We got stuck on the way down the Canyon from Telluride to Cortez, chewed up distributor gear, took a while to figure this one out. Kustom towing rescued us to their yard and the next morning and after some phone calls in vain, Kustom did some calls and got us to this place. Even while they were totally flooded with work, Charles and his son let me fix our RV in their yard, helped with troubleshooting, Charles is a real specialist on the Chevy Big Block, and provided parts and tools... I'm so grateful, they made us stay on track for the Matt's off-road games in Sand Hollow State Park Utah, the birthday present for my kido... Thank you guys! What a day saver!

LIFESAVERS!! My wife and I were travelling through Colorado in our campervan when it broke down just outside of Cortez in the Mountains. All other shops in town couldn't see us for over a week but Chuck and Dustin saw us first thing in the morning. The broken part (Turbo Boost Hose) was unique to Mercedes but they were able to locate one in Arizona and have it shipped to the shop ASAP. Meanwhile, they allowed us to spend the night in our camper at their shop since we couldn't drive anywhere. Chuck also gave us a power cord so we could hook up to shore power for the night.It's very rare these days, at least in my part of the country, to find a mechanic shop that could be this friendly, helpful and compassionate to total strangers. These guys took such good care of my wife and I and when the part finally arrived, they immediately got to work and had it installed within an hour. We drove 1,800 miles home without a single issue. Trip salvation. Our truck transmission started actually my up midway through a month long Colorado vacation. Once we arrived in Cortez, we googled diesel mechanics and found Diesel tech with all the good reviews, so we took a leap of faith and went for it. Turns out the stellar reviews are legit and well deserved. We came in with a bad ATM on an older model Chevy Silverado duramax and were welcomed cordially by Chuck, whose customer service was totally on point. After diagnosing the problem, and against the odds, Dustin sourced a good replacement part with a lifetime warranty (no longer dealer available). They installed it and got us back on the road in a couple of days. Truck is shifting better now than ever. Top notch facility and people. We wouldn t hesitate to trust them with our vehicle again. Thanks to Diesel Tech for a job well done!

Outstanding service, all the folks over at diesel tech were extremely helpful and actually fixed my fire engine right! Haven t had any issues since repairs were made by this shop.Thank you Diesel Tech of Cortez!

Dustin is awesome! Our rig is a retired school bus and sprung an oil leak while at Mesa Verde. I told Dustin the problem and he was able to track down a part and get us back on our journey the next day. He called a bunch of different places and cross checked things to make sure we got what we needed. Really thorough and knowledgeable. Thanks Dustin!

What a great experience. My truck broke down in Telludride, and the Cortez dealer said it would be 1 month before they can look at it. Diesel tech took care of me in a week. Also picked me up from the airport as a courtesy. Thanks guys!

These guys are awesome. They helped me out in a wonderful way. My Ram is still there and they accommodated it since i have become ill with COVID. I cant say enough good things bout them. They are replacing a transmission and im positive the work will be A-1 . I would recommend their shop to anyone. You wont be disappointed.

Outstanding customer service!! We were on our way from Durango when our 05 Duramax lost acceleration and went into limp mode. Called this place up and asked if they'd be able to see us and look at the code. They were able to see us the second we pulled in. Turned out to be a really simple fix (blown fuse for the lift pump) and 20 minutes later we were on our way. Didn't even charge us for the time. Very down to earth, knowledgeable people.

We were in an RV park and leaving in the am. Our check engine light came on and vehicle would come to a stop. I called Diesel Technology . We were able to have our truck in the same day and repaired. . They were so helpful, courteous. Diesel Tech is about the only option in town to work on our companies fleet delivery vehicles. They always get everything correct the first time. They do excellent work and they are even better people! Dustin consistently goes above and beyond to help insure we are taken care of!

These guys saved our vacation!! 6 calls...Cortez, Durango...everyone was busy and just not really interested in our little problems! These guys said bring it in and we ll do our best to get to it They did! Had us up and running in an hour! Honest, Reputable and Reasonable! The most helpful, friendly, and thorough mechanics I ve ever come across!We had some problems with our Skoolie while driving across country and we are so thankful that we happened to be in Cortez when it happened so Chuck and his crew could help us out.Extremely knowledgeable and helpful and fixed everything within just a few hours...on NYE no less! I was expecting to pay quite a bit given the situation but when the bill came out I was shocked at how inexpensive and fair it was. These guys are great!

We were from Idaho and these gentlemen treated us right all the way around even keeping the truck a few extra days until we could make the trip back to Colorado to pick it up. Reputable service and reasonable prices, where other places would and have price gouged, Diesel Tech treated us right! If I could give them more stars I would.

Justin was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Treated us out-of-towners very fairly even staying a little late Fri on a holiday weekend. Fixed our 7.3 power stroke's notorious turbo compressor surge when another shop in area was clueless. Very happy.

This place is amazing! Motorhome broke down 15 miles away and owner let us park in front of the shop for the weekend until the part showed up!! Christmas week on top of everything. Even though they were extremely busy, all the employees and owner came out and helped as much as possible and offered all the knowledge and advice! 5 star rating for helping us out-of-towners!
