I have been a loyal AutoZone customer for over 25 years. I can say without a doubt that this is the best AutoZone I have ever been to (Maryland, Kansas, Colorado and other states) and easily the best AutoZone in the Colorado Springs area. This store has associates that will do just about everything they can to assisted the customer and if they don't have the part, they can get it within a reasonable time. You won't get the same valued customer service from other store like Walmart. I would gladly travel out of my way to go to this AutoZone because of their top notch customer service.I'm sure everyone knows there is two sides to every story, so the negative comments on here is just one side. While this store does everything they can to assist customers in a positive way, free service isn't a guarantee, and good customer service is limited by the customer's interaction with the sale associate. If a customer comes in with a poor attitude and is disrespectful to the sales associate, that customer is already having a negatively biased experience. While this store has always had everything I needed to get the job done right the first time, this isn't always the case. This store does have basic hand tools to lend to customers along with the loaner kits, but in a world where people like to steal, loaner power tools such as drills is not always available.

FRED IS AMAZING!! After dealing with a poor install by Walmart, my husband and I came in to purchase a new battery and have it installed. He found the one we wanted, installed it and did it all with the most pleasant attitude. His automotive expertise and humor left us in good spirits and better off than we were when we arrived. This level of customer service and hospitality is hard to come by these days. Good ole Fred give that man a raise!!!

Purchased their $34.99 oil change deal that included an STP XL filter and a jug with an extra quart of oil.When I got to the counter I was charged separately for all of the items and paid $40+ over the advertised price because they didn t have the proper filter.Your lack of stock is not my problem. Your advertised price needs to be honored whether you have it in stock or not. Manage your inventory better.When I mentioned the price to the associate he basically just brushed me off and took $5 off for the filter then told me tough luck.Nah. I paid it because I m in a time crunch but I won t be giving my business to this store anymore. Horrible customer service. Treated like an inconvenience and no urgency or effort was shown to correct the issue. Smdh do better.

Martin was extremely helpful, kind and knowledgeable. He even made the initiative to come out to my car multiple times to ensure the right product was purchased and put on. Highly recommend this store just because of his customer service.

I ordered my parts online. This was a very easy process. When I picked up my battery and cabin filter, the AutoZone associate, carry out my battery for me. Wonderful customer service. Thank you for being so kind!

My battery went bad on 16 Jan 24 within the free replacement period, and they promptly replaced it for absolutely free! I was skeptical, but was happily surprised. I had a receipt for the original purchase, and the store had it in their system, too. Bottom line, that's the right way to do business, and AutoZone will keep me as a loyal customer.

They only keep warranty's items logged with your phone#. O'Reilly's keeps a record of all purchased items under your phone #. For someone like me,. Who buys and returns a lot of merchandise they need to upgrade their system. If they want my business back

The workers are really helpful. I dont do big fixes on my car just doing the lights, filters, batteries ya know the simple dont need extra tools stuff. Anytime ive come to this location the staff is on the ball the help me look for exactly what i need and if in not 100% sure they help me figure it out

Probably the rudest, laziest group of "men" I've ever had the misfortune of needing to ask for assistance. First they just stood there staring at me, followed by asking me the dumbest and simplest question(which even after given the simplest answer they still struggled with needing me to clarify even more), responded to me like I was stupid and obviously bothering them and ended the entire 90 second encounter by refusing to help me. The group of young women and high school girls at the taco bell next door were happy to help and about 100 times more capable of doing so apparently. If you HAVE to go to autozone and expect to actually get the assistance you are seeking, avoid this location at all cost. The staff tonight was pathetic. Maybe train your employees to actually do their damn job AND not be too damn lazy to when they are called upon. I would be embarrassed if I were any of those 3 boys.

While traveling 500 miles from home a fender trim panel came loose on my truck. Of course I had no tools beyond a multi tool. I stopped in knowing most auto parts stores are helpful to travelers. Well I guess they didn't want to get out of their "zone" I needed some self tapping screws, washers and a cordless drill. At 6pm in the evening they only had one other customer. They didn't bother to offer a loaner tool, or a cordless. I didn't even get help finding the hardware. I rummaged around and found what I needed. They told me the tools I could buy were over at the end of an aisle. Like I had time to charge a drill. I bought a socket set with a screw driver and managed to force a screw in place - no thanks or help from the AutoZone crew...

Pretty good I guess, though I'm still kinda agitated about the extra hour of driving I had to do to get what I needed. Condensed story - the Auto Zone website told me specifically that the store on Platte had the parts I needed, but when I arrived they told me they had neither part and that I needed to go this store, the Palmer Park location, which is approximately 15 minutes away after I had just finished driving for half an hour from the Fountain/Widefield area. Not sure who's to blame for this happening but it really sucks and was disappointing because I buy all my parts from Auto Zone. Anyway, now that my steam has been let off, this is a nice store like the majority of Auto Zones. They tend to be clean, well stocked and have helpful and friendly employees.

I had questions on a product the sales person (i think maybe a manager) was extremely rude. He made snide remarks about me wanting to buy the product for what I felt would be helpful for safety. I left that store and went to O'Reilly. They were helpful and kind on answering all my questions.

The staff is Always helpful! I'm not a mechanic but, I'm not completely ignorant neither. So when I go in to get a Turn Signal bulb, the staff asked me a series of questions to make sure that I get what I needed. I figured that I would only need to replace the bulb but, like I said, I'm not a mechanic. Most places would have sold me a fuse and a whole new light set! Not these guys and gals! They even looked to see which bulb exactly was burned out. And yep! All I needed was a bulb.THANK YOU to the Staff of Auto Zone at Powers, off Palmer Park!

Guy told me I could not put LED bulb in my 95 Jeep backup lights without have to do wiring & a power booster ... I went to O'Reilly's & bought 1136 LED bulbs & put them in & I've had no problems ...

Bill & Daylen we re outstanding. Both so helpful with phenomenal customer service. Everyone was so helpful at this location. Bill made sure I had the right battery and made sure there wasn t further issues & even had no issue putting my battery in for me (also freezing cold out). Daylen made sure I was all checked out & I had a visa gift card I also wanted to use for part of it and even though I said it s alright he made sure with no hesitation to help me. Both of them just made it a pleasant experience. Definitely 5 stars.

I needed to get new windshield wipers. Landen was very helpful. He looked up the ones I needed, made suggestions on which ones to get, and installed them for me. It was a great experience!

We are always pleased with this store and their staff. Yesterday we received excellent assistance and advice from the store manager Richard Galvin who took the extra time to make sure we got the products we needed. The store is set up well and their prices are very reasonable and all the staff are courteous, knowledge and ready to help,
