DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. DO NOT PAY IN FULL, it won t get any work on your car done faster. If you are planning on doing a full build or getting a lot of work done get a written agreement of payment installments based on work completed. Handed them a check for the full quoted initial invoice before they even received the car, and had the additional amount paid within the first 5 months the project started. I picked up my car over 2.5 years after dropping it off not completed. The wheels took the longest to acquire of the parts that were ordered with a wait time of a year and half. There was other work performed by different shops leading to the time frame of over 2.5 years, this review is for TGA not the other shops involved with this project. If TGA recommends getting work done by other shops, do business with those shops individually not with TGA as a whole project, or them being the middle man. If there is a time frame you want your car to be done by, get that in writing to hold them accountable otherwise it s getting put on every back burner with whatever excuse they have to give you. Keep communication over their business email, not over phone calls, to have everything documented on your end as a customer, do not delete any conversation.

Great experience. Pulled 70hp out of my 2014 WRX with down pipe, intake and tune. Car runs better than before with more power. I highly recommend TGA. Subaru specialist!!!

Took my WRX in to add some aftermarket parts, had an awesome experience. Great quality work, for a good price. Will be coming back in the future. Always love to support local business, & TGA Performance has definitely earned a return customer in me.

When considering a shop to entrust with performing work on my vehicles, I look for a shop that operates on the bases of:-Diligence-Knowledge-Integrity-TimelinessI have entrusted TGA Performance to work on my Subaru vehicles on various occasions throughout the years. One of these vehicles is a 1993 Impreza WRX, imported from Japan. Because the USA never received these models when they were produced new, data on parts interchange and compatibility is very limited here. Most of the time, parts compatibility is a matter of trial and error. Regardless of the uncharted nature of this car, Jake and his team at TGA Performance have willingly continued to help me keep this now 31 year old car on the road - and performing in top shape at that.It is emboldening to work with a shop who values the aforementioned list of qualities. I am very thankful for TGA Performance and their wealth of knowledge, experience, and continued proficiency. I am looking forward to doing future business with TGA Performance as we work together to pave the way for not only making a JDM Subaru fun to drive in Colorado Springs, but practical to own as well.

Unfortunately the tuner spun a bearing in my car this was back in 2020-2021 era. I put so much money ( around 10k-12k)and time into the car and went all the way through the proper break-in. Keep in mind the tuner at the time was blowing up Hondas they didn t want to help me at all and said your better off selling it. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!

Special thanks to Greg, Rory, and John for taking on this unique project of turbo charging my Corolla. It was definitely worth the long wait. Not only do these guys do amazing work, but they also care about the customer. They treat your car as if it's their own and the proof is in their work. I recommend TGA Performance to everyone, whether you need a simple oil change to a very complex build like mine.

The guys @ TGA have been an incredible team to work with. They remember your name and help you build exactly what you're looking for. John, their tuner, is on a completely different level and strives to make perfection happen every time. And the proof is in the dynotunes and after-tune checks ups. Do your CAR (not just subies) a favor and let these guys help you manifest your dreams.

$500 to look at my buddys suspension and tighten bolts that probably didn't even get touched. Flat out embarrassing that a lot of people warned us about how money hungry this place is. He did in fact pay, seems like they needed it more than him.No doubt these people are experts, but that s crazy.UPDATE: screwed up 4 of his lug nuts, torquing isn t a thing I guess.Took it there to diagnose the problem, and they pretty much said they couldn t find or hear anything. I m no expert but when he brought the car over to my place, I can hear the axle clear as day. And sure enough that s exactly what it was.

TGA performance has been more than good to me and my project cars. I highly recommend them not only for Subarus but also for V8 project cars as well.

These people wasted over 6 months of my time and overcharged me by probably double. They didn't really do much to my van, shortened a throttle cable. Woo -hoo. I drove it out of their shop and directly to another shop to have it properly looked over. Since I finally got my vehicle back from them after wasting a half a year waiting on them, I have realized what a terrible experience it was. Completely incompetent, lazy and disrespectful. I'm looking into reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, just based on how long they kept my van, how little they did and how much I was charged. Outrageous.

100% the place to bring your car. Don t bother messing things up trying to install it yourself, these folk are knowledgeable, honest, and Reasonably priced for the services rendered. And they keep you updated on parts shipments, and keep you in the loop when trying to help ya get your baby where you want it to be. Brittany has the drive to properly research any questions you have and jakes passion for making cars zoom is contagious.

Subaru? This is your shop. The guys at TGA are veteran owned and Subaru experts. That being said, whatever your application is this shop can work on it. I come to this shop specifically because I know that I ll have the peace of mind that my vehicle is going to be fixed correctly and to specifications.

Customer service is above and beyond! TGA made me feel kind of like I was on Overhaul. Will be getting more work done by them in the future! (Summary: TGA is dishonest.) TGA performance is indeed a high quality shop that specializes in Japanese performance cars. The problem I have with them is their complete lack of integrity. I was lied to on multiple occasions. My first experience with them was quite good, they fixed the solution in a professional manner. However, later the car began to overheat and I took it to them again for help. They ignored my observations and "fixed" the solution. On the way home it overheated again so I took it back. This time they told me that they would drive it for at least 30 minutes to make sure it worked. Lo and behold, 15 minutes down the road from the shop it overheated again. Now, this time I took it back albeit a bit infuriated at their seeming disregard of care and they apparently did a head gasket test for me and a few other tests because they "felt bad". Come to find out, by way of another shop that indeed my head gaskets are not functioning, causing my car to overheat. Either they are incompetent at testing or they simply lied to me once again. On top of this dilemma, quite literally every time that I was quoted a price on the phone, the end price would be different. I understand that things happen but every time, I was told "blank price (out the door)" leading one to believe that this would indeed be the final price. The utter lack of honesty concerns me. DO NOT take your car to this shop unless you are going to be paying for extensive work, otherwise they will not take you seriously and quite possibly take a great deal of advantage of you as they did me.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My wife and I wanted to do a full workup and repair of her 2011 Subaru Outback. The vehicle still performed reasonably well, but there had been significant loss of power and performance over the last 2 years. TGA did a full diagnostic of the vehicle and provided their recommendations. We had them do all but one of the recommended fixes as they not only explained what was going to be done but also provided pictures. The before and after performance was very noticable. My wife said that it was a significant improvement and after driving it for a few weeks, it is safe to say that we got everything we wanted out of the repair/maintenance. The communication was solid and the work was of high quality. While they do focus on Subaru, they also do domestic and other Japanese vehicles. Jim, Spencer, Caleb and the entire team at TGA know what they are doing and take the time explain their recommendations and work. I am careful with who I let work on my built bug eye, but I knew I could trust them. They hunted down several hard to isolate oil leaks until every single one was fixed. They also installed an AOS to improve performance and longevity by minimizing the infamous Subaru oil consumption. No job is too big for them, and they do it right. I will be returning to TGA with my bug eye every time it needs work. Thank you!

I only gave a 5 Stars because I had to, they didn't have 10 Stars to post! My husband needed to have his turbo replaced, engine, and God knows what else done. The list of repairs was huge. TGA was very helpful in explaining everything that was wrong and how they would be able to fix it. They did not pressure me into getting un-needed things. There was a few other things that needed to be done but they said I had plenty of time to get it done. They were very affordable. I was very happy that the only thing that I had to pay upfront was the parts. Since there was a lot of work that needed to be done, I was able to take time to pay off the rest. Alex made sure that he kept me up-to- date. Any time I had any questions, I knew I could call him at anytime and ask. When I got my husband car back, Alex made sure he explained everything to me that was done. I will be taking my vehicle in soon to get checked out and I don't have to worry about them saying that things are wrong that aren't. They definitely have their customers as top priority! I had dropped my car off to get tuned. Got my car back saying theres nothing they can do. When I went back to my car to start it up it was completely TRASHED. All my personal belongings all over the place and even a food smeared into the seat. After weeks of talking to the there we agreed upon them fixing my car (ordering me a boost gauge and detailing my car). A couple weeks passed since then given I had to travel for work and got sick. I finally get around to calling back to them and they stated that the gauge was ready for me to purchase from them. They fired the guy who agreed to fix my car and is now stating anything he says/said is not credible/honorable. After showing all the documentation (voicemails) I had of them saying they'd fix the parts that were damaged under their care.They are also now saying they are NOT liable for whatever happens to the cars in their possession in their lot.Service: Engine repair

Their inspection is amazing. For $100, we got a thorough inspection on a vehicle we'd just purchased.The service advisor talked us through all the issues with pictures to ensure we understand everything. She even helped us rank the items in order or importance!

These guys are awesome! If you have a modded Subaru and need something done this is where you need to be! They were super helpful and up front about the issue I took my car in for as well as helping make me aware of all the current issues with the car. There was no pressure to get everything fixed or anything for that matter! I am very satisfied with the repair they have already done and I can not wait to work with them for more improvements and maintenance in the future! Do yourself a favor and talk to these guys!

TGA does some backwards work. You ll need to record yourself there and any conversations you have because they go back on their word, string you around , and your car will be a mess. Choose a different shop to actually get the work done.
