Fantastic shop with very helpful mechanics that make sure the job is done right. Travis resurfaced two flywheels for me to the exact specs I gave him after two other machine shops had botched each of them. He went out of his way to set the machine up precisely for my specific flywheels, set up a jig for proper step height measurement, and did it all for a better than fair price. The people at the front desk were also very helpful and made sure I was taken care of promptly.I ll definitely be coming back here for any work I need and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good shop.

I had my oil change completed at JC Repair. It was a great experience! Given that I have an older vehicle, I knew ahead of time that there are other issues than just needing the oil changed. Chris went over the list of things they found during their inspection and told me what the techs felt needed to be done immediately and what could wait a bit longer to be taken care of. There was no pressure to do any of the additional and I appreciated the no-pressure approach.I also got to meet Travis and Nicole, the owners, and they are both extremely nice and welcoming and it's obvious that they have a heart for their customers, employees, business, and community. I highly recommend JC Repair to anyone who wants their vehicle well taken care of!

I was referred to JC Repair by a friend. I truly despise going to most repair shops but my friend gave this place such a positive review I decided to try them out. They kept me informed on repairs the entire way and it was much less than I assumed it would be (based off many other repair shops). I dropped my car off when they opened and got the call it was finished before 4pm the same day. The repairs included brakes/rotors, a belt, a filter, spark plugs, and they even checked on things for me that I was worried about but needed no repair. I ll definitely continue going to them for my repair needs !

In response to your reply, I laugh you had my car on 2 different days and each time I drove it home the CHECK ENGINE light came on within 3 miles of your shop. I shared the codes from my reader each time. You can say you didn t know, but you did. A few people on Facebook recommended JC Auto Connection so I decided to give them a try because I knew my Toyota Sienna needed new front brakes. BIG MISTAKE!!About 30 minutes after dropping it off they called to say they ran diagnostics and I needed a new Valve Gasket for $1100. I decided to trust them and authorized the repair. It took them all day but they called to say it was done. I drove 3 miles and the CHECK ENGINE light comes on along with a few others on my dash. I pulled over and called them and Left a message as they had already gone for the day. I got it home and put my Code Reader on it and I got 3 critical codes. I called my son who is a certified master mechanic with Acura in Dallas and he said the car needed to be towed back to the mechanic. I called them first thing the next morning and they said they'd look at it. Had it towed in and then rented a car for the day $$. I sent them pictures of all the codes from the reader. They called me HOURS later to say they couldn't find anything wrong with it!! They said I could pick it up, and it's fine. PICKED UP the car and drove it about 5 miles and AGAIN the CHECK ENGINE light comes on AGAIN! I pull over and plug in my code reader and again get several serious codes. I drove it the last 2 miles to my home saying prayers. This time I get different SERIOUS codes. My son tells me to get it to a Toyota service department and NOT go back to JC Auto Connection. I call Toyota, tell them the codes and they say it MUST be towed it - and they gave me a loaner vehicle. They ran the diagnostics and got the same codes as me. I gave them the rundown of the past two issues with JC and showed them the previous codes and they ran additional diagnostics to be sure the engine was repaired properly. It turns out I needed new parts to replace the work that was done. They only charged me for parts and gave me a discount on labor. Still, ANOTHER $300+. The service advisor told me I should call JC AUTO Connection and have them reimburse me for the cost of work by Toyota.I did call and that's when Curtis took a "mansplaining" tone with me, telling me that my code reader must be bad because they did not get any of the codes that I got. Yet, Toyota confirmed them for me, with photos of THEIR code reader. Curtis then told me that because I took my car to someone else they couldn't trust the work of the other mechanics. He said they would have done the repairs for free. I explained that they had TWO CHANCES to repair my car and both times my check engine lights came on with serious codes. Again, he insisted that I must have read the codes wrong.Long story short, DO NOT go to JC Auto Connection!

Ever since Craig sold, this place is trash. Screwed my friend's car up and refused to fix it. Had to take it to the dealer to get fixed. Dealer confirmed they had butchered the original repair. They refused to make it right and tried to say it was my mom's fault and then proceeded to say the service department at the dealership was wrong. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else.

I've been taking my car here for several years now at a relative's original recommendation, and they've always been excellent. They're honest, just, and Chris at the front desk will take time to patiently explain things well so I can make an informed decision. Just yesterday, I brought my car in with issues rendering it undrivable, and they managed to squeeze me in and get my car back today (that's obviously not always possible depending on parts and other commitments, etc., but they work hard to help people!). Good ole' friendly, hard-working, local business. It's rare that I take the time to craft a review, but these guys deserve it. Only have good things to say.

10/10 would recommend jc auto. I have been going there for almost 2 years now & they have never let me down. I recently had my 4Runner break down, they got old rusty in there & done before I knew it. Chris behind the counter, you rock! Thank you everyone at jc repair for constantly being the auto shop we need. You guys do a great job. For that I thank you personally.Service: Engine repair

First time coming here and the service was great! I felt like all of my needs were met and definitely more. I went in originally for one problem (my tire pressure light) and the night before coming in I had another light pop up for a full service (brake fluid, oil change, and tire rotation), what are the odds! I was worried I d have to wait another week or two to get the last minute service in, but they were more than willing. The staff told me they ve been around since 1979 and I can definitely see why! JC Repair replaced our head gasket in a Subaru. Leaked oil a bit afterwards for a week. Took it back and they replaced a damaged gasket and fixed the leak under warranty. Appreciate their honesty and follow through.

I was referred to Japanese Connection by a friend who's been taking her vehicles to JC for YEARS. Recently lost my machanic that was outstanding & a dealership is not who I wanted servicing my car.I own a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek (manual transmission), 28,000 miles, it was time for an oil change & tire rotation. Decided to go in person to make an appt., met Kraig, told him how I found out about JC, he wasvery attentive, easy going & focused!Returned 4 days later for excellent service on my Subaru, itemized invoice, parts, labor description just a thorough professional caring business. I highly recommend JC Auto Repair!

Craig, the owner was kind and honest. They fixed my car, gave me a ride to and from work and gave me a discount. I am confident in their skills and if the need arises to have my car fixed again they are my go to guys. I was referred to JC auto from an acquaintance, so I took my car in for a knocking sound. The customer service was excellent both over the phone as well in person. Very kind and knowledgeable. I felt that they were honest, exhibited integrity when communicating with me as to what my car really needed and what didn't need to be done. Chris was very thorough in explaining to me the diagnosis and in communicating as to what it would take to fixing the problem. They also went above and beyond normal customer service protocol by correcting the previous service center's mishaps. I feel like I have a real mechanic that will honestly help me extend the life of my car!Service: Brakes

I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I am clueless about cars and Chris was very patient with me. I had to get my car's transmission replaced and Chris/JC repair were very understanding of my situation and gave me the best deals/price compared to other auto repair stores. Chris regularly kept me updated about my car and was very easy to work with and gave me plenty of advice. My car would not start and the battery was fine, so I had it towed to JC Repair.I talked to Chris a number of times that Friday, trying to coordinate with him, when my car would arrive.Once my car made it to J C Repair, Chris called to let me know it was the starter and that I could pick it up Monday.He called me Monday morning to let me know I could pick up my car (it was even done early).Thank you for making my experience at J C Repair go so smoothly!

Wow! Am I ever impressed. I am from out of state and ended up needing extensive repairs done to my older model Prius. The overall bill was less than what I was quoted, and the customer service was excellent. From start to finish the experience with JC Repair was top notch. The is the first time in a long time I have dealt with a company that was super duper professional, friendly and most importantly honest and also was concerned about the safety of my vehicle. I would recommend JC repair to anyone. Chris is the one I dealt with personally but his colleagues were just as nice. Awesomeness all the way around. One of the best repair experiences I've had. I've been twice now and they are very professional, honest, thorough, and good people. I asked for a shuttle to work the day they did my brakes and the owner personally took me himself. The work was top notch and they informed me of maintenance I needed to prepare for in the future. I ve been bringing my cars here since about 2016 now and these guys are awesome. Katie and Chris are super friendly people who are always happy to help and work hard to give the cheapest, but also honest quotes. I ve had multiple instances where the final price after repairs has been lower than the initial quote, and I love that...so does my wallet.The work done by the mechanics is top notch as well. I ve only ever had to bring my car back after a repair once, due to a faulty spark plug they put in, and they fixed it next day with no questions asked for free - if that s not an honest mechanic who stands by their work and their customers, I don t know what is. I've trusted about 1/2 dozen of my cars to JC over the last 20 years. They are honest, accurate in their diagnosis and fair with their pricing. I always appreciate military discount too! They keep you up to date on the diagnosis, and let the owner decide whether to proceed with repair. I've recommended many of my friends to Japanese connection and will continue to bring all of my family's cars to them--because I trust their professionalism. One last note--their courtesy driver takes you home or to work, so you're not stuck there waiting. I was half way home before I realized my DRIVER owned the shop...good way to get feedback from your customers--I'm impressed.

This is the place to take your vehicle for repairs. Honest, fast, knowledgeable and friendly. Talk to Craig for Hondas. I had a blocked EGR passage that I had diagnosed myself - a classic Honda issue. JC Repair was familiar with the repair and had it done by lunchtime saving me hundreds of dollars from what the dishonest Honda Dealership had quoted me. In addition JC repair provided a ride home and back and did not recommend any unnecessary services while the Honda Dealership tried to get me to do $1000's in unnecessary services that had already been done. If you need help go to JC repair they are honorable folks. Thanks again guys; I know that's a tough one and you did an excellent job!
