Sales rep was great but dealing with the manager was disappointing. Before closing on a deal with our new 2024 Venue we specifically stated that we were going to register our new car with AK since we claim residency there and are only in CO for a short time because of the military. Long story short, AK only requires 1 license plate and CO requires 2. With that said, we received our brand new car with license plate frames drilled/mounted on the rear AND front bumper which shouldn t have been done since we aren t registering w/ CO nor are we claiming residency here. We went back and told management this and the manager tells us on the phone that AK issues two license plates which we had to correct him and let him know that AK only issues 1 plate and that it s been like this for a while now but they insist by law CO is still required to have 2 license plates which is why they mounted a plate cover in the front bumper of our brand new Venue. I understand their reasoning IF we were going to register our car in CO and IF we were to claim CO for residency but we AREN T and are not REQUIRED to. Anyway, before we even signed the contract we kept telling his staff that we aren t registering with CO since we re keeping our residency with AK so this law they keep referencing doesn t apply to us and would only apply if we become residents in CO. We re also exempt from this law because Active Duty military aren t mandated to register their cars nor claim residency with CO unless they choose to. We tried working out a deal with the manager where they can make things right and help us fix the 4 extra holes they drilled in the front which are undeniably visible but every time the manager or his staff got back with us with a solution they were really just trying to get us to pay to fix the 4 holes they mistakenly drilled in the front. My husband even offered to plug the holes himself and that he ll just need touch up paint from them with the understanding that they will at least pay for it. When they got back with us his staff told us that they have the quote for the paint and if we wanted to see the quote which led us to believe that they weren t really willing to compensate us nor were they really helping. You would assume that an established company like Hyundai doing business in a major military city like Colorado Springs would be more knowledgeable on this type of matter or would at least have a process where they verify how many plates are required by other states for those that aren t going to register w/ CO ,especially military, BEFORE making permanent cosmetic changes to a customer s brand new car but I guess not. I guess that s also on us for trusting a dealership to be more professional and assuming that they would have our best interest on ensuring customer satisfaction AFTER closing a deal. After all, their main job is to sell you their cars so customers satisfaction isn t their priority after they accomplish that. Now I m stuck driving my brand new 2024 Venue w/ 4 extra holes in the front and I m having to deal or pay someone else to possibly fill the holes down the road.

I just bought a used Toyota 4Runner from here, I have to say this was one of the best experiences I had buying a car.Zach W. listened to everything I wanted and needed!Zach made sure to keep me updated with any new inventory that came in right away, because once again he knew my heart set was on a certain type of car.Finance was also a big concern going into get a new car, they made sure I stayed right where I needed and didn't make me sound crazy or that it would be impossible to do so.I left more than happy, and honestly just over all more knowledgeable about what it should be like getting a car.I would recommend, going and seeing Zach!

During a recent sale, Zach's prowess as a Hyundai salesman was truly remarkable. His adept customer care went beyond expectations, ensuring a seamless and satisfying buying experience. It's evident that Zach's commitment to excellence shines through, making him the standout choice for anyone looking to purchase a Hyundai. Zach is truly the fuel to the Phil Long customer service machine.

BEST HYUNDAI STORE IN TOWN! I worked with Katy Wardell and she was fantastic. Her and the team of managers got me such an amazing deal on a new Santa Cruz. I have bought a few cars in my lifetime and Katy made the process so easy and simple. I didn't have any pressure and was given plenty of time to make my decision. Thank you Katy, Luis, and Steve on helping me so much!!

This started as a good experience, I was able to find a car I liked and take it home same day. However, dealing with financing has been the worst experience I ve ever had. I am working with someone new every week and it s impossible to get ahold of someone to provide clarification. The whole place is under construction and it s extremely crammed and uncomfortable. They are all over the place and I don t think it is worth the trouble to work with them. They also sold me a car with two different types of tires and it s a FWD SUV. It took weeks for me to get in for servicing and the tires they replaced it with were used.

I only give a 4 star rating. We drove 5 hours to do business with this company. The salesman was good, sales manager was so so. The reason for the 4 stars was because we had a clear bra put on, and there was a big lack of communication between the salesman and the place who did the clear bra. Took about 5 or 6 hours for us to get the car done and they did not do the side mirrors as was requested. No big deal if you live in that town, but 4 hours away it becomes a big deal. They said to bring the car back and they would do the mirrors. Drive5 hours just to get the mirrors done NOT.

Avoid this dealership like the plague. Horrible customer service and poor quality work.To start, the manager called to yell at me when the tow company dropped the car in the wrong spot (the tow driver said they tried to get instructions from the dealer. Not my issue or my fault). Dealer then posted photos of my car with my license plate in a Google review of the tow company and refused to remove my personal info. I had to dispute with Google to get it removed.Dealer promised my car would be evaluated the next day, but did not look at it for several days. They did not call to let me know it had not been seen or the results once looked at. Every time throughout my three months of dealing with them, I had to call them to find out what was going on. After the catastrophic engine failure on my 2017 Hyundai was approved under warranty in mid October, dealer said work would be finished on a day in November and then strung me along until December 30. They never called me, I always had to call them to find out what happened every time the date they picked passed. When the work was finally done, they told me I had to pick the vehicle up within 24 hours of that conversation or I would be charged! At pickup, they handed me the keys and said my car was outside in the lot. I had them walk me to it. When the car didn t unlock with the remote, they said I was too far away (as if in 6 years I don t know the range). When it didn t start when standing next to it, they said it was the battery and my fault because it was old (not that it sat on their lot for THREE months without being started or the effect of the engine failure. No wonder they didn t want to walk me to the car.). They did a quick jump and handed me the keys. I insisted on a battery test (I was driving 1 hour home) which unsurprisingly showed the battery was dead. They refused to apply to include the battery under the warranty and gave me the option of a $275 battery or leaving on my own with the dead battery. Having no real choice since I was over an hour from home, I had to wait an hour for them to replace the battery and pay for it. (Hyundai corporate ended up reimbursing me for the battery under warranty another 3 months later). The car was incredibly filthy, having sat on their lot next to I25 for 3 months. Charley said they don t have the ability to wash cars. I pointed out all the clean cars for sale on their lot. He said they only wash new cars.During this saga, I asked them to let me know if there were any other problems with the vehicle, caused by the engine failure or otherwise. They agreed to and said they did. Soon after, I discovered the heat and air were not working. Both were working perfectly fine immediately before the engine failure stranded me on Cottonwood Pass. I took it to another dealer, which claims it s unrelated (cost $360) but informed me that the transmission input shaft was leaking (another warranty item $5000), the engine air filter needed replacement (Hyundai Motor City took the dirty filter out of the old engine and installed it in the brand new engine, $46), and the tires were misaligned and had severe dry rot (tires only had 20,000 miles, sitting on their lot next to the interstate for three months unmoved and uncovered likely contributed). In other words, Hyundai Motor City either lied about evaluating the vehicle for other issues or is highly incompetent.Overall, dealing with Phil Long Hyundai Motor City and Charley was the one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in my 60 years. They were rude and unprofessional. They mistreated my personal information. They lied and misrepresented their plans and they were incredibly slow. They failed to identify serious issues with the vehicle. They took advantage of this large warranty job being paid by corporate and ignored me as a customer. I strongly encourage you to take all of your business elsewhere.

Hello! So I bought a car from here (that I love)! And the awesome chick that sold it to me was Hannah Goines! I had a bad experience prior with looking for a car and almost was sold something that I would have had to put a lot of funds into keep it up to spar! But thank God! I ran into Hannah and she hooked it up!!!!!

Never been so disappointed with literally anything I ve ever bought.Got a 2024 Hyundai. They act like your best friend when you walk in and then as soon as they ring the stupid I bought a car bell, it s downhill from there.Multiple issues with car. Can t get a straight answer why my MPG ranges between 17 to 24. Usually it s closer to 17.And perhaps worse than that, I brought my car in for a tire rotation and fill.Hour later they say its good. The next day, the alarm is going off again and I m already two states away. They reset the tire pressure check and sent me back on my way. Like actually, I m disgusted.Might trade the car in. Every time I drive it, I m reminded of how much I hate this place.

Sold them a car on Saturday. Tried calling several time and leaving messages to find out if my check for the sale of the car has even been sent yet. This is Wednesday and all I keep getting is voice mails with no response from anyone.Jacked up part is they already have the car listed for sale and I still have not seen a check from them.Any phone call from them would go along ways. So far I wouldn t do anymore business with them if this is the way they operate.-**- update-**- now a week out and still no check from these thieves.I have noticed that they do not respond to anything .phone call or even negative reviews. They don t care if customers are happy. Only worry about their bottom line.

Bought our vehicle with the extended warranty and then the transmission went out. When I called to schedule service, I was told to bring it in that same day to be tested. Had it towed there and 8 hours pass with no testing. I was told I was double booked and the soonest appointment was 2 months out. At a dead end, I had no choice to take the 2 month wait. The day of the "new appointment", I was told our vehicle will need a whole new transmission and was scheduled out another 2 months.... Day of the scheduled repair I was told 2 days. That turned into 2 weeks.. After bugging every day it was finally done. Traded in the vehicle not wanting to deal with anymore problems.I cancelled our extended warranty to get our refund from that (yes, you can do that if you didn't know otherwise the dealership will keep your money). I had to call every day for about 3 weeks leaving message after message and no one would ever return a call. Until I finally went in person and filled out paperwork on September 28, 2023 to request the cancellation. I was told by Erik that it would be 4-6 weeks until the check is in hand. 5 weeks pass and not seeing anything in the mail. I call again and again with no answer and no return. Until I finally got a hold of Erik again. He told me, "it hadn't been processed yet" So after having to bug and bug everyday for my money. I finally got our cancellation check after 8 weeks total of having to deal it. Avoid this dealership at all costs. They give the run around and can't complete simple tasks.

Isabelle and Kevin were great! Bought the car online and it was ready as soon as we arrived. Isabelle was a great communicator and assisted me with any issues or questions I had. 10/10 recommend and will be getting my business again when it s time to upgrade.

Nasty Exterior! We stopped at Phil Long Hyundi in Motor City to do a quick charge on our new E-powered Ioniq5 Hyundai car. But hanging out for 30 minutes outside was gross. Phil Long needs to do some sanitation and housekeeping. Cigarette butts everywhere, discarded food and containers littering the property, and just plain trashy everywhere. My wife tripped over a door rug or runner at the inside area in front of the accounting office/customer waiting area that had been curled up and moved. Who does the safety and sanitation compliance here anyway? We sure will not return to this Phil Long dealership anytime soon. Took some photos and posted them as well. Even observed one car that had plastic wrapped and jammed around the brakes and caliper on display outside!

My sales person Poae, went above and beyond to help me with my vehicle purchase. No high pressure feelings during the purchase consideration. And then he even assisted me after closing on the truck deal. He helped me take it in for a couple of appointments and then brought me back home while it was getting an after sales/market install done. On both occasions he came and picked me up to go get the work done and bring it back home. He took time on his day off even to help and again a second time while he was working, leaving the sales floor to help me out. That's what I call awesome customer service! Thanks so much Poae and Phil Long. I love my new truck.

We took our car for a recall. First time. Really nice people work here. I like their customer service and also sales people ask if you are interested but they are not persistent. Also we were looking at the prices and it seems they respect their mrsp. Their dog is so cute as well.

The worst finance experience buying a car. Make sure and read everything. They stated that we re giving me a discount of $1000 and they raised the price of the car and then told me that they couldn't get the car down to the price I wanted to pay for payments. After I walked out the GM called stating that they could get it to the payment I wanted. Then I got two more calls after walking out stating I was intimidated by a male salesman. WOW really? Then I get another call asking what car did I purchase? Will never get a car from Phil Long ever! This is not how you sales by lying and being rude to your customers and adding on stuff that you don t want and refusing to take them off because you said they re going to stay on. Hmm who is paying for the car?

We were unhappy with my recent experience selling our used vehicle to Phil Long Hyundai. I am sharing my story to help inform others in a similar situation. I did my online research and understood what i thought my vehicle was worth in its used condition. At the Phil Log website, they had a web-based tool that created a 'certified' quote for what I felt was a fair price. The next morning I got a phone call from an enthusiastic woman wanting to make an appointment to see the vehicle. She was very excited that there is a whole community of people who would be interested in its off-road capabilities! When i got to the appointment, the person i had talked to was mysteriously unavailable. In the confusion, i got handed off to a different salesperson. When asked how much I wanted to sell my vehicle for, i handed over the certified quote. The salesperson came back with an offer from their management team for approximately 60% of the online quote. I attempted several counter-offers, but they wouldn't budge on the original number. My lesson learned is obvious in hind-sight. I should have set up appointments with multiple dealerships so I could have walked away from their low-ball offer - negotiating 101. Ultimately I took the offer to save the time and hassle of doing more research. However, I felt completely manipulated by the management team and their entire used car-buying process. Because of this negative experience, I will not buy a vehicle from any Phil Long dealership in the future.I would have given an even lower rating, but I did like the young salesperson I worked with after the deal was made. He was friendly, a good communicator and followed up consistently with me until the final payment was complete. I hope he receives a nice big commission because I am pretty certain the dealership made a significant margin on this transaction.

I had the unfortunate experience of purchasing a car from Phil Long Hyundai of Motor City five and a half months ago, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite numerous assurances, I have yet to receive the title for the vehicle. From the beginning, they misled me about the status of the paperwork, blaming the delay on the DMV. However, after reaching out to the DMV myself, I discovered that Phil Long Hyundai of Motor City hadn't even submitted the necessary documents.Their incompetence reached new heights when they began requesting a death certificate from me, for an individual I've never even heard of, presumably the previous owner. It's clear they failed to obtain the title due to their own negligence, yet they continue to dodge responsibility.I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle to steer clear of this place. Their deceitful and illegal practices and inability to fulfill basic obligations make them entirely untrustworthy.

Friendly staff, no pushy sales people, and fairly priced vehicles. We leased a new palisade, and are very happy with it. They are doing major renovations and greatly expanding their service capability in the near future which will be very much appreciated. Definitely recommend if you are in the market and live in the greater Colorado Springs area.

This is for the service department. When you have a vehicle under warranty with a safety concern, telling you they can t book you an appointment for WEEKS is a complete and total failure. Like I m supposed to know when the vehicle is going to break so I can schedule an appointment ahead of time. I ve had this same issue for a simple oil change in the past. No availability for a month?!?!?!?!?! You have to do better.

Salesman was great, he was professional and personable. The process after we picked a vehicle was terrible. Between the back and forth with sign on the dotted line to the finance manager throwing in added fees and back tracking on his statement as to what the fees were for was absolutely unprofessional. Went in with a clean trade and pre-approval for financing, should have been an easy process and sale. Finance manager said because we came in with a pre approval from NFCU, the service contract package, pulse brakes and 3 year maintenance package were non negotiable items on the contract. For a company that prides themselves on taking care of the military community I m pretty disappointed and instead, I will take my business elsewhere.

Cherie did it again. I brought my son in for a car and she went above and beyond to ensure he got a good car. Even though we had an issue with ensuring the first car she was able to get him in a different car that he loves and can insure.I recommend her to anyone who needs a vehicle. The best experience for buying a car ever

I just purchased a 2023 Hyundai Kona SEL. The experience was easy and no BS. Most of the discussion was via text. I probably spent a total of 2 hours in the dealership. ( over two days) I was able to get financing with being upside down on my trade in and got the car for no money down. Mark is quite knowledgeable and great to work with. The finance manager,Eric was quite pleasant. I highly recommend this dealership

High pressure sales environment. Hard to get in contact with after purchasing about some questions and get excuses for bad customer service. I have had much better experiences with other dealerships. Avoid the headache here.Update: I emailed them from their response to this and have not received a reply back in 3 weeks. Further supports this review.

I purchased my car here about 6 months ago. I don't have any credit and Hadley had his money as it is first time buyer. They passed on this Mazda 3 to me. Okay about 2 months later after being able to afford new tires cuz I definitely needed them. Being two of them wouldn't hold air. I went to h&h tire to get new tires and alignment well going back. They said they couldn't do the alignment cuz the sway bar was bent. Well that cost another $500 okay pay that off but I'm leaving as I'm leaving. They tell me that it's leaking transmission fluid also out of money not knowing what to do. I have to fix this myself. CV axle another 200 bucks. Not to mention hours of trying to figure this out. I figured somebody had curb this car painting this way bar just enough to pass emissions or whatever they had to do to sell it off to me. Out of money out of credit to the tire still won't hold air. I feel they totally took advantage of me. Don't let this happen to you

Honestly the best car shopping experience I ve had thanks to Charlie B! The first time we met I ended up having to back out of our deal but when the time was right I came back to see him due to his personable demeanor. He was a wonderful salesman; didn t pressure me into a vehicle I didn t want, was patient in helping me get the best deal possible, and was always kind when following up after the deal and while making the deal. Thank you Charles, I will be sure to come find you the next time I need a vehicle!

The best experience I have ever had at a car dealership lizette and the general sales manager were very understanding with what we were looking for in our cars they met our expectations impeccably. They understood that we were looking at certain price points to meet our payment range and met the payment we wanted. They didn't try to sale us anything that we didn't want. They went out of their way to make sure we got the exterior color and interior that we wanted without any trouble or hassle. Truly an amazing dealership. I will only look at phil long hyundai of motor city for any of my future cars. They truly are salemens and women of creating long life customers.
