I considered not leaving this review at all, because the owner replies to each negative review saying why the customer is at fault instead of taking accountability. However, I could not believe how bad my service was, so I decided to leave a review.My car took 8 weeks to finish, instead of the expected 3 weeks. When I got the car back, it was not put back together properly. The clips on the plastic piece of lining that goes under the fender were broken off, so that piece of plastic doesn t sit right. The rocker is bent. There is a piece of trim missing by my windshield. There is paint on my window. My roof is scratched up. One of the back window mouldings was not put on correctly, so it was moving around. In addition to this, there were hail dents that the shop had missed on my rear passenger door, and on the moulding above both passenger doors. I included pictures of the bent rocker, the wheel lining where the clips were broken off, the roof scratches, and the window moulding that wasn t put back correctly.I brought these complaints back to the shop, and asked for my deductible back. The first thing the owner did was accuse me of breaking and denting these areas of my car just to get money from him. He said that there was no way the car would ve been returned to me in that condition, so I must have done it myself. He eventually agreed that my car was badly done, and the solution he provided was for him to fix the car for free. However, after he accused me of breaking my own car, I felt more comfortable paying a different shop to fix my car than to have him fix it for free. He did not take me seriously at all.

Highly recommended! Same day service! I dented my car s trunk lid. I took my car to a paintless dent repair shop and was told I would have to replace my entire trunk lid. Because of their busy schedule, my car could not get scheduled for repair. Luckily, I was recommended to take my car to Heizer Hail Repair shop and to speak with the owner, Richard. Not only did Richard take on the job, he promised same day service at a reasonable price and did not replace my trunk lid. If you live in the Colorado Springs area, do not waste your time going anywhere else! Heizer Hail will give you an honest assessment and will charge reasonable prices. I highly recommend Heizer Hail being your first option.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Heizer Hail Repair and I must say, the experience was outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by owner Richard with a friendly hello. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to look at the damage on my car. Then explained the repairs needed for my vehicle in a clear and concise manner so that I could understand and make an informed decision. I am grateful that he helped take away some major stressors that I was having about the damage. Richard personally helped and ended up saving me hundreds to a couple of thousand dollars.I highly recommend Heizer Hail Repair to anyone in need of automotive services. I am so glad I came to Heizer for my car repairs! Back in July, my brand new Camry got hit in a hail storm out of Walsenburg and I was devastated. Richard and his crew checked out my car the day I called them and assured me that they were able to fix everything that was damaged. I was so afraid of my car being totaled, but they all comforted me that it would not and they d do their best to make sure it is fixed at a reasonable cost. I brought in my car a week later and picked it up 2.5 weeks later. My Camry was as new and beautiful as before! Thank you Richard and your crew!4 months later, I brought my car back to Richard to check out some wires in my mirror that had to be removed during the repairs and Richard was able to find out what was wrong and fixed it in less than 5 minutes! Again, I m so glad I went with Richard s business!

I've had such a nightmare with this place. Richard said 3 weeks. They kept it over 9 weeks! Even though it was ready on Saturday, they kept it till Monday and didn't even call me to come get it. I called them and asked if I could come get it. At first they blamed the delay on back ordered parts, then my insurance, now the paint shop. It's never "their fault". I ran out of rental coverage after 3 weeks. When I asked my insurance for more coverage they said that Heizer didn't even send in their estimate until they had the car for 6 days on Dec 12th. At first Richard was nice and said I could take the rental car cost out of the deductible ($500), but when I talked to him 3 weeks ago, he was condescending and rude. Now when I went to pick it up, he openly said he was going back on what he said about letting me take the rental cost off my deductible. NO INTEGRITY AT ALL. I checked in once a week because they've never called me to update me and they lie saying they'll call back and never do. I've now spent $1,400 on the rental after my insurance paid $1,200 for the first few weeks, a cost I never anticipated, especially right after Christmas and now I've just given birth Jan 26th and spent the entire last month stressed as I lose money every day.The owner Richard has responded to this review denying responsibility and blaming Statefarm and I have both the estimate he sent in to my insurance 12-12-23 and the payment confirmation from my insurance paying him over $10k on 12-21-23 proving they didn't take 20 days to get back to him and that he took 6 days to even send the estimate. This has been so stressful. Also, reimbursing me for the rental would be the right thing to do as a business owner, not a special surprise I've lost the privilege to because you don't think I have a right to be upset about this situation. Also, I picked up my car and there's something wrong with the CPU and the engine light is on and I now had to immediately take it to the dealership to get fixed (more money I'm losing) and pay for a rental again.

had the worst experience, they told me for 2.5 weeks they were waiting on my insurance to come approve the supplement when in reality they hadn't even reached out to my insurance. My insurance reached out to them to get it approved. Every time I called they kept adding time to the repair. When the car was finally done the front desk lady said to come for 8am on a Saturday then didn't show up until 9am so I waited an hour just standing around. No one went over the car with me, my seat-belt on my driver side is now broken it won't retract which has to be a product of their repairs because there was NO issue before I dropped the car off. There was the old damaged pieces and a dirty towel left in my back seat. Just an all around awful experience took 6 weeks for the whole process. I understand multiple cars were affected by the hail storm but if you didn't have the capacity to fix my car in a timely manner you shouldn't have had me drop it off. I spent over 1200 on a rental. After reading reviews I was feeling good picking this place but after my experience I will NEVER allow them to touch my vehicle again and will NEVER recommend them to another person. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!!

They took very good care of my car for the time they had it. When I got it back, you could never tell that I had hail damage! They got me in the day I called for an estimate and walked me through some questions that insurance wasn t helpful on. Richard was great to work with and very nice throughout the whole experience! If you want to be dismissed & ignored by the owner himself, this is the PERFECT place to go. I brought my car in & dropped it off & explained my situation. I had an unexpected family emergency come up requiring me to go out of town so i called them to see if i could pick up my car. They said yes it could be ready in about 2 hours. I go back to the shop two hours after that phone call & the owner comes out to my car, puts the headliner back & walks away. I stand there for about 15 minutes before i go look for him & asked him if i was good to go or if i m waiting for something. He then says Yes you re all set. I ask about the visors & everything else that wasn t on my car & he said i could put that all on at about 6pm but i have to charge you . Why didn t you say this before walking off? You & your staff are very unprofessional & i felt discriminated against for you assuming i didn t have money to pay for what i asked when i called your receptionist & told her to have my car READY the way i dropped it off. People like this make me not want to support local businesses, very unprofessional, rude & dismissing. Customer service can do a lot for a business & the only reason you guys have it, is because of the hail storms in Colorado making every other shop 6 months out. Nothing else.As we were leaving the owner walked out & my husband asked him why he didn t say anything instead of walking off. The owner continued to have a conversation with my husband COMPLETELY ignoring me anytime i tried to say anything & would not make ANY eye contact with me.Edit:There was no free work done on my car .. All you did was drop the headliner, which no one paid you to do, not I or my insurance. I hesitated to sign the paperwork & told you all i wanted was the estimate which you then said signing gives us permission to get in the car & drive it around. I made it clear all i wanted was an estimate. I didn t suddenly change my mind, i had a family emergency & had to leave town. I walked out of the office the same way you walked away from me when all you did was pull the visors out of the car. You could ve told me at that time to put it together it was gonna be an extra cost instead of walking away.I never said i wanted an insurance check i said if you could try to total it, which you agreed to, so yes let s be honest, i asked you to total it & the very first time i met you, you brought up the value of the car & you said you could try to push the numbers to total it. I didn t take advantage of your company all you guys did was drop the headliner & take the visors off .. I told your receptionist have to have it ready in two hours the way it was when i dropped it off & she said okay we can do that only to find out it wasn t done & found out hours later I had to pay for, which i wasn t comfortable paying after the interaction we had with you. Again, no one paid you anything or has yet to pay you, so dropping the headliner was again working for free.Have the day you deserve.

This is the best Body Auto Shop in town because the workers are very kind and helpful and they get the job done and they are serious about what they do if they do it s they do it s right. And if they say they are going to say something they don t hold off until 2 days or 1 week they do it s now like today. Mr. Heizer is excellent at what he does. I had some dents in my car and he made my vehicle look like new. He is very personable and extremely knowledgeable. Most of all he has integrity- he explained everything to me beforehand including the cost of his services. Richard absolutely rocks! Had my truck in for hail repair. Worked with my insurance with no hassle to me. Much quicker turn around then other places and kept me updated on the process. Probably bugged him with too many questions but he always responded promptly and courteously. Living in CO I expect my truck will need it again and will go back without hesitation. Only issue I had was the trim around the windshield came loose. This was the fault of the glass guys and not Richard but he still got me in and fixed it right away at no charge. A+ work and customer service!

Heizer Hail Repair has to be one of the best, honest work out there. Goes out of his way to make sure you're taken care of. I've seen work of many dent repair work and his work is one of the best. I recommend as much people I can to him for the great honest work he does.

I just got a beautiful brand new car... Hadn t even had it a week when I backed into a mailbox... I was so upset!!! My back passenger door had 2 dents and 2 pretty deep scratches. I posted in a FB group trying to gauge how much it would cost to fix it, and that s when the owner of Heizer hail reached out to me. Richard was very helpful, and reassured me that it would not break the bank to fix my car. The mailbox incident happened on a Sunday, my car was in the shop the next day. It only took a week to fix! They did such an amazing job painting the door, the paint shop that they contract with (brothers auto body shop) has great customer service and really nice people working there! You would never be able to tell that my car had a ding or scratches on it! I would highly recommend going through Heizer Hail company for any damages you have to your car! Thank you Richard so much for helping me out, you guys are the greatest!
