I have been a customer of Salim's off and on since 2010 and I have my had my 2nd car there now for 6 years. They're not only fair, as in very fair, they're also thorough. I have total trust in any recommendation they make, and while they don't service other brands of cars that we own, they've also been helpful in pointing us to their similarly-minded, fair mechanics and shops around town. They're an easy rec.

I can t say enough how much I appreciate this establishment! The absolute best place to take your Mercedes. I've been coming here for almost 7 years now. Every single person here is amazing. I ve never had any issues, just nothing but good customer service and quality work.

If you look further down in the reviews you will see. Ceasars review its very true and on point. My car has BEEN AT THE SHOP OVER A YEAR!! now been waiting months on a update when I go up there Amanda lies to me and gus says he will do things that never get done. I just want my car fixed the right way and back to me so I am not without a car another year.which I was told this shop was great at unfortunately that has not been my experience I don't know maybe they just don't like me or something because getting. My car fixed definitely isn't a priority at all. At this point I'm regretting taking it to the shop. ANY other shop would have had my car back to me before a year's time.

Went in for an oil change on our SL 600, and everything about the experience was so pleasant. From the dozens of hand written letters of thanks on the wall, to the offering of coffee, to the genuine and honest kindness of every person there, could not recommend this place more! Definitely support this family owned business!!

My only regret is that I wish I knew about Salim s sooner! Truly, one of the best car repair experiences I ve ever had. So much to say but first let me start by saying if you re not coming to see Gus at his shop then you are missing out on a great establishment that makes you feel like you re family. I have seen this gentleman interact with numerous customers and it feels like he talk to them as if the customer was part of his family. Very professional with a kindly staff. Amanda at the front desk is really sweet and kind. Gus tech s well let s just say they know your Mercedes Benz better than you yourself and both Gasoline /Diesel engines. Gus went above and beyond to insure my vehicle ran to the highest possible standards. My 2006 E55 came in for originally just a full headers upgrade and his tech found in the process of doing so that I needed new (2) motor mounts. Also my starter was replace because car wouldn t start. Most importantly his prices for labor and parts are just out of this world very affordable prices to pamper your lovely Benz. Honestly if you don t have active warranty thru the dealer I m not sure why you would go get ripped off at any Mercedes Benz stealership. Give this shop and Gus a chance I promise you won t be disappointed. Thank you so much again Gus you have a forever customer here.

I was just referring another friend to Salims and to notice that I didn't leave a review. I thought I had but I guess it didn't process. I have been using Gus and I guess it's either Gus Jr or Gus 2, I don't know lol sorry but anyway the younger guys. I was friends with a real close friend of his family and I purchased a vehicle from them and had it serviced at Salims. They always do my oil changes and stuff but I had a major repair done after some type of road and got in and ate my wiring and the dealer wanted $3,200 and it was way less than a third of that through them. Also I had my transmission serviced after another transmission place who I was friends with tried to repair a leak in the transmission and did it improperly and Gus could have charged me a ton of money if he wasn't so honest, because after my acquaintance messed with the transmission I went to two other shops and they told me it was going to be something ridiculous. Gus's team was super reasonable. They were able to get in take the and take apart quietly to the transmission, and get the gunk the other place had put in there instead of like some $5 grommet. The only thing I regret is selling my Mercedes because now I don't have a vehicle that he can service. Thank you for the many years of service though Gus and the whole Salims team! Heard good things about this place for quality Mercedes service when we moved here in 2020 but every time I took my two vehicles for service or repair I always had to take them back again because they didn t fix it the 1st time. This has happened multiple of time making me question their work. Talked to lots of customers while waiting they said this has happened to them as well. Amanda is rude, lies all the time and Gus means well but his integrity is questionable. My wife took our GL450 for Oil change when I was deployed and they ripped her off over 2k in unwanted repairs. Not the most honest place to trust them with your vehicle.Service: General repairs & maintenance

There is NO better. As I ve moved across the front range, I ve not found anyone to service my Mercedes with the care that Gus, Amanda and the crew provide. I currently drive over two hours to have my car serviced at Salim s Silver Star Mercedes. This is my third Mercedes and I ve referred many people. As a guide I always look at reviews. After visiting I definitely leave one. Today, I was in awe of my service. This morning at 730 I called because I had a drop off appointment at 10 but I couldn't make it and the gentleman said I could come in at 130 instead. When I got there he came to get my key and said he'd be right back. I had a B1 service. This is my first Mercedes and I just bought it about 4 months ago. I looked online and my research told me to expect anywhere between $300-900. 40 minutes later he came back and told me my car was perfect and I didn't need the service so he just did the oil change and a reset of my settings. $155 for the oil change. Now, I know this isn't true everywhere, but as a woman at a mechanic not knowing anything about a vehicle I can tell you I truly appreciate not being taken advantage of. That doesn't happen everyday. I may be strong and independent but not so much in this area and I'm willing to admit it. So thank you for being honest. You have gained a life long customer and I will absolutely refer any Mercedes owner I know. Thank you again.

Gus and his team have been taking superb care of my car ever since I bought it, six years ago. Before that, they took care of my son's car. No one can top their service: pick up and delivery, shuttle, loaner if needed ( I only needed that 1 time), telephone support. I try to do my part and keep up the routine maintenance. There has never been an issue that they haven't been on top of. Everyone working there likes this kind of car as much as I do. I needed the trunk of my ML400 working. The soft lock actuator didn t pull the tailgate completely closed. The other shop told me that I need to total the car because there are all modules are full of water and it was a lie. This shop fixed the issue within 30 minutes and diagnosed other issues for only $240. Other shop scammed me for more than that only for diagnostics. I was very happy with Salims Silver Star Automotive and will bring my business to them again.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical

Let me start by saying that Salims is one of the best shops I have been to. Guss is a great mechanic as well as very professional and friendly. I don't understand why they even have bad reviews! I took in my 2016 c300 in for a service B, and most importantly a leaking fuel line. It was very hard and tedious to find even through all the test that were done. However Guss and his team did not give up and found it. Great price and Very great service. Highly recommend and I will definitely be going back for all my mechanical needs. Don't waste you're money at the dealership and deal with thier prices Guss does the same quality work for a great price.

I recommend Salim's for any and all work to your classic Mercedes. It's certainly worth the trip from Denver if you're looking for a mechanic. The staff I've worked with, David, Amanda, and Gus, are very honest and professional. Best place to have your Mercedes worked on. Gus and his staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Don't waste time at the dealer! I've known them my entire life (my family has brought in our Mercedes and bought from him for that long!) Come to Salim's and get the work done you need on your Mercedes.

My family has been trusting Gus and family to service our various mercedes for 20 years. Simply the best. My mother is a senior and Gus takes care of her as though she was family, always accommodating and attentive to her needs. She can always just swing by and Gus will run out and make sure whatever is wrong is personally looked at. For me they have always been trustworthy, remarkably skilled and well priced. Whenever I have mechanical issues they get me in asap and get things handled in a way I trust and appreciate.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Honestly, I am so happy I chose Salim s to have a transmission replacement done on my lovely R129. Amanda and Gus Definitely exceeded my expectations. Not only was my car done faster then I anticipated, they answered any questions I had, and kept me updated throughout the process. I also ended up paying alot less then the estimate I received, the transmission in car works as it should!! If your in the springs or Denver and looking for a shop to take your Mercedes for any sort of repair this is the place!! Excellent customer service goes a long way on my book. And definitely will be back for any major repairs or maintenance for my Lovely SL. Thank you Salims Silver Star. I dropped off my vehicle right before closing time one day (no appointment necessary) and got a call back around noon next day that it was ready for a pick up. The price was very reasonable too. This was after I waited more than 2 weeks for an appointment at Colorado Springs Mercedes dealership and then, after another 3 days, they fed me a bunch of bull about what's wrong with the car. Gus and everyone at Salim's have always taken the absolute best care of me and my car for over 10 years now. The integrity, professionalism, and customer service there is unmatched. They do excellent work in a timely manner with honest and fair pricing. I will forever drive a Mercedes with the peace of mind that Gus and his team will be there to take care of my car when I need it. I couldn't recommend them more.

They are extremely busy all the time because they are without a doubt the best Mercedes repair shop around. They have made a decision to brush off the less wealthy clientele. my car sat there for weeks. they didnt seem interested in fixing it. Finally I think it is done correctly. The shop has Integrity but you can fall through the cracks. They just have too much work to handle. I think they try to treat you right... eventually.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Outstanding service start to finish! Amanda took care of everything up front and the proposal I received verbally was exactly what I paid (which, by the way, was 30% lower than the dealership). Gus came out and went over everything he did and made sure I was satisfied with the repair. Mercedes dealership had already "taken a crack" at fixing the issue and it re-broke within a day. I was charged a good amount of labor for that "fix", then told it would be an additional $xxx.00. Salim's was well under that and the fix was done right the first time. Add a loyal customer to the books!UPDATE: Still a huge fan! Have returned for service and every time they are more than fair and the highest in quality. Tremendous business!

I was recommended this place by the dealership due to having a sprinter. Most dealerships don t service my sprinter, so I gave it a shot. They were kind, and got me in in a reasonable time. However, this is the second mechanic out of six to tell me the repairs are going to be worth more than the value of the van . Mind you, I also live full time out of it with my fianc� and dog (it s converted into a full living space) So the value is a literal shelter, as well. They cleared the codes, explained how bad an intake issue would be to service, and then told me they d call back if they were willing to do the work .Never called back. I assume because it seemed like a lot of work?I purchased a code reader, proceeded to clear the codes my self and take of part off the exhaust that was causing my engine to act like it had a sock in the exhaust. She s been running fine ever since. 3 stars for kindness and trying to explain the horrible issues . However, a little honesty on what could help would have been a lot more use. $10k in repairs vs $150 scanner and 2 hours of exhaust labor come on.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I have been taking my Mercedes to Salims for the past two years. Gus and his team do an excellent job. The work is done professionally and at a fair price. Most importantly though is the fact that Gus and his employees always go above and beyond. They have loaned me a vehicle when necessary and have given me a ride to and from work when I had to leave the car. I would highly recommend Salims to anyone looking for top notch Mercedes service and repair.

Salims has taken care of my car for 15 years and I've never had a problem with their work. Gus amazes me with what he knows about Mercedes cars. He's like a walking service manual. Their prices are the most economical in town. I will continue to go to them for service on my Mercedes. I cant express how much I appreciate them.

I had taken my Mercedes GL350 to the dealer and a couple other Import Auto places in town because is had lost power and wasn t running right. Every time I got an estimate in the thousands to fix it. I called Salim Silver Auto and talked to Gus who told what the problem most likely was. I brought the car in and he did a diagnostic and didn t even charge me! It was a sensor in the exhaust which fixed the car and saved me so much money! They are professional and know Mercedes. If you own a Mercedes take it here, trust me. I know enough about cars from working on them a little bit over the years. Gus is honest and has earned a lifetime customer! Oh he changed the air filters which no other shop did!
