10 stars! Travis deserves recognition for his integrity, honesty, craftsmanship and collaboration! He's a small business owner who cares about his quality, his shop and THE CUSTOMER! I think he's a one man show and his final product is 10 stars.My back story:1. 33 year old technology professional2. 20+ years motorcycle racer and mechanic3. Computer engineer4. Graphic Artist5. Metal and wood fabricatorWhat I Wanted:1. Low End Torque2. Minimal Internal & External Sound3. Performance on Acceleration4. A Dual Wall 12" Tip (lined up the way I wanted)Here's my story. I called 3 shops... Muffler Masters, Front Range Muffler and The Muffler Shop.First I spoke to John at Muffler Masters, seemed nice on the phone, looked up my vehicle and listened to what I said I wanted. Quoted me $200-$220 for a manga flow but the tip was gonna be extra and labor to weld it in was gonna be extra. Said he had a lot of tips in stock to choose from. Said they could do it that day.Called The Muffler Shop, spoke to Travis, listened to what I wanted, looked up my vehicle, recommended the Magna Flow too, had the Muffler in stock, quoted $200-$220 for the muffler and install, said he had tips in stock to choose from but a tip is extra, install was included if I purchased the tip. Said he was busy but could do it within 3 days.Called Front Range Muffler, spoke to an older gentleman. I apologize for forgetting his name. He was great! Told him my vehicle but couldn't look it up, listened to what I wanted, recommended the 70's series flowmaster big block 2, more expensive but much quieter with a little grumble and purrrr. Quoted $189-$220 for the magna flow and $80 more for the 70's series. Tip was gonna be extra and labor was included if I purchased a Muffler from him.A few days go by and I decide to get it done so I drove around to all three shops and here's the story:Called Muffler Masters and spoke to John. He said come on down next 30 minutes and could squeeze me in but was busy. I drive 28 miles and show up. 4 guys are sitting around in the bay... it's clearly not busy. I ask for John. John walks up and says... "Here's the deal... I don't have your Muffler ( he just told me he did 30 minutes before ) but I do have this used magna flow that I cut out of a classic car. It's a little bit rusted but I'll polish it up and make it look nice. I'll do it today if you have CASH ONLY for $150." I stayed calm and asked to see the tips he had in selection. He tries to sell me a cheap single wall for $65 and not including labor to instal. This is a $20 tip. The tip selection was small. The only tip I liked he said was $120 and labor wasn't included. Sooooo I'm just thinking to myself WOW DUDE. you clearly should talk to your customers before assuming they're 1. Cheap 2. Shady 3. A sucker. He then pulls down the Muffler and shows me it. The inlet and outlet only have 1-2" left on the pipe after being cut out and the inlet and outlet pipes were at least 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" diameter and they welded it to a 3" pile setup... which blocks the airflow. So I shook his hand and left KNOWING I WOULD NEVER TRUST HIM WITH MY TRUCK!Soooooo.... TRAVIS did my trick today! 10 STARS!The truck runs EXACTLY how I wanted! So if you read this Travis... you don't have to swap it out! The sound is PERFECT. Low grumble. Low purrrrr. Half the noise pollution of any other Flowmaster when I drop a gear and go under load on up hills. I have noticeable low end torque and acceleration and the shift patterns hold longer on the up hills so I have more power all the way up the hill without it slugging out a bit.COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!!!!!Winner: The Muffler Shop at $284 installed including Stainless steel twin wall tip, 70's series flowmaster big block 2 Muffler, installed and custom tip positioning! All in under 1.5 hours and the welds are solid!Travis is the man! SUPPORT A LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS OWNER WHO CARES! He has 15 years experience and is a craftsman and it trade. I offered to buy him a beer!

I rarely rate businesses, but I will make an exception for my experience with Travis and his shop. If you want honest, quality work...you need to call and get on his schedule. If I ever have more exhaust projects, this is the place I'll go. I will also do my best to refer customers, especially those with antiques/classics who have special exhaust builds, as he had a passion for cars.

They were able to install electronic exhaust cutouts. Even walked me through it and very supportive and knowledgeable. Even did quick work and excellent craftsman ship for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend anyone who wants to do performance exhaust work.

Fast, quality service from Travis at the Muffler Shop. I called him about customizing my Pontiac G8 GT exhaust and he was very knowledgeable about my options. I was actually requesting a complete redo in order to achieve a better sound and he was able to give me a more cost-effective setup in less than two hours. He saved me over $400 when compared to others that I had called and were willing to do basically "useless" modifications. I strongly recommend anyone looking for upgrades or even simple repairs to take their vehicle to the Muffler Shop. He was upfront with costs and came in well under the quoted price. The business fully supports the military community and I was treated like family. Thanks for your help Travis on making my GT ROAR!

Won't be going anywhere but The Muffler Shop for my automotive exhaust work. Fit me into his schedule when every place else was too busy. Travis is your go-to guy! Experience. Quality Work. Reasonable Rates. You can't lose! Highly recommended! You won't be disappointed.

The staff here are awesome. They really know what they are talking about and care about the customer. They were happy to help my buddy get a new muffler and were very knowledgeable about the performance and sound of their different products. The owner of the shop was happy to show us how the vehicle sounded straight piped and discuss the downsides and improvements from an enhanced exhaust.

My exhaust was sputtering and I googled exhaust repair near me. I saw this shop and called from their parking lot as they posted by appointment only. The owner Travis answere and said he would take a look. He diagnosed the problem immediately and agreed to fix it right there and then. After numerous cts and welds he was finished and the exhaust works like new. Such an honest and bright young man. An absolutely awesome experience! Thank you so much Travis. Brought my car into the shop to have a bend added to direct exhaust down rather than straight out behind my car so that my bicycle rack wouldn't be damaged by the gasses. The shop is clean and everyone is polite. They had me back my car in and welded on a tip while I waited and the price was more than fair. Highly recommend.

I have been all around and he is the best muffler shop I could find. Best work, clean shop, and best price. He is down to earth and easy to work with. He also went out of his way to help me get my truck the way I wanted it.Highly recommend

Travis was awesome to work with. I needed a custom X pipe fabricated and a center resonator removed. He did it all in 3 hours. The pipes and welds look solid! My car sounds amazing and I couldn't be more happy!

I highly recommend this place! The people who work here are so kind and patient! I went in not knowing exactly what I wanted and they helped me pick out the things that worked best on my car! The man was very efficient and got the job done quickly and with great quality and care. 5 out of 5 stars for these guys.

My husband wouldn't go anywhere else for exhaust. Travis always helps him with his builds and he enjoys talking to him about his work and cars. Best place in town.

Had a catalytic converter replaced there yesterday in a 2003 Mazda Protege. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Job was completed in just a few hours, and the price was very competitive. Would definitely recommend.

Best exhaust shop by far. They were closing when I walked in and still did wonders to my car without any hesitation. Did not rush the job nothing. Better welder than anyone I ever met, all around best exhaust shop.
