The Carefree Service Street team is amazing! They got me in last minute without an appointment. The service was quick and their customer service was great as always. My car needed a fuel system service which the technician explained thoroughly so I could make the best decision for my car. The team is so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. It was a great experience as always! That team deserves a raise, bonus or some type of compensation for the great job they do! Thanks again!

Requested a pre purchase inspection. Both parties had looked over the vehicle in and out, generally. Drove it and decided to have a shop look it over with professional experience and diagnostic tools (not to mention the lifts for easier undercarriage access than us crawling around).Decent price, terrible value. Would recommend Christian brothers (where I ve had unbiased third party inspections as well). Here s why:Office tech tells me the vehicle is ready, then pops back in and says, oh wait a check engine and traction light came on, give us a few to check it out .He annotates the sensor giving an error (intake air temp; on top of the airbox). Didn t give the diag code though, and then acted like it was a chore to provide that with an *INSPECTION* service. Goes back and gets the code, in the parking lot; it was a P0113 or IAT, but tech indicated it could be the MAF. Quoted both sensors at $200-900 for replacement, each. Easy to get to and general location in my attached photo. 30 minute job and $80 of parts by Amazon prime.Says that he can t provide any info other than that without the $200+ diagnostic service. All of this while providing the manufacturer service intervals for the model (cool) and then quoting $286 for 1.5 hours labor on spark plugs, due in 11k miles in the future, according to Honda. (94k mile vehicle). Automatically quoted a flush for: brakes, fuel system, power steering and also the radiator and spark plug swap. ($1500+) total. The good part:We walk outside and pop the hood, and guess what the MAF sensor is unplugged, and it s pretty obviously unplugged just hanging out right on top of the engine compartment. The buying party pointed it out. Seller replugged it easily with a firm connection that snaps together. Of course the engine light came on immediately upon starting and trying to exit the building, with an unplugged MAF sensor.Cleared code at an auto parts store around the corner. No issues since; and no issues prior to these folks touching it either. Scammers.Jerry Lane was the service advisor/salesman/scammer.Have the owner reach out to me and coordinate the refund my $100.68 inspection fee for wasting my time.

I was treated with respect by everyone that assisted me. They explained the issue with my car and what needed to be done and how much it would cost. They offered me the package oil change to help save money over time. They gave me feedback regarding my questions with my car and did not try to get me to fix other items like other places I have gone before. I will definitely return the next time I have any problems with my car.

Hands-down....a 5-star experience with a group of exceptional and extremely kind auto repair experts. I had a last minute auto repair need last weekend and spontaneously stopped by Service Street Auto Repair without an appointment. Without question, the service professionals (namely Bobby and Jerry) squeezed me in to their busy Saturday morning/early afternoon schedule and immediately resolved my two issues, sending me away without needless delay. I was super impressed with Jerry and Bobby's extreme professionalism and kindness (as well as the other gentlemen in the back of the shop and those that stopped by the front desk. I was even more grateful that, as a young woman, I did NOT feel taken advantage of by a group of auto repair experts trying to sale services and products as is often the case. Without question, I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Service Street Auto Repair for auto repair needs to anyone in the Colorado Springs area.

Bad service and bad experience..If I could give no stars I would..I dont usual go out of my way to write a bad review but felt the need with this experience.Just recently had an oil change about a week ago. Called ahead of time to get pricing. Told the gentleman year make and model and also clarified it was a diesel. He quoted me a price that I was good with.Got to the shop and they told me it was going to be over a hundred dollars more than what was quoted on the phone.Guy at the desk told me whoever would quote that price was an idiot. Against my better judgment I dismiss the condescending attitude and comment and went ahead with the oil change because it was my only availability to get it done.I check my oil levels about a week later and the oil was black and smelled like burnt carbon.I call and explain my issue with the oil change and this is what guy tells me: you have a 5 year old vehicle with 50k miles, your going to get that black burnt oil on the dipstick.I meticulous maintain all me vehicles and even on my old cars, when I change my oil what I get and expect is fresh clean oil on that dipstick. This guy telling me that excuse was ridiculous..If a vehicle has built up oil sludge or was severely neglected maybe that excuse would be understandable, but my vehicles get routine oil changes and maintenance..This place is a shady shop, if you care about your ride go elsewhere..Bad experience.. never again..

The team has great knowledge and experience in finding what is wrong with your ride. They have a great oil change program that can save you some cash. With their well rounded team they can get you back on the road quick.

Highly recommended this place for your car needs . From the moment I called and arrived at the shop they offered a free inspection which saved me a good chunk of money and they offered 3 month financing with no interest! They also offered me a Lyft to and from my apt for no additional cost! No other mechanic shop would offer that!

I have worked as a technician, service advisor, and service manager for several companies over the last 21 years in the vehicle repair industry. Never have I seen a repair facility jump on a vehicle and find so many issues that where not actual issues in their inspection. They called me less than an hour after dropping it off with a long list of issues. At first I thought "this is some great customer service", until I heard the list of repairs they said it needed. I already knew the car had a small oil leak from the valve cover and power steering (not dripping on the ground). The reason I dripped it off was for a check engine light and a shake in the front end. They wanted approval on all of these issues when they didn't have answers to the issues I brought it in for. I lost faith in them right away. I approved the repair of a couple oil leaks that where minor but declined the rest due to loosing faith. When I got the car back a very large oil leak developed. I looked myself and found the leak to be from the front main or valve cover both of which they fixed. When I called to schedule the appointment they immediately pointed at the repairs I declined before looking at the leaks. Needless to say I lost my cool very quickly then drove the car to their shop. When I arrived the manager quickly walked in his office and shut the door as to hide from confrontation. Later that day they called with what they found. The valve cover was cracked (should have seen this when the initial repair was made). They agreed to cover the cost as they should and told me I would have my car back the next day. The next day (day 3 in the shop second time) I received an email from my aftermarket warranty that they are trying to get warranty to cover it. I called them again and was told they just wanted to recover some of the cost. I told them that I am not paying a deductible. They agreed they would cover it and would have the car done in a couple hours. This was at 11am. By 5pm the car still was not done because they are waiting on warranty. Their mistake should have been fixed and the car returned to me in a timely manner instead of waiting for warranty to respond, then deal with warranty later or just eat the cost as you should do since their guy probably cracked the valve cover when reinstalling. I will never use Service Steet again and I will never recommend them to anyone.

Our 2001 Tacoma needed a ton of work. Although it took a while, the work was done right and at a fair price. They kept working on it until it was right, without charging us extra for repairs we didn't need. They also offer great oil change packages and wiper blade warranties!

Today was my first visit.I was greeted by Jerry who immediately made me feel welcome. The reception area was clean and welcoming as was the waiting area.Upon completion of my requested service, I was shown some other work that I would need. Most places will have you sweating from pressure, but not here. At no time did I feel pressured to complete the work immediately and I loved that feeling.I will be back and tell others. They also have convenient hours.

Took my truck in for a check engine light. Drove it in. They got the job done quickly and correctly. However on my way out I was informed I had a nail in my tire. Me thinking maybe I didn't notice drove it home. The entire drive home you could clearly hear the screw in my tire against the road. Within 10mins of me being home my tire was completely flat. I didn't hear a screw beating the ground on my way there. And if I had a screw in the entire time than how weird that it waited to go flat until I got home. I can't prove they hit the screw but it all seems like very odd timing. This was my 1st time going to that shop and wouldn't recommend anyone else go

Service Street was able to get our car towed and fixed in a timely matter for a decent price. We have never had problems with their services. And the staff is always friendly and will to help. Thank you Service Street!

I came in to get my brake pads and rotors changed, this is one of the few shops that will use the parts that you bring to do the job. They do walk-ins and their prices are fair. Fast and reliable service

I asked to have the tires rotated on top of an oil change and it was not done. Another job they quoted me costed way more than I heard, but I should have requested a written quote. I like the folks there and will continue out of convenience, but next time I will be way more cautious.

Great customer service! Got me in on short notice. Even though I hadn't mentioned it, when they thought they were finished and were backing out of the bay, guy noticed my low tire indicator and pulled right back in to put air in the tires. That made a great impression on me...Services: General repairs & maintenance, Wiper blade installationServices: General repairs & maintenance, Wiper blade installation

Public service announcement: Do NOT take your car here. They will make up services you don t need, I have papers demonstrating this. For example, will claim you need differential service on a FWD transaxle car that doesn t require it. Also, they inspected a car that had all new OEM fluids AND OEM filter but claimed that same car needed all the fluids replaced.BUYER BEWARE, AVOID.

Discovered my radiator leaking . I brought it in at 11 am, because they were very close to my house , and it was done by 5 PM so very fast at getting job done. however, they probably charged me $600 more than another shop would ve charged ( I called a reputable shop I have used before just for an estimate of same parts/ work and they said $1400, SS charged $2000. ) For example, I looked online for the radiator overflow tank. It would be $100 and SS charged $300. Same with radiator part. So you pay more to get the job done fast. What really bothers me though staff specifically said if I did the complete repair ( including flush and thermostat) it would be a 5 year warranty instead of only 1 year. I should have asked to see the warranty in writing as it is a prorated warranty. He did not use the word prorated when explaining to me. I feel this is deceptive.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I went in for a no start issue with my car. I had told them I believed it was a problem with my ignition switch or something other with my ignition. When my estimate came back, nothing was noted of my ignition, just a battery issue, brakes, and engine degreasing. I was told my car was running again and could pick it up, upon pickup my car would not start. the same problem I had before. the diagnostic (that they charged me for after the service even though my car wasn't fixed originally) came back next day as an Ignition Cylinder issue. I don't understand why that wasn't checked the first time as I had told them that was the problem. instead charged me over 1000 dollars in repairs that did not fix the original problem then quoted me another 900 dollars to fix the problem I had brought the car in for. They didn't offer me any sort of reimbursement for the "fixes" they did on my car that didn't happen, because the same issue occurred the day after I drove it off the lot.

I went in for an oil change but Joe said the tech found a more serious issue with my front axels and boots. I went ahead with the work but he did not pressure me to have it done but i knew it was a safety issue. They were very polite and upfront and honored my coupon and provided me with Lyft rides from and back again.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Oil changeServices: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

They get the job done well. Like other businesses like this they want to always fix something and if you say no they give you like a cold shoulder it seriously feels like. I go for oil changes and that's it. I think a lot of people use multiple repair companies, but I feel like if you say no they are fine with it but act kinda passive aggressive when you get you car. Kinda strange. But 4 out 5 on oil changes even if outrageous prices. You have a coupon you still paying 65 for synthetic oil.Service: Oil change

I have been using this location since 2017 however the current manager made my recent oil change my last ever with Service Street. He literally said to me why do you even come here if you won t let us fix your car? .. that was rude. They wanted $750 for front breaks and tried to scare me into it being a safety issue to wear I needed my car towed. My boyfriend is a car guy and said they should be replaced but not an emergency. I like to do my own research before I make a $750 decision 3 days before Christmas. When I told him they weren t competitively priced he said oh so you go the cheap route Honestly I m not sure if he was that rude because he wasn t making his monthly quota or he s just that way. I m taking my $100 oil change now else wear. As for my breaks . $450 at Elite auto repair for factory quality breaks plus vented rotors. Service: Oil change

The worst auto repair service, a single headlight bulb-hd1 is $295 . The bonus coupon they sent via box was even scanned because they will add other charges which doesn t make sense. Single jx35 headlight and new battery with tax is $842. Hope you will not experience my frustration. Hmm service street at N power and N Carefree have totally poor customer service. Front desk is messed. They again want to charge alternator for fee of $2500, l take out the car to another company and it s done for $600. This happened on 11/14/23. Just robbery innocent customers.Service: Electrical repair
