These guys are professional and do great work! I had my transfer case rebuilt with new rear case, the water pump with both thermostats replaced and my rear rotors and pads replaced. Again the work was great with good pricing and service. I had to go back because my Pierre steering pump and gear box went out and they got me in with that taken care of and all of this was done working to the best they could with my schedule. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking great customer service and great work with very fair/good pricing!! Don t pass this place up!

Awesome crew! Was treated like family the whole time. Never once did I feel like I was getting the run around or screwed over. Vary knowledgeable crew. Owner is a great guy and personally gave me a ride home. They did my engine swap in only 2 days. Hands down recommend them for any and all vehicle repairs. I am a bodyman with 30 yrs experience so nobody usually touches my cars but me ... but I can always count on Chris and Shawn to handle something that is over my head , which doesn't happen often .... and I feel like I shouldn't even leave a review cause that should be left for the customers . they treat me more like family than a customer...

We have taken 2 cars to KC Motor Works in the past month and have had a stellar experience. The technicians take so much time to explain what needs to be done and why. The prices are fair and reasonable. The work is done quickly. The most outstanding aspect of this business is their customer service. They remember us by name, they remember our cars and the issues we have had. They give excellent advice that is relevant to our specific automobiles, and they take the time to be sure we are comfortable and have our questions answered. We won't be going anywhere else with our cars.

A true gem in the auto repair business. I have no doubts when I bring my cars here. They'll explain exactly what your car needs, give you options for repairs, and care about your concerns. They keep in touch too while it's being fixed. They prioritize so well, I've never had to wait too long for repairs. I'll always recommend this shop to my family and friends. You know you're getting the exact diagnosis and never being taken advantage of either. Take your car here when you need repairs because you'll be very impressed with the customer service.

Great team they communicate well, were honest and had integrity, fixed multiple issues my van had, they did not tell me everything was fine like another automotive shop in town had, they we're so understanding, they did a wonderful job, affordable, and kind. This is the best auto shop in Colorado Springs. It s the most reasonable price for the absolute best work in the city, if not the state. My entire family sees Chris and KC Motor Works for all our auto shop needs. I have used KC Motor work for over 8 years. I do not trust my vehicles to anyone less. Their team of professionals are very knowledgeable and friendly. They have kept all our vehicles in top running condition. The people that work here are excellent in every way. I own a Dodge 3500 5.9 diesel 2006. They only do the work that is necessary, very informative. I highly recommend this business in every way possible. Their commitment to quality work, informative information, follow through.Constent communication through out the service, even when they do not have your vehicle, they will help you possibly figure out the problem over the phone.Jim

This has to be one of the best mechanics I've ever used. They work on just about anything. I've had my cummins diesel and my BMW X5 in for repairs and these guys are, hands down, the best. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get a vehicle fixed. They will do it, they will do it right and they will do it with great customer service.

Chris at KC Motor Works provides excellent and reliable service at a fair price. We are new to the area and were hesitant at having our vehicles serviced after going the same maintenance provider for years. Luckily we found Chris and felt we could trust him to do fair and reliable work. We bought a Tahoe from a local dealer that had a load of undisclosed problems. Chris ended up working on our exhaust manifold, intake manifold, he cleaned our injection system and replaced the transfer case. We were quickly on our way to ending up broken down on the side of the road. Now I feel like I drive my children in a reliable vehicle. He took us from getting 10 mpg to 15 mpg. We have no regrets with taking our vehicle to Chris and are not at all hesitant to recommend him to others.

I have found my shop! I couldn't be more thrilled that I finally gave Chris and KC Motor Works a try. They got my X3 back up and running in less than a day. They have a lifelong customer here. Usually taking my car to the shop is a stressful experience, shuffling kids, car seats, borrowing an unfamiliar car. All of that was alleviated as soon as I called them. Fair pricing, absolutely zero pushiness, professional, but down to earth. Won't be going anywhere else!

We ve been customers here for 2 years with 3 vehicles. I am not a car person. Sean (he works up front but is also a mechanic) is extremely knowledgeable and explains things very well, so we can make an informed decision on our cars. This shop does excellent work, they are very trustworthy and excellent communicators. 100% I recommend this shop!

Called around to various shops to get pricing on a water pump/timing belt. Not only was Sean at KC the nicest, but they were by far the best priced. They got the job done quicker than expected and did an excellent job. They are trustworthy and will not price gouge you like a number of other shops around here. They have my business from now on.

I was looking for a knowledgeable mechanic to work on my diesel and saw their positive rating. I called and they seemed like they would take care of my car. Well, that was a huge mistake! They overfilled my oil by nearly 2 quarts! They told me I needed new brakes and quoted me an insane amount. I just had my brakes done and the pads look new on my car. Do not bring your car here!

This place is fantastic! I'm new to the diesel world. And by that, I own a school bus. Not only did this place cater to my walk in status, but they also worked with my dogs and I since I live on the bus. This place deserves your business bc not many places are gonna be so willing to work with you for your patronage. They taught me a lot and they even taught me how to save on money for a repair that's gonna come up down the road. This place rocks! Thanks for helping w everything!

Always wonderful, great team, trustworthy, excellent work, very good price! We would never again take our cars somewhere else. We always feel well treated, never cheated, never have to have any doubt...such a gift to know where to go when you need help with your cars! Oh, and they are picky about where they get their parts, only the best for their customers!

My first experience with KC Motor Works was with a squealing Toyota Camry after a recent oil change and Chris quickly saw two things: 1) The oil wasn't cleaned off properly, leaking onto my driveway, and 2) the need for brake replacement. He had the part on order and my car repaired within two days, even lent me some brake cleaner to get the oil off the pavement. He gave me updates along the way and was extremely communicative, helping me understand what was being done and why.My second experience with KC Motor Works involved a lemon of a van. The hoses blew, the brakes caught fire, the car lost its electric juice... you name the issue, we had it. Chris immediately got the van in to have a look. He fixed the problem areas so the van was usable, but instead of giving an "all clear, you'll have no more problems." statement, unlike most mechanics, he actually gave me the advice to get rid of the van! An honest mechanic who knows the importance of my family's safety!My third experience was after a botched walmart oil change. The filter plug was stripped, and I had to have my car towed. Chris immediately took care of me and provided service above and beyond my expectations. He even worked all the details with my towing and insurance company so it was a very simple process.I will always go to KC Motor Works for family oriented, quick, and professional service.Thank you!

Outstanding service. Chris at KC motor works was extremely helpful and descriptive about everything that was going on with our vehicle. Great communication and very transparent throughout the entire repair. From now on I will be taking all my vehicles to KC motor works for service and repair. As a guy who does a lot his own MX, I hate admitting I need help. KC is now my go to shop. This is based on speed, clarity, honesty, and simple down to earth business model. I had a problem with a fuel line I thought I had fixed myself but I was kinda skeptical. I talked to Shawn and was set up for an appointment, his first question was shouldn t this be under warranty from the manufacturer . I responded yes, but I would rather work with KC . 10min later they had given my fuel system a common sense check and sent me on my way. For those used to going to dealers- a great difference at KC is you get to talk to the actual mechanic who works on your ride!

KC Motor Works is my new go-to auto repair shop. This is a family owned business, where you will get an honest assessment of your car/truck's needs from a very friendly staff. My truck's work was done in an expedient manner, for a very fair price, and Chris, the owner, went out of his way to show and explain to me the work that needed to be done. Shaun and his team were very efficient in fixing my explorer that had quite a few problems. Shaun explained everything to me every step of the way and made sure I knew what was happening and why it needed to happen by showing me the problems on the old parts. Everyone here was very nice and their waiting room is nicely decorated and you wont get dirty or smell like a workshop after you leave, like you would if you went to another mechanic. Highly recommend this place for their fast and efficient work and great attitudes.

I don't normally have repair needs on my vehicles, but when a quick fix of my caliper was needed these guys were on point. They were very reasonably priced, very efficient, and got it in and out in no time. I would hands down recommend these guys to anyone who has auto repair needs. Also, knock on wood, but if I ever need another repair this is the only place I will go from now on.

KC Motor Works is number one!!! For years, I have dreaded taking my cars anywhere for maintenance or repairs, as I never felt as though I could fully trust the business or mechanic. That is not true when I have had my cars worked on by Chris at KC Motor Works. Chris is straightforward, honest, dependable and talented. He takes the time to properly diagnose the problem and makes the repairs proficiently. I will never take my cars anywhere else. Thanks Chris for the great service!

Honest company, great service, excellent turn around time. We've used KC Auto Works for a few years now and will continue to do so. I have dealt with a few mechanics that have given my husband and I different answers when it comes to the vehicles and repairs needed, Chris has never done that.

I've had several unfortunate vehicle problems and some really bad experiences with dishonest and down right scammers at some other mechanic shops. but KC motor works is the opposite of that they are very professional and fairly priced as well as great customer service .I own a plumbing company and down time means I'm losing money but with KC motor works is fast and efficient thank u for all your great work.

These guys are awesome! I have not had a better experience in a mechanics shop in my life. I am a do it yourself type of guy when it comes to vehicles, but after messing around with my fianc�es Jeep Grand Cherokee blend door actuators for too darn long I gave in. These guys were very fair, didn t upcharge on my parts and got it done the same day! I will be back for other work needed on both my vehicle and hers. Best shop in town, would recommend to anyone. Thanks KC Autoworks, keep it up, y all are keeping customer service alive, which is hard to find these days! Thanks again!

Shawn did a pre-purchase inspection on a used truck I was looking at from a local dealer. He was beyond accommodating and respectful of my timeline, did a thorough inspection, and the provided some of the most reasonable quotes for conducting the work. He did all my shocks, differential fluids, transmission fluids, and even installed my gooseneck hitch for me. As a cherry on top he even met me after hours so that I could collect my truck as I passed through town as I don't live in the area. I've already decided I'm driving out of my way to take my truck to Shawn any time it may need a significant repair because I am so pleased with the work done. Thank you, guys!

I've been doing business with KC Motor Works since Kris opened his shop and I'll never take my vehicles elsewhere. There's two primary reasons, Kris and by extension his staff are honest. The second, is this shop actually performs troubleshooting on your vehicle, rather then just replacing components based strictly on what OBD code they see. Troubleshooting is part art form, part detective work and takes a holistic understanding of the system you're troubleshooting. The folks at KC Motor Works are outstanding troubleshooters, which means they have a holistic understanding of vehicles and it's why I trust them with the cars I depend on everyday.
