There's a reason that Baxter's Automotive receives many, many 5 star reviews: they so deserve it! I have been going to them since 2020. They currently take care of my Subaru Outback and Mini-Cooper. Friendly. Thorough. Honest. Knowledgeable. What more could anyone ask for in getting their car serviced? I actually feel more comfortable driving, knowing my cars are so well taken care of. And let's not forget that they are also dog friendly and ask about my lab rescue...so personal. Thank you Baxters...my joy to discover you.

I recently used Baxter automotive for a check engine light on my mini cooper. Ed and Patricia were AMAZING! I have never had such great conversations while waiting on my car. They were able to get me in asap and the wait was quick. Since we just moved here, they gave me tips on mountain living car care in the mountains. I appreciate them so much. They are by far going to be my go to mechanics going forward. Highly recommend.

Ed and Patricia have been a godsend to me. They re cool and so very nice. I ve been going to Baxter s Automotive for four years. I didn t have confidence in my car which is why I was searching for a new mechanic. Thank goodness Ed found what was wrong with my Nissan Rogue and ever since he fixed it, I love my car again. I can drive with confidence and no worries. Thank you.

Patricia and Ed were absolutely amazing! They were recommended to me through a friend and it was the most smooth experience I could have asked for. They were extremely kind and honest. I just bought a new car and wanted to get a full inspection while I am still under warranty. They gave me all of the information I needed and answered all of the questions I had. Would recommend them as the people you can trust with your car. We've been coming here for a few years now and have always had a pleasant experience with Ed and Patricia. There is never an attempt to upsell or a sales pitch for additional work you may not need nor is there pressure to get something done. Very thankful we have found Baxter's Automotive as our go to repair shop!

My wife and I have been going to Baxters (Ed and Patricia) for 7 years now. They are honest and kind and do great work!! We trust them with our cars and they have become like family. We cannot say enough kind words about them. We will continue to go to Baxters with every car we own and are glad to have been referred to them. Do yourself a favor and go see them if you need a great mechanic.

If Baxters Auto works on your type of vehicle, consider yourself lucky!! Aside from Ed and Patricia being kind, they are honest and hardworking as well! I've made the mistake of taking my vehicle elsewhere or letting another company 'add' on work when I went in for something like a quick oil change, and it always seems like something gets added more or goes wrong. Baxters knowledge and honesty are above all. I will use them as long as I own cars they work on. I know I can go there and get what I pay for, its done right, and I am not being nickel and dimed. I always leave confident that my issue is fixed, and they always help me understand what it was that was wrong or fixed. Baxters is 5 stars, I would rate higher if I could!!!

Baxter's Automotive is one of the best shops I have used in the city. You'll feel like family the moment you walk in. Ed is very knowledgeable about a myriad of import vehicles and has many years of experience to provide extraordinary service/advise. He also has significant experience with pesky electrical problems. Patricia is extremely helpful navigating the business and personal side of the shop. I have been here a handful of times for auto inspections and repair advice. Each time I have seen the amazing customer service they extend to every person that walks through the door. Their rates are very reasonable. I recently purchased a pre-owned Mini Cooper and my regular mechanic does not work on them, but he referred me to Baxter. Ed looked over the car prior to purchase to make sure it was a good car. He made a list a recommended preventative maintenance and told me the car was okay. After the purchase, I had him do the repairs. He was timely and professional and even showed me the parts he replaced - I have never had a mechanic do that before! Patricia was very professional and knowledgeable, she was very good at explaining the repairs. While I will continue going to my other mechanic for my other cars, Baxter is my new regular mechanic for my Mini Cooper. Baxter s automotive is the place to go for all your car needs! But why?A small shop gives you the assurance that your car will get the time it needs to get the job done efficiently and not rushed.I also love that they physically show you the old parts they had to replace. Instead of just saying oh yeah! you definitely need new brake pads; at Baxter s when they say you need new brake pads and show you a very worn down brake pad(my wife) you ll be glad your brakes got saved at Baxter s.We all know no car repairs/maintenance are ever dirt cheap, but hey don t let the greedy shops get you down! Instead stop on by at Baxter s where you can save your car and your wallet.And of course let s not forget what should be the easiest thing in life hospitality. At Baxter s it is incredible! Ed and Patricia are awesome to work with. I find it extremely difficult to find a reliable BMW mechanic that won't gouge you or upsell things you do not need. Ed will tell you what needs to be done on your vehicle and won't push you into items you don't need. Most honest and trustworthy shop I ve ever been to. Baxter s does the best possible work in a timely manner and does not overcharge, like most other places. They ve worked on two of my vehicles and it s been the best mechanic and best work I ve experienced! I needed all of my major fluids changed (transmission, differentials, transfer case, etc.) and I've always taken my car to the dealer. I came across Baxter Automotive and they quoted me 30% less than the dealer, and I know they did a better job! Patricia at the front desk was great, with the assistance of "Ben", the most gentle dog. Ed does the heavy lifting work in the back and very knowledgeable and forthcoming. I was a car guy growing up in the 70s with muscle cars, and Ed had all of the right answers. I happy to say that Baxter Automotive is now my automotive "go to guys". I highly recommend them!!Service: Auto maintenance

We have been taking our vehicles to Baxter Automotive for 10 years now and I will never go anywhere else. Ed is an amazing mechanic and ALWAYS explains all work needed and completed on our cars with great detail. He and Patricia never hesitate to ensure all of our questions are answered. Patricia has amazing customer service and personable skills and I thoroughly enjoy visiting with her each time I I take a car to their shop. If you are looking for a great "mom & pop shop" for your vechile repairs, I highly recommend Baxter Automotive. I would give them 10 stars if I could - they are amazing. Edward is extremely knowledgeable, his prices are very competitive, and he has provided the best service of any repair shop we have ever used. I had my 330xi BMW serviced at Baxters Automotive and was very satisfied. I had been storing my vehicle for a long period of time (several years) and it needed some TLC. The battery was very low and there was a drain on the battery while in storage. I could not determine cause of battery drain and what was needed so trusted Baxters to get to the root cause and provide a fix. They were very detailed in their troubleshooting and resolved the situation quickly - they know electrical on the BMW series. When completed I was given a thorough walk through on the parts that were replaced and a thorugh explanation on what work was performed. The costs were less than I had been quoted at another auto shop and felt that I could understand what was done to my car and how to prevent it in the future. Baxter Automotive is the place to go! Ed and Patricia s customer service is unbeatable and hands down the best service I have ever received for my car! Ed is extremely knowledgeable and explains what has to be done and why! Plus, he shows you exactly what he repaired and the old parts! Service was fast and ordering parts was even faster! My son's Subaru Forester wouldn't start. We suspected a battery but had just replaced it six months ago. I called Baxter and they told me to bring the vehicle over. They quickly identified the battery being the issue and showed me how it was impacting the alternator and belt. Within an hour or so, they had replaced the battery and the belt.
