The store manager was in the store working and helping out. He helped me find the battery I needed when Ford wanted to charge me $260. He even INSTALLED my battery himself. So kind and efficient. I really appreciate his help.

They had what we needed, and the service was fast and knowledgeable, so it was a very good experience. Auto zone seems more consistent than most auto parts stores and most ofvthe time the service is better. We were pleased it was not a complicated process we didn't have to get frustrated and we were ablecto getvwhat we came for and move on without any big issues so we were happy with the choice to go there

Haven't been to this store in a while, and was disappointed when I took my bottle of oil to the register to pay, only to find out what used to be the register is now a self checkout like Walmart. An employee can still ring you up at any of the of the other terminals on the desk, but I am not a fan of self checkout at Walmart whatsoever, especially since they no longer have any regular check out lanes open leaving you to self checkout Everytime. They make you do THEIR job, then have the gall to accost you at the door like youre a thief!! I refuse to shop at Walmart anymore unless 100% necessary, and finding that Auto Zone now has self checkout just immediately put a sour taste in my mouth. The four stars I did give however, are for the selection of products, prices, and the employees who were wonderful.

James really helped me out! Woke up to a cold rainy day and when I flipped my wipers on, the one wiperblade sort of ...peeled and flipped off, followed by a new scritching sound from the blade scraping my window! James helped me figure out the right size wiper blade for my car and then helped me put it on my car. Thank you James and thank you Auto Zone for helping me today, I sure do appreciate your time!

Chris and Brian were great. I came with my Check Engine light illuminated and they thoroughly explained what the issue was and the associated risk. Further, they followed me into the parking lot and changed my headlight. I appreciate them going above and beyond to help me!

This review for the 8th St. location in Colorado Springs and may include both store policies and/or the manager's decision making at the time of my visit, regarding AutoZone's "Price Match Guarantee."From AutoZone's website page for Price Match:* You need evidence of a lower price for the product.* The product must match features like those found at AutoZone.* The other store's price must be current and verifiable.* Additionally, the Autozone 'Price Match Guarantee' only applies to in-stock items.* Lastly, AutoZone will only match prices with companies in the same geographic area. So, if you want your price match request to be accepted, you'll need to meet the requirements listed below.I printed out the price of some 75w90 Valvoline gear oil from a NAPA brick-n-mortar store that you can literally see from the AutoZone store. When I got to the register with $80 of gear oil, the manager started to hem & haw about how they won't price match with NAPA. After I proved that I had met AutoZone's own criteria for price matching, he decides to say, "We don't price match with NAPA because they're not one of our competitors." Huh? Then he adds, "Let me look at that price," and he exclaims like a preacher on Sunday morning, "Oh, I can't do that anyway," like NAPA's pricing for the Valvoline is some kind of a scam and that's why he can't match it. Which excuse is it? You don't match NAPA ever or their price is beyond your capability?I get it, reviews like this don't change people's mind. When you need an *overpriced* wiper blade, fine. But doing business with a company who is clearly deceitful in their business dealings, should mean something.I can't wait for the AutoZone representative to chime in saying, "Gosh, we're sorry you had a bad experience." I didn't have a bad experience, your store manager and corporate policy handed it to me without missing a beat.

When me and my grandson enter the store the young man employee helped us with looking for car battery for my grandson the employee was very helpful and nice my grandson has his first car he got his driver's license a week ago and I want AutoZone to be his car parts store because they were my store for 14 years thank you AutoZone Auto parts

I had an amazing experience with the help of an employee at this store. I needed to get my battery replaced and the man who helped me was so incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond! If I ever need anything for my car while in COS I'll be stopping here!

A+ customer service! I was next-door at the car wash and managed to lock my keys, wallet, phone inside my car. I walked next-door to the AutoZone and Robert and Rodney were extremely helpful in my dilemma. Robert and I happened to have the same car insurance, so he was able to get me the 1- 800 number and let me use the phone in the store. They offered for me to stay as long as I needed. I realize standing there that I actually do need a rear windshield wiper, so after I got my car unlocked I returned to the store to purchase the windshield wiper. Rodney stood outside with me with a flashlight to help me install it! Top-notch customer service. Definitely have a loyal customer from me. Thank you both for your kindness this evening.

While attempting to check out I was told I wasn t able too at the register I approached, all though it was open and the employee seemed to be standing around, than after having to go back and wait for awhile in line, the next employee who entered and came to help at check out, specifically brought me to the register I was previously told I couldn t be checked out at, the employee who previously told me I couldn t check out there than told the employee helping me too hurry it up

Cody (the driver) was super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly! He ran my check engine code, checked the battery, replaced the battery, replaced the gas cap, and made sure everything was running nice and smooth before sending me on my way!

Seems as though when I'm there around 4:00 or 4:30 there's a lot of people but no one's helping at the counter there's only maybe one or two people at the registers so I'd like to see those people that are kind of wandering around and laughing and having a good time everywhere to help out more. This is happened more than once it's not a first time thing it's been a couple times I only stop there cuz it's on my way home and they generally have the parts I need and the counter guys are real helpful but need to get the manager and everybody online to get everybody working and helping the customers when there's a big line

Tim the manager at this location was very helpful this morning. He helped me find out what size wiper blades I needed and also put them on for me! Super friendly and hard working guy! He deserves a raise! Thanks Tim!

This 07 Honda Fit I have was giving me misfiring issues a couple weeks ago. I brought it here initially asking if I could park it in their parking lot overnight as the misfiring happened near this AutoZone, the area is terrible for crime and theft and you really don t want to drive your car for even a short distance while it s misfiring. The AutoZone employees recommended I not park my car there. One of the employees did however go above and beyond to help me diagnose the misfiring issue. It was resolved with some respectable customer-service oriented conversation and a little elbow grease. I truly recommend this location. Thank you guys and very kind girl working when I happened to be there. You all really did help me.

Tim, the manager, was so helpful and nice. My cars battery died, and it is difficult to get to. Tim sold me an excellent battery for a great price, with a warranty. He also spent nearly an hour carefully removing the old battery and installing my new one. Honestly, it was a great experience and all of the staff were polite and knowledgeable. I will always shop at this branch of Autozone.

I am super grateful for Tim, the store manager's customer service today. I came in not very knowledgeable about headlights and Tim took the time to show me how to install my headlight as well as gave me a few other tips for my battery, etc. I really appreciate his time and smile today as it made me walk away with a smile and a working headlight. Thank you Tim!

Ordered online and paid ahead. Got to the store they did not have an item that I bought. The worker said his co worker went to pick up the item and it would be at the store I originally ordered it from in an hour and a half. So I tell him that s fine, I ll wait. An hour goes by and I ask about the part, the worker told me he would be here in 15 min. Another hour goes by and the worker said he ll be here in ten minutes. It s how 3 hours later, no part that I already paid for. I asked could I pick it up from the store they are going to get it from and he says no it s already in route. This is unacceptable! I ve been waiting for 3 hours, no part and I paid my money already. I m so upset, horrible customer service!!

I want to say thank you to the staff at this location, I thought they had great customer service! I got my windshield wipers replaced and so appreciate the staff putting them on for me. One of the wipers wasn't making complete contact, so I went in again and got it replaced. No problem with the new one, and I was treated very well.
