If I wasn't already married.I'd marry The Transmission Clinic of Colorado Springs.They treat me better than my wife.They do everything I ask.They do it promptly.They never complain.Their work is always amazing!Many thanks to the ENTIRE team !!!

I lost $750, my time, my business with Transmission Clinic of Colorado Springs, and possibly my car.I brought in the car in person at first because I couldn t reach them via phone, and I was told to come back a week later. Since there were no shorter wait times, I decided to wait. When the time came, I brought the car in and explained what I knew.The car was initially brought in because of a noise coming from the front that was suspected to be the carrier bearing. $100 diagnosis fee, all is normal so far. About three days later, I was informed that the diagnosis concluded that the noise was the carrier bearing. I was told both CV axles needed to be replaced, and the new carrier bearings would be installed as well. About a week later, the work was done and I had a family member pick up the car and bring it home since I was busy.Upon the car being picked up, it was absolutely covered in grease on the interior (photos attached). The noise they claimed to have fixed on the receipt was still very obviously there, so they must ve not bothered to test drive the car either.I was told to bring it back in for a re-diagnosis, and they determined that it was a noise in the suspension. All of the suspension assembly is new, so I do not understand this. I was not reimbursed the initial $750 I spent to have the noise fixed.Since then, the car has developed a burning smell that smells like plastic and burning wires after driving it. I cannot make 100% firm decision that this is entirely the mechanic s fault, however it doesn t seem unreasonable seeing that the parts that were replaced connect directly to the transmission.Due to the reputation this business has established with me, I find it likely that the CV axles were not properly installed and have caused further damage.Seeing that the business hasn t violated my trust once, but rather twice, I cannot recommend them for services.

Half the price of our first quote with another mechanic. This team did what they said, completed the car as promised, and got us back driving. We appreciate the high-quality workmanship and great estimate for price and time to complete the tramission replacement in our family van.

Had my truck towed to the transmission clinic and Tom called me to let me know what they had found was wrong with the transmission.This transmission only had about forty thousand miles on it and had been rebuilt by another shop in town.They let me come down to the shop and take a look at the transmission and they showed me the parts of what was wrong and explained how they were going to rebuild with better parts than the original transmission had to begin with.It took them a minimum minimum amount of time to rebuild the transmission and when I got the truck back it was like a brand new truck that I had never driven before.The truck has way more power and has smooth shifting.I wholeheartedly recommend the transmission clinic for your vehicle!!

Horrible service. I had a driveline bolt I could've spit on and it would've fallen out. Just to show zero torque specs are followed.This shop had my truck for 4 weeks more than excepted due to a non available trans.From what I can tell they put a rebuilt trans for the cost of a new one without proper fluid in my truck for 7k plus. TheToyota fluid in my rig= complete lie.I brought it back a now I jave a driveline vibration they won't admit to any fault as all shops.!!!I will sue this company and will spend the rest of my trucks life defending it.I have pictures and videos supporting everything.Every time I bring it backs it gets worse = scammers!

Look elsewhere unless you enjoy giving your wallet away. $4200 just to rebuild a 4l60e. In comparison, every other shop has quoted $2200-$2800 for the same job. To make it even worse, I was quoted $4500 to replace the transmission AND transfer case. They either have a $250 labor rate, scamming or suck at their jobs

My reverse went out in my transmission shortly after arriving in Colorado Springs. I searched for a transmission shop with the best reviews. I called transmission clinic. They said it would be 2 to 3 wks before they could get a new one installed. They had it complete in less than 2 wks. My vehicle runs good and I have no complaints.

These guys are great! I had an issue with my Transmission module which kept giving off an error code but kept coming back. Sandler was able to inspect the transmission and found nothing wrong. He then updated the transmission module firmware and that did the trick! Thanks again! Highly recommended.

They did a great job of installing carbon syncros for me and pointing out some parts that needed to be replaced when i rebuilt my Toyota C60 from a Celica GTS, they also helped with my LSD installation. This transmission shifts better than it ever has now and is working great in my MR2.

Update - After a year of driving and about 18,000 miles I am still extremely happy with the work done to my truck. Not one issue. I did a lot of camping in the mountains and figured I want to keep this in great running order so I brought it back for a quick check and filter change in April 2021. They said everything looks good. Keep up the great work folks!I had an issue with my transmission. I found Transmission Clinic on Tom Martino's referral list. I dropped of my truck for diagnosis. They were quick to get the truck in and found the issue. They gave me options for repairs, no high pressure sales just the facts. Since the truck has 249,000 original miles on it I opted for a full rebuild with warranty. Truck was in and out within the week as promised. After about a month of driving the truck I am extremely happy with the work that has been done Smoother shifts and my mpg went up slightly as well. I am looking forward to pulling my camper into the mountains this summer.Service: Transmission

Very honest, stand by their word. They Did little extra things they didn't charge me for, highly recommended, best experience with a shop I've ever dealt with. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

I will never use transmission Clinic again and I will never recommend them to anyone it took them three and a half months to fix my Jeep every time that it was supposed to be ready they said two more weeks that went on for a month and a half I finally got my Jeep back woke up this morning with a puddle of transmission fluid underneath the Jeep called them they said that they couldn't fix it today that maybe they could get it done by the end of the week during that time that they didn't have my jeep fixed I had to rent a car for a month and a half and now they can't even give me a date that they can fix my Jeep so I'm going to have to rent a car again for them to fix it which they're not paying for horrible service

This business is truly excellent. Not only did they do what I asked them to do they definitely went the extra mile, which in today's day and age is sad to say... rare. They changed my transmission fluid and put in a new filter but also checked my engine oil and discovered I was three quarts low ! They then added the needed oil ! I have a bum knee and needed a short ride. Uber was gonna be like thirty minutes getting there, so they gave me a ride (using my vehicle) which I thought was brilliant. I'm not a new customer I've taken many vehicles to them over the years and they are definitely very consistently above par.Service: Transmission

Absolutely, positively, without hesitation recommend. Friendly, down-to-earth, honest, efficient, etc. Took our 2017 Ford Escape to the Ford DEALERSHIP (Phil Long), and was told the torque converter was going bad and it would be $4,200 to replace... took the car to TCCS and they flushed the transmission fluid and fixed the problem for less than 1/12th the cost. Saved me money and actually told me the trust about what was going on with the car.

My 2010 Suburban seemed to be having some intermittent minor shifting issues so my mechanic suggested I have Transmission Clinic check it out. Since I have almost 200k miles on this vehicle I was fully expecting them to tell me I needed a new transmission for $5k. They took the vehicle for the day to do a free transmission diagnostic.It was a pleasant surprise when Tom, the owner, called me personally to tell me that they had test driven the vehicle, run computer diagnostics and had it up on the rack and not been able to find anything wrong other than a motor mount that is worn out.They reset the computer so it could relearn the shifting it needed to do and told me to drive it for a week and see if it does better and let them know.Total charge $0.It s good to find an honest shop.

Transmission work is highly specialized, so I was referred to Transmission Clinic by another garage that I use frequently for more general maintenance/repair. We thought we had a transmission or clutch problem with our 2006 Toyota Corolla, and were afraid we were going have to spend $3 or $4 thousand on a car that is worth half that. We were so very happy to find out it was a far less expensive broken axle. We could not be happier with the staff at Transmission Clinic. They could have tried to sell us more than we needed. They didn't try to up-sell us or sell us something we didn't need. They diagnosed and repaired our car accurately and quickly. We were back on the road in a couple of days, and we didn't have to decide between an expensive repair or buying a new car. We have our old reliable and economical Toyota back and couldn't be happier. Thank you Transmission Clinic.

We are international travelers and we had a potentially significant problem with our transmission. Our truck was the limit of the Transmission Clinic's capacity but they still happily carried out the repair. If we hadn't had it repaired early it would have lead to a catastrophic failure. I am so glad we found this business. They definitely deserve their high rating in Google.

I thought it was the transmission. That's what I told Tom, the Owner, on the phone as I watched the tow truck drive away with my SUV. Prepared for an expensive repair, Tom called me to break the news. It was the front, left cv axle on my 4X4 that was the issue, not the transmission. There was no selling me a repair I didn't need in a new transmission. Although very busy and a transmission specialist, my axle repair was completed by Transmission Clinic and not referred out. There was genuine customer service over the phone and in person from Tom and his team. And, I had my SUV back in 48 hours. Thank you!Service: Steering & suspension repair

Where do I start....this is long but keep reading....We were passing through CO Springs enroute to Northern CO for a large girls softball tournament. A detour at Pikes Peak killed our trucks transmission and per several recommendations we were towed to Transmission Clinic. We were concerned that 1) we could not get truck fixed quickly 2) we could not get 3 players to the tournament in time.Don the owner, then informed us that due to a recent hail storm there were no rental cars to be had as rental fleets were all damaged. Many calls to all agencies confirmed this was true - we were stuck! Due to the age and damage to our transmission , we needed a rebuilt unit. We were informed that they had one on the shelf but since it was the end of the day it would be the next day before it could be completed. We still needed to get our players to North CO in time for the tournament. Don , having been quite involved in softball as well , understood our dilemma. Like a true saint, Don did the unthinkable and gave us the keys to his personal vehicle so that we could get players and gear to the tournament on time ! Don's trust in total strangers is proof that humanity and good customer service is still alive and well ! Don, we can't thank you enough for helping get our team to Triple Crown Nationals and our transmission is running perfect all the way back to Texas!

Having the right equipment/computer to diagnose my Allison transmission was an absolute and reason why I sought a second opinion. I was very happy with Owner/Tom's professionalism after my initial call and conversation with him. He also let me know that they do not charge for diagnosing. During the government shutdown, uncertainties, finances and COVID19 I was concerned with finding the problem and getting the solution as to a guess and seek. Tom's willingness to answer questions and provide options and quotes made the decision for his shop to do the work on my truck easy and with reassurance. I am very satisfied with the work, and results of the crew at Transmission Clinic of Colorado. Bertha is back rollin.

The Transmission Clinic was fantastic to work with! They kept me up to date on what was happening with my car and estimated ETA's. They were great at communicating and were up front with everything they needed to and the reasons why they needed to do it. They told me prices up front and gave me choices to work with.

After talking to a few transmission shops and working with transmission clinic since December I trust them the most with my jeep. So far they gave me very high trust in them so I'll be taking it in and letting people know the results when it's done. Only had one shop work on my jeep in the last 3 years and if this shop does good it'll be one of 2 shops I mention when people ask who helped built it.So glad I used transmission clinic. Tom and his crew are A+ in my book. I will definitely be letting people know how my experience was with the best guy I've dealt with and I for sure will be back.Service: Transmission

Thank you Tom!! Took my truck in back in October because my transmission temp was overheating. He thought a flush would take care of it but was still having issues. Dropped my truck off after I got a transmission check engine light. They had it tested and diagnosed in a day and I was able to pick it up the day after. Nothing was wrong with my truck and they actually walked me through the transmission, common problems I may experience, and solutions/ maintenance in the future. I will only be taking my truck to this shop for any future transmission work

I own a 2016 Honda CRV with 97,000 miles on it. I brought my vehicle into Tom s shop with the knowledge that my car may need a new transmission. He came back and informed me that it was the transfer case causing the issue. For the following 6 months, I brought the car back to the shop multiple times because a new very specific issue was occurring. We replaced the unit with a used transfer case three times. I agreed to have a new unit put in and the issue continued. I finally gave up after consulting with 4 additional mechanics and took it to the dealership. The dealership informed me that incorrect fluid was placed in the transmission which could have been part of the problems I had been facing the past 6 months potentially leading to the failure in my transmission. Now after wasting time, money, and resources I will need to replace the transmission on my car. Tom admitted his mistakes and refunded my money. If you are a Honda owner I would highly consider looking elsewhere for transmission services to insure that Genuine Honda fluid is being placed in your car.Service: Transmission

These guys are lifesavers. Me and a couple friends started putting a clutch on my 93 Isuzu and weren t able to get the transmission back on because I ended up getting a blood clot in my leg.I know how much of a pain it is to pick up in the middle of someone s else s work. So I was hesitant to even ask. Tom spoke with me over the Phone and said they d be happy to try and gave me a very reasonable quote.I hauled it over there on a Friday (they re closed on weekends). I didn t bother to check, my fault. I left it parked at a nearby business and Callee the shop on Monday. They were nice enough to tow it into the garage for me at no charge. We had to order a part, they waited patiently for the part to come in, installed it quickly. They took it fit a year drive and something didn t feel right to them so they took it back in to adjust the pedal before releasing it to me. Even though it took longer than expected, they stuck to the original quote and I can t express how grateful I am. This is my daily driver, my source of income, my off-roading rig, and they don t make them anymore. I m attached. They saved my best friend. Thanks Tom. I really appreciate your entire crew. This shop installed my dad s transmission in his 03 Caddy and did a amazing job. Today my dad went there to get a transmission leak looked at and they were able to fixed it right away. My mechanic recommended Transmission Clinic. Tom and his team diagnosed the problem and rebuilt my transmission within the time frame and cost they estimated. Very professional, competitive price and responsive to my texts and phone calls. They even took care of an additional issue that came up at no cost to me. They give a 3 year , 50k mile warranty on their rebuilds. So far my truck runs great and I am pleased with their work.Service: Transmission
