Absolutely horrible business. They will break your car then blame you for it. Customer service was horrible. Caused $300 worth of damage and are willing to do nothing. Trash humans work here.

5 Stars isn't enough to represent the experience I had with National Differential, these guys are the real deal. Integrity, expertise, communication, this shop has it all. I had 2 axles rebuilt. One Dana 44 with new gears and and Elocker and a GM 12 bolt with new gears and a tru trac. They came out beautiful. Every member of the National Differential team was a pleasure to work with. Walt and his team have set a standard. I would not hesitate to do business here.

This place is the best in class!I recently was in need of having my rear differential pinion bearing replaced, I took my unit in to have it repaired and was amazed by the knowledge of Walt he walked me through the bad parts and gave me great pricing to replace bad parts I needed . Walt and Matthew offered me impeccable service for my needs and I can t thank them enough for helping me get my truck back on the road.This truly is the best place to go hand down !Thank you all so much for your service

This is the best shop that I have been in or worked with! Here s what happened. The transfer case totally locked up and broke in my Chevrolet 2500HD diesel pick up truck. I couldn t move an inch. I had a flat bed truck bring it to my home.I found National Differentials with a Google search and to my surprise they were in my hometown of Colorado Springs. Their beautiful website looked to good to be true with the colorful photos and spotless surroundings.I decided to drive to their address and verify if this shop was as good as their reputation. And to see if it was clean.It was better that what I saw on their site. The interior of the shop was filled with beautifully painted rebuilt differentials and transfer cases lined up on spotless shelves and racks. When I arrived, I met Walt and he offered to give me a tour and explained how they could repair my truck and get me going in one day. He showed me the newly rebuilt transfer case that would go in the truck. I was so impressed with his knowledge from twenty plus years. One of the owners, George, came out to introduce himself as well. This simply doesn t happen these days. Their manners were incredible.I had the same flat bed towing company deliver the truck to the National Differentials shop and Walt did the work to perfection with cleanliness and great expertise. I was given a warranty for three years and the truck runs perfectly again. All at a great price.I am so grateful for this group of experts who treated me so well. I recommend them without hesitation. There are many other good shops but these guys are the best!. Call them. They ship rebuilt parts across the globe and can give customers the correct advice.Tim in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Been trying to reach this company for a few weeks now I get no answer I called them I get no answer they have my number they don t call me. Are they even in business anymore?! this is how you run a business huh

I noticed my 4Runner started having a slight gear whine from the rear axle when I took my foot off the gas at higher speeds. Since I take my truck on trails back in the woods I wanted to get it checked out before I had a failure on the trail. My truck is verify modified with a solid axle one ton conversion on 40" tires so I was very selective about the shop I took it to. I heard a lot of great things about Walt and the team at National Differential so that's where I took my truck.Walt opened up my rear Dana 60 and checked the tooth pattern, backlash, and preload. He said everything looked great and would give me years of service. The noise he concluded was coming from the Motive gears I had installed, they were making the whine but it was nothing to be worried about. This was great news.The whole team there at Nation Differential was awesome and I would recommend them to anyone. They will definitely be building my next axles.

Walter and his team at National Differential are awesome! They did a ring and pinion and air lockers install in my 1978 CJ7's Dana 44 front and rear axles. They did a spot on job and were VERY fairly priced. Turn-around time was fast as well. So far everything is working perfectly and the break-in process is going great. His whole team was extremely nice and are all very knowledgeable in their fields. From Roxanne and Andrea in the office to Walter and Matt in the shop, an EXCELLENT experience start to finish.

Rude and shady.Was told over the phone the price would be $2600. Then in office they tell me it will be $3600 but they will use OEM gears and finish the regear in 2 days.I agree and take the truck in for the appointment. When I arrive I ask to see the gears they are installing and they flat out refuse. So I ask to see proof of the gears that they are installing on a invoice. They refuse and Walt becomes rude to his office assistant, "handle it" he says to her.Her response is...."Yeah, I don't know what to tell you" "I understand your frustration"Walt refuses to talk with me. Then they call back and say they are refusing to do the gear change.I don't know about you but I want to see what I'm buying for $3600.TL:DR This is a shady shop that does not prove their work. The manager Walt is rude to his customers and his office manager has no idea what is going on.*Edit*After the response It needs to be understood that I never requested to see the shop's cost for parts, only wanted to see that I was getting new OEM parts that I was paying for. This shop doesn't do business with people that hold them accountable.I was never provided with a invoice only an angry comment for not trusting them.Please do yourself a favor and use a more honest shop."The Diff Shop" "3D" or "Tanner" were much more helpful and transparent.

Walt and his crew did a great job with my Dana 44 in my '06 LJ Rubicon. He had some hard-to-find parts to complete the repair and Rubi is back on the road. I found Walt to be extremely knowledgeable about the axle in my Jeep and was more than fair with the cost. The work was done well and as promised, I will be using them again in the future.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This shop is outstanding. I was in a bind after doing business with a company on the east coast. A front drive axle was loose at the differential after installation. Walter rebuilt the front differential at a very good price and solved the problem. If you need any differential work, save yourself a lot trouble and go here first.

I took my truck to them after being ripped off by another shop. They diagnosed my problem quickly. It ended up being a problem with my tires.They are very honest and customer friendly. They didn't even charge me a diagnosis fee as they knew I had been ripped off by another shop.I highly recommend them. I will definitely use them in the future.

Ordered a rear diff from these guys online. Was told on the phone that it was IN STOCK. So 2.5 weeks go by and I haven't heard anything so I shoot them an email, no response. So I call, she says, let me check with the guys in the back and I'll call you back. NEVER called me back. So I call later in the day and they BLOCKED MY NUMBER. Goes straight to voicemail everytime. Just to point out I wasn't bugging them either, I called one time to see if they had an estimated ship date. So I call from another number and boom it rings through. And she says, oh my boss said it'll be a few more weeks and if you don't wanna wait we can refund you. These guys are SHADY

I took a differential in to be reconditioned.5 days later I picked up a reconditioneddifferential. It cost exactly what I was quoted, and is backed by a 3 year warranty. In my world, that's a win-winsituation!

This was my second visit, just as excellent at the first. The first, a couple weeks ago, they rebuilt the carrier for my Dana 80 in a couple hours. Today I brought in the pinion for it, it was in rough shape, theyhad cleaned up with new bearing pressed on with all the other parts to put it right back i . In and out the door today in less than 30 minutes. This will be my goto place for all my differential needs. Thank you very much.

Walt has been awesome to work with. I bought a differential from National in August well the mechanic that installed it did some things wrong and in this last snow storm the differential gave up the ghost. Had it towed to him and he has taken care of me in rebuilding the differential again. This time I have no doubts that it will work for a long time coming since he is the one rebuilding it this time.Walt gives fair estimates and does top quality work.

After a month of waiting for it to ship we made contact they guaranteed it would be shipped out the 12th of this month... I contacted them on the 14th it has not shipped the rear end is not complete and they do not know when it will be very frustrating I ordered 6 weeks ago and have no ETA... I hope the warranty is better than the "guarantee" if it ever shipsService: Steering & suspension replacement

I drove 715 miles from DFW (North Texas) to Colorado Springs to visit this shop. The rear differential on my 1999 Chevy Suburban was previously rebuilt by a local shop in my area and the workmanship was downright terrible. But after seeing reviews for National Differential and speaking with Walt, I knew this shop was going to take care of me. After they completed rebuilding my differential (in a half day s time!) and also helping out on a couple other things, it was quiet and MUCH smoother heading back home. Big thanks again to Walt and also Mike for taking care of my truck.

I've been in this place now twice. And both times got me the right parts even when a 4x4 parts store kept selling me the wrong ones. Had them get me a special seal to go in my dana 30. What ever your needing I'd hit this place up.Thanks Scott.

Great place to get your differentials transfer cases and manual transmissions rebuild or remanufactured units instock at most points in time Walt, Mike and George have always treated me right with great pricing will use them every chance i can get..

So far so good. Had my rear diff rebuilt and feels like a new truck again thanks to National Differential. Can t wait until my front diff comes in.
