I wish this place would stop coming up when I look up mechanics in my area. I called about a week ago about replacing a fuel filter and they quoted me $390 to do it. Almost $400 to change the external fuel filter on my 01 f150. My 01 f150 that has no damage or rust to the fuel system and an in line fuel filter. It's basically the easiest fuel filter to change ever, I just don't have a place to do it myself since moving into an apartment. $400????? Yeah right queen. The parts are like maybe $50 and the job should take less than an hour. You're charging almost $350 for under an hour of labor? Either you're clowning on me and overcharging me because you don't think I am going to notice (seems to be a common thing for women in the reviews now that I read them) or I need to quit my current job because apparently there is WAY more money in mechanic work than I remember. I guess alternatively none of the mechanics here know what they're doing, in which case hit me up with a job application if you want someone with experience. I'd LOVE to be charging $350 an hour for labor.

Honestly. Probably one of the best most trustworthy and honest places. I've ever been to have my car work done I looked at.After feeling cheated at other places, I decided to use this place for my oil changes and I have never been disappointed or unhappy with the service. Or the staff, they are all so kind and helpful.

Honestly, one of the best mechanics around. Not only did they alert me to issues after doing a free inspection, but they fixed them at an excellent price. These guys were kind and knowledgeable. They knew what they were doing and showed every issue to make sure that the customer knows what is wrong and how they would take care of it. Easiest 5 stars of my life.

I took my truck in to get a brake problem fixed, they said it was a part that had already been replaced three months prior. They assured me that the part was certainly the problem. I paid $570 for parts and labor and they sent me on the way and sure enough the problem still wasn t fixed. I tried calling them and they wouldn t answer the phone. Now they re closed today and I don t have transportation for work the day after. I d give 0 stars if I could.Update: I took my truck back so they could fix it after they failed to do so the first time and they re charging me even more despite not fulfilling the promise to fix it the first time. I need my vehicle fixed so I m paying them but I do not recommend coming here.Update part 2: after taking it back they insisted there wasn t a problem with the brakes so I took it back and after driving about five miles the problem continued and I lost my front brakes while going downhill. I tried calling the number left on other negative reviews and got no answer, left a voicemail and after 4 days no call back. Also I forgot to mention Eric had put me on hold in the middle of my sentence when I was complaining about my brakes not being fixed. This place couldn t possibly be worse,

Brought my husband's truck in because it was acting as though the heating core was going out. When we went to go pick it up, they basically said that nothing was wrong and that it was a fluke. They also decided to mark the paperwork as us refusing to get the core replaced when, in fact, they said that that wasn't needed. They seemed to think that power washing and flusing the engine/radiator would fix the issue that was just a fluke? Upon driving it again, the same issue happened. My husband brought it back, and they seemed willing enough to take another look. The mechanic even said at first that the heating core needed to be replaced. A few days later, we called to find out what they found. Again, we were told nothing was wrong. We were told that they drove it everywhere and nothing happened. So we pick the truck up a second time. Weirdly, when we dropped it off, the check engine light was on, but upon picking it up, the light was off, but they didn't do any work. So why is the engine light off now? Anyway, my husband goes to work the next day, and now the truck is knocking and basically overheating when driven. Again, a truck that was having a problem but was told 2 times by a mechanic that nothing is wrong is somehow worse than when we brought it in. Called customer care and was told that they don't own this location and would need to speak to the owner. Someone named Nate called and left a message, which we are assuming was from the direct owner. However, my husband has tried to call him back multiple times with no other response. Interestingly enough, we have always used this location because of a gentleman maned Nate who always took care of us. Would be interesting if these 2 people named Nate were the same guy. At any rate, this place has really gone downhill since the change of management. How are you going to tell a customer that nothing is wrong with their vehicle and them give it back in worse shape but shut the check engine light off?

I had an awesome experience today at Meineke. I brought my car in and was met with Tony at the front desk who listened very intently on what was wrong with my car. Within an 1.5 of it being dropped off I had a full diagnostic report sent to me with pictures/videos explaining in detail what was wrong and their suggested fixes. Within a few minutes after that Tony called me himself and walked me through explanations of anything I didn t understand. They did no work until the work order was approved by me with signature. I had my car back within 5 hours of dropping it off and they did excellent service.

Took my truck to get an oil change and brakes done. Not only did they want to overcharge for labor and services they didn t even put enough oil in my truck, it was a quart low and upon leaving I didn t even get home before my truck lost all power, threw a ton of codes, isn t getting any compression and now I m looking at thousands of dollars potentially to fix it all because these people don t know how to properly work on vehicles. They didn t even reset the oil life setting in the computer either. Absolute horrible experience! Stay away from this place. I have reached out to corporate to try and see if they are going to make it right..but upon calling the shop they wanted to charge me to tow it back to the shop and said they would investigate it themselves and see if there was any mistakes made like I trust the same people that messed my vehicle up in the first place!! Anyone saying these people know what they re doing probably has never worked on a car in their life.

Had a great experience here! Jo (I believe her name was, she is the manager) changed my oil and went over the issues she saw with my car. She was very nice and down to earth, and is probably going to save me a lot of money in the long run. Will always come here for my oils changes and service going forward!

Excellent one stop shop for most needs of our car and truck, including oil changes and front-end work. Jo, the service mgr, is prompt, thorough and respectful in communications. Meineke gets us in quickly and gets the job done right.

Meineke in Colorado Springs/ Old Colorado City was recommended to me by my girlfriend. Stopped in to get a 2nd opinion. Went ahead and had them do the work. Cheaper than my dealership. I appreciate them getting me right in and being able to walk out in under 2 hrs.

Amazing crew. Car was having problems. I replaced the parts I thought it needed, still had the problem. I took it to another mechanic and they wanted 1300 to throw parts at it until it was fixed. I towed it to Meineke and they charged me 150 for a full diagnostic. Apparently I needed to reset the computer to tell it I replaced the parts. Car runs great again.Great customer service, great mechanics, will definitely use again.Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto maintenance

Don't be fooled with the rating you see. I was in town on vacation and looked up oil change places and chose this location based on reviews. I did not pay attention that most of hood reviews were old. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change at 8am which ended up taking 3hrs. At about 2 hrs Jolene went ahead and charged me to speed up process and she said she had a $5 off coupon since I scheduled online. I mentioned to her that they had actually txt me a coupon for $20 off since I did full synthetic. I asked her if she needed I could show her. She said no. Apparently she was aware of it and just didn't intend to follow the offer her company was giving. 15 min later she decided to come back and tell me she broke the oil filter cover. She said it had been tighten too much but if she had the right tools dont feel in shouldn't have been issue. Mind you I had already been there 2.5 hrs and find it hard to believe she hadn't already done this before she charged me. She did say she would obviously replace the part but would be longer. While waiting another customer came in looking for the guy that ran the place before. Jolene mentioned he had gotten promoted. Apparently this customer had a great experience and was coming back because of the experience and trust he got there. That is long gone. At the end of 3 hr oil change, Jolene did apologize for the wait. I had no intentions of doing review and I told her no problem I just want to know things are done right. Didn't want to be stranded driving back to Texas with my 2 sons. In about Fort Worth, I noticed splatter on my running boards and sure enough there was a leak. I didn't have OIL! Luckily the gas station I was at had the exact full synthetic I needed. $70 later I was back on the road stopping ever hour to check my levels. Today I am getting another oil change to fix Jolene's error. Come to find out she did not put plug back on filter cover correctly. This was the last error that lead to this review. This company did not provide the service I paid for nor did they build trust with me. I would never use Meineke again. Guy that got promoted to DM might need to check in on the how the quality of service has dropped.Service: Oil change

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to fix our wheel bearings Saturday afternoon. We were in the Springs from out of town visiting family and we were fortunate to find Meineke.

My car started leaking an alarming amount of oil after having an oil change at this location, so I took it in as soon as possible to be looked at. I was told there was a recall on the oil filter they used which is where the oil was leaking from. While the shop took care of the situation as best they could by changing my oil and upgrading the filter free of charge, it is disappointing that there was not any sort of notification regarding the oil filter that was recalled. This could have been a worse situation causing damage to my engine had I not noticed the leak.

I am the General Manager of an Automotive repair shop back In Arizona, me and my wife were traveling on vacation when my car wouldn t start. I got it started and brought it to two other repair shops nearby that were extremely backed up for the week, my wife located Meineke and told me to stop there & since she is always right I listen to the wife and took the car there. I walked in and was greeted with a smile from Jo who knew exactly what I needed right away and got me in and out in a reasonable amount of time. She was a pleasure to deal with and kept me informed along the way. She is a super valuable employee, thanks again!

I am generally picky with auto services, but can say Meineke has good customer service, fair prices, and is honest and transparent with the services they perform. They are never pushy. Customer service agent can sometimes be confusing

Store Manager was rude. She told my friend things were wrong with the car that weren't. They overfilled her coolant (without telling us) to the point of it overflowing when the car was started and we had to remove nearly 12 Oz. Didn't even tell us about a nest in the engine. Store manager was pissy with us when we came back to get a printed copy of the safety inspection report. Overall horrible service. Appointment for a 20 minute safety inspection at 2 pm. They didn't examine the car until 4:30pm.Don't give this place your buisness.

Waited for my car for an oil change. Appointment was at 2, car was on the lift by 3, I was out by almost 4. They are really nice people, but the service was outrageously slow. I will be taking my dollars elsewhere.

Brake inspection done, no need to replace front or rear, but AutoNation Dodge (AND) in Colorado Springs said it was emergency need to replace. Have 1.5 years left on all for brakes. Highly recommend and will use Meineke for all oil changes, brakes and minor repairs. Got in next day where as AND was a month to get oil change and inspection done, then took 2.5 hours. Meineke was done with everything in 1.5 hours. No charge service and super friendly staff. Highly recommend.Service: Oil change

My mother brought her car in here because her blinker was not working. These crooks told her that it was probably a rodent that chewed through the wiring without even checking the basics first. She was there for 3 hours and they had her whole steering column torn apart when she finally stopped them. She insisted they didn t know what they were doing and told them to put her car back together. They were annoyed and broke a clip that holds the panel on while putting it back together and then fought with my elderly mom and tried to get her to pay $150 even though they hadn t diagnosed or fixed anything. She took her car somewhere else and they said it was a simple signal flasher relay which was diagnosed without tearing her entire car apart and breaking anything. The lady she spoke with (Jo or Jill I believe) was rude and couldn t care less that her techs have no idea what they are doing or that they broke the clips off. DO NOT GO HERE! If they think they can take advantage of you, they will.

EDIT: i called the number they listed below and went straight to voicemail. I do not think this is a real number in their review response.I have always supported Meineke but recently my experiences have not been good. We brought our vehicle in when a few lights came on, and a week went by with no update. Finally, after calling, we received an update that the car needed special parts sent in which they were waiting for. Fine, but why not call to update? Then, when the parts came in, I was told the car would be ready by the early afternoon. I arrived hours AFTER they said it would absolutely be done only to find out it was not done, and myself and another gentleman waited an hour after close to get my car. Still, one last part was not put back in but they said I could drive it home and take it back the next day. I brought it back the next day to have the last part put in, and drove off the lot only to have the lights I originally went in weeks earlier to have fixed come on 5 minutes into my drive. They told me I could bring it back, but I honestly have no desire after my experience and will go elsewhere.
