Oh man, where to start. So on Sunday my wife's tire sprung a gentle leak. I noticed a razor blade (or small metal thing) in the tread...I would normally plug it and be done with it, but I'd had knee surgery the day before and couldn't physically do it. We took it in, and 6 hours later they had it plugged for $14.Today she drove to work, and on her way home got a low PSI warning. She dropped it off and about a half hour later they called and said there was a razor blade (or small metal thing) in it, and it's too close to the plug they put in, so they couldn't plug this one. They suggested we buy a new tire. I asked if they saw it yesterday and she said "it probably wasn't there yesterday." (it was there yesterday...I saw it).I asked them to put the spare on, and when I got home what I found was their plug, which was 8 inches away from the razor blade that I saw Sunday but "probably wasn't there yesterday." Since the tire was off - I pulled the little metal thing out, plugged it, aired it up, and 20 minutes after I got it home the job was done.Granted; it was $14...which you can't even get a good sandwich for anymore...and I can confirm they plugged 'something,' but still. A little attention to detail goes a long way here guys. If they sprayed where they plugged, they should have also seen the little metal thing. It was pretty obvious. It looked exactly like "a little metal thing in a tire."

My first time using Costco Tire Center, but so far I am finding it to be just as good as my overall Costco experience: great customer service, fair prices and high quality. I paid half the cost for the same rated tires as my previous tire center. Costco does have air stations (nitrogen) which I didn't know of until now. I'm expecting that my experience will continue to be superb but will update if anything is significantly different. I highly recommend them and hope you have at least a similar experience.

I bought 4 brand new Bridgestone tires from these guys and I drove up to a cabin in the mountains where two of them went flat. they refused to replace them under warranty because I took the tires off pavement and told me I needed 4 new tires. Yesterday I took my other car which my father bought the tires at Costco for me to just simply get the tires rotated. they would not do it because they said the tires aren't on my membership even though I had the receipt. Costco is great in every aspect except the tire department. it's been a nightmare dealing with these people take your car somewhere else.

I regret buying tires (Michelin) here. The warranty period for the tires is 30000 miles, but it hasn't even been 20000 miles yet, and all of the front tires are completely worn out. I asked for warranty repairs from them, but it was rejected because it was the user's responsibility because the tires were not rotated within the specified mileage. Nowhere on their invoice did they explain when the rotation would be done, and there was no explanation at the time of the tire change. I don't know what the problem is, but the rear tires still look good, but the front tires are completely worn out and need to be scrapped. Even if I hadn't rotated the tires, there would be a technical problem with this much wear.

If I could give them less, I would. The employees are not very friendly or knowledgeable. They have very little care for the customer & show zero common courtesy. We've used them several times in the past and although the customer service has never been great, it has also never been as bad as it was today. We brought in a tire for repair. The guy asked if we were going to wait for it, to which we replied, " yes. We can do a little shopping." He said ok & asked for a cell phone number so he could let us know when it was ready. He never said how long it would take & we assumed it would be about an hour, just as it's been every other time. After an hour, we checked back & were told they were still working on it. After another 30 minutes we asked again. This time, the guy rudely replied, "we have to do other cars first." After another 30 minutes we found a different guy and asked him how much longer. He said it hadn't even been started yet. So now, I've sat here with my 80 year old mother in a hot & crowded store & wasted more than 2 hours and have nothing to show for it. Disgusted, we left.So heres the main issue. If anyone, at any point, had said that it would take several hours to patch a tire, we would have taken a second vehicle, left the one in need of repair there & gone about our day until it was ready. I understand that, as the customer, I should have asked about a time line. The reason I didn't was because in the past, it's never been an issue. I assumed it would be the same this time. Secondly, the employee asked us if we were going to wait & so, I made the assumption that it wouldn't be more than an hour (a typical amount of time to shop). In the sense of fairness, the second employee we spoke to, after 2 hours, was nice when he realized how upset I was. He did try to smooth things over but by this point, I was so angry, it didn't matter. Also of note, while we were waiting we say 2 other customers get upset over very similar issues. One lady was told it would be an hour & she said she'd been waiting 2 & 1/2 hours already.Costco Tire Center, if you do not improve your customer service skills, it will eventually catch up to you. Obviously you have plenty of business at the moment but keep treating your customers like this and one day you'll be wondering where all your customers went.

Beyond livid. Got a flat on my "new" tires that were installed just a few months ago. Brought them in to the same location I bought them at (Barnes and Powers) and I'm being told they cannot be repaired because there is a roadside plug in them - the tire has never been serviced or removed before the flat today and ONLY serviced by this location. The technician repeatedlyThe technician repeatedly would only state that they only sell new tires and it wasn't them. Instead of looking for ANY possible solution, he continually shifted the blame and would only repeat 3 scripted sentences. NEVER use this location - if any Costco. I have never had such a bad customer service experience in my life.

They were very helpful! I came to them because I got two flat tires and the tires were purchased from a different Costco (in another state) and had a warranty that I hoped I could use. Because the warranty was under my mom's name and really old, I did not expect it to be covered but took my car there because I trust Costco to have quality products and service. Since I didn't have an appointment I had to do a walk-in and wait. In the end I was right that the warranty had expired but they did fix one of the flats and explained that the other had a type of damage that couldn't be repaired, they pulled up a quote for new tires but didn't push me to buy them, and they didn't charge me for the work they did.

Good to great prices and good service. A word of caution: their wait times could be longer than expected. Make this a combined tire shop/warehouse trip for best results.

Had a bad tpms sensor...I was able to make an appointment online, and when I showed up early, they were able to get me taken care of...scanned and found the bad sensor and had me on my way. Saved a bunch of money from other tire shops that had quoted me a repair! Customer service top notch!

They determined they weren t qualified to change my tires, so they attempted to put my car back together and issue me a gift card for a refund. When I finally got back into my car (they had locked the keys in), they put the spare tire on instead, separated the old tire from the rim, and put both components in my back seat. There was also no refund. The manager accused my fianc of stealing the gift card, when it turns out they had never even issued one. I finally got my money back, but now I don t have a usable spare. I am actually in a worse place than where I started from.UPDATE:Took my tires to Discount Tire and had all 4 replaced within the hour. None of the issues that prevented the Costco technicians from finishing the work were found. Highly recommended to spend the extra 50 bucks and have the work done by a trained professional.

The service at this location is garbage. I waited 2 hours on a tire change before going back up to the counter to ask what was taking so long. My car had been ready for an hour, but no one called to let me know.

We made an appointment, drove all the way to Costco and dropped off our vehicle. We were then called to let us know that the Costco policy had changed so they were unable to install new tires that were not purchased at Costco. I m fine with the policy but that needs to be stated on your website so we don t waste all of that time!

My roommate got a flat on his way home from work and after calling 8 other places that were all closed, Costco was open and able to patch the tire that night! Did a little shopping and grabbed a pizza while waiting. True it was $11 since the tires weren't bought there, but it'd have been free if they were my tires which were bought there. Good deals from a good company.

They tried to convince me I needed new tires but 2 other shops said they were fine and were at mid life.

I bought four tires from the tire service center at store #1014 on November 29th, 2015. I was told by the gentleman at the front desk that I would receive a call in five to seven business days, when the tires arrived from the warehouse. On the seventh day, I called the tire center to check on my invoice and the gentleman told me that the tires' shipment was delayed due to the winter season and how close it was to the holidays. He apologized to me for the inconvenience and told me that they would call as soon as they received them. On December 14th, 2015 I was contacted by the tire service center to schedule an appointment to install my tires that had just arrived. Due to the holidays I was not able to make it in until five days later. On that day I arrived as a walk in, during what seemed to be the busiest time of the day. The employee at the tire center counter seemed to be expecting me and again apologized and explained how the shipment was delayed due to the time of year. I then immediately booked an appointment, dropped off my keys, and was on my way. Twenty minutes had elapsed before I received a call on my cell phone informing me that my vehicle was ready for pick-up. A few hours later I returned to retrieve my vehicle. After the worker at the tire desk explained all that they had done and made a few helpful suggestions concerning my wheels, the warehouse manager BRANDON gave me his sincerest apologies for the inconvenience he had caused me as a valued customer and offered me a generous compensation. It was very inconvenient to me that it took so long for the delivery from the warehouse, however the way in which Brandon handled the situation in such a professional and sincere manner will keep me coming back to the Costco Tire Center every time. I would rate their customer service an A+. And thank you so much, Brandon. You really know how to run a tire service center!

So I thought I'd give Costco Tire Center a try. I ordered tires from Gary on 26 October, followed up on 08 November and I'm told they haven't been ordered yet! Talk about dropping the ball. Simple apology but they didn't offer to expedite the order, a free hot dog or anything. Leadership needs to step it up at this tire center. I hear the one on N. Nevada is much better but now I'm hesitant to even try.

I have purchased several sets of tires from Costco over the years...the last couple of experiences with them have been awful - today the help was so rude (once you can navigate through the phone tree and get someone to answer) that I decided to call Discount Tires -- they answered on the first ring and were extremely helpful! Am I paying a little more for tires...maybe maybe not -- I don't care - the tire center at Costco on Barnes is so different from the rest of my Costco experience - I hope management reads this and they overhaul how they run the place -- or not - I probably will never buy tires from there again.

Although I typically love Costco and the service on my vehicle was good, I would not reccomend this place. The wait to be waited on is long and unnecessary. I don't blame the people who work there. I blame Costco for understaffing the front desk. People who were there simply to buy a battery or to check in, were forced to wait far too long. For a place that prides itself on quickly moving people in and out at the cash register, Costco seems to not do that at the Tire Center.

Tl;dr: I called to verify tires were in stock. My wife went there during her lunch and was turned away because they were not in stock. I called again, they were in stock but for display, but they'll use them. Wife returns after work, wrong speed rating for tire, turned away again. Most difficult tire buying experience ever. I'm away on business, and my wife noticed a buldge on the sidewall of our tire. I call Costco and see if they have the tires for my truck in stock. The gentleman says "yes, we have 12." Great, I tell them I'll send my wife tomorrow during her lunch break since that's the only time that would work. I explained the sidewall, and how I don't want it to burst, so it needs to get done asap. My wife goes to Costco during her lunch as planned, and they tell her that tire size is not common, and they don't stock it. So she and her co-worker (who was going to drive her back to work) leave. When she told me, I was annoyed, and called to figure out what was wrong. They said they had 12 tires in stock again, but when I tell them my wife was turned away, the woman says "oh, those were all for display, let me talk to my manager and I'll call you back." I waited about 3 hours, and didn't hear back, so I called again. The woman answers and says "oh, let me talk to my manager" and leaves for a moment. When she returns, she says they'll use two of the tires and do it no problem. I let my wife know that it's all straightened out, and go after work. She cancels her plans, and goes after work, and again they tell her "we don't have that tire in stock" so she hands the phone over and I reexplain the situation. The manager, Richard, eventually figured it out, and went to check the the tire to ensure the rim isn't bent per my request. He says it's not bent, but they can't use the tires because they're the wrong speed rating, and I must not have told them what vehicle it was for. He said it'd be a few days before they got tires in. I just laughed and told him no.

David Gallion and the whole crew were very accommodating. We just went for a pressure adjustment and ended up needing a whole new valve stem. They went the extra mile and really saved us some time and money. I had never tried the tire service but I must say, I am now sold!

Left our truck to get new tires and told them to keep the keys inside when down. Couldn t put new tires on so we asked for a refund. Told they could only give us a Costco gift card and the keys were locked inside the car. We were then told to call a lock Smith by Robert who s the manager who had a huge attitude problem. So at this point our tires aren t changed, our keys are locked in the truck, and we have a gift card to Costco cause they can t refund us for our purchase. Are family will not be going back here and I would not recommend getting tires from Costco!!!!!!

Warning! Costco warranty is not worth the paper it's printed on. After just 25K miles our Micheline tires with a 60K warranty wore down to 5/32", which is 1/32" below the Colorado legal tread minimum. Costco could only apply the warranty to one tire, which was worn down to 2/32". After a 20 minute argument with the employee and his manager, they agreed to partially apply the warranty at 25% on the other 3 tires.

I had a 6:30pm appointment for a tire change and while waiting I walked around and did some shopping. Around 7:50pm I asked them if they were finished with the car and they said that they were JUST STARTING. I was at Costco until 9:10pm and the person who was helping us was rude and very passive aggressive. Terrible customer service. I do not recommend this.

Poor Service! I called twice to check if they had the battery I needed in stock before going and no one answered the phone. I arrived and found the battery which I was looking for and took it to the cashier. Thirty minutes later I still had not been able to checkout! There was a short line. They had five employees but no customers were getting prompt service. Then a new customer arrived and was served because he had an appointment. All I needed was someone to take my payment and they failed. I left without a battery. I will never go back. I will drive across town or go to Walmart.

Went to go get a slow leak repair done on a trailer tire. First off they said they would not do it on the trailer and I had to bring the tire and rim in. Then when I got there they said the tire was too old for the to do a simple 5 min plug....Went to Pep Boys up the road and they were not only happy to do it, but did it for free!!
