It's difficult for me to over-state how satisfying my two experiences at Courtesy Automotive Service Center have been. They're friendly and knowledgeable, and their estimates are fair and accurate. They even replaced my missing left side mirror for free! I had already checked how much it would cost to replace it at the dealership and another shop, and both gave me estimates of over $700. It was like Christmas had come early! I was very happy and extremely impressed with them. The only downside is that their expertise has apparently made them very popular, and my most recent (non-emergency) appointment needed to be scheduled a whole month in advance. So if you're going to need some work done on your vehicle, give them a call. If they can get you in early enough for your needs, definitely book the appointment!

In May of 2023, I purchased a 2009 Yukon XL Denali from a dealer in Lafayette. The truck was in excellent cosmetic condition, and we had the vehicle inspected at a shop in Boulder before we bought it. That shop gave the truck a clean bill of health, but after a few days of ownership we realized there were many issues with the vehicle that were not pointed out in the presale inspection. I took the truck to several other mechanics in the Denver area to get second opinions, who all gave me the bad news that not only was I looking at many thousands of dollars in repairs, but I d either need my engine rebuilt or replaced. We ended up putting a new engine in the vehicle and had Courtesy Automotive do the installation work.Thomas the service manager was very honest, and the quoted price for the extensive list of repairs the vehicle needed was very reasonable. If we are ever in a situation where one of our cars needs substantial repair work, we would not hesitate to go back. It can be difficult to find qualified automotive technicians and mechanics that don t just try to sell you unnecessary parts and fixes these days, especially at a competitive price, but we are so glad we got to work with Courtesy Automotive. If you re looking for a shop that does honest and quality work on vehicles, give them a call for sure!

I am very pleased with my experience here. I spent hours calling almost every other repair shop in the springs area before finding this repair shop. I had been to two other shops for estimates to replace the front shocks in my car. Both wanted to charge me over $2,000.00 for the replacements. When I took my car to Thomas, he was very insightful, professional, courteous and worked quickly. He replaced the shocks, the sway bars and replaced my gas cap for much less than the other repair companies wanted to charge me. I will definitely be making them my regular mechanics.

Very thankful to meet these guys! My truck broke down 2 hours from home while on a work trip for a RV show and literally broke down on the street in front of their shop by chance. I called them and they immediately came help me with like 4 guys and got my truck from out of the street into their shop. They fixed my truck quick for a fair price and saved me a ton of stress and a tow truck! Very grateful to have met them and would highly recommend!

I have learned that the store that was once Courtesy Automotive is now owned by an entirely different set of people , who possess integrity. Finally! Hopefully, this page as courtesy automotive will be deleted as a business that no longer exists as it is a new business . The new owners are invested in doing everything they can to right the wrongs that the last owner did to all its customers. The front desk was extremely informative and very helpful and even validating. We are going to go back and give the New owners , the chance that they should have been given since they were unaware of the extremely unethical practices (mess) that they unknowingly walked into. There is something to be said about a customer service that would tries to right the wrong, hat wasn't even their wrong to begin with. It is really refreshing to hear that the new owners are going to make this shop the highly reputuble shop it was prior to the last owners. Yay!!

When the service engine light comes on, you re 20 hours from home, with a dog, 2 kiddos, and grandparents in tow Thomas, Nick, and everyone at Courtesy worked hard to get us fixed, running, and reliable again quickly! Life-savers. Thank you! And as a woman walking in the door alone, I was treated fairly and with respect and that means a lot.

* Update. *FRAUD ALERT*DO NOT USE THIS SHOPI originally gave them 5 stars, however after 2 months of them lying to me about repairs they actually did not make... I demanded all my money back and to absolutely no convenience my truck was stolen off their lot 2 days later. When it was recovered everything they installed was stripped out along with everything else of value. It was also wrecked from every side. The destruction seemed personal, intentional. We believed it be an inside job. Gross.Loss: approx $11,000, two months without my vehicle and countless time wasted and dealing with their lies.*they were non-compliant with the police investigation and refused to release the video surveillance*they did provide a loaner for a couple weeks*they did refund my money after we got the police involved --------------------------------------------------------------Hands down am fully impressed with this company. Thank you to Ben and his team for their exemplary work taking care of me during my time of need. Referring these guys out to everyone who reads this and my folks and friends in the Springs. They fixed my computer, brakes, window, door locks, ball joints, did some warranty work and saved me money when they could have charged extra. I am super happy

Warning! No response from mechanical issues from poor quality and work not completed. Charged for work not completed!Charged $1,200 for a rear deferential rebuild, not completed, they removed the rear inspection cover but did nothing. Charged $125 for an engine service that was never completed.Kept my truck for over 3 months after being promised back in 2-3 weeks. $9,600 job. Paid $4,000 cash upfront and $5,600 when picked up. Brakes replaced but had very soft pedal, could seem to get them bled out properly. Matt said, that he needed to call a specialist in to take a look at it (thought I was taking my truck to specialist?) and were still not safe.Front end rebuild, all control arm bolts on right side left loose, front end alignment was SO far off due to this. Berry dangerous!!!!4 wheel drive didn t work when I got it back ..I just got it back from another shop who fixed and documented everything.Called and texted owner Scott Zarling multiple times to schedule a resolve with NO response. I believe in giving businesses benefit and working to resolve any issues but these people obviously don t care. They Constantly have (computer) phone issues, I travel for work and had to send my daughter down to see if Courtesy Auto was even open any longer. Never a response or call back, ever!Hunter (nice young man) answered all my calls, said that he would email and text Scott Zarling and ask him to call me back. But he couldn t guaranty that he would. I asked for his number to schedule time and fix the issues, Hunter said, he wasn t allowed to give out the owners number. The Zarlings are obviously a non-engaged owners.Matt the service writer, who told me that he was part owner .what a joke, not true!I have since had my truck fixed right and all work documented by a reputable Auto repair shop.If I could give negative stars, I certainly would.Stay away, run from this business!Hope this helps others,FerlinServices: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto brake repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

After rescheduling several times I still received fast friendly service from Mike and the guys. I showed up more than a half hour early and they got me right in . It was my first visit for an oil change and it was fast! My appointment was at 2 but I got home at 2:26. I chatted with Mike from the East Coast and sipped on green tea. They were honest and fair and didn't push any extra work on me even though I need it. I really appreciate their professional friendly service. I got a great deal on Groupon and I will definitely go back for my more intense repairs that are necessary.

My son and I have been taking our cars there since our first experience with them in March of 2016. They are trustworthy, thoughtful, and know what they are doing. As someone with absolutely no knowledge of cars, I am always reluctant to take my car in, but they have solved that trust issue for me. As long as they remain in Colorado Springs, they have a customer for life!! Thanks for all you do Mike and the team and keep up the good work! It's a pleasure doing business with you.

I am so happy with my experience at Courtesy Automotive! Dale and the team are very kind and answered all of my questions without hesitation. They got the work done quickly and worked hard to get the price as low as they could. They made such a great impression, that husband will be using them for his mechanical need as well! Thank you Courtesy Automotive! I will definitely be returning in the future and will recommend them to everyone!!

I needed to get my shocks replaced. Sent an email request later in the evening (after 7). Within 30 minutes had an email acknowledging my request and the next morning immediately got a call back. Brought my truck in the next day. Within two hours my shocks were installed. Great customer service, good environment and overall great place. Thank you for providing such a quick and painless service. Will definitely come here for all of my repairs.

We have had a truck and car in for wheel alignments, both jobs weren't really up to my expectations. I may try a business that only do wheel alignments, to see if they can get it right. Other then that, all the other services they have provided has been great! They balanced our drive shaft great and swapped out a differential for us at decent price with no problems. I also had some motor and transmission mounts swapped out on my buick. This is a great mom and pops shop that you can trust, I just wish they gave better wheel alignments.Service: Wheel alignment

I have been taking my 1999 Jeep Wrangler to Courtesy Automotive for over 4 years. The mechanic I had been going to since 1985 had retired and I was looking for a new, reliable mechanic. A couple of friends recommended Courtesy Automotive so, I gave them a try and I've been going ever since. I am so happy with their dependable, friendly service. They are very thorough, knowledgable and the shop has a family feel...very trustworthy. If you're looking for a reliable service center...give Courtesy Automotive a try.

The entire experience was top-shelf! I initially inquired about a series of repairs I had been told I needed by a couple of different places. I was promptly replied to with an estimate. I scheduled an appointment and was in within a day. I was greeted by Mike. He has a pleasant demeanor and was very clear on everything they will look at and then advise you of what is found. In the end, not only were the repairs done splendidly (no repeat issues or new ones!) but I was told that one repair a shop tried to sell me was NOT needed for at least another 15,000 miles! It could have been an easy $500 repair, but the honesty of Courtesy Automotive has secured my loyalty. I would HIGHLY recommend Courtesy to anyone I meet. Even if I didn't like them.

I've had my truck serviced by Courtesy for many years now and I've been very pleased with every type of service from oil changes, routine maintenance, and even tires. In fact, I got a great deal on a new set of tires a few months ago and just had a problem recently with one tire showing low pressure so I took it in expecting it would take the rest of the day but they had it repaired and I was on my way in under an hour!! Thanks to Mike for getting me in and out on such short notice!

Courtesy Automotive did an awesome job on my car! I would definitely recommend them and use them again! Courtesy Automotive put a high performance clutch and downpipes on my BMW 335i that I'm beginning to build up. I had a hard time finding a shop willing to do the work, but Courtesy was willing and did a great job! Big thumbs up to Courtesy for stepping up where other shops wouldn't!Services: Transmission, Exhaust

I recently went to have my battery tested and ended up getting a new one. It went very smoothly, the price was extremely competitive and the work took less time than expected. Because of my experience, I sent my mother in and she was treated like gold. I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Courtesy Automotive Service Center.Services: Electrical, BatteryServices: Electrical, Battery

I have used Courtesy several times for 2 different vehicle I own. The first vehicle was BMW that needed normal scheduled repairs. The second vehicle was for an AUDI Q5 that had a check engine light on. The engine light turned out to be for an intake air temp sensor. They trouble shot the issue and discovered the issue was that some wildlife had crawled up into the engine and chewed on a wire. Courtesy Automotive fixed the issue quickly and did not replace any parts that was not needed.Their prices are very fair and so far they seem very competent and I will definitely be using them again.Services: Electrical repair, Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

I'm usually quick to post "not so good" reviews when a business sucks scissors, but today, I am overjoyed to extol the virtues of, of all places, an auto repair shop. Our family had been going to a repair shop for years and years since I was a wee little one. When the owner died, his son took over the family business. Indeed, for the first few years hubby and I were married, any time there was a vehicle problem, we knew we could take our cars there & get them fixed promptly, correctly and without being gouged. With all of hubby s myriad health problems, the possibility of him doing the guy work on our vehicles went from slim to none (and slim went to lunch). So it was a relief to know that at least someone was there who could take care of any car problems we had. Well, the son died a few years back. Since then, we ve been pretty much at the mercy of any mechanic we could find.Recently, the A/C in the truck went kaput. I am not a big fan of 2/55 air conditioning (two windows down and drive 55 to cool off). We stopped in to two separate places and I almost needed Valium after the quotes we got. On a whim, I called Courtesy Automotive Service Center and explained what was going on. Dale asked if either of the two places had checked two relatively common problems before quoting me and I told him they had not. He made an appointment for me right away. This morning, I showed up at their center. The first thing I noticed is that all of the people in their very full waiting room were all repeat customers - and the owner and manager, Mike, knew all of these people by name. One lady even brought in cupcakes and pound cake for them. Within a very short time, they had diagnosed the problem and it WAS one of the inexpensive options that the other two shops had conveniently forgotten to mention. While I was there, they also checked the brakes for me (at no charge). I thought it was because they were squeaking as they pulled the truck in, but they informed me that that was part of what they do as a courtesy for their clients. I had been told that I needed new brakes all around by a third shop several weeks earlier, by the way. They said that the rear brakes needed adjusting and cleaning - but other than that the brake system was good.To make a long story somewhat shorter - for less than ONE-FIFTH of the prices quoted to me by the gouge-happy shops, I now have kick-butt air conditioning, non squeaky brakes and a giant smile on my face. Plus, I have now found my new forever trusted mechanics.I cannot say enough good things about Courtesy Automotive. Consider this the Judi seal of approval along with my heartfelt thanks.Dale, Mike & Toby - you guys rock my socks off.

My husband, 2 kids, and I were on vacation in Colorado from Ohio when we broke down in Colorado Springs on our way to Cripple Creek. Luckily it was right across the street from this repair shop. I walked over (every bay was full and so was the parking lot, I did not think they would be able to help us today, and oh yeah, did I mention this was a Friday around 2pm, see store hours) and explained that we were from out of town and stranded. Dale (the owner) immediately sent one of his guys over to take a look at our car and he reassured us they would have us back on the road that day. His technician was very knowledgeable, figured out the issue in just a couple minutes in the 7/11 parking lot, and talked us through everything under the hood. He literally ran back across the street to let Dale know what the issue was and came back to help us get the car over. Dale got quotes together and parts ordered before we even got back over to the shop. I couldn't believe it, we were back on the road by 5:30!! These guys are amazing and have the best service of not just any auto repair shop, but of any business I have ever encountered. They are honest and will get the job done right! We drove home 1200+ miles the next day and had no problems! I wish I lived there so I could give them my repeat business as a thanks. Thank you Dale and to your guys for getting my family home safe with the least amount of hassles possible.

We took my Acura in and we were happy they found the issue. However, they called my husband and said it would cost $330 so we approved the fix. Then, we went in to pick it up and they charged us $478. We told them whoever called us had said it was $330 and they said that wasn't right. They also stated someone would call us and its been 2 weeks with no call. Very disappointed in this place as they seemed to have good reviews. I would recommend going somewhere else before they charge thousands over what they say on the phone. Or make sure you get a written and signed statement on what they say it will cost to fix your car.
