I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Arrowhead Mountain Lodge, and I must say that my experience was thoroughly disappointing.Firstly, the design of the hotel was interesting, but that's where the positives ended. The location was deep in the woods, which made for a scenic drive, but the road leading up to the hotel was unpaved and rough.The rooms were tiny, and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. I woke up with a sore back every morning. The cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired, with dust and dirt accumulated in every corner.The bathroom was minuscule, and the shower was barely large enough for one person. And don't even get me started on the breakfast - everything was frozen and tasteless.I was thoroughly disappointed with the price and quality of the Arrowhead Mountain Lodge. For the amount I paid, I expected a much higher level of comfort and cleanliness.Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a complete letdown, and I would advise others to look elsewhere for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This is the second time that our family has stayed here and is such an awesome spot for a weekend getaway. The staff is always so accommodating and friendly. The open space downstairs is awesome.Only thing that may make it a little better is a hot tub!Thank you for the great experiences!

This place is truly a hidden gem! If you want a quiet mountain getaway, this is the place to go. With a full bar and restaurant you don't have to leave and we didn't want to. The appetizers we had were amazing and their custom cocktails were great too. I highly recommend the blueberry infused margaritas. The owner and her husband were so nice and the staff, all of them, were amazing. Everyone was friendly and attentive to our every need. They acted more like a happy family than employees. We took our dogs and there were so many places to walk them right out the door. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. I can't wait until snowmobiling is in full force. We look forward to going back. Thank you Arrowhead for the Great stay!!!

My husband and I decided to book this venue for our wedding. After MONTHS of working with them, they decided to tell us that they will be playing live music at the venue (that is open to the public)Mind you this was NEVER mentioned beforehand.We have met with the event planner 3 times at this point (NEVER ONCE WAS THIS BROUGHT UP)We were also told if we booked the whole lodge it would be ours for the day, and we wouldn t have to worry about other people being at the lodge.We went ahead and decided to book the whole lodge so that we would have our special day to ourselves. Only to be let known after months of working with them that they will be having a concert going on right next to where our reception/ceremony would be. This would be obviously okay if it was mentioned beforehand, but at this point we have been working with this venue for months and they just now mentioned this. Pretty chaotic to have live music going on right next to a DJ playing music.Leaving us frantic to find another venue. Very unprofessional, and super stressful. At this point we are getting close to our wedding date, and it is VERY hard to find a venue that isn t already booked out.

We really enjoyed the stay at the lodge. Had an excellent room & the food for breakfast was very good! Can't beat bagels & strawberry cream cheese. They even served real butter! The restaurant had a great selection of different types of food. Had steak one night, was as good as I cook at home on outdoor grill. Will be back perhaps spring or early summer for Fishing at Blue Mesa & green scenery.

From the moment we walked into the lodge we felt the best vibe. It's easy to say that the staff were helpful but that doesn't really capture how at ease you feel with them. I swear we could have sat and chatted with them all night. They are real people and obviously care about thier place.Everything is super clean and tidy. The food is amazing. I'm a foodie and I don't throw amazing around just to leave a polite review.The bar is fantastic, the living room area is a great place to take a drink and relax by the fire.I am sad to say that I don't remember names because the folks we spoke with were so great.We got there and the gentleman running the bar at 2 on Sat was so friendly and helpful. The gentleman that checked us in walked us to our room and showed us around, which my gf thought was a nice touch. The young lady that came in for dinner time was extremely nice and made us feel comfortable and valued. The young man that came in and was helping her attended to us at dinner was so friendly and we had a great conversation.I know this is a long-winded review but I don't think I am going overboard when I say that this is my new favorite place to vacation in CO.Thank you to the owners for the respect you show veterans like myself and your generosity to those that have served means a great deal.If you haven't been to Arrowhead go soon. Really enjoyed the area and scenery nearby. I was looking at land in the general area so decided to walk in the lodge to ask questions and gather information. We were met by a rather intense, know-it-all, lady who spoke down to our realtor and made us feel uncomfortable being inside the lodge. We stayed long enough to use their restrooms and get away from the lady who insisted on following us around the facility, interjecting with comments after we had already tried to walk away from her once. She was sitting at the bar when we walked in, looked like a regular patron, turned out to be the least friendly person we encountered our entire trip.

Thanksgiving dinner 2023 was amazing. Very relaxed very welcoming. Staff was above n beyond excellent.Fried turkey, smoked turkey, insane adda control amazing. Wow.We were treated with the utmost respect, customer service was soo warm and welcoming us into thier lodge. The room was warm n very cozy the whole visit was such a great and wonderful experience.Thank you for making our stay memorable.

We stopped in for one night and stayed in a room with a king sized bed. The room was really clean and well maintained. I read in one review that there wasn't AC. That's true, but there was a big fan near a window and it cools down significantly at night and made for a really comfortable sleeping experience. We had zero issues with our accommodations.We ate at their restaurant twice during our stay. The food was great and not over priced. The atmosphere was great and the workers were hospitable and professional. One employee even helped me locate some medicine for my son who wasn't feeling well at dinner.We also ate their continental breakfast in the morning. Their refrigerator was fully stocked with milk(even individual servings for kids) and other stuff you would expect. Their freezer also had Jimmy Dean sandwiches with were nice for a fast warm meal.The next day, my son was still feeling under the weather and they accommodated a late checkout so my daughter and I could still enjoy a morning out on the UTV while my son rested.Great staff. Great facility. Great location. Make the trip and stay here.

We totally enjoyed our snowmobile trip at the lodge, all of the staff was extremely friendly & accommodating. The rooms were cozy and clean, beds were so comfortable!!! The continental breakfast was perfect and tasty. The restaurant was super, the menu had a big variety. We enjoyed every meal we had, the waitresses were friendly and attentive. Our stay was everything we hoped!!!

Stayed here during a road trip through the state. The room was really cozy, clean and nicely decorated. The bed was soft and comfortable. The area is really quiet and is an amazing star gazing spot.If you are considering staying at the lodge keep a few things in mind.- The road to the lodge is not paved and it takes a good 20 minutes to get there. Some people like the scenery but then again it is nothing you would not see elsewhere in the area.- The breakfast was underwhelming. The yogurts in the fridge were inflated, so I did not risk having one. Other options included microwaveable burritos and breakfast sandwiches. I could not find eggs or fruit. They do have a Keurig coffee machine, but the capsules taste pretty bad. I would definitely recommend packing your own breakfast.- I could not quiet figure out if the lodge has a front desk. I arrived late at night and my keys were in an envelope taped to the front door. The next morning I did not see any staff members downstairs. This was not a big deal for me (I was only staying for one night), but this can be an issue if you are staying for longer.

Loved my stay here. The sky was as clear as it could get. Beautiful rooms, amazing stay.Special mention for the service, they are really sweet and kind, provided us dinner and drinks after closing. We reached post 9.30pm and still the service was extremely good. I wish I stayed there more than a night, this place is an experience on its own.

Wonderful alternative to a hotel on our family vacation. Rooms were comfortable and clean and unique. Service was friendly and prompt. Came on a Saturday and enjoyed the BBQ dinner and live Music of Sunny Downpour. Highly recommend Arrowhead Lodge!Rooms: Very clean and unique decor.

We had a wonderful stay at Arrowhead Mountain Lodge! We were warmly welcomed when we arrived for check in by staff and were extremely happy with our cozy room. The room was clean, spacious and welcoming - even had a lovely fire place to keep us warm! We had dinner downstairs in the restaurant and the service was exception and the staff and other guests all so friendly. Loved every minute of our stay!

Booked a cabin for a weekend stay months ago. I called to add a night to my stay and was told from (Skye) that it had been damaged by some guest and wouldn't be ready. She promised that she would find me a place for our family and would call me by that night. Needless to say she never did, I waited on her and lost my chance to book an a different cabin for the same weekend. I called again and she was a little rude and said I will call you back I've been busy. Once again no word from her, I waited 2 weeks. I called again and spoke to someone else and found out that the reason why they cancelled on me was because they needed the cabin for staff housing. Arrowhead don't rent something to someone when you don't have it and I wonder if I wouldn't of called to add a night would they have even called me to tell me that they canceled my reservation??? I did ask to speak with the owner but was told she had surgery and was under the weather. All I can say is very unprofessional and Skye that's just rude and disrespectful!!!

Arrowhead Mountain Lodge was a great getaway for us! The staff was very welcoming and helpful.Our room was very comfortable, clean and cozy!The restaurant food was tasty, with specials each day. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food offered.

We went up to enjoy the fall colors and our stay at Arrowhead Mountain Lodge was amazing. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. The rooms are so nice, clean and have a mountain vibe that s warm and inviting. The restaurant there was wonderful and the food was amazing. We can t say enough about our stay. Thank you Sky, for making our stay so comfortable and nice. We will be back.

We just got back from a 2 night stay at Arrowhead with the kids and had a wonderful visit. The room was fantastic and our kids had a blast. My very picky 7 year old eater was thrilled with the choices on the menu but even more excited to play with Dani s kids and explore the outdoor area. Dani and the whole restaurant crew were great, the food was very good, the adhoc Friday music performance was an awesome surprise and our entire stay was exceptional. We can t wait to return and are even contemplating a winter visit when our kids are older. I can only imagine how beautiful this place is in the fall and winter. Thank you all for a great stay!

Great room, great staff. Went to concert got food stayed the night. Staff was engaging and so friendly. Was worried about stairs because of my disability but they had a ramp and outside entrance made to accomidate a wheelchair. For a rural hotel I was very impressed.Rooms: Great fun location clean cabin feel to it.

What a gem of a place to stay, the rooms are cozy with a gas fireplace. Geared to families. Can snowmobile from the lodge up to the Alpine Plateau. Great, friendly staff and owners, who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Although they were packed for dinner, our meals came out in a timely manner. Steaks were great. Breakfast is only on Sundays, although their continental al-a-cart has jimmy dean breakfast sausages, eggs to hard boil, pastries, juices, fruit yogurt etc. will return

This place is really cool if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. The restaurant had good food and the waitress was very helpful when we asked where to go to see wildlife. I would love to go back and snowmobile the trails in the winter. Very clean!! Nice sized rooms. Cool atmosphere including a shared outside deck area. Bands planned on the weekends with a nice outdoor area to enjoy it all. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!!

The room itself was very nice and clean, bed was on the too soft side but ok. we had an issue with the people more than the hotel. We were there for some live music night and chuck wagon the music wasn t bad but the food was terrible. It was dry and flavorless. What made it worse was they didn t have anything else to offer kitchen was closed and you were too far to go anywhere else to find something. Needless to say I spent almost $80 on a BBQ meal I couldn t eat. Next was the atmosphere we all had to sit down at community tables (which was fine) till one of the locals there invited themself to sit next to me VERY closely while the whole table was available. Then she started hounding questions at me asking me if I was local and where I was from. I told her I wasn t from there and she practically yelled at me for mispronouncing things and then shunned me and scooted away while continuing to watch me closely. Overall nice place but environment is everything and this was not a good environment! Oh yah and they kept riding on there 4 wheeler at 10 o clock at night. So noise level was also not most convenient.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Arrowhead Mountain Lodge! Our first time there for a 4-day get away, we loved every part about it. Spring off-season so super quiet, but talking to staff we look forward to coming back in summer to experience beer garden and music. Christy was such a great host in the restaurant, so fun to talk to and great suggestions to add to our plans while we were there. Dillon also took great care of us in the restaurant. Fun to get to know the Locals in the evening and just had a blast. Great time!!!
