 minutes before someone even asked if they could help me. I was told that they would write up the estimate and get it to me the next day. I had to call multiple times and finally received the estimate after a month. Needless to say I would not use carstar for my repair or recommend them.

They did a great job on the body work for my 2023 Tacoma. However, when I got my truck back, the entire plastic gauge cover on my dashboard had scratches ALL over it. It looked as if someone had cleaned all the particles off without a microfiber cloth. I never got a single return phone call back over the course of a few months about the situation. The Toyota dealership told me it s going to cost a good thousand dollars to replace that one piece.

Carstar's assessment of our car's damage was highly inaccurate. We initially brought our vehicle in to address a car door issue, but their evaluation led to the car being declared totaled due to a minor incident involving the door being caught by the wind. Suspicion arises as they seemingly included additional repairs to justify totaling the car. When we tried to discuss this discrepancy with them, they were uncooperative and refused to address the issue. Be cautious when considering Carstar for your automotive needs.

Great service, great staff. Car was dropped off and finished/delivered as promised. Rentacar with Enterprise was smooth and easy to transition into while my car was under repair. If you need an estimate, all for Dave Albertson; he's a star at this business.

I would like to express my deep appreciation for the incredible service provided by the folks at Carstar in Northglenn. Throughout the entire process of repairing my fleet vehicles, they consistently kept me informed and updated on the progress. Their communication is outstanding, ensuring that I was always aware of what was happening with my car. Not only do they keep in contact with me, but they also manage to complete the repairs swiftly even when parts a hard to get these days. The efficiency and dedication they demonstrated has been truly commendable. I cannot thank them enough for their exceptional service and for making this experience as smooth as possible. I highly recommend Carstar in Northglenn for their outstanding customer service and efficient workmanship.

We took our vehicle here to have damage from a minor car accident fixed. First, the communication is very poor. We were told every day for a week that our car would be ready by the end of the day and our car was not ready by the end of that day. When we finally picked up our car, the electronics in the side mirror and door lock were not working. We immediately took the car back and Carlos was able to fix the mirror. He said he would have to check with the manufacturer to figure out what was wrong with the door lock and get back to us that same day. We have not heard back from Carlos again. We have left several messages a day. They now are not even answering the phone when we call the front office.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Took 3 mths to fix the car. Poor communication. Then they broke a lens then they said they would fix it and did not! Have not returned my calls. Save your time don't go there.

My rear view mirror is not operating properly. This was not broken when I bought you my car. Now I have to take my car back for this to be repaired. This is very inconvenient

I recently brought my car in for an estimate. They said that the estimate would be sent later that day. It has now been about three weeks with almost no communication from them, and certainly no estimate. They had me bring my car in a SECOND time to take more pictures for the estimate, and again said it would be sent very soon. Since then, I have not been able to reach them in any way. They never pick up the phone and their voice mailbox is empty. I truly don't care about inevitable long wait times, I get that it's busy, but this lack of communication with the bare minimum first steps is absurd and unprofessional. I'm extremely disappointed with this experience and would highly recommend you take your vehicles elsewhere so that you do not waste your time.

I first used this place in 2016 and had a great experience which is why I chose to have my car repaired here again just recently. This time the experience was the complete opposite. I started this process at the beginning of May and it was 3 weeks before they even had an appointment to drop off my car. I dropped off my car on May 31st (wed) and the estimator, Niki, assured me she would get my car in quickly and have an update to me by the end of the week, Friday, June 2nd. Friday came and went with no update. I called first thing on June 5th, Monday and was told that the car was disassembled and 2 out of the 3 parts were in. She said she would check and get an update on the last part and give me a call back later that day. Again, no call from her. I waited until Thursday, June 8th and since I hadn't received an update, I actually went into the office to speak with someone. Niki was not in due to some personal appointments that day and I spoke to Carlos, who didn't really have a good idea on what was going on with my car. He told me that there were multiple parts they were waiting on to be delivered, which was different than what I was told from Niki. Carlos assured me he would have Niki call me or someone call me to give me an update later that day. As you can guess, no call from anyone again. I called again on Monday June 12th and spoke to Niki and was told that the grille shutter was still not in and they expected it to be in NLT Friday, June 16th. I also found out that the estimate that I had originally received had been updated and the cost was now 4x as much as the original quote. I asked to see an update estimate which now included paint work, which I specifically said I did not want done on the initial walk around of my car. Other parts had been ordered for replacement which I had not approved either. It should not be the responsibility of the customer to continually ask for updates or to ask for pictures of parts of the car that would potentially be replaced. Customer service was minimal at best, always over promising and under delivering. Before finally picking up my car on June 19th, I spoke to the manager Teri and expressed my frustrations. There are some training and coaching opportunities that can be used here. The receptionist needs to be more friendly, helpful and not just transfer the phone to people's voicemail. Overall-a big improvement in customer service needs to happen.

Complete lack of clear communication, false information and promises. No one ever knew what was going on when I called. Kept getting told it would only be a couple more days FOR 3 WEEKS. wound up spending thousands more on a rental car due to the incompetence and unprofessionalism displayed by all employees involved. Didn't even find out a part was missing until the day they had promised I could pick it up then it wound up taking another week! Would never come back or recommend to anyone. Wound up costing me so much more than my deductible due to all the mistakes they made and lack of communication. Was told I would be called with updates several times, it only happened ONCE in the 8 weeks that they had my car.

Secretary seemed super mean, wouldn t get me get a word in edgewise and got mad when I asked about them putting in a part from an outside vender. They seemingly only want to use their own parts so they can charge twice as much for the service. Strange.

Great service from every department! They were realistic in their timing for car repair. We brought it for evaluation in February and were told parts & appointments wouldn't be available until April. The completion date was extended another 3 weeks once they got into the repairs, so we were fortunate to have rental car coverage in our insurance plan. They finished a day earlier than planned, and were great at communicating updates. Highly recommend

I wouldn't trust any place else to fix my car. The girls at the front are super helpful and so kind. Everyone truly is amazing. I can't say enough good things! I had my car fixed last year and I was so impressed with the communication, effort and quality. This go around I wasn't as lucky, however even though my insurance was so difficult to deal with everyone was still so helpful. Everyone compassion and dedication to great service and the customers is hard to come by these days. I'd choose them everytime.

After being rear ended, our rear safety features worked. Now they don't but we are having problems with Carstar taking accountability for fixing the problem. We took it back to have it looked at and were told that we would be receiving a call from Ryan as to what needs to happen next. However, that was more than two weeks ago. We were told that our vehicle would be ready to pick up after 3 and when we arrived at 4, we still waited an hour for our car because the detailer had walked off from the job. We also had to wait for them to install our rear step because it had been over looked during the process. Because the "estimated date of completion" continuously changed, our Hertz rental car was not completed paid for and we had to pay out of pocket for some of it and later get reimbursed. We originally wanted our repairs made at the Arvada location because it was within walking distance from our home but we were told by them that the repairs could not be made until 2023 and they referred us to the Northglenn location. When we took our 2021 Forester to the Subaru dealership for servicing, they explained that the plastic sensor piece was probably never replaced and that the fix should be relatively easy. After being rear ended, the safety features worked fine, Since it was replaced a month ago, they have only worked three times. As a consumer, I am left wondering what I can do to get everything resolved.Service: Body & Trim

Find somewhere else. This place completely turned our repair into a shitshow. They lied to our insurance company when they told them in march they could take in our car and estimate it same day. Our car sat for 7 weeks until carstar one day said oh we can t fix it then towed it to a different mechanic without us or our insurance company knowing about it! (Which technically is theft and my insurance company told me I could have pressed charges against them). How we found out was carstar texted us saying our muffler was gone and needed replaced so they had to send it elsewhere, which turned out to be complete fiction, our muffler is fine. Then they sent an incorrect estimate over to our insurance company causing confusion and delaying the process. Carstar does not care about customers and apparently has no idea what they are doing.

I had some pretty extensive collision damage, and my insurance agent recommended that I entrust the repair to them. Throughout the entire process, everyone at CARSTAR was competent, friendly, thorough and efficient. They kept me well informed with regular text messages throughout the evaluation of the damage, parts needed and acquired, communications with insurance, and progress on repair work. They set realistic timelines and met them. I could not be more pleased with both the process and the outcome.
