Mike, Josh, and the rest of the team really do provide a small town shop experience. They're always fantastic to work with and price fairly. If they can't work on a vehicle due to size or other restriction they let you know of another great shop to go to. I wouldn't go anywhere else if it can be avoided. The only real issue is that they're popular enough to be booked out and don't have same day service typically. But hey, that's performance punishment for you. Well done to the team at Autowerks and thank you for being a mechanic shop that people can still trust. We need more like you!

Mike, Josh, and the team at Autowerks provide excellent service from a phone call to end of service, the really listen and are genuine. It s hard to find a good, honest, and fairly priced mechanic shop, let alone a great one, but that s what you get with Autowerks. They should be the first place you go. Thanks to the team there!

My very first experience with Auto Werks came about on the recommendation from one of my church members. I called and got an appointment for an oil change and brake inspection. I brought the truck in on the appointment day, and they gave me a ride back to my apartment. As with auto repairs the unknown sometimes happens....when they went to do the brake flush they had a frozen drain plug that resulted in a delay to order new parts. All this was communicated to me by phone and I made arrangements to pick up the truck the next morning. I was very happy with the final results!

I just returned from 2 years in Vincenza Italy. Forced to have my SUV worked on by Italians who didn't know much about 2008 "Lifted" Toyota 4Runners, I made a direct beeline to Mike Prouty and Auto Werks works when I got back into Colorado Springs.As per his usual standard, Mike and his team took care of my vehicle and put it back in 110% working condition like it was when I left Colorado Springs in July 2021. I've known Mike for 12 years now. A more honest, decent, and caring (Christian) man I don't think I've ever met. Josh his Service Manager, while no longer "turning wrenches", keeps the shop running, providing constant contact with customers, and answering" every question " - no matter how small or insignificant.I encourage all active-duty, retired, and NG/RES military members & Veterans to give your business to Auto Werks! (Mike is a US Air Force Veteran!)If you're looking for "honor and integrity" in your auto repairs (which is damn hard to find these days!) - look no further than Auto Werks! 22 years ago, a friend recommended Auto Werks, and they are still the best mechanics and diagnosticians I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Mike and his crew are a joy to work with; very thorough; knowledgeable; honest; and they back up their work with a full warranty. They have even provided a ride when my car needed to stay overnight. They have gone above and beyond the call every time I have needed their services. Mike is not only an amazing technician, but a warm, caring individual. Everyone at Auto Werks is outstanding. I can honestly recommend them without any reservation! Please consider making Auto Werks your auto repair experts!Update: 1/11/2023 - What an amazing experience! From diagnosis to solution, Mike and his team worked tirelessly to solve the problem. They fixed a broken fuel pump, and replaced a worn out AWD drive shaft as well as four completely shot motor mounts on our vehicle. I cannot recommend Auto Werks enough. I took my older car in for various things and was pleased with any service that was done. It's been several years as I purchased a new vehicle and upon returning for maintenance I remember why I always loved this business. (I might add it was like coming back to family) Friendly, fair, informative for me as a woman, efficient and more than anything honest. They are the best!Service: General repairs & maintenance

AWESOME Professional & Honest! This is one of the best repair shops I have ever been to. Back in the 70s I worked at a professional repair shop and these guys are right up there. I took my jeep to them with the engine already torn apart. They replaced the engine. And figured out why it would not start due to what happened when the previous engine was torn down. They worked in a team effort to get it done. I am so appreciative. These guys work on everything and I ll be will be backService: Engine repair

The folks at Auto Werks are top-notch. I had them replace the Timing Belt, other belts, water pump, and valve cover gaskets, etc on my 98 Honda CR-V. They did their work on time and under the quote. So how did I test the work? Road Trip! No leaks, no engine problems, the old CR-V ran great and I had a nice increase in my gas mileage! I'll be taking my other cars to them when they need work.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had a reasonable amount of work done for around $2200. Auto Werks tuned my vehicle and it drove great. Until my coolant system (that they worked on) developed a leak after a few weeks.They said there was combustion gas in my coolant and that I needed a new head gasket but tried to talk me into a new engine. They quoted me $7k after taking $2k from me. My truck sat for 6 months and I struggled to figure out how to afford to fix it. A friend who is a mechanic said he wanted to diagnose the issue. He replaced a $4 rubber seal on my cooling system and since then my truck has gone for over 6000mi with NO ISSUES.I talked to Auto Werks and they apologized for the overkill/misdiagnosis. I was biking for 6 months because my truck needed a new engine according to them. I believe they are nice people and mean well but this was not cool. Mike and his team are amazing! After moving here, it took me awhile to find an honest car repair shop. Mike worked with me, gave me honest advice, and called me more than once to help fix my car! Now my whole family brings our cars to Auto Werks! We have used Auto Werks on several occasions and have never been disappointed. They are honest, do great work, and get things done when you expect or sooner. The shop is about 25 minutes away from my house, but worth the drive every time! I would highly recommend them.

Again, I lucked out! Hands down this is the place to do business with. From the moment I called for a quote to the time I picked up my vehicle , the PROFESSIONALS at Autowerks took care of every aspect of the repair. I highly recommend you use this shop for any repairs you may need. I know me, my family and friends will. Great job to all the staff and management! Oustanding!

I bought a used car and it needed several issues corrected. I was given an expected date for completion. The repairs were complete by the date promised. Driving home I could feel a the difference in the way it handled, like I was driving a new car.Folks showed genuine interest and respect towards me, a senior woman. These guys are great. They were honest and upfront about the work to be done on my van and how much it would cost. Some places don't take the time to explain what a job entails, but Mike took the time to explain what needed to be done and why. Auto Werks has found a loyal customer!

I have use the shop on my fleet vehicles for many years. They are very honest and they do great work. These guys fixed my difficult Audi, perfectly! They explain to you, what's wrong, and what they are gonna do to fix it! They are completely transparent! Hands down the best mechanic I've gone to! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Auto Werks has serviced both our vehicles for over five years and I have always been overly impressed with their straight forward way of talking to me. I can always understand both the need for a repair and the ways that I may be able to avoid them in the future.They only do exemplary work each and every time. Mike and his crew are honest, friendly, helpful... and they do excellent work. We cannot recommend Auto Werks too highly. If you are looking for an honest shop that will not try to take advantage of you in any way, then give Mike and his crew a call.

What an honest and quality family owned business, operated with class, understanding, knowledge, and A+ work and rates. Learned so much from the guys about what was really going on in my vehicle! They offered me several options, starting w the least expensive, potential fixes...a discount for being a single mom too! A joy and blessing to have this business suggested to me from my church! Will never go anywhere else! Looking forward to working w them all again.

Very professional and they went above and beyond by taking me home and picking me up instead of having me wait in the waiting room. They checked for any maintenance items that hadn't been taken care of and made the whole process extremely easy and stress free.
