My go-to spot for if I don't want to do my own work. They have very reasonable prices and do great work. Steve is really helpful, especially on my last visit. I'd recommend this particular location for any services as small as tire rotations or a full brake service.

Ella and Steve got me in and out pretty quickly! Steve was able to inform me about some shoddy work done by Grease monkey that was causing extra wear and tear on my rotors, so I m very happy with the care my car received and the replacements for my braking equipment. This is now going to be my go to shop for my braking needs! Thanks again!

Brakes plus did a great job on my vehicle. They checked my car, toped off my fluids and I asked if they would take a car part that had been sitting in my back seat for quite sometime. ( I wanted to get rid of it) They did the car check and toped of my fluids free of charge. I was very satisfied. Steve is who I talked with. He was very helpful and explained things very well!Thanks to the guys up at brakes plus!

Had a great experience with this location. The technicians working on my vehicle were very throughout and the service advisor Ella Parmer was amazing to deal with. She got me in for a service within an hour of leaving work to make sure I could drive home safely in poor weather conditions. Very sweet and helpful!

I love this place! Vanessa, and Steve are awesome. Cody did a great job on my truck. I recommend this place 100%. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else. Being a woman, I tend to get mechanics that take advantage of me. But not here! Save your money and get to this location ASAP! Thank you all at brakes plus on pikes peak Ave. Y'all are awesome!

Can t say enough about this place. The store manager Steve came to talk to me after I had to decline work being done after realizing I d be left with almost nothing for the week. He made sure that I was able to afford the work I needed and to keep my kiddos safe. Would highly recommend this location. Thank you again!

Talk about women empowerment. Today, I visited Break Plus on Pikes Peak ave and was welcomed by Ella who was kind and so helpful. She helped me changed the headlight bulb to my car, took the time to explain how to do it with a smile on her face. We need more like Ella in this world.

I can't say enough great thing about this place! I have been putting off the very expensive task of getting new rotors, but finally pulled the plug today. I'd never been here, and called to see when they could take a look, they said come on in. Ella was absolutely incredible, fun, and helpful! No stressful up selling, or offering things I didn't need. They got it done within a couple hours, and now my girl is driving like a champ again! I will 100% be back here when I need services. Thanks Ella

I called last minute to Brakes Plus and spoke with Nick who was eager to get me in as soon as possible. I was greeted with kindness and treated with respect. After a quick inspection, Vanessa the mechanic talked me through and let me look at the problem at hand. Vanessa went above and beyond to not only solve and repair the problem, but to understand me as a customer and a person. I cannot say enough how thankful and grateful I was for the amazing customer service. I often feel anxious to go to mechanic shops, but I felt right at home here. I recommend this place to everyone for all of their services! Thank you.

Awesome place. The staff was great. They gave me a Lyft to get me home while my daughter in law 's car was being maintenance for brakes. They also offered to bring me back to come get my daughter in law's car when it was ready. Vanessa is great in explaining everything. I will definitely be back in working with them for any future issues.

"I recently visited Brakes Plus for a free oil change redemption, and I must say I was very pleased with the service I received. Ella was awesome and displayed professionalism throughout my visit. She worked with my tardiness to my appointment with ease and no inconvenience to the other customers present, I would highly recommend this place for their excellent service .

This location is AWESOME! New manager Steve really seems to want to clean the place up. Welcoming atmosphere and quality work. Small issue during my repair but Steve stepped up and was sure to make it right, not a lot of shops out there to be so honest!! Well done Steve and Company! 5 stars all day. Vanessa and the crew did me good. Honest, and good work. Got me in and out fast with informing me of the condition of the car without trying to up sell things they were not a big issue. It's hard to find good places to go for good service and I'm glad that I have a shop close by that does good work.

Nick and Steve helped me out BIG TIME! I was down on my luck with only $300 in my bank account. The snow was rolling in and I was delivering pizzas in the hilliest part of town using only my parking brake. Having already drifted through enough intersections to tempt the hand of fate, I called Brakes Plus.When Nick answered the phone I had almost no hope left. After researching my potential cost online to fully service the brakes I thought I'd just have to ensure my epitaph was "Jeffrey Reich: Couldn't Catch A Brake." After a brief conversation and Nick's multiple attempts to lower the price I had to tell him I still couldn't afford the fix, despite his EXTREMELY GENEROUS discounts. With a final dirge-worthy warning to keep my two-ton death trap of the road, we ended our exchange and it seemed my hopes for safely being able to do anything in my loyal 2013 Civic were dashed.Just as I was stowing my loafers, I received a call from a familiar number. I figured it could have been that the cops had been called to attend to my potential crime scene parked behind my duplex and this would be a simple courtesy call to see what size silver bracelets I wore. Instead, I was confused to hear a new character add himself to my seemingly hopeless saga. My smartphones speakers emitted the name "Steve" and the man claimed to be the general manager of Brakes Plus on Pikes Peak. Not only did he give me his name and title, he gave me the deal of a lifetime.Within a few hours and just before closing time, my brakes were fully serviced and better functioning than ever for not a penny over $300. I was shocked and awed, kindness like this doesn't come around every day and I had learned that especially well from every hickory stick or switch fetched. Yet there I was, a new lease on life from a simple act of generosity with only a meager bill and a request in exchange: "Come back soon!"So thank you Nick and Steve. I've now got a better set of brakes, a better job, and a better outlook on life. As I type this, I'll be heading in to get my transmission fluid done. As long as Brakes Plus on Pikes Peak is in business with Steve at the wheel and Nick as his skipper, ne'er shall another mechanics hands enter my front hood. Brand loyalty be damned, I'm a Nick and Steve guy for life.

My AC wasn t blowing cold air and most shops are booking 2-3 weeks out. I was able to get a same day appointment I was also hesitant at first of having BrakesPlus service my AC or changing any AC parts but discovered they are far better than the other automotive shops I have used in the past. They found the issue and kept me informed all along. They also gave me a very competitive and accurate quote. They over-nighted the part and had my AC up and running in under 18 hours! It was a pleasure having Steve, Ella and Nick take care of me and my Highlander. If I m in need other vehicle maintenance or servicing, the power team at the Nob Hill BrakesPlus will be my first choice.

Had an excellent experience getting some lug nuts fixed. The technicians were helpful and proactively pointed out a problem with my lower control arms. They invited me to see for myself, so I didn t just have to take their word for it. They are in need of replacement due to erosion from the salt on the roads here. Really thankful they caught it before it became an emergency issue while driving. I appreciated their integrity and respectfulness in showing me the problem. It s not as easy as it ought to be to find a shop that respects female customers plenty of opportunistic shady personalities in the field. This shop is one of the good ones!

I took my Toyota Hghlander to them yesterday for an estimate on my front brakes and a caliper repair. Not only did they beat Toyota and Pep Boys prices they gave us AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! Steve and Ella's answered all our questions and was able to fix my brakes, brake light and caliper all within an hour and a half. Thank you for giving us an honest and fair price! You guys rock! Thank you for everything!

First time customer with Brakes Plus. I was taken care of by a gentleman named Nic, at the Pikes Peak and Academy store. He was not only kind and attentive, he took the time to help me understand more about the process of what services they could offer.After the free inspection and they knew what kind of work my car would need, he was just as informative about what was needed. He didn't try to force me into agreeing to work I couldn't afford at the time and there was no fear-mongering to make me feel pressured into signing for any kind of credit card, unlike another place I had a brake estimate at.My final price was more than agreeable, even for the premium package that I opted for, and I will absolutely be going back to Nic for any brake care.

They were so fast and helpful! They serviced my vehicle by giving it an alignment and noticed a loosened bolt! They did not charge me to tighten it up! I was surprised most places would've wanted to charge for a simple fix, but they helped me out with that, no charge for the loosened bolt, and went above and beyond. Thank you!

This is my go-to all service shop. Nick helped me with my service today and Steve cashed me out. Every time I come here they shoot it to me straight. They always tell me what my car is in need of and why. After my oil change today they gave me a list of recommended services to consider based on my car s age, mileage, and history.
