As a long time member of the car community in Colorado, Peterson Performance delivers much needed service that Colorado Springs lacked prior to their establishment. It is no longer necessary to drive up to Denver for trustworthy, reliable installation and repair of performance vehicles. Kaleb was always flexible with scheduling me in for my ported supercharger install on my vehicle and provided detailed advice in a timely manner. He also saved me time and money by identifying my supercharger issues by identifying the issue prior to install and didn't charge me for it. Thanks to them, I have a car close to 1000 hp. I would entrust them with performance cars and of course, daily drivers too.

I currently went to Peterson Performance and Repair for some work on my 2014 Shelby GT500. They had great customer service and were very knowledgeable. The work was done in a timely manner. They lowered and put a panhard bar on plus some other maintenance was done. I was very pleased to have them work on my car.

I came to Peterson Performance for a lot of work on my 4runner, including a supercharger, regear, new suspension, and new wheels & tires. The result is phenomenal and I have already put almost 2k miles on the vehicle without any issues. I highly recommend Brad and the team.

I can t say enough wonderful things about this auto shop. Immediate estimates, easy, communication, great work. I know that there is a saying about fast, good and inexpensive. Pick two. With Peterson you get all three.Not inexpensive, (cmon they specialize in performance cars,) but a value for the service! Happy customer.

This is the first time Ive used Peterson Performance to diagnose an issue with my supercharged Mustang and glad I selected them to do the work. Here are the things that I think set them apart from all the other performance shops Ive been to:1. They quickly and correctly identified the issue that three other well known shops misdiagnosed. One shop had my car for 8 MONTHS trying to figure out the issue. Having actual technical skill is extremely important in a performance shop.2. The communication is great. They responded with timely updates by texting me what they found along with accurate online documentation. I was able to review videos of the issue, sign estimates and pay for the repair all online. This is very convenient. Other shops, I have had to chase people down in order to get simple updates on the work. In some cases, I have had to show up in person and have to physically talk to someone in order to get an update because they don't answer their phone or respond to emails. Peterson excels in this area and cant emphasize enough how refreshing it is.3. They do not have issues working on and installing aftermarket parts. Some shops do good work but then insist on OEM replacement, which is a deal breaker.I would not hesitate to recommend this shop and will definitely be back to have other mods / maintenance done to the car.

Brad has one of the most professional and competitively priced shops in the Colorado Springs, Fountain, and Pueblo area! I try to find things he can't do and tools he doesn't have. They are few and far between. If he doesn't have it, he goes out and purchases it. State of the art Laser alignment set up. Can change tires to include run-flats. I've watch him replace a head gasket on a 2010 BMW X5. He has great prices on changing oil, is licensed to service A/C's, and not one job that has stopped him. He recently installed Twin Turbos and Oil Pump Gears in my 2019 Shelby GT350. It goes without saying, my friends at Peterson were the largest influence on this build. They did not oversell, had exceptional communication, did an outstanding job on all the work, and sincerely made sure I understood how everything functioned. When I picked up the car, the owner Bradley Peterson took me for a ride to show me everything. Kaleb Crisp helped throughout the build to keep me up to date and take pictures along the way. The service from these folks was great and if you're in Colorado, or anyplace near there, you would do well taking your car to them. They are the GO TO place around here and highly recommend in the Colorado Shelbys group.

Best experience I have ever had with a shop. They picked up my immobile vehicle and checked, tuned, and race 4wh aligned the whole thing with full custom BMR & Eibach suspension. These guys really know their mustangs! Communication was beyond excellent. After a few years of hopping shops, I can confidently say that this is the only shop I will use for service on my Mustang. I travel 63 miles from my house to service my car here for a reason! Outside of bodywork and internal transmission services, these guys will do just about anything. I ve never seen a shop more laser-focused on really, truly fixing a problem. You can very clearly see the engineering background that Brad has in the work he and his team performs. This is a very technical shop. It should be noted that if you re on a tight budget and looking for a Brakes Plus bargain service with run of the mill parts, this sadly isn t the shop for you. I still take my daily to a more local chain lube shop for oil and tires when I m in a pinch. But for the automotive enthusiast, this establishment is a diamond in the rough. I ve personally had my Mustang s rear diff rebuilt here and my mother s Shelby GT350 has also seen time in the shop. Both of us were surprised at the level of knowledge the Peterson team has. I ve seen everything from base model family SUV s in the shop, to highly technical tuned imports, to 1,000 HP custom built in-house muscle-cars. I m certain they delve into exotics and classics as well. Every car receives an equal level of fine-tuned service and every customer receives a very personalized experience. You can t beat that. Great operation that they're running. Brad, Kaleb and the rest of his crew got my heavily modified (chevy ls engine swapped) jeep wrangler running great again by finding the "gremlin in the machine" that was hindering the cooling system. An issue I'd been trying to get resolved for months. On top of that, they then made even more performance improvements/repairs from other concerns I had as well. I had lowering springs installed in my 2020 GT500, and an oil change. These guys took their time and did the job right! The results of the install and 4-wheel alignment surpassed my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised to get a much smoother ride than before. The steering is more precise, and the bump steer I had before, has been eliminated. I highly recommend Peterson Performance. I met the Peterson Performance team 2 years ago after moving to the area. I gotta tell you, finding an auto mechanic after moving to a new area isn t always a good experience. I am not a car guy in the traditional sense. I have modest vehicles that meet the needs of my family. For me it s first and foremost about trust. I also appreciate quality work that s reliable and at a fair price. Bradley reached out after i posted on a car group that i needed a clutch. Very professional, introduced me to his business and his services. I got the clutch ordered for me no problem. I paid yesterday & my clutch arrived today! I am in NYC so never visited the shop in person but if this is the service i got online; i can only imagine in shop! Top tier service! THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE FOR ANY CAR ENTHUSIAST OUT THERE. I went for the first time and everyone is super friendly and makes you feel welcome. Gave me a tour of the shop educated me on how things are ran and some of the cars that were being built. Not only do they do any performance needs but they also do general mechanics too. Just want to say thank you Brad and Caleb for helping me with my mustang and educating me on different performance mods. This is my new home for any mechanic needs.Service: Auto engine tuning

Ordered a set of gears for my jeep, got personal service from Brad. All the way through my order and shipment from Yukon gear company. Would highly recommend dealing with this company over the big guys . Never would have received this level of service if I would have ordered through Quadratec. Thanks Brad!!Update to this review: 1/1/22 Brad stepped up his game even more and overnighted parts that were missing from the gear company. (Parts we re all shipped from manufacturer). My jeep was on the lift missing the carrier bearings from the kit. Brad sent me the parts to finish the job so I could get my jeep back ASAP. Thanks again!!

Took my 2016 GT350 here to get some issues fixed after having another shop put on a Whipple Supercharger and custom tune. Brad was knowledgeable and took focused time to dish my car, not just read the codes on my ECU, but research online/forums/common issues with my car and then suggest a solution. Car is driving amazing now like it should! I appreciated the consistent updates and communication throughout the process and the follow-up after I took my car home to ensure things were working correctly. 5/5 would recommend. Worth the drive down to Colorado Springs

Dropped off my car for a coolant flush and leak test. They found the leak and fixed it without any issues. Extremely professional and personable staff that was super easy to work with. They explained to me what went wrong and how they went about fixing it and even had photos they took along the way. They also have a key drop box so I was able to leave my car over night and they fixed it while at work. This will definitely be my go-to shop from now on. 10/10 would recommend.

Brought my 2009 Pontiac G8 GT to the shop a couple months ago for a transmission fluid change. The quote process was super quick and detailed with very fair prices. They even updated the Carfax with the maintenance done on it. Fast forward 3 months and I appear to have some sort of valve train tick. Had my car towed to their shop and within 2 hours I had already gotten a response and diagnosis. They sent me a video of my rocker arm having some up and down play from my valve. Their communication is top notch and the work they do is even better, definitely the best shop in the springs to take your car to have any sort of work done to it. 10/10!

Peterson PerformanceThe Hidden Gem of Auto MechanicsFor three years I drove the triangle Colorado/Florida/California with my "Check Engine" light on. Always an O2 Sensor code. For three years shops along the way could not resolve the issue. Reputable shops. Both upstream and downstream sensors were changed multiple times and many hours wasted on mechanics "diagnosing" the problem.Then two plus months ago my ongoing search for an actual diagnostics shop landed me at Peterson Performance.In little time Brad discovered a simple vacuum leak was tripping the O2 Sensor code. Had nothing to do with either sensor. A little bit of rubber vacuum hose and the "Check Engine" light has not been seen since -- also resolving the inordinate poor fuel economy so long sucking money out of my pocket.Like a brutal kick to my stomach Brad discovered a slew of other issues with my unique 2002 Buick Century -- detailing each one to me with the same attention he might give a Lamborghini and an owner with much money -- which he knew I didn't possess. Ultimately -- my treasured vehicle received the death sentence via Brad's diligent and comprehensive diagnostics.Other shops would have had me absolutely penniless by now -- trying this part and that fix -- and I'd have a dying Buick dying all the same.And I'm quite sure -- had I come upon Brad and Keleb and Peterson Performance five years ago -- my Buick -- The Magical Marvelous Monkey Mobile -- which has also been home to me and my canine kiddos during these five years -- would not be dying today. To live is to learn.Since experiencing their genuine and true expertise -- whenever it is I can purchase my replacement vehicle -- I will drive 1000 miles to them rather than take my "Road Yacht" to another shop.And that's the simple truth.

Brad and his team are an absolute pleasure to work with. They re all extremely professional, they perform great work at fair pricing, and in general are just a joy to be around. I always end up spending an extra 10 minutes just chatting with them whenever I m there. Brad really knows his stuff, and is never opposed to taking on a challenge to improve your ride. He s worked on my supercharged Jaguar a few times, and each experience has been fantastic. UPDATED: I took a car purchased from Drive Time to Peterson Performance to address issues within the 30 day warranty. Peterson quickly identified an unstable engine mount and blown head gasket.Unfortunately, when we got the car back, the mount was not secured, we had screws falling off and the car was still smoking.Peterson Performance stepped up immediately and dove back in. At this point, our 30 day warranty period had expired, but Peterson went above and beyond by doing additional repairs at no cost and making sure our vehicle was up and running again asap.Honestly, this is the first time in over 30 years dealing with auto repair shops that I have gotten treated like a rock star. They went above and beyond, and stood by their word, their work, and their guarantee. Truly at a loss here, I expected them to be uncaring and riddled with excuses but they absolutely were the best, hands down.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The guys at Peterson Performance (Brad and Kaleb) went way out of their way to accommodate me dropping my car off after hours and picking it up after hours. I live in Denver so it was difficult for me to get there before they closed during the week. I have a 2020 Shelby GT 500 that I brought to them to have the factory track pack suspension installed along with the alignment. They completed the work in short time and did an awesome job of taking care of my car while it was in their hands.
