Mike and the guys over at spyder were nothing short of amazing. From the customer service to communication they made sure to exceed my expectations. They were diligent in making sure I got exactly what I wanted and made sure they filled me in on layout of my paint to make sure I was good with it before just jumping in. I will absolutely recommend them and any custom paint I have going forward will go to their business!Service: Painting

I had a fantastic experience with Spyder Paint and Collision! I was rear ended last July and really struggled finding a company that worked with the at-fault insurance and could get me an appointment within a reasonable time frame. The place we originally took my car to took 4 months for the appointment and then let it sit on the lot. My attorney called around and found Spyder Paint and Collision for me. They got me in within 2 weeks AND used that waiting time to have all the parts ordered. Parts got there the day I dropped off my vehicle and it was finished so fast I was shocked! Mike has great customer service and the photos speak for themselves with how great the repairs and paint match were done. I am beyond satisfied and just dropped my car off again for a different incident because I know I can trust the work done at Spyder Paint and Collision. First and last time using Spyder I have never heard so many excuses for poor quality. The guy tried to smooth out the new paint job as best as possible but I still have to take it somewhere to get finished. I do not recommend these guys for anyone that wants a nice paint job.

Been here before for just a bumper and paint he did great. Came again recently and definitely was not as happy as before. Had my headlights replaced but to only have one replaced. Bought a new set to do it myself. Mis matching headlights if you fix one headlight dont have them mis matched.... Was told my vehicle was ready on Friday was definitely lacking. Light was misaligned bad. Also had wheel damage that they could not diagnose or fix. Would reconsider a different shop for body work. (Was not informed on what damages were paid for by insurance coverage.) They are very talented with painting and would go back for that.

This shop did a great job restoring my one owner owned 87 Toyota pickup. They don't leave any of the details undone - Pulling the bed and restoring any rust, pulling the dents, and repairing the trim. My truck is now an eye catcher to people who walk past it. The only problem I have is knowing where to park it in the parking lot so I don't get door dents. A big thumbs up to Mike on fixing my baby.....Service: Painting

We went to see Mike for our 07 Chevy Tahoe that had the side door moldings peeling off and a missing fog light. Within a few hours he and Juan had the them off and all the glue cleaned off and the fog light was replaced. They also cleaned up the car and did some detailing.We are very grateful and we highly recommend them!Thanks Mike and Juan!Service: Body & Trim

Mike with Spyder Paint & Collision is Old School Solid. I dropped off a blank aftermarket Tour Pak to have painted to match the paint scheme on my bike just before the Sturgis Rally that I needed in time to install hardware and have available for our trip. Mike basically said he could do it and quoted me with a Handshake. I picked it up as promised and the paint match did not disappoint. Very Professional with matching quality. I wish I knew more businesses that remember the old ways. Thanks Spyder Paint. Thanks Mike

I can't say enough good things about this place. I've been coming here for years with three different cars, and they've always done fantastic work at extremely reasonable prices. Plus the owner, Mike, is one of the kindest and most helpful people I've ever met. I stopped by one day a few weeks ago looking for some advice on selling my car, and he was extremely helpful and generous with his time. Today I called asking if he could put a front license plate bracket on my new car. He got me in with half an hour's notice and took care of it as soon as I arrived. Highly recommend Spyder's, they are good people and do great work.

I have a 20+ year old blazer that has some issues. Most places wouldn t even touch it, and the ones who would wanted ridiculous money to do so.Mike got me in super quick and charged about one-FOURTH the price another place has quoted me. I went back a couple weeks later with an unrelated issue, and he got me in and taken care of THAT DAY.I highly recommend Spyders.

Mike and his family/ team did an incredible job fixing the damage on my vehicle. He was incredibly honest and walked me thru all the charges and the entire procedure writ large. He continued to updated me on the progress and gave me a realistic time window. While going over the paperwork he discovered a charge for something that they actually didn t end up needing and he told me about it and deducted it from the final payment. I loved the customer service and work that Spyder Paint and Collisions provides and I will definitely return in the future!

Took them 4 months to give me my car back with missing bolts and work that I had to finish myself. One of the hinges on the trunk (missing a bolt) looks like a monkey beat it with a hammer. This place seems to be run by people who like to sit and pick their nose instead of working on the car that you rely on.

Very satisfied with their work and great customer service. They painted the woodstock neck of my BC Rich Warlock and were able to match the neck with the original color of the body. So I have been wanting to paint my bike just like the EVH stripped guitar for abbots year. Eddie Van Halen and I were both born 1955. We both played in many of the same type of places in our 20s. I play lead guitar in the band Full Throtte. I had no idea who to choose for this important project to me. I brought it down to Spyder s and talked about what I was looking for Mike said I can do this So I took the chance and had him take on the project. I wish I could describe what went through me when I picked up everything. I had the fenders, fuel tank and the oil done. I don t have the bike here with me as it s getting the 5k check up. But when I do I will put pictures of the entire bike on here. Who knew this type of talent existed in the Springs. So thanks Spyder!

Had a fantastic experience with Spyder Paint & Collision Inc. My stock hood was destroyed in a summer hail storm and they were able to get me in quick, match the paint perfectly, and have everything ready to go in less than a week from drop off. I highly recommend this company and will be a repeat customer, every summer...

Absolutely PHENOMENAL service!!! From now on I will only use Spyder for any paint/ body work needed. These guys went above and beyond for me, not to mention how outstanding their customer service was!!! I brought my car to them on a Thursday for an estimate and had my car back by the following Thursday with all work completed. Not to mention these guys detailed the inside my car. I want to thank Syder Paint & Collision for doing such an amazing job! It s a one year only SRT8 with only 3,000 made. They were able to source all the hard to find parts & rebuild the ones they couldn t find. I m glad I took it to them otherwise the insurance would have totaled it.

Just wow! I have a bicycle which my mom bought me for my 8th birthday in 1978. It was a rust bucket and had somehow survived over the years. I decided to tear it down, repack the bearings, clean it up, and have it painted. Mike did a wonderful job. The frame, forks, and handle bards look AMAZING! If you have any painting projects, I highly recommend Spyder Paint and Collision. They are friendly, work with you personally, and take the time and care to not only do good work but to work with you on your exact needs. Great customer service and quality work is difficult to find now a days, but Spyder has it all. Thanks guys! Photos will come once I'm done assembling!Service: Painting

Fantastic small business for paint and body work! Mike did a wonderful job on my son's truck. He was always great communicating with my 17 year old son about the progress on his work. We will use Spyder for any future needs and highly recommend them to anyone that needs work.

This is the worst body shop in town! They do an extremely poor job at repairs! I got my car serviced there and when I went to go pick up my car, there was a warning label on my dash that said check so I had to go back into the shop and tell them! Mike had to come out to my car and plug-in 4 different things and just said oh sorry ! And since I got my car back, my door pops and makes extremely loud noises and is causing further damage to my door! The owner then demands $1200 for poor work and causing further damage to my vehicle! The owner is very rude and not approachable!Service: Body & Trim

So one of my fender panels popped out when I hit a curb. The guy at the front desk whose name I didn't catch stopped what he was doing and immediately came out and fixed it for me free of charge. 1966 Thunderbird, Ivy Yellow - I've been in & out of the hospital, and have been having some pretty serious health problems. I asked Mike to smooth out my RR fender, adjust my bumper, smooth out a small spot under the rear bumper, and get the line on the left side of my bumper to line up with my fender.I'm satisfied with the front bumper adjustment and the spot under my rear bumper, but I've wanted to go talk to Mike about taking another whack at the RR fender/quarter. I don't want to be one of the ONLY negative reviews, I just wanna get those guys to take another look.I didn't notice how wavy my car still looked until the next sunny day. I'd have already called or gone by, but I am haven't been fit to try conducting business. I didn't ask to get the whole car smoothed out & painted, cause I'm looking for the right place before I risk money like that. I guess, I'll see how it goes. I guess, I'm gonna try to talk to him on the phone this week; I'll adjust the review accordingly.Mike, if you get this before I'm able to handle my business, and would take another swing, please gimme a call or respond here!-pete (from Manitou, on crutches)

My sons friend is 17 years old. His grand cherokee hit some black ice and ran into a telephone pole. His parents told him he was responsible for it. And he got a recommendation to bring it to this shop for a free estimate. He brought it in on Monday at 11:30 in the morning he got it towed in. He received the estimate ten minutes before close of business that day. Since his folks are having him pay for it himself he didn t have all the money to get the $2000 estimate which seems fair. However less 24 hours of dropping it off, I spoke to Mike who is the owner of the shop who said that if he wasn t getting the work done there and he would be charged a storage fee of $35 Per day. Mike insisted that it had been there on Monday and then Tuesday ( I picked it up at 10:30 am Tuesday)that started a new day so he insisted $70 to release the vehicle from the free estimate. He explained that the estimate was free if we got the work done there. He also mentioned that this was common practice for any shop in the Colorado Springs area. I called three shops one was big the other two were small. None of them do this practice when you bring the car in for an estimate.He also said that he went to hours looking for used parts to fix the vehicle. I appreciate that he went out of his way to help this kid out but really you re going to charge a 17-year-old that is trying his best to be a man for two days of storage. I don t have a problem with small businesses trying to survive. But this is just poor. The 17-year-old kid did not sign anything and when I mention that I said can I get the piece of paper that he signed saying that he would have to pay a storage fee Mike replied oh it s a verbal contract he didn t sign anything. Nice work Mike good luck to you and your business

Spyder's is amazing! They mixed custom paint to match my vehicle (which is an uncommon goldish color) and it is spot on. They went above and beyond what I expected and the price was MUCH better than estimates at other shops. They are so friendly and helpful as well - my new favorite body shop!
