Nick was super super helpful! I came by last minute and the shop was able to help out when I had planned on driving the car over 3 states and we found out there was more that needed to be done that was possible in 1 day. He stayed late and came in on his day off to fix my car and get me back safe on my journey! Very grateful for their help! Would recommend!

Eric and Nick did a tremendous job of diagnosing and repairing my A4.On my way to DIA, my check engine light came on. Conveniently located in my neighborhood, I swung by Eric s shop and asked him if he could take a look as to why the indicator is on. Within a couple minutes he had plugged in the A4 and diagnosed an issue with the turbo and still wanted to test it out to confirm as replacing turbos can be costly. I was able to drop the car off and upon return from my business trip, it was ready to go. The car runs better than it has the last three years., and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody who owns German cars.

Terrible experience - Four days and $822 and not only did they not fix my problem, they created another one that cost me another $600 to fix. The shop is an absolute mess with piles of papers, chip bags, and full ashtrays everywhere - the photos on the website are a false representation of the current shape of the business. The owner Eric wasn t expecting me on our agreed-upon appointment date, didn t have the part on hand as per our agreement, and upon pick up, handed me the wrong car key and didn t offer a receipt until I asked. I came in because of a knocking noise in the rear and thought it might be shocks. Nobody bothered to take the car for a drive to feel/hear what I was experiencing and instead he told me I need front struts. I was confused because the noise was in the back but went ahead anyway. They took 4 days to replace the front struts, did a terrible job leaving grease everywhere and tearing the CV boot and left me not only with the problem I came in with but a brand new one. I then took it to another place who gave me excellent service. They drove the car, took before pics and had me fixed in a single day.I don t leave many reviews but for some reason, 5280 has good reviews and it was the single worst experience I ve had with a mechanic. I gave Eric a chance to make it right and respond, which he never did. I want to warn people away from 5280 and to the other shop, who took EXCELLENT care of me. I m leaving a review for them as well so you can find them and stay away from this awful place.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I'm speechlessI dropped of someone's lazy, sloppy work here to have it finally fixed right. It wasn't an easy project. Eric and his team returned my car in amazing condition. I took my Audi Q7 TDI there for repair. He said the engine was completely damaged and that I should junk out the car. I tool the car to the dealership for a second opinion. They refuted his assertion that the engine was damaged. My car is still running till now without any engine issues.

I'm adding to my initial review... Eric and his team are seriously top notch. I wish I could give them 10 out of 5 stars. We are lucky to have a shop like this in Denver for German automobiles. I used a few other shops before I found 5280, but will never use anyone else as long as I'm in the Denver metro area. Every time I stop into the shop, I feel like I could spend a few hours talking with the staff. The breadth of knowledge at 5280 deserves an award. I will never doubt the work they perform because they show you exactly what they did and anything they replaced. I cannot express enough what a great resource they are!!!...Eric and his team are a great resource for metro Denver - I'm happy I found them. They completed completed the work on our Jetta same day and talked me through exactly what was done and what we might expect next. I d give 10 stars if I could! Eric and team provided incredible customer service. He fit me in over Memorial Day weekend and in an extremely generous gesture gave me a ride home after dropping off my car. Highly recommend 5280 Motorsport for anyone who wants a more personalized and reasonably priced experience compared to the dealer.

What a great experience!!! Eric worked to provide me an estimate for the work on my Audi and provided several options before I decided to move forward. There was no pressure at any time. We planned for a day and time that was convenient for me, the work was completed quickly and at the estimated cost that I was provided. No suprises or delays with the work. I highly recommend 5280 Motorsport!

I called Audi and they wanted $300 just to look at it. My wife and I have been taking our Audis to this shop since we moved here. They were on time, communicated well and were able to show me what was wrong. They gave me a great price and expeditiously completed a steering rack replacement. I was told by my local VW dealer I needed about $2,400 of urgent repairs on my GTI. I decided to shop around for a mechanic that specializes in German cars and was drawn to the high ratings of this shop.When I called Eric up he was able to give me a quote and get my car in the same day. Eric walked me through what actually needed to be done, and what the dealership was throwing in to make a quick buck. His transparency, pricing (which came in at less than half what the dealership wanted and beat other local shops I called), and workmanship from start to finish was excellent. I would recommend 5280 to anyone looking to get work done on their car.

I wanted to like these guys, I really did. Friendly service. Seemed generally helpful. Went there a few times for various issues. My problem with them is their inability to fix a problem with my car after multiple attempts, a failure to correctly diagnose the same issue (which I later confirmed by another independent shop and the dealership) upon me returning again within the warranty period, and their refusal to admit that failure and fix (again) the same issue without charge. I don't know much about cars past what I can look up online, so I relied on and trusted these guys. I wish I hadn't.

I feel so luck to have found this place. They have helped me with every big and small issue I have had with my older jetta tdi. They are quick, reliable, friendly, affordable and honest. The owner and staff are seriously terrific and the sweet adorable shop dogs are definitely a highlight for me as well :). Eric and his crew were thorough in diagnosing and repairing an issue with my Cayenne S. I have been to other repair shops and never understood the problem and just received a bill. 5280 Motorsport was fairly priced, knowledgeable and honest. Eric and his crew have been kind, upfront and honest about working on my new, used Audi. My fear of purchasing an Audi was the dreaded stories of maintaining one I've heard from so many people. All of those fears are gone now that I've made 5280 Motorsports my mechanics. I trust and will probably stay an Audi owner forever because I found this shop.

Eric and his mechanics saved my Passat wagon after realizing I needed to change the timing belt. They were super friendly and got my car taken care for me right away.I dropped the car off on a Thursday evening and had it ready to go on Friday evening.I called a couple of other shops around town and they quoted to work at about the same price but I decided to go with 5280 Motorsport because they are local to my neighborhood and I have heard nothing but great things.

Eric was awesome to work with - he quoted me a price to replace my timing chain and complete the 100k mile service which ended up coming in higher than the quote when it was complete - but he stuck to his word and only charged me the original quote. Really appreciated that for an already expensive service. Found them on Yelp in 2015 and 5 years later it s the only place I bring my 03 Jetta. Eric and staff are honest and helpful. Eric even drove it to the Emissions station this year after 4 fails. 5th time was the charm. Highly recommended.

We were traveling cross country when our car broke down in the rockies. After a long tow into denver it was 5pm and a snowstorm hit. Most mechanics were closed or closing, and we called two before 5280. Were were turned away flat, as they were too busy with other breakdowns from the weather. One even told us it would be expensive without seeing our vehicle, based on demand (we were driving a 2006 jetta, diesel).When we called Eric we were desperate, tired and cold. He told us to come over right away. We got the car there (could drive short distances before stopping) and Eric stayed late to figure out the problem. While doing so he noticed another issue that would have taken us off the road anytime. He physically showed us the damage, and while taking the time he told us about his background traveling Europe and working on old, new and prototype vehicles.He could not get the parts until tomorrow, so he made sure our family found a safe place to stay before going home to his own.The next day Eric and his team (shoutout to Church and Joel) got us back on the road quick, knowing we couldn't really afford to lose time on a trip like ours. Eric charged us a very fair price, and we have put 1500 miles on the vehicle since. I have had some pretty rough experiences with mechanics and being from out of town in a pretty rough situation without a lot of options, I feared we were in for the worst. That didn't happen, and it was the best experience we have ever had at a shop.If we lived in Denver we would be customers for life. We don't live there, but if you do - check out Eric's shop. You will not regret it.

Achtung!If you re thinking about taking your vehicle to Eric at 5280 Motorsports I highly advise that you reconsider.I ve been driving Audi s for 15 yrs and I ve been to several of the shops in the Denver area; this shop should not be in business. Eric had my car for two months over the course of a three-month period. I had to take it back four times because he could not properly diagnose and resolve the issue. He claims to have replaced (multiple times) the entire power steering system (pump, rack, hoses, reservoir, fluid). After the first attempt, he returned the car and said verbatim, the steering wheel feels tight, but the rack and pump just need time to communicate. Just drive it. Turns out the rack failed w/in two weeks which not only put myself, but passengers and other people on the road at danger. This was brought to Eric s attention, but I was instructed to wait until they had availability. Absolute negligence. After several weeks and thousands of dollars later at 5280, I took the car to Salta Service and Performance. Steve had the car for two days and returned it in proper working condition. It s perfect! Two days not two months! Steve disassembled the steering system and noticed a few items that were not properly installed (by 5280). Steve reinstalled as well as replaced the pump again (remember 5280 did it twice). As I stated in the beginning, I ve been to several Audi mechanics in the Denver area and Salta is the only shop I can recommend. I take very good care of my car and I expect my mechanic to be more knowledgeable than myself. Not only are the guys at Salta genuinely nice, but they re professional, extremely knowledgeable and less expensive than some of the other shops in town. It should also be noted that Eric has yet to reimburse me for the additional costs spent at another shop to properly repair the car.

These guys are incredible. Very knowledgable and no BS. If you have a VW or Audi they're the best. When I was in college and had an older Audi A6 that would occasionally have problems, these guys treated me like family. I ve taken my VW CC here a few times for both big & small issues. Eric is very trustworthy & honest. He does quality work and is way more affordable than taking your VW to the dealer. I would definitely recommend his shop.

Eric and his team of experienced mechanics at 5280 motorsport have been working on our Audi for three years now. They do excellent work, the pricing is fair and we always pay a fraction of the cost of going to the Audi dealership or any chain repair shop. On multiple occasions they ve found the real issue with my car when Midas and the Audi dealership could not.Three of our friends with Audis go to this shop too and they ve never had a bad experience. I highly recommend getting your vehicle repaired at 5280 motorsports. I don t know how I would have afforded all of the repairs on my vehicle without them. I ve wasted time and money every time I ve gone elsewhere.

After 14 years and a combined 8 different VWs that Eric and his team have taken care of, I can easily say that they are the best and most trustworthy auto mechanics I ve ever come across. They are expert professionals, so aren t in the 10-minute oil change business, and I fully believe you get what you pay for. Over the years, there have been multiple times when in the process of diagnosing the issue, it took multiple trips to 5280 to get to the problem, but Eric was always very honest and fair; often, he wouldn t charge me a dime. Good luck getting that service anywhere else. I'd rather someone tell me honestly "We haven't figured it out yet" than an undertrained 21-year-old take a guess and charge me out the hose.If you want to support a multi-generational and local business who has decades of experience, look no further.

I have a VW and this place is the mechanic you've been looking for. Diagnoses are always no charge, and they have always given me options, and told me straight up. Eric even sent my car to the dealership for me to get the work covered under warranty. Man, it's great to have an auto mechanic you can trust.

Erik (the owner) and his mechanics are awesome. Took my old Jetta in and they took great care of my car while keeping cost in mind. They even fixed a bunch of random stuff for free. This is the spot to go in Denver if you own a VW. Don't bother with the stealership.

My new mechanic! I've lived in LoHi for 14 years and today was my first day working with Eric. He shot me straight on my brakes. He said I easily had another year, depending on my driving habits, before needing to replace. He said brake dust was most likely my issue for the squeaking. Brake check and oil change took no time at all. Thank you!!
