Stay away. They are rude and unfriendly. Also, I swear their oil change price goes up every time I'm there and they will try to sell you synthetic oil even if your car doesn't take it. And of course, they will always tell you something needs to be fixed or replaced on your car whether it is true or not. It must be corporate policy to swindle you. I've always gone to this shop because it's close but I'm done. Make sure you read all of the reviews below because there is an inordinate amount of negative ones all along the same theme. The five stars must be put in by plants. If you need tire service only, I suggest you go a few blocks west to Peerless Tires. Great guys who won't try to scam you.

Dropping a quick kudos for Andrew K. I m aways tentative when having to go to auto/tire shops cause you never know what surprise mandatory repairs they re going to try and sell you on, but I never felt like that during my visit. Andrew was very informative about my car s situation without making it feel like he was pushing me to buy anything. He informed me all the processes that they were going to take to make sure my car was at least safe to drive so I wasn t blindsided by any impromptu fees. I told him that I just came back from vacation so I didn t have much to work with in terms of funds after he filled me in on all my dashboard service lights, and he understood without being judgmental or trying to convince me that they had to be completed right then and there. Even though it took a bit longer to service my car than initially estimated, I was still pleased with the service overall because Andrew took the time to let me know where I was at in line and what was going on. Really appreciated him and told him that I will definitely be coming back to their location to take care of all my service lights as soon as I have some disposable income.

Charged $918 to change the starter on my 2009 Hyundai (about twice the cars value at this point), pretty sure that bill is going to haunt me forever considering I could do it myself in a few hours for substantially less. Not sure why it was that much, they charged a lot less to completely redo my brakes a while back. Folks here aren't overtly grumpy most the time, though, and their work is fine as far as I can tell. I would just stick to oil and tire changes here.

The kind gentlemen in this store really saved us. We showed up right when they opened with a car packed to the brim, ready for a 24 hour car journey east. We discovered the tires needed air, but could not get the valves off. The valves needed to be replaced. I asked if we should just replace the tires and Anthony advised the tires still had some good mileage, just replace the valves. Honest and really stepped up when we needed help. Thank you!

The store itself is very clean the whole staff was clean and respectful I brought tires with lifetime warranty roadside assistance alignment oil change maintenance tune up struts front and back 3400.00 I was very happy with a job well done and the entire staff I've been going to Big O tires for years my daughters and my sons come here so thank you to the staff at big O tires for keep our cars up and running we appreciate you

Always have a second opinion after going to this shop you can see the difference between 16$ to 160$. If you don't know about your car much, for sure they gonna give you a huge bill. And if they tell you its a free inspection for your car, and after it's done, if you want to come back then the old manager in the store will scold you for having free inspection done. Always make sure to have second opinion with other mechanics too. They loot your money if you don't know about your car.

My goodness!! The customer service was - once again - AHmazing at Big O Tires / Colfax!! While on my way to an appointment, I realized I had a hole in one of my tires, and big O tires was able to get me in on a walk in basis, and provided me with a cozy camper chair out in front of their store, while I sat in the sun, for just 20 minutes, while they fixed my tire. The kindness, informative customer service, and rapid response of Kyle and Tyler was quite extraordinary! Highly recommend!!

Do not go to this shop. I had a new set of tires put on at their shop on the 12th of January and they stripped out all my lug nuts. None of the lugs were torqued correctly, 12 out of 24 lugs were not tight at all, 4 lugs I could take off with my hands. I call and never head back from the shop. Im lucky I checked or this would have been much worse. Do not go to the Big O at 5405 E Colfax. While I was there I heard the owner talking to another customer about pending litigation so seems like they have messed up with other people vehicles too.I did call the shop and they pulled up all my information and said someone would call me. I never heard back from this shop so the owner posting to say he would make it right is not true. They arent doing a thing about it.

Wish I could give more than five stars. Kyle was kind, professional and super helpful. The staff here rules. Everything about our trip today for winter tires was made as painless and expedited as possible. Highly recommend. Thanks Big O!

Brought in my car due to a screw in the tire. Called in and spoke with Kyle, he let me know they d be able to help me right away. Kyle was kind, helpful in my decision making, and very informative. Unfortunately the tire needed to be replaced but I will be back for all my future tire needs.

Place is a scam telling me my warranty I got on my tires is only valid at a franchised location. They installed a metal tire cap on my tire then said they wouldn't install the metal cap if it wasn't already on there.. none of my tires have metal caps or came with them. Then they want me to drive all the way back an hour away to superior to get the valve issue their company caused and pay to get it fixed .Stay away from this company their scam

These guys are great! For 30+ years, I have gotten tires from one of their competitors. When I needed new tires this time, I shopped online, and Big O had a better price and is also much closer to where I live. I booked the appointment online, and a few minutes later, they called and confirmed. The next day, they called to let me know the tires had come in and they'd see me that afternoon. Upon arriving at the store, Andrew was very friendly and explained that the alignment may make things take longer (he knew I was waiting there). I left and went to Starbucks, then returned and sat in their clean, comfortable lobby. I had an issue when filing my rebate, so I called the store, and Andrew was helpful in giving me a number to get in touch with corporate, and also confirmed to me that I am indeed entitled to the rebate I believe I am. Definitely recommend!

These guys are great. Lifesavers. I had an unfixable flat. They completely went out of their way to find me a new tire on a day I had a very important appointment to make. They had my new tire in and put on my vehicle in a timely fashion and off I was. I had gone to Firestone in Cherry Creek area prior to Big O tires. The Firestone guy was a jerk. I appreciated this place. Thanks guys.

I visited the Big O Tire Store on Colfax with a slow leak from tire on Mercedes 4matic. The Store sales person told me that he could not fix the tire because the screw in the tire was too close to the sidewall. Indeed, I needed four tires because it was all wheel driven not just one. A simple repair became a $1,341 project. I went down the street to Peerless Tires where they repaired the leak for $20! Beware of recommendations.

Beware, They take advantage of women who don t know much about cars. They added on an extra service without asking me first. The gentleman took care of the issue for me but not until I made a stink about it. Don t add on anything without asking as you don t know everyone s financial situation.

Went in for an oil change and maintenance I couldn t get done at my last visit. After the estimate I realized I was shy from having the total so I passed in order to avoid financing. Some time goes by before I m called up to be told my tires had to be replaced. At my own fault I didn t ask to check my tires myself and decided to trust these people even though I could have sworn I should have been okay with the tires I had for awhile. When I got home I realized those tires had less than 20,000 miles on them from the previous owner and I only drive a short commute for work. I m certain there was absolutely no reason to replace them which is entirely my fault for allowing it but the kicker is they completely gouged out my rims when they replaced my tires. I m thankful I passed on allowing them to do the maintenance that should have been seen as the priority because who knows how badly they would have messed my car up. I will never be coming back as a customer and I will never recommend people to come here.

Ridiculous prices, who charges 40$ to patch a tire, you can go get a used tire for that much and they didn t even offer that. Definitely go somewhere else where everything is more reasonable

Very difficult to work with and poor customer service. It was quite the hassle to get a tire replaced even with the replacement service we paid for when buying the tires. I would not recommend bigotires protection program. Our tires were at 11mm (new at 15) and one of the tires was punctured by a nail and could not be fixed and needed replaced. Due to others tires being at 11mm they made us buy 3 other new tires even though all of them should have been replaced under the protection program; if one tire needs to be replaced, but other tires would are too low for balance then all tires should be replaced under this program.

Was told I would probably need an expensive fix by another place and when I went to Big O Andrew told me that it would most likely be a tire balance. He said he would check both tires but only charged me for the one since that s all it took. I am so extremely pleased with this service and will absolutely be going back!

Kyle helped me decide which tires were best for my 4Runner and answered all of my questions. The price was fair and they had plenty of choices in stock. In and out in an hour. I had no idea this process could be so quick! I would have had to wait weeks to have this service in the mountains so I m happy I called! Thank you Kyle- I truly appreciate good customer service and this store is lucky to have you!

I went in for a plug on my tire because I had a nail in it. Big O recommended 4 new tires. I accepted and spent $1200 and they replaced them. I picked the car up at the end of day. Next morning, on my way to work my car had no power steering function and I found that it had poured out the steering fluid onto the driveway overnight. I took the car right back to Big O and asked them if something happened during the tire change. They said it wasn't possible, and instead called it a coincidence. Because my normal repair shop had no availability for a week, I figured I'd trust them so agreed to $2500 in repairs to the car, including an alignment, complete removal and replacement of steering gear, rack assembly, new pressure and return lines, etc. Once complete, I picked up my car and immediately noticed a loud audible clicking sound when the steering wheel is turned. Could this new steering problem have anything to do with the complete steering replacement that they just completed the exact same day? Not according to Big O. Apparently, the car needed new bushings, work that they offered for an additional $2600. How is it that each of the last two services procured at this shop immediately necessitated a new car repair? According to Big O, it s due to the age of the vehicle. Finding the odds of the situation far too improbable, I took my vehicle to my normal repair shop, rather than opt for the $2600 repair. I got the car back from my trusted shop on the same day, and according to them, the car needed lubrication on the steering stops. They fixed the problem for $70 and the car has run fine since. I can t imagine ever trusting this Big O shop (or any for that matter) ever again. I suspect, albeit without proof, that they somehow damaged the vehicle s steering components during the tire change. And based on the assessment of the need for unnecessary repairs, it seems the shop is either incompetent or dishonest. Either way, it s not a good look.

Always an easy in-and-out service. Excellent service every time. When you buy your tires from them, fixing flats and tire rotations are free. Not a bad deal!!
