TJRC has always been available and professional to help correct any mechanical issues and has done so in a cost effective manner. I would highly recommend to anyone with a European vehicle in the springs area.

I took our car in to get work completed. They did the work well but a week later I opened the engine bay to check the oil and to my surprise they did not reattach the air box. I tried calling them and left a few messages with no response.I thought I had found a decent auto shop but they disappointed me. I am back to working on my own stuff. At least it gets done properly.Service: Transmission

*Beware* I was quoted $500 to fix the thermostat and thermostat housing on my Audi TT. When I picked it up, I was charged $825. I was told they charged me for an hour's worth of labor to do a radiator flush. Not only that, they disconnected my alternator and did not reconnect it, so my battery kept dying. When I reached out to them about this, I was met with crickets. They never even got back to me. I have taken my car here multiple times, and they always charge me more than I was quoted. They also always leave something little for me to fix. I will not be back after this one. I recommend finding somewhere else.

Absolutely a great crew! I got a Airlift Suspension in my 63' Impala and it is feels, works, and looks amazing! Affordable and GREAT work. TJRC is the best in the buisness here in the springs, and I won't take my euro car anywhere else if I can help it. They're cool dudes, very professional, and get everything done in a timely manner and do good work. What makes these guys really special, is how much they stand by their own work. I recently found myself in a really tricky scenario and these guys helped me navigate an incredibly confusing and stressful situation and I cannot thank them all enough. They have always done quality work for me, at a fair price and are an absolute WEALTH of information. I can only speak to their BMW service, but if you need repairs, mods, alignments, inspections, etc. you should give them a call to see what they can do for you.

James and his team consistently went the extra mile to help me finish up my 1.8T swap into a Porsche Boxster. The crew is very knowledgeable about Audi/VW motors. It's complicated, took my car in for major work and got it back the next day.The good: They charged very good and affordable prices and did the job in a good amount of time too. The shop was very vocal about what they needed to do and how they went about it. They also use customer parts if you ask which is nice.The bad: the car had spark plug wires in the wrong order (causing misfires and poor preformance) and a screw clamp was hitting a radiator fan. It was VERY audible too, so it was definitely ignored given i noticed it 5 minutes after turning the car on (this tells me the job was rushed). They let me know my passenger axle was going out and asked if they could replace it, to which I said yes. However it turns out they replaced both axles and didn't use OEM spec (the axles they put in are far skinnier than the stock ones and won't last with the engine I have in the car).Overall the shop offers good pricing that doesn't break the bank but when I pay full price for a professional repair, I expect to not have to work on my car afterwards to fix things caused by the car being put back together wrong. I really didn't want to give this type of review because the staff was really friendly but I feel I NEED to be honest as a reviewer. Had I only had the knowledge of your average car owner I would've had to bring it back in to get the mistakes fixed. I won't discourage anyone from coming here because mistakes happen but I don't feel confident in coming back myself.

James and his crew took my 1985 Vanagon from yard art with a seized engine to a van that runs and drives great. Their work is both excellent and fairly priced. James kept me well informed about what was being done throughout. This is a great business that Colorado Springs is lucky to have.

This is literally the only place I go for work on my car. James is an excellent mechanic that takes his profession seriously and isn't the type to hustle you out of money. I've been going to him for about 3 years now with various types of work. He will be the only mechanic that has touched my car since I've owned it and I'll keep it that way as long as I can

TJRC is perhaps the best mechanic I have found in the state of Colorado. They do everything from mild to wild in terms of builds and maintenance. I brought my 2003 VW Jetta with the 1.8t to do a timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and related seals. They did more than I even expected as I left a box of aluminum replacements for the various coolant junctions in the trunk and they installed those for me as well. I'm very happy with TJRC. They recently did the brakes on my 2015 allroad and previously did some work on my son's Tiguan. What I liked is that they ordered the kit from ECS Tuning, so I know exactly what is being installed. I paid for the brake components and they did the installation and paid for the time/labor. These guys are passionate about what they do. The shop is not fancy, but they get the job done! I will absolutely be going back to them.

Careless work, had my vehicle back for an hour, then a part they just replaced came flying off in traffic. Of course charged me more to fix again. Also was missing a few plastic weather covers. When I asked about the missing weather covers James started making threats... least to say I thought I was friends with Andrew so I figured this would be the best place to take my bmw at the time.

Owner is a solid dude. He'll do whatever he can to get your vehicle build to where you want it. Whether it's simple maintenance work or a gnarly power build, you're not gonna find a better shop.
