My 2009 Legacy GT had a 'ceased' spark plug that a 'national mechanic chain' shop was unable to remove. The 'national chain' shop started to talk about the potential need to replace a cylinder head, along with all the other recommendations (head gaskets, timing belt, etc.), possible machine shop work, if they broke the 'ceased' spark plug.Thankfully I used my better judgement to get a second opinion, and thankful to Google reviews I found Jay's ER Subaru Engines shop. Jay was able to get my car in almost immediately and very easily removed the 'ceased' spark plug. I'm very thankful to ER Subaru Engines for easing my anxiety about the whole potentially much more expensive repair situation.Thank you again and I'll be back for any future needs on my Subaru.

Overall very happy with the service I received at ER Subarus. Jay the owner is professional, knows what he's talking about and hooked me up with prices that other shops couldn't match without sacrificing the quality of work done. 5/5 would recommend to anyone who needs work done on their Subaru!

Ben and Jordan were absolutely great. Communication was on point. They did good quality work and never tried to push me on to other stuff. ER Subaru definitely didn't disappoint. I will be back for more work

I cannot praise the Subaru Car Repair Shop enough! From the moment I stepped in, their friendly and knowledgeable staff made me feel at ease. They quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue (P0018 Engine CODE) with my car, and the results were remarkable my car felt like new again! Fair pricing and transparency further cemented my trust in their services. Without a doubt, this repair shop deserves a perfect 5/5 stars for their exceptional expertise and outstanding care for Subaru owners. Veteran friendly as well. Just picked up my 2005 Outback XT after a complete engine rebuild. Everyone there was great to work with and they answered all of my questions so I knew the details of the build. ER is a fantastic shop that will cater to any of your Subaru needs. They got me out of a really tough spot with my car and have been nothing but helpful ever since then! They did an amazing job with my new engine, J really is an expert and knows his Subarus!

The shop is great at what they do! The communication is on point and I never had a hard time getting ahold of anyone! Our original timeline for all the upgrades was busted due to unforeseen events; however it was never an issue as communication was easy. The shop did what they could to work around my schedule! Would DEFIANTLY RECOMMEND this shop to anyone looking for SUBARU REPAIRS/UPGRADES/PARTS.Service: Auto engine tuning

These people are amazing! Hannah was super easy to talk to and Jay knows his stuff. Did a completely new motor, heads, turbo, and stage 3 clutch on my car. Communication was amazing and got the work done in a very timely fashion. I would encourage anyone that is looking for a reputable shop, to go here. You WILL NOT be disappointed. We developed car trouble 1.5 miles from ER SUBARU ENGINES on our way from Albuquerque to Denver. Hannah was extremely kind and helpful and provided excellent customer service. Justin diagnosed the problem and got us on our way. We thought we were going to need a rental car and also got excellent customer service from Dimmples Car Rental. ER SUBARU ENGINES provided exceptional service and did not make us feel like we were an imposition on their time, even though they were clearly busy. I had a very challenging catastrophic engine problem. A huge project. I was getting quotes from other places for 18 to 20k. They did it for 1/3 of the price, half the time and used way better parts. There the best. Highly recommended. There my go to.

This place is great. They got my car running better then it ever has. Had them rebuild and upgrade turbo, aftermarket down pipe, power steering pump, and a custom tune. I will not be bringing my subaru anywhere else. They know what they are doing, and are good at it.

My engine ended up deciding that living wasn t to fun and ended up with some rod knock. So I went to them to put a new engine in one I personally bought and brought to them and they happily worked with me on taking the engine from me. Everyone is super friendly and very experienced Jay was absolutely amazing the lengths he will go to to help a customer is insane they work well and fast and will never screw your over on anything. One of their main things is guaranteeing they give you a car that works and will continue working long after. Highly recommend them

Update 11/22: still solid. Used them again for a #4 cylinder cooling mod on a my 2016 STI. Clean install, no leaks, excellent communication = satisfied customer.UPDATE 12.14.21: Had an IAG AOS Kit for a WRX installed on my Forester. Absolutely beautiful install considering the kit was for a WRX and not a Forester. Hose plumbing was clean, no leaks, and looks almost OEM. I'm very happy.Solid mod shop for whatever goes wrong. After months of trying to finish building up my 2015 FXT myself, I finally gave up and called Jay at ER. Was able to get my car towed over the next day. Jay and the gremlins took her in the haphazard state she was in and finished the work same day. Very happy to have this team in the springs. Fair prices and if you purchased a part elsewhere but don't know how to install it they can install it for you. They swapped out my fuel filter in about an hour. Only been a few times but so far the quality of work is pretty good. Will probably go to them in the future for other repairs and maintenance.

My experience with ER subaru engines was amazing. Jay did everything I asked him to fix and then some. They also did several small fixes free of charge. I was sent pictures of everything along the process. Charges were fair, if not under what most shops would charge, but the work is above par.

I went here in need of lower ball joint replacements and an axle replacement on my 2005 STI. Jay was very nice, professional, and finished the job MUCH quicker than I expected and my STI drives amazing again. Will definitely be going back for future work.

I would like to clear up the review made by Seneca. Jay has been working with me to help get my car back. He was not going to warranty work because the motor failed on my part. But Jay was offering to cut down on cost and labor to help me. He had given me the motor and work for a steal and was still trying to help me. They are very professional and did everything they correct. Will continue to go back to them.

I had lots of trouble with my 2006 wrx it had a bad turbo, bad coils, and plugs and many more problems. I got in touch with er Subaru engines and they walked me through as many problems they could without being in person. A year later I decided it was time to build another Subaru this one being a blobeye (2005). I got in touch with er Subaru engines once again and had a built engine made for me to fit all my needs. I wanted lots of extras on this build and they were nothing but helpful and supportive. I ve had the 2006 for 1 1/2 years on one of his engine builds and it will not quit, never lets me down. This company gives out the best Customer support out there. There isn t another place I would rather have work on my Subaru if I can t do the work myself. 10/5 stars for me easily the most professional and helpful Subaru mechanic around. Big thanks to Jay Buchanan of ER SUBARU ENGINES, he took care of my 2005 Outback XT. My turbo went out and not only did he just replace he went through and fix the things that were bad that caused the turbo to go out. Through out the whole repair if he found something wrong he took pictures and sent them to me letting me know what was going on explaining everything in detail giving the option of fixing it or not, unlike most shops that will just do it without asking and you wonder why your bill so high. Jay is also a very nice guy and something like genius when it come to subarus so I give him 5 stars. I highly recommend if you are having SUBARU problems go see Jay at ER SUBARU ENGINES.

Had recently bought a MAF sensor from auto zone and it died 4 months later. Took my car here and they replaced it with a sensor that should last indefinitely like they're supposed to.
