Ken and his crew are straight up honest, hard working people. I drive an hour and a half to have them work on my cars. It s not that I don t have a large number of service centers in my area (Denver), I truly have quite a large number to choose from. I drive that far because Ken gives an honest, fair, accurate assessment and estimate of the issue, and he delivers what he says he will. No funny business, no doubt if the issue was fixed correctly; it s done the right way every time!I have absolutely NO reservations about recommending K South Automotive to anyone.PS. They DO like doughnuts!! KSouth went above and beyond for us when we had a recent issue with our truck. We had a part break down less than 48 hours out of warranty. The shop took the time to call the supplier and work up the chain to someone who would honor the warranty. By finding the person able and willing to make that decision, KSouth saved our family a substantial amount of money. They truly care about their customers and delivered a wonderful experience in a timely manner!

I ve been using Ken, and his shop going on 12 years now. I ve never had a negative experience with K-South Automotive. Ken and his guys are always helpful, knowledgeable, and ready to take on any need my vehicles may require for repair, or maintenance. My brakes were shaking. Ken told me it was the front rotors warping and failing to displace heat because they had been shaved down too much for a heavy BMW mid size SUV. He got them changed asap and the job was done, it brakes smooth, and the cost was fair and certainly much less than I thought it would be. He did not try to upsell me to replace all the rotors and brake pads like other shops would have tried to do. He even told me my pads had a lot of meat left. Very honest man. Thanks KSouth!

Great shop! My car was having issues starting after I pumped gas. They were able to get my car seen , run a diagnostics & fix my car all in one day. I really needed my car for work & they were able to take care of it right away. The office was clean & well maintained. The staff was friendly & knowledgeable! As a woman often shops try and take advantage of us thinking we don t know about cars, here I never once felt that way. I really appreciated the follow up to make sure my car was running correctly.

Ken and all his employees have been nothing short of Amazing! Since our first engagement, they have been honest brokers. They've even saved me time and money by sending me back to the dealership to have something on our Infiniti fixed. You won't find a more honest mechanic shop around the Springs.

Ken, at K-South automotive, always takes great care of our cars. Pleasant atmosphere and caring employees. I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of or that typical "she's a woman, she won't know better" feeling a gal can get at other mechanics. If I could rate them with seven stars I would. Never experienced a better place in 50 years of owning vehicles. The work is done by skilled mechanics who take the time to answer questions. I've lived in Colorado Springs since 1980 and I've never found a better car repair business. Their facility is state of the art, the employees are highly-skilled, top-notch professionals, and they sincerely care about you and your vehicle. Horrible experience using this mechanic. Used to bring both of our household cars here for work and both cars had major problems, one because the mechanic didn t replace the oil cap, almost wrecked the whole engine. The other car was having battery issues so we asked them to check it out, said it was working great, no issues, a week later, the battery dies again and then a bunch of things went wrong because the battery issue was ignored. I will never return to this shop as I spent almost $4,000 this year fixing both cars after the bad service they had at K South. Not sure what the issue is, but I wholly regret ever using this business.

The team at K South Automotive is spectacular! I had my tires worked on there. They were quick, professional, and took great care of my car! I was most impressed with their honesty in pricing and what needed to be done. This place deserves more than 5 stars! After my vehicle started blowing an obscene amount of thick white smoke from the exhaust, I immediately was recommended to call KSouth by my friend and was instantly put at ease and prompted to bring it in for inspection. Jeff, the voice on the phone and first face you see, was nothing but kind and professional and immediately put me at ease. It was nearly closing time but Alex was kind and courteous enough to give me a free ride home. The following day Dustin and Dayton worked on my car and fixed everything. They worked extremely quickly and the cost was absolutely reasonable! I will be taking my vehicle back this weekend for them to make sure nothing else is leaking but my heart is at ease and I know that I can trust KSouth moving forward with any and all issues I have with any vehicle! Thank you KSouth! I will definitely be recommending you to anyone who has car troubles in the area! I went to KSouth and they diagnosed and fixed the problem first time. These guys are great. I originally had an alignment done SOMEWHERE ELSE. I had to take it back three times! It was still terrible. These guys are great. I used to be a mechanic so I am not easily impressed and can see a scam from a mile away. This shop is trustworthy and efficient.

Ken and his team are phenomenal. Before I found K-South, I used to dread taking my car in for anything because I often felt like I was given a run for my money. Now, I know I have a mechanic who is honest and trustworthy. Would highly recommend them again and again!

Honest and reliable mechanic. From the owner all the way to the front desk receptionist all worked very hard to fix my problems in a timely matter knowing I was on a fixed schedule due to having a new born and work.Ken also will accommodate you if you need to use a rental or he will come pick u up or drop off. Definitely a shop I left happy and not the feeling of I been ripped off. I recommend K South to anyone looking for a new mechanic. Thanks guys

Just had my truck break its front axle while driving on freeway. Went from 70 to 0 mph in about 150' and hit the guard rail. Ksouth had me in the same day and the owner, Ken spent a couple hours trying to find parts for me to help keep the price down to mitigate an already traumatic experience. An honest, hardworking mechanic to be sure. Couldn't recommend higher.

Ken is an amazingly skilled mechanic with over 35 years of experience, but just as important, he is very honest! He never suggests services or parts that my car doesn't need (or anyone I've ever sent his way), and he somehow manages to charge less than the previous places I have taken my car. When I first started going to Ken a couple years ago, it was after I went to the dealership and was told they "could not replicate" the problem my car was experiencing. Well, Ken had no problem "replicating" AND fixing the problem, to my delight. I've been going there ever since!

My timing chain/guide went out in my Nissan Xterra - and it totaled out my engine. It's been a disaster! Ken and his team replaced my engine and have been servicing my Xterra since to keep it running smoothly. What I love so, so, so much about K South is that they listen, address your needs and take care of you as quickly as possible. Ksouth is my go to when it comes with having work done on my Dodge Dakota. Great costumer service through the whole process. Everything always is done in a timely manner. I highly recommend this auto shop.
