Chris and Eric are absolutely solid! I severely needed an alignment as I was rubbing on full lock on the fender and pinch welds towards the cab of my 3rd Gen Tacoma. Got my truck scheduled in less than one business day, aligned and rolling perfectly with no more rub. Chris also educated me on the process, and on my upper control arms (not gonna name bash, you can ask Chris lol) that has a built in 3* caster but does the opposite of what you need bringing the wheel closer to the cab.. Chris got my alignment dialed in at 6* caster while maintaining a damn near perfect toe and camber. Not to mention Chris also did some body modification as requested and worked on the cam tabs during this process to make sure everything was spot on. Needless to say, get it done right the first time and from a team that s been doing it longer than most offroad overland companies have been in business. Wish I would ve known about Hefty before I lifted my truck. I will be back for any and all future needs. Thank you Hefty!!! See you guys soon.

I bought the Rock Sliders for my Nissan Frontier.Right from the start, Customer service was exemplary!I Had them shipped to my mechanics who were impressed with the integrity of the build and ease of installation.They're rough, they're tough and they look Great!No more bending the OEM side steps!I couldn't be more pleased.

I have had several experiences with hefty fav works. These guys provide top notch customer service which is very very hard to find these days anywhere especially with vehicle mod businesses. Many take your $$ and leave you in the dark. Not Hefty fab works. They communicate with you and if you have questions or special requests they are on it. My wife loves her new 4R bumper and her washer fluid res guard from these guys.The bumper was well built, welds looked really good and clean, all hardware provided was provided and there,instruction online were pretty clear and easy. Fit and finish of the bumper was spot on. Hefty fab works has my business for life and my recommendation every time I see someone asking about bumpers.Thank you David Mietzner for all your help with my orders.

This company right here is a great example of why you should shop locally.The bumper: installed on my Nissan Xterra 2015, the craftsmanship is beautiful. All the holes line up, etc. I went ahead and rhino lined the steel and it looks nice and perty. They provide a few bolts to replace the factory bumper/frame bolts. It's heavy, it took two grown men to lift the bumper, and a cherry picker to put together and take apart. You could do this by yourself, but I suggest utilizing Jack stands or chocks so you don't drop it on a hand or foot.Why you should use hefty fabworks: I installed the bumper, and realized I was not sent the parts that mount my spare tire to the bumper. I was bummed and shot them an email asking how we could fix the situation. I went ahead and called as well to leave a voicemail since they were closed. Maybe 15 minutes later I got a call back from a gentleman there saying he was sorry that part was missing and would have his team send it out the next business day. That's the sort of customer service you won't find unless you shop local.Install notes: I had to go to the local hardware store to pick up 4 bolts to mount a part of the bumper, but in the long run that's nothing when you get a beautifully crafted piece of equipment. And Hefty Fab if y'all read this, a suggestion for the Xterra rear swing out bumper would be to maybe include a video of how to mount the bearings. That was the only real hangup on my install. Otherwise great work, thank you.

Eric was easy to work with. They got me in quickly and did a great job with a body mount chop on my 07 4runner. Great work at a fair price. Will be coming back for any future needs

The guys at Hefty rock! I worked with Dave and briefly with the owner Chris on getting a front skid plate for the Rocky Mountain Roundup. Not only did they get it to me in time they have made themselves available after hours, on the weekend to answer my questions on the install. Seriously, these guys went above and beyond to help me out and provide me exceptional customer service.Ask for Dave if you are thinking about anything as he is super helpful and a rockstar if you need something in a pinch.Great Colorado company and far and above on the customer service side.

Researched quite a bit before I decided to go with hefty fab works rock sliders for my 22 4runner. What decided it for me was not only their outstanding product, but their great customer service. I called hefty to get some information related to my vehicle and my call went to voicemail. Not two minutes later, As I was starting to call another company to get info, hefty called back. Their quick call back and helping to answer my questions in a knowledgeable and friendly way did it for me. That's the kind of company I want to deal with. Their product shipped and got here sooner than I was expecting. Installation was a breeze after watching video and I couldn't be happier with the product. These rock sliders are well built and I'm confident that they will do their Job protecting my vehicle. Thanks Hefty Fab works I look forward to getting more of your great products in the future!

Wow!!! I cannot say enough for the guys at Hefty Fab Works. They have been doing some of my fab work for a couple years now and they are amazing. Working with Chris and Eric has been an amazing experience and they great to work with. Their knowledge, professionalism and fabrication skills are of the utmost quality you will ever find. If you can dream it, they CAN build it. There isn't anything these guys can't do. Don't waste your time with other custom shops because I can guarantee you won't find anyone better than thee guys at Hefty Fab Works, their worth ever penny Thank you HFW.....I'll be back!!!!Mike Murphy

Absolutely one of the best shops in the industry out there today! Eric and Chris went out of their way to help with an existing parts warranty issue I was having after moving cross country. They were extremely helpful in diagnosing the problem as well as providing upgrade/replacement recommendations for my vehicle at a great price. The only shop I'll use in Colorado!

I ve taken both my 19 Sequoia and 19 Tacoma in to Hefty for work and the end result has been awesome.On my Tacoma they tubbed my front wheel well, did a more aggressive bmc, rebuilt my King shocks and replaced bushings and ball joints on my Dirt King LCAs. I was able to stuff 35 x 11.5 Kendas without any rub thanks to the tubbed wheel wells and bmc. The work they did in the wells was definitely top notch.They recently installed a Dobinsons 2.5 inch lift, Corsa exhaust, SPC uppers, 295/70r18 Falkens on Icon wheels, and Total Chaos cam tab gussets on my Sequoia. She rides beautifully now and the welds on the cam tab gussets are perfect.They ll be my first stop for accessories and upgrades on my 4x4s from now on.

The Hefty Fab team did an amazing job on the front bumper/winch/light bar install on my 5th Gen 4Runner...also had them do a body mount chop to get rid of tire rub issue and the work is very nice. Very fortunate to have the ability to get work like this done locally. Check out the before and after pics!!

Got some rock sliders from Hefty. Got them faster than expected, I even got an email from the man himself! Chris Hefty! Who answered some questions I had, great customer service.. great price for an awesome American hand made product. Recommend them 100% .

I recently bought an engine skid plate for my Nissan Frontier and I am so impressed. It was very well made, came quickly, and was easy to install. The only thing to be aware of is that the holes are not designed to remount the factory radiator skid plate, they are designed for the HFW skid plate, so I had to drill and mount that myself. Other than that, this thing is solid! Check out my pictures comparing it to the factory one. Note, I did paint my gray because it comes bare metal. Thanks Hefty Fabworks!

my other truck was in a collision and the Hefty bumper needed replaced. The truck was spared any frame or body damage due to the engineering and build quality of the bumper. We were not injured as the bumpers mounting brackets absorbed the impact. Hefty Fabworks build a replacement bumper and I just picked the truck up, and it looks great. The safety that the Hefty bumper provides my family make me sold on this product. I will be adding a Hefty bumper to my other truck soon. Thank you Hefty Fabworks!Thanks for upgrading my Tundra's worn out suspension to a modern suspension that handles hwy & offroad driving. This took the shop some trial and error to get the truck dialed in, but the team prevailed. I just completed a 2,900 mile trip and the truck was fantastic.John

I purchased the Rock Sliders for my 2006 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab.Right from the start, the customer service was exemplary!The product was easy to install and looks great!These things are very well designed and built.....exceeding my expectations.I highly recommend Hefty Fabworks and will shop there again!Roger in Tucson

I ordered a bumper and had the shop install it for me. Lauren was great to talk with and was a huge help answering questions I had about their product and generally just awesome to work with during the entire process of ordering and installing. They kept me up to date with the status of my order and got me in as quick as they could. After the install Chris talked about some of the features and how to care for the bumper to extend it's life. Great group of people.This bumper is a beast! I'm very happy with the outcome and will be putting this to the test during future travels. I look forward to anymore products being released for the Tacomas!

Chris and Lauren were great to work with. They responded to emails and phone calls quickly and courteously. When I ordered rock sliders for my 2020 T4R KDSS, they said they would be ready in three weeks and they were done right on schedule. I opted to have them installed by their crew and, as far as I'm concerned, that's the way to go. These guys have installed hundreds of sliders so there's no guess work, and they had them on in about 40 minutes. I'll pay $150 to avoid a day in the garage on my back anytime.

What an incredible business Hefty Fabworks is! Got a bumper and a radiator skid for my Nissan Xterra from them. The craftsmanship of the bumper is incredible. I did have some issues getting the bumper centered on the car, but Chris ended up making a custom set of mounting brackets for me, specific to my vehicle. Now the bumper aligns perfect! Honestly, other companies should model their customer service after Hefty. My ultimatum is: if Hefty Fabworks makes armor for your car, don't think twice about buying it! You won't regret it.

First off let me say you guys rock. Way above what I was expecting. Custom fab on my light brackets. Got the right lights I was wanting. They even painted a bracket that I had previously cut to install hood struts. By the way I don't think that they thought I would notice. That's what I call customer service. Thanks Chris and your whole team!!!!!!

Hefty is known as the gold standard for the 4runner off-road community. I recently got and installed their bumper and I was blown away how well it was made and how easy it was to install. All the hardware was premium and provided, instructions were clear on the video, and even their representative contacted me to see if I had any questions. Paying a little extra is worth it and it goes a long way with Hefty. It's not true for all fabricators.

I just installed my Hefty Fabworks rear bumper for my 5th Gen 4Runner and I am beyond impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. I dealt with Lauren throughout the ordering process and her customer service was outstanding. I can't recommend this company enough!

David and everyone else at the Hefty Fabworks team were excellent to work with from start to finish! I purchased some rock sliders for my 4Runner and had them installed at their shop. They were friendly, quick, and efficient with the entire process. They even performed an alignment for me because I was getting some rubbing on my UCA's on bumps/turns - no more rubbing now! I would gladly work with them again on a future mod project and recommend them to anyone in the market!

My rock rails are about 3 years old and completely rusted out. I ve tried emailing Customer Service a few times over the past few years and never had a single response. These were already rusted out after only a couple of months. I don t off road at all so this is just from everyday driving. Super disappointed. Their powder coating was garbage and now so are these rails.

I bought a full set of skid plates, rock sliders and front bumper from Hefty back in 2014 for my 2012 Nissan Xterra. I have wheeled hard with that gear now for over 6 years. While the threaded features in the frame are starting to fail at the attachment points the armor I bought from Hefty continues to hold up. It has paid for itself 100 times over at this point. My wife and I joke every time we slam down on to a skid, slider, or bumper hard "well that just paid for itself!"

had been having problems with my 3rd gen 4runner after going to 2 different shops and getting the run around took it here after my dad had gotten some work done on his rig and they got me squared away and my truck has not felt this good on the road in the better part of a year want to give Eric credit for his communication skills and most importantly the shops integrity they will most definitely be getting more of my hard earned money!!!

Hefty Fab is top quality fabrication work. Chris can work both steel and aluminum and has some of the best designed armor for Nissan and Toyota trucks I've seen. I'm running a front bumper and skids from Hefty on my Xterra, plus some custom work.

I been doing business with Hefty Fabworks for a number of years. Over that time I have purchased bumpers, sliders, and skid plates. Chris and his team have always been outstanding. Not only in the quality of products they produce, but their attention to detail and professionalism through the entire process is second to none. If you haven't checked them out make sure you do soon!
