I love Baker Garage! As a car enthusiast, it's important that my ride is well taken care of. I love the customer service and how they not only go out of their way to get the car fixed asap, but to give it the thorough investigation that other shops do not. The icing on the cake, is they have an alignment machine in-house and make sure your car is perfect before handing you the keys.

I LOVE Baker Volvo! Having recently transferred my regular maintenance and service over here from the dealership I could not be happier! They are very trustworthy, efficient, and friendly. Excellent group working here! They checked over my 15 year old volvo with a fine tooth comb and took the time to explain everything they saw in extreme detail. They're experienced, honest, and efficient. They have a nice waiting room available if you have to stay and they did mention loaner vehicles if I had to leave mine for some reason but make sure you book it in advance.

I recently purchased a 1990 volvo 240 DL. This is my FAVORITE car of all time. But as expected, it s got some issues. I came in after being recommended from another service shop from another. The staff were extremely professional as opposed to some other places I had gone earlier in the day. Jeremy is a terrific guy and laid out a plan for my car in order to fix some issues. He was able to replace what I had originally come in for, being my broken turn signal lever, but he went above and beyond. He stayed late to ensure I understood the trivialities with my vehicle. I scheduled another repair appointment in the coming weeks. This is definitely going to be my go-to repair service.Thank you, Jeremy!- Mordechai

These guys are a legit 5/5. I brought in a Rivian for an alignment, which is a new car, from a new brand, with a fairly complicated suspension.They were kind and gave it a shot, and even after working on it for several hours, they didn't charge me for the alignment because they weren't confident they solved my problem. For the record it did make a noticeable improvement! Very classy.They were communicative and patient, as I was there for the better part of the day. Their waiting room is a nice place to be as well.I would bring any of my vehicles here, and I would recommend them to anyone.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Such an awesome shop I ve been using them for a few years for all of my Volvo needs and will always go to them for everything. Especially since they are not only working on Volvos anymore. Will highly recommend them for all your maintenance and also performance needs. They told me everything that was still good on my car and what needed replacement and then recommended what parts to use and to install.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic

I brought my Volvo here for some work on my shocks and ended up getting brake pads as well and the team did a great job! The work was high quality for a reasonable price and was done on time, as promised. They were even kind enough to drop me off for work and pick me up when the car was ready. I would highly recommend and will be back for further maintenance.

Good customer service but they will low ball the hell out of you if you're trying to part out a car. $200 for a 940 turbo. I could get that for the red block alone

Very friendly staff. I couldn t get my car in, due to my travel schedule, but they were very kind to offer advice with my Volvo s thermostat replacement I was able to do myself. Most shops won t take the time to do that, and let me know what probably caused the housing to fail. (Hot cold cycles if I recall correctly.)

Editing my Review because once again the guys at Baker Garage/ Volvo Specalist have kept my 1990 245 in the best shape she could be for how much I drive in the rockies. A personal shout out to Mike who is one of the techs. Very knowledgeable about 240s and was even nice enough to go around the block to try and diagnosed a reoccurring noise in my front end. Double checks all my bushings and mounts to verify I'm ok. These guys always go above and beyond from sourcing parts all the way from Sweden to pulling out a spare part from their storage to fix something on my old girl. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a volvo or anything else. These guys rock.Once again the guys have kept my baby alive, huge thanks to everyone here for their dedication to these cars and the crazy people who own them.

I have brought my Volvo here twice and am very impressed with the level of service and kindness I've received. They are honest about the price and have never kept my car longer than expected. And in my case, back the same day.The service at the Denver area Volvo dealerships has been absolutely atrocious and I will give my money to Baker before giving another minute of my time to the other places.

I love these guys. Nicest mechanics I ve known. Been going to them for 5 years, first with my 850 and now my V70R. They speak to me like an equal, a friend, and don t try to speak down to me and confuse me with technical jargon like I have experienced at other places. They re willing to share their knowledge with you if you want to hear it, and I appreciate that. Their prices have always seemed fair you get what you pay for and you re paying for superb customer service and really high quality work and genuine parts. Only the best for Irma (my V70R).UPDATE: Going on 9 years of taking my Volvos here. Just recently had my throttle control module go out in my V70R and the guys got the part ordered, shipped and replaced in no time. They gave me a nice loaner car to drive for the two days my car was in the shop. I also added some photos of their recent remodel and the fun trinkets and art they have in their lounge.

If only every shop I worked with was like Baker... They were very easy to communicate with and scheduled me in a timely manner. I requested a spec alignment on my lowered vehicle and they absolutely nailed it. The tech asked good questions, kept me updated and completed the work in a very timely manner. The waiting room was comfortable and it was neat being able to see what was going on in the bay. I look forward to having more opportunities to come back.

82$ to tell me my engine was blown. So 164$ a hour, they said it took 30 mins. To check oil and see water was mixed. Any time a charge is applied, you're supposed to call and notify before charged work is done. They did not. Saying my guys need to be paid doesn't negate protocol practiced everywhere(no one told me I was going to be charged ) . 7000-8000$ to replace the engine, which is double national average. Nope, never again. I could have pulled my own dip stick and saved 82$ , shame on me.

Took in my Xc70 for A strange ac issue that no other shop could figure out. After 30mins the Baker Garage (Mike is awesome!) was able to pin point the solution and it wasn't expensive at all. They even included a full car exam at no additional cost and my service dog Hank absolutely adores the owners (he's a great judge of character). Great people and a great shop. Very clean too. I will definitely be coming back!

Great shop, great people. My wife and I have gone to the Baker Garage for years now, first with our Volvo V50 and now with my Air Lift equipped Allroad. This is how a shop should be run. Honest, fairly priced and highly skilled. Thank you guys, I'll be back soon.

Do not use them - my husband took his Volvo in to get serviced and they either broke or stole our hood release latch and replaced the OEM part with a cheap generic, not noting it in our invoice or relaying the information in any capacity when he picked the car back up. If you want a garage to service your car knowing they have integrity, seek assistance elsewhere. They are not worth the extra tax they charge because of their rating here online.

Baker Garage & Volvo Specialists is a terrific independent shop. They have been performing all the maintenance and work on my Volvo for a couple of years and I've always been happy with the work. They don't try to sell me stuff I don't need and they always communicate about the work so I can make informed decisions.

Great experience. They were accommodating of my schedule, very timely with repairs, and reasonably priced. I am happy to have found this shop for my Volvo repair/upgrade needs. Service advisors and technicians are very knowledgeable about Volvo (and other cars) and share knowledge willingly. It's nice to have a skilled team working on the car that is confident the work is being done right and communicates every step of the way. Highly recommend.

Baker serviced our old S40 for years. The service is solid and honest. The building is sexy and comfortable. I even got to check out some classic Volvos they have onsite. Did great work on my Volvo S80, I needed brakes badly and they fit me in same week. Gave a fair price and did not try to tell me I needed additional work. They are an honest mechanic who succeeds through quality work and repeat customers

The best Volvo mechanics I've ever been to! Honest and fair prices, knowledgeable, straightforward, and friendly service. The staff was kind enough to let me come into the garage and let me see things up close because I'm learning how to work on my own car. Their shop and waiting area is incredibly well designed and comfortable. They even provide you with drinks as well as a window into the shop to see what's going on!

Go here over Rickenbaugh, 100%. These guys got me all sorted out, are always quick to help with current issues and good about letting you know as other things develop so you can plan for the maintenance accordingly. Their pricing is incredibly fair and some of their services are less than half the price I ve been quoted at Rickenbaugh (such as a transmission flush, Rickenbaugh wanted over $1100 and these guys were less than $500).

They helped me find the correct turbo for my car, were upfront about prices, and even gave me a list of what needed to be serviced on my car as well as their prices. Mike was extremely helpful. I am glad I drove from the Springs to have my Volvo S60 serviced there. They have attracted an exceptional staff. So far it looks like everything went well thanks to the mechanics. My new turbo is working great!

Bring ANYTHING to Baker and they will take care of it with honesty and quality. Upgrades. Maintenance. You name it. And they may not do body work or upholstery work, but they will recommend a local business that will take care of you just as well as they do. I've been using them for years and even though I live far away now, I will still bring my vehicles to them whenever possible. The only think I miss about living in Denver is bringing my car to Justin and his skilled and friendly team.
