If you're in need of a mechanic who's not just a pro under the hood but also a gem of a human being, look no further than Griff, AKA Griffzilla! This guy is amazing. Griff doesn't sugarcoat anything. You'll get the straight facts from him, no beating around the bush. And trust me, in an industry sometimes plagued by shady characters, having someone like Griff in your corner is a true blessing. He's all around a great person andnot just a mechanic, he's a philosopher with a wrench. Our chats about life, the universe, and everything in between have been as enriching as his repairs are effective. Back on the road!

Brought a very complex Chevy Traverse in and they were so honest. Price was extremely fair. Very knowledgeable techs that make you feel like you have known them for some time. 1000% recommend to all with auto repair needs. Best customer service I have had in a while

I recently visited Action Automotive for a routine transmission fluid check, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received. I think it's always super important to have a mechanic you can trust. Well, look no further! Mark and Action Automotive are HANDS DOWN the most honest, reputable, trustworthy company with complete integrity that you can find these days. I recently had to do an entire engine swap on my vehicle and Action Automotive made it stress-free and super convenient for me. I wasn't sold anything I didn't need and the communication was always open and flowing. my Honda accord has been having the same issue for the past 3 years, I have taken it to multiple car shops only to find out it still had the same problem a few weeks later. . . Lots of money down the drain and still a broken vehicle.I spoke to mark (owner of action automotive) and he asked me to bring it in so he could take a look at it. He immediately found the problem and gave me a great price to get everything fixed!! My car is still running with ZERO issues, I HIGHLY recommend this shop!! Mark is very open and honest about his work and I hate to say it, but It s hard to find a good mechanic you can trust. . . give this guy a shot, you won t be disappointed!! Thank you Mark!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. Tom, the former owner, was honest & awesome but he is not there anymore. Last month I took my car in to have it inspected because it was making a horrible noise and I was unsure of the cause. Mark, the new business owner, told me he inspected it and that my recently replaced shocks were not installed correctly which caused the noise and he allegedly found more issues and he needed to redo the shock "towers" and replace some bearings. It would all cost over $900 to resolve the issues but the fix would be delayed because he had to order parts. Fortunately the delay allowed me to get a 2nd opinion. Turns out the only issue was that my tires, recently replaced elsewhere, were loose and making all the noise. When Mark called me the next week to ask if I was gonna bring it in I explained our frustrations with his tactics and that he lost 2 new customers that were giving him a chance to earn our trust. He then tried to blame it on his technician.(On a different occasion with my wife's car, he supposedly replaced the tierods with new ones which is highly doubtful because they still have rust on the threads. Im quite sure that new tierods will not begin to rust within 2 months of installation. And if they were replaced, he got used parts and charged us for new ones.)After having all of my tires tightened and a thorough inspection of my struts and sway bars by my trusted mechanic, a close friend, the noises were eliminated.

Literally the most amazing experience and customer service, I came in for front brake pads broken, broken brake light and a broken window regulator and they fixed it all within 3 and half hours and they also do military discount which was a plus, I will definitely be going back

Awesome service! Honest, did a great job explaining what was wrong and what needed to be done. Gave me options that would save me money. Couldn t be happier. Highly recommend. The new owner, Mark seems like a great and honest guy!

We went to get our oil/power steering fluid leak checked out here and they not only did a diagnostic for free but when talking about if they did the service they were very reasonably priced. They also gave their honest opinion and said we should look for another car instead of needlessly spending money to fix a car that is not worth it. We really appreciated that honesty as most mechanics would not share that and just try to get us to keep paying for repairs. Even though we did not get a service done today we will be coming here from now on with our other cars in the future. We value honesty and we will now be loyal customers to this shop!

We really could not believe so many 5 stars ratings so we picked this mechanic to fix our car. And indeed it was a 5 star experiance! Actually the best service we have had ever with a car. And a totaly fair pricing, not expensive at all. It is because the owner has a real passion for cars. In the waiting room you get free drinks, toys for kids, TV. The problems of our car were shown us, so we could understand perfectly the problem and the best way to fix it.

Found out my minivan was leaking coolant and these guys were highly recommended. They did not disappoint! Very quick and thorough diagnosis (a faulty water pump) and they were able to get the part and install it on the same day I brought it in. The Best Auto - Repair experience I've had! I trust Tom with all of my automotive questions. Prompt and effective service, and they don't overcharge, which is so important as a woman, especially since so many mechanics try to take advantage of you! They make sure to examine that everything is in order with your vehicle, and get you out and moving very quickly!

Tom was great. Friendly and knowledgeable. They took care of my truck, and got the work done in only a few hours. I feel like it would have taken much longer at some other auto shops around town (it has in the past and it can be frustrating). Thankful a friend recommended them to me! Tom provides everything you'd want out of a mechanic; he's honest, he gives a fair price, he knows what he's doing, and he's a great person. I've used him for over 10 years and never had a bad experience.In the beginning I would get fooled by lower prices from big chains but then I realized they were just giving me a misdiagnosis of my issue, and I'd have to pay more than I was originally quoted. I would have saved money every time had I just gone to Tom from the start. I've never paid more than what Tom quoted and when he found things to be easy, I've been given discounts.

I recently moved to this part of town and was dreading the process of finding a new mechanic. I was absolutely delighted with my experience of Action Automotive from my initial phone call to picking up my vehicle after service. My 4Runner has begun misfiring and Tom scheduled my appt for the next day. He called me less than an hour after I dropped my vehicle off with a diagnosis and the work was finished a few hours later. When I went to pick up the car he showed me each part he d removed from my car and why it needed replacing (plugs, wires and belts). It s such a relief to have found an honest and professional shop. Now if I could just find an equally honest dentist :).

I have been a consistent customer of Tom for probably the last eighteen years. In the early years I would always check his prices with other shops. Tom was always in the ballpark. The difference with Tom is that he always pinpoints the problem and does not add to the grief of going to a mechanic by finding extra problems that don't need to be fixed. While I have never seen it stated anywhere, I know that his policy is get the car out the same day it comes in. He and his team our quick and efficient. For a time, I thought I was moving out of town. It was kind of strange, but one of my major concerns was "Where am I going to bring my vehicle when it needs repairs?" It shows how much stress an honest repair shop can take off a person's mind. Thanks Tom and Team.--Anthony Petti

We've been taking our vehicles here for years and recommend them to everyone we know! Even my employer uses them, now. They always provide an honest estimate, show you any defective parts so you know they actually performed the repair, and will not quote you unnecessary work. Highly recommend!

Professional automotive shop that repairs your car in a time conscience manner. Unlike most shops, these mechanics don't try and gouge up the price by 'finding more problems'. I have been going to them for years, and don't plan on switching any time soon! Trustworthy, honest, and friendly service. :-)

This place is great. Tom got me in on the same day and had an answer for my problem in a couple of hours, just like he told me he would. He took the time to talk to me and answer all of my questions even though they were busy and shorthanded. Very honest service, and I will definitely be making this my go to shop.

This is the mechanic shop everyone dreams about! They fix the problem the first time every time and they don't "make up" problems to get more money. A competitor of theirs by my work quoted me $2200 for a problem I was having. Action fixed it for under $125. These guys are trustworthy!!

I've been going to them for years. Tom is in charge, and he's honest. No laundry list of repairs that have to be done immediately. He walks you through the work they do and shows you the parts replaced etc. I never go anywhere else.
