RV review - I cannot say enough wonderful things about this shop! We were in Kansas in our brand new Jayco class A when our check engine light came on. I called and Tyler said to come on in! They have full hook ups out back if you break. There s no question they are super busy but they fit us in and their knowledge and customer service is second to none. Jonathan was amazing and showed me everything he was doing. He kept us up to date. I wished we lived near this shop. If you are having RV issues or need some maintenance this is 100% the place to come for their customer service, responsiveness and knowledge.

There are some excellent professional repair shops that know what they re doing and are making great money with their expertise, but this place is NOT one of them. They have a nice girl working the front desk and a den of incapable mechanics that are highly skilled in scamming vulnerable RV owners. After over $4500 in charges, most of that never quoted or approved, they couldn t get anything fixed. The engine still lost power, the brakes were noisy and the lines had air in them. They faked a bad catalytic converter and against my request on the work order to return parts tried to pass off a part not off of my RV not even close. The RV was worse leaving than when it got there. We faced them on the issues before paying, tried hard to discuss the obvious mistakes, showed them that they didn t fix the engine power loss or the ac which still didn t work but was billed for almost a grand, and the manager kept saying take it elsewhere if you re not happy but if we don t pay right then for everything he would sell the RV. Wow. I thought no way he can t do that. Researching the laws, he could have done that regardless they didn t fix anything. Shops carry a mechanics lien automatically and have every right to keep the vehicle without needing any legal or court action, look up the laws while sitting down. The five star reviews they have are obviously fake. This place makes money by cheating unsuspecting people not by fixing anything. They must need to as they for sure don t have the repeat business any reputable shop would. Check their lot for the RVs oddly for sale there like a used RV lot. Hmmm. Look up how many court cases they have filed against them in Colorado City. I found over a dozen in my quick online search. Don t take my word, but prove them capable without trusting the girl up front. Bad bad news stay far away.

Springs was great to work with. Tyler was very helpful and experienced with my issue. I have an older diesel RV, turbo problem, they got me back on the road in pretty good time considering the problem. Emissions test and VIN too. I would work with again.Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repairServices: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Nearly a year ago, these guys fit us in on short notice to install a base plate and Invisibrake braking system for flat towing a Subaru Forester. The cost was the lowest in town I could find and it's been working great for over 7k miles being pulled behind our RV. To boot, they let us camp with hookups at the back of the building a couple of nights while they finished the install. Super friendly and professional. Would return for any type of service or repair.

I specifically requested antifreeze to be added to my vehicle as I was receiving an intermittent warning light. Upon leaving with the vehicle I made it 20 miles before again receiving the light and verifying against the receipt that no coolant was added. They completed multiple services on the vehicle and a full inspection Within 60 miles of leaving the shop my check engine light came on with a critical crankcase warning code.Services: Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

By accident, I met the owner at a dog park, she gave me basic info on her business that was exactly what I was looking for. I needed an estimate which they they promptly gave me, while explaining the reasons. I already had a previous computer code P 0206, so I knew what to expect. Their price per hour was lower, and only charged by the half hour on initial diagnosis. They had a website coupon, and after telling me the cost, offered a senior discount. I was able to add a few more small jobs, and then advised it would be around 3 hours. When I search for auto repair shops, and many of us have had bad experiences, I search for trust, value, cost, certification, experience, local family owned shops, and accuracy of diagnoses. This place met all my expectations. They also offered me pickup and delivery so I didn't need to wait. Their staff and their waiting room was clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious. The business has been around for 23 years. There is a reason for that, I am one of those who will continue to go for my automotive needs. I wish I knew about this place earlier. It is located on Galley Road near the US Post Office, just East of Powers, and it is just minutes from my home.

Paid them over $2300 to perform a safety inspection, replace two tires, front shocks and an a/c repair. First trip in the RV I break down in Rifle, Colorado and have broken A/C and my front stabilizer bar is completely loose and it is unsafe to drive. Pay another $1404 in Rifle to repair broken AC and make the front suspension safe to drive. What s awful about Springs Auto and Truck is that when I reach out to discuss the issues, I am immediately told I have no coverage from them even though they admitted they should have caught the unsafe suspension during the shock replacement or the safety inspection which I paid extra for. I had my wife and two kids with me and all I get is a sorry . I asked to speak with the owner and apparently he doesn t care enough to even call. I end up texting back and forth with Tyler, the service advisor while he tells me he thinks it s unfair but there s nothing he can do. I thought everyone should know how this business will treat you if things don t go great with their work. I recommend reading more Yelp reviews if you still plan on using this place. I have attached the text messages with Tyler. I think he is a nice guy who works hard and means well but was ultimately never going to help me so everyone can see what happens when you have a problem with this company.Services: Electrical repair, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

I took my 2008 Honda CRV in for 2 new tires, an oil change, and to have a funny noise diagnosed. The service manager got me the best possible price and quality of tires, quickly diagnosed the funny noise and worked with my extended warranty contract to get the repair costs covered. They were very reliable with their shuttle service and communicated often and clearly about all of the services they performed. Their mechanics were very friendly and the shop was organized & clean! I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat- being a single mom, I feel a little apprehensive when dealing with these kinds of issues- like someone will try to take advantage of me or something- these folks treated me very well!

We have been customers at Springs Auto and Truck for the past nine years and have had cars, trucks and campers repaired by them. I have also had Springs Auto evaluate a few cars that I was going to purchase and they saved me from purchasing a car which needed expensive repairs that I would have not discovered on my own. Our experience with Springs Auto and Truck has always been that they are very fair and honest.Edit: 4/12/2014 - I appreciate that everyone is busy - however we have had a car in for a repair for two weeks - when we were quoted one week - sometimes they are too aggressive with their estimation of how long things will take. To me it would be better to say two weeks and get it fixed early rather than say one week and then we have to ask every day if it is ready. NB: When we got the car back it was perfect - the work was great - but in my mind they just need to keep in better contact with the customer.

Tyler and the team worked hard to get our parts, so that we could get back on the road again. Their attention to detail was noticeable. The maintenance on our RV required them to get under our bed. Surprisingly, they put things neatly back in order. Others who have worked on our rig have not. AMAZING SHOP!!! Just happened to find them in the phone book. My mother needed work done on her car and as always we expected to pay some ridiculous shop price. That was the farthest thing from the truth! The staff was SUPER friendly (even came and picked her up when her car was ready) and the woman in the front of the shop, Katie, was AWESOME!! Katie took care of her and was so caring and friendly. Its great to see there is still businesses out there like this one that takes GREAT care of their customers and does it for a more than affordable price. they gained two new customers for life. THIS SHOP IS AWESOME AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE IN NEED OF SERVICE. GREAT JOB GUYS. THANKS AGAIN!!

Do not trust these people with your vehicle: I have never seen such dishonest and incapable mechanics. They charged me excessive costs for diagnostics and a simple exhaust repair. They never performed the diagnostics, charged me for OEM parts but installed cheap aftermarket parts, failed to correctly install the exhaust three times, and tried to hide a large dent they put in the side of my vehicle. They charged me over $1500 for simple work they failed to do correctly, and caused thousands of dollars of damage to my vehicle.

I have used Springs Auto for the past 10 years for minor and major repair. The labor rates are very fair and I appreciate the personal attention to detail from all levels of the organization. I am always keep informed of the maintenance progress and advised of unforeseen issues and how to address them. Always a positive experience. Highly Recommended!

Took in a 1970s trailer to get the break lights replaced and possibly have them fix the front awning that was damaged by wind. I explained I am in the military and spend allot of time in the the field. After about a week they call call me with an estimate of almost $4000. They say the trailer needs things I never asked them to inspect, such as wheel bearings. The wheel bearings were barely a year old and had less than a thousand miles on them at the time. I declined service initially, because I felt I was being ripped off. I call back five days after declining service and ask about how much it would be for the bearings. I am informed it's not the bearings, it is the hub assembly. I asked why they took apart the hub assembly when I never had that on the to do list and they said they didn't. They said they did not disassemble but could tell it need to be replaced, and explained my wheels could fall off if I drive it as is. The gentlemen I talked to said he would call me back later that day with an estimate. Mind you during most of this I am in the field or preparing for the field. Two weeks later I get a call asking if I'm going to pick up my trailer. I ask if the hubs have been fixed and the gentleman informs me he doesn't know what I am talking about. I tell him the events from above and he apologizes that no one got back to me. He says it will be $270 + the $130 diagnostic fee. Seems high but I agree as I just want to be done with this place. Twenty minutes later I get a call informing me it will be $700 because they are charging me $300 for storage. I ask how am I getting charged storage fees for a month when I was assured they would not be assessed without me receiving a call to tell they were being assessed. The guy at the desk says he will talk to the manager. Fast forward almost three weeks I receive a phonecall saying that the splines on the shafts are so worn they will have to be replaced, possibly the entire axel may need replacing. I inspected the trailer when my wife bought it and it has smooth shafts, not splined. I ask them how many spline shafts they are and the kid at the front desk says I'm not sure and I said can you tell how much it will be to replace the entire axel assembly. He says he will call me back later that day. Two days later I call them back because they still haven't called me. I am informed that the shafts are in fact smooth by design but should be replaced, at a cost of over $900 before parts. I let them know to just replace the hubs for the agreed upon $270 and am informed they are not replacing the hubs but repacking. I pick up my trailer and they charge me $692 (after a military discount of $35) for repacking my hubs, a task that took them almost two months.

Very friendly but it took more time then we expected. I think now that we almost have a new RV. I do feel that they corrected and fixed every thing that needed to be done. We came in to have our brakes checked and the tires checked as they were six years old but had just over 30,000 miles on them. Now our brakes are fixed and we have new tires plus fluids that needed to be changed.Thank you for your concern. Bud and Beverly

These guys are TRUE gentlemen. They were amazing, I locked my keys in my car at work. They came to unlock it immediately. My Vehicle is very hard to get into and they unlocked it in under 20 minutes! They were Pro's that knew exactly what they were doing. They were so kind and overly nice I would recommend them to anyone and I will definitely be taking all of my vehicles there for repair from now on.

Went out of their way to ensure that my truck's brakes were functioning correctly through multiple test drives and answered all my concerns. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, and explained the issue with the original parts from the vehicle when I arrived to pickup. Very quick service and professional quality. Would definitely take the truck here again.

Springs Auto and Truck Service took awesome quick care of our storage truck. They even gave me a better price on new tires, than the tire stores! They have also patched up a hole in the top of our truck before also. We will continue to use them for all of our maintenance and repairs. Thanks! I normally came here for vehicle repairs and break changes. Today I had an appointment to check the chirping and clacking sound under my car as well as my breaks were still squeaking after they changed them out a few weeks ago. They call me saying my vehicle is ready for pick up, but as soon as I leave the parking lot and stop at the first light (with my windows down) I hear my breaks screeching as well as the clacking sound under my vehicle. That only tells me that they did not do their job or find a proper diagnosis for my concerns about my vehicle. I come back and i am obviously irritated. I hand the keys over and the rude mechanic took it back for about 20 mins, comes back out hands me the keys and says "there, its fixed". I got into an argument with him about how rude he was and threatened to complain to the BBB as well as the FTC. I left furious. The manager then called to apologize but they have already lost my business. Please be aware this was MY experience. It does not take much to lose a customer.

Staff in the front are great. But that's the only good thing about them. Their techs have had three chances in the last year to fix my oil pan gasket. They have failed every time. They overcharge, and they can't seem to get it right. Don't bother with them.

Driving cross country w our trailer and the flush valve went out on the toilet. Meant we couldn t use any water in the trailer at all. Called Premier RV in Colorado Springs and they weren t able to get us in that day but referred us to Spring Truck and RV Repair. Called Spring and they got us in right when we got into town. Got the part, fixed the toilet and had us back on the road in a little over an hour. Great service!!!

I have waited a couple months before writing this review to allow myself time to calm down from the extremely disappointing experience of Springs Auto & Truck service center / RV.If you are in need of service for your Coach and would like quality work, and peace of mind when using your RV, please read this entire review. You will be glad you did.My Coach was scheduled to have the refrigerator, electric hot water heater, and electric stairs diagnosed and repaired if necessary. An oil change for the Diesel engine and generator were also requested.I informed the receptionist the Coach was not winterized, and must be kept indoors while in their possession. She told me this would not be a problem.I delivered the Coach the first week in November, the weather was in the mid 20's. I was contacted later that afternoon by the receptionist, and asked if the Coach was winterized? I told her no, and asked her to make a note of this. I was contacted by the shop manager 2 days later with the diagnosis, informing me the charge to repair the issues would be $6,700! After speaking with the shop manager and approving the repairs, he asked me if the Coach was winterized... Had my Coach been left outside for the past two days? I told him the Coach was not winterized and that I had reiterated this to the receptionist twice. I also asked if my Coach had been left outside, he replied no.The service on my Coach completed over a 2-3 week period. When I picked the Coach up, it was freezing outside so I immediately drove the Coach back to its heated indoor storage. When I had the Coach inside, I began my inspection. Oh boy! I found the refrigerator vents on the outside of the slide were not reinstalled correctly, and was sticking on one of the corners. If I had not noticed this, the wind may have blown the vent off or rain would have entered the back of the refrigerator area, and possibly the Coach. They also added a large scratch down one of my bay doors, curb checked one of my rear tires, lost one of the painted plugs which hold in the refrigerator vent on the exterior, and left the Coach with grease on the floor inside, as well as the exterior bay doors. Who does work like this? I immediately ran water through the entire system to verify there was no damage to the water lines in the event they had not kept their promise of keeping the Coach indoors. Thank goodness the water lines appeared ok.I called the service manager one hour after collecting the Coach and informed him of all the problems associated with their work. He apologized and told me to bring the Coach back so they could make all the necessary repairs. I told him it was to cold, he replied bring the Coach back at your confidence and we will honor all repairs. It was like he knew they had damaged the Coach. After three weeks of freezing temperatures, I was finally able to get the Coach back to them.My Coach is stored in a valet storage facility, which means the owner is the only person who drives RV's in and out of the facility. I was contacted by the owner of the Coach storage, and informed the Coach had a rough start. When I arrived to the storage, the Coach would not start. Batteries were dead. I opened the battery bay where both house and start batteries are located, and found a cable disconnected from the system. I tried to determine where this cable went without any luck. I was able to start the Coach via a jump start from my diesel truck. Post exceeded character count. Continued... See all posts. Yelp Review.

My husband brought his Durango in to have his rear brakes looked at...they fixed the brakes just fine, but let my husband know that there was a slight leak in his power steering pump. Within two days the power steering pump was pouring out fluid. Seemed strange to us that there was never a visible leak (underneath the truck after sitting for lengthy times) until after they told us there was a leak. We gave them the benefit of the doubt, and chalked it up to coincidence. We then brought my car in, paid $50-something dollars for diagnostics on the front suspension. We were informed at that time that the control arm was bent, and they wouldn't be able to diagnose anything else until after the control arm was replaced, but they would call me after they put it on to let us know if they found anything else wrong. Fine. I brought them my car, they called me a few hours later telling me they replaced the control arm and aligned the car-it was ready for me to pick up. I ask them if they checked to see if anything else was wrong, the person I spoke to said yes, and they found nothing else wrong. I pick my car up (the bill was $475+ tax) and within 1 mile the car starts making a loud vibrating noise and the car pulled horribly to left (it pulled slightly to the right before the control arm was replaced). I had my husband drive it, and he said to call the shop. I called, they had me bring the car right back. They lifted it up and looked at it. A different mechanic from the one we normally spoke to took my husband for a ride and told him the wheel bearing needed to be replaced and then the car should be realigned. We were also told that the vibration is from my rotors being warped. I asked why these things weren't diagnosed when I paid to have the car DIAGNOSED, I simply received a shrug, and the quote for the wheel bearing - $375. Wow. Ok, so I bring my car back to have it realigned and am told that something else is bent and that is why it cannot be aligned. Wait, what?! Why wasn't this seen the first time you aligned it...after you replaced the control arm and re-aligned the car?! I don't think they ever even aligned it. Don't you test drive the car once you have repaired it? Why couldn't you feel the pull to the left and the busted wheel bearing? I'm lost. I am sorely disappointed. I feel like we have been jerked around and treated like we are idiots.

It took 2 hours to get a oil change, with an appointment. Once I had the oil change, the lady still had to do my paperwork, then I went out to my car and the technician stopped me to tell me he forgot to check my tire pressure. Then the oil filter popped out, making me call them and get it towed in to get it fixed. Then I left it over night with them to get the oil redone and the engine cleaned telling them I would be back at 8am to pick it up. I should up at 8:20a and it wasn't done. Plus they didn't clean the engine so my car smelt like oil for the next week.I have more free oild changes there, but I am not going back. The people are friendly, but obviously don't know what their doing and customer service is not their strong suite

I think they are a NAPA business or dealer. I know this business because my truck just shut down and it won't start. It was close to this business. They helped me to push the truck and kept my truck overnight. My truck is under warranty but the dealer was away. I called the next day and the towed the truck. Seems very flexible. Did not have a lot of interaction, but they did their job and were helpful and in these days this is a good sign and we can have more like that.

I recommend anyone to get there car or truck repaired. They are very honest and do very very good work. I have one motor rebuilt turned out very good. I'm having a another rebuilt as I'm writing this review. A cadillac northstar engine so far it's turning out very nice. The head mechanic Ken knows what he is doing. One of the best shop that I have found. If you do business with this company you be sorry. They Will treat people right. I have heard other good reviews from other people.

This place is a joke. DO NOT CONSIDER USING THEIR SERVICE!! My roommate brought his car into them to have them repair it, they diagnosed the car and determined it needed a new timing belt. They proceeded to string my roommate along over a 2 day period continuously telling him that they have not started on repairing it yet but that they would get to it the very next day. At 3pm on a Friday they changed their story and told him they wouldn't get to starting the repairs until sometime during the following week. Needless to say the decision was to have the car towed from their garage to Meineke. When the tow truck driver showed up they held the car hostage until they received a payment of close to $160.00 for what they said was for the diagnostic. Meineke was not only able to get started on it right away, but they also charged almost $600.00 less than what was quoted by Springs Auto & Truck. Consider somewhere else before even thinking about going to this company.

RV made it inside for fix two days late we after scheduled appointment. Estimate was very high due to labor as we were told tech had to disassemble to trace leaking hose. They told us it'll two a few days to complete due to part being on order. I went to shop to get something out of RV, after looking inside RV only thing I saw out of place was a drawer below oven pulled out! Hum?? It's weekend now and weather could turn bad,we asked Tyler to keep RV inside or we'd come and get it to keep under our port, he said he'd keep it inside. Drove by shop on Saturday and shops closed and our RV is outside !!! Luckily an employee was on site and moved it inside for me. Ok at the end, RV was fixed, all is well, job well done, but feel I got burnt on labor charge.

Springs Auto & Truck saved me!!!! I got brand new brakes on my RV in my town in North Carolina before making our roadtrip to Colorado. After a week of the new brakes being on they fell apart. Springs Auto & Truck got me right in to fix the problem. They fixed the brakes and wrote up a report for me with pics to use in my case to be reimburse for the work done here in North Carolina. Joe was understanding and patient with my questions and with my vintage vehicle which can be VERY difficult to find parts for. I can not say enough good things about Springs Auto & Truck starting from their kindness, honesty all the way to the GREAT price to get the work done (half of what it cost me to put the original set on in North Carolina)!

We were making a trip from Myrtle Beach, SC heading as far west as Las Vegas, NV, traveling through Colorado Springs, CO, when the front passenger-side tire on our motorhome began slowly losing air. I called Springs Auto & Truck Service Center at 8 am and spoke with Carli concerning our problem. She immediately said to bring the motorhome in and they would look at it that afternoon. Since we wanted to do sightseeing while in town I asked if we could drop by first thing on the morning we planned to leave and she said to be there by 8 am and they would look at it first thing. In just over an hour Scott diagnosed the problem as a leaking valve stem, replaced it and had us back on the road in under 90 minutes. Not only did they fix the problem but they accommodated us so we could see the sights in town, per our original plan, and 750+ miles later the tire is still holding pressure. I highly recommend Springs Auto & Truck Service and would use them again. With any luck they'll open a shop in Myrtle Beach. Thank you Carli, Scott and your entire team for keeping our vacation on track!!!
