My wife and I travel around the country, a lot, entirely on our motorcycle so we have stayed in quite a few motels over the years. Some are forgettable, and some are memorable. The Riverwood Inn is definitely one of the more memorable ones for sure! The rooms have been updated recently with some nice modern conveniences and well done decor, the entire place is warm and friendly, EVERYTHING is nice and clean, (a huge plus in my book!), and the river view from the back yard chairs was fantastic! The wife and I are honestly thinking of making another trip out this way to see more of SW Colorado and the Riverwood Inn will be part of that plan for sure!!

This is a very nice, clean, quiet and recently renovated hotel. It is run with a self check in service where you use a code. It is conveniently located near groceries and fast food and the downtown area is just a short drive. It is dog friendly with a small fee per stay. There are nice areas to sit and walk along the river. There is a filtered water, ice & coffee area near the lobby with information about the area located there also.

I didn't encounter any staff during my three day stay but everything was well-provisioned, clean and comfortable. The room was great and I wish I had spent a little more time to just relax by the river. I recommend this as a place to station your exploration of Mesa / Delta / Gunnison counties.Rooms: Spacious, clean, and had all the necessaries.

I tortured myself for years staying at a cheaper hotel when I was in Delta, but I took a chance on Riverwood. I'll never stay anywhere else! I highly, highly recommend the King suite with a full kitchenette. It's pet friendly with a small fully fenced area for your dog that sits right on the river. They have an excellent, friendly housekeeper who's hands down the best in sanitizing and cleaning.Rooms: The king room is clean, relaxing, cozy, and fully stocked.Nearby activities: Everything you need and only 1/2 mile to the center of town!Safety: The safety is solid. Riverwood RV and Inn has a fully locked facility that offers keyless entry only and ring cameras are everywhere (except in rooms).Noteworthy details: Friendly, efficient house keeper. The laundry smells amazing! Zero unpleasant smells in room or hotel.

We did not receive the check-in instructions until after we checked in but the staff was really responsive when we called and the check-in was easy. Great location. The room was clean and cozy. The only negative is the outdoor lighting at night. It can't be turned off and there are no curtains in the rooms just blinds. So it was extremely difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep with all of the light coming in through the back door and window.

We stayed a week in a beautiful shady pull through spot. Everyone so kind and all things clean. This is a great spot to stay in Delta with easy access to everything. Best of all you can take relaxing walks along the river!

Super clean. Friendly staff. Very well updated. The outside gardens and public spaces are fabulous. The river is right there. There are a few struggles due to Covid protocols, but they are easily overcome. It is no frills, but we were gone all day. It was warm and nicely quiet at night. It is a hidden jewel for sure. I can not say enough about how nice this little place is.

Third time being here and we absolutely love it. A little out of our price range but has been worth it. Quiet, private, beautiful views and great rooms. I love the beds and comforters here. Very wonderful staff too.

Had a late night check in and he went above and beyond to take care of me. Rooms were super clean and remodeled, plenty of bright lighting in the room unlike most dimly lit hotels. River is a 30 second walk from my room. You can tell they take pride in the hotel, even the front garden was beautiful. Would stay there again.

Very peaceful and quiet especially being right on the road. Air conditioning didn't work the greatest but enjoyed are stayed. Rooms are somewhat updated so that is a plus too, and you have your own private fenced entrance so that's great for pets or children.

The towels smelled clean, very rare. Promptly received extra towels. The view was great, the entire room looked and felt clean. Loved the extras like the .fridge and microwave in room and the complementary soaps, shampoo, coffee etc. Room rates very reasonable and the breakfast had good variety. We will definitely be going back.

I rented for over 2 months. Aside from The ant infestation, the manager raised rent from $470 for a week to $900 for a week. When I said I couldn't pay that, the manager barged Into my room without knocking before my checkout time. She then aggressively grabbed my arm and assaulted me physically. Attempting to pull me out of my rented room physically almost 2 hours before my paid for check out time. The police were called as they continued to harass us as we were trying to pack up and leave. Charges will be pressed for trespassing and assault. DON'T STAY HERE!!! It's not safe!!!

The rooms were clean, nice river setting, but they never came with new towels ect. I was told because of covid they don't clean unless you specifically ask for it. We should have been told that on check in, so there are no surprises.

The owner is friendly and helpful, the room was EXTREMELY CLEAN and had no odors at all. Very nice linens and towels. Clearly the people running it take great pride in their work. It is also in a great setting right on the river. Highly recommend!

Nothing special about this place and yet they charge premium for an RV site. No body greeted us, nobody checked us in, we never saw anyone form the management present No fireplace at a riverfront aka premium site, no laundry service, not much to do in the area. We got lots of bugs from there though.

I stayed here for 2 months. The The new owners keep talking about all the upgrades they plan on, and some work is going on. However they doubled their prices and haven't stocked the showers and restrooms on a month. After 2 months the clothes dryer closest to the door still doesn't work. I left when they told me my next month would cost $ 900 with no fore notice.

Our family travels to Delta from the front range a few times a year for family reunion type trips. I have to say this is by far the absolute BEST place I have ever stayed in the area. The resort is completely remodeled & has that new construction smell. My favorite hands down feature is the proximity to the river. I travel with two Golden Retrievers and am one of those dog-centric owners. Well, they couldn't have been happier with their accommodations. They had their own little porch patio and river access. A quiet walk in the pristine woods; peaceful and so incredibly relaxing. The communication from the owner/manager was fantastic and super easy. All keyless entry so need need for messy keys or checking after hours. Our room was very very clean and we will 100% be back. I liked the room so much, I may never bring my travel trailer again however the camping area looked even more beautiful than the room resort area ! So thank you again for making our stay so easy ! see y'all again soon ! JFNoteworthy details: Dogs are very welcome and access to their own little patio is amazing and soooo convenient !

Our host was most accommodating, we lost our originally booked room for 5 nites with our dogs at another hotel nearby for mechanical issues and we were already in transit from New York state. We contacted Evan and he was very gracious and juggled some previously booked people so that he could keep us in the same room for all 5 nights. We were concerned since we didn't have any way to see the rooms etc. but being in a bind we booked. As it turned out the Inn was a beautiful place to fall into, the rooms were very neat and comfortable, clean and recently remodeled. The grounds were very well groomed and great for our dogs. Our room was on the very attractive riverfront with a little private back porch area that all the rooms had... very well thought out. The staff were extremely pleasant and responsive to the very minor needs we had, everything else was perfect already. We would go out of our way to stay here again if we are ever back in the area, it was very conveniently located for our travels in the San Juan Mountain area. Thanks again Evan. Mike & Diane V.

My family an I love to travel and usually bring our rv with us. Even though this places has an awesome rv park with 27 spaces with FULL Hookups This time we decided to get a room. And we stayed in 2 rooms that objected and had 2 queen size beds. The place I charming. Has 400 acres to explore and we where even allowed to do so with our atv and 4 wheeler. We where even able to find some deer and a bear. We love nature and riding our atvs. They had some small hills in the 400 crew where we where able to have some fun. We usually Don't stay in the same location more than once but this place was so amazing we WILL definitely be coming back
