Today we came to pickup our explorer. We knew the vehicle had many issues and that the repair cost far exceeded the value of the car. We were more than willing to pay for diagnostic work done. However, the owner kindly waived the charge, in consideration of the amount of issues, this was not a small gesture. We have been customers of Saul's Autotek for several years and they have always been professional, upfront and fair. We thank them for all their efforts.

The number of 1-star reviews you're seeing should be alarming.I took my car to Saul's for one reason - they're open on Sundays.Saul's returned my car with a new large crack in the windshield. The location pit is underneath the windshield trip. An unlikely spot for a rock but a likely sport for a carless mechanic to set tools. The moment I stepped into my vehicle, I noticed it and went to notify the front desk. With no manager present, I was told to send them an email.Three weeks later, what's even more frustrating is their complete lack of responsiveness and accountability. Despite numerous attempts to reach out via email, I have received no acknowledgment or response. Furthermore, whenever I attempt to contact a manager for assistance over the phone, there's always an excuse about their absence. There was additional incompetence from Saul when he misdiagnosed an issue of torn CV boots on my Land Cruiser. I was in disbelief because I had that work done 1 year ago. Thankfully, a day later, a mechanic called to let me know they weren't torn... just dirty. It's hard to say you have expertise when you can't take a closer look at a rubber fitting for tears.

I brought my older car in to Saul's for the first time, to diagnose a check engine light. Their hours of operation and skilled year-round staff made it beyond unique in presentation and appealing to me because of my work schedule. There, I was meant not only with exceptional professionalism in every aspect of my experience (most importantly, the quality of workmanship they provided), but I was also greeted by Saul himself. He leads his very enthusiastic staff, kindly and in a very hands-on fashion. Their pricing was quite reasonable, and when I got my vehicle back I found that they had resolved an electrical issue effecting my turn signal as well as the initial engine issue, without charging, or even asking about it (I had been driving without my front passenger side signal working for months thinking I'd have to replace the entire harness).I feel like Saul's might have cracked the code in availability, quality of service and ethical/honest customer care in an industry that I rarely see these principals implemented at all.Thank You Saul and all all of your staff, I would highly recommend!

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Saul Autotek for the exceptional service they provided. From the moment I stepped in, Saul and his team treated me with genuine care and professionalism. They not only efficiently addressed my car's issues but also took the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring I felt confident in their work. Saul's personal touch and sincere concern for his customers truly stood out to me. If you're looking for a car service center where you'll be treated like family, I wholeheartedly recommend Saul Autotek. They exceeded my expectations in every way, and I'm incredibly grateful for their outstanding service.

Saul is running a great shop. I brought in my car for a diagnostic and his shop had a full quote for me within a few hours, on a Saturday no less. They re super friendly and make you feel like you want to be a return customer. This is one of those shops you can really trust with your vehicle. It s clear he s in the business of fostering long term relationships with his customers. I would recommend this shop to any of my friends and family. No matter where you are in Denver metro, Saul s shop is worth the drive.

Saul's was the only shop I could find that would even look at my Nissan transmission. The information they gave after the (free) second opinion look through was thorough and easy to understand. I never felt like I was being upsold or cheated like at other shops, and his advice was very genuine. I ended up having to buy a new car that day, and Saul checked it out before I even bought it to ensure I was buying a quality vehicle. I definitely appreciated his hospitality and the care he put into his business and customers!

These guys may be good mechanics, I never really got a chance to find out. It took in my old Subaru outback with a check engine light and they basically said they wouldn't even attempt to fix it unless I agreed to a $10k (far more than the car is worth) engine rebuild. They park a Rolls Royce in front of the door and that probably tells you the kind of customer they are looking for (not your regular driver with a regular car that needs to be repaired). When I spoke to owner, he suggested that if I wanted to patch up my old Subaru, maybe I wasn't the kind of customer they were looking to support. Yikes!

Five stars from me and my family.!! Saul quickly found the problem with my brakes system. He got it fixed on the same day and gave me the very best customer service a mechanic could provide. Excellent quality services from a professional. Thanks, Saul! We will come to you again.

To be honest I cannot understand why or believe that this place doesn't have better reviews. First off I just took my car in for a diagnostic because it was running terrible but the full diagnostic took two and a half hours and only cost me 49 bucks! So besides walking around I had an opportunity to sit in the lobby and listen to saul the owner speak to a variety of customers both in person and over the phone and dealt with him personally.... This man is not only an intelligent mechanic who has the right equipment to do just about anything but what's more important is he is the epitome of an honest person. Even if it's news that's hard to hear or something that most mechanics wouldn't even do like recommending going to a salvage yard or giving them advice on how to handle the insurance company and claim, or in my case recommending not putting another cent into the vehicle, he tells it like it is and gives the best advice for the situation even if it means losing out on money.... Which is awesome. Even if the services end up being a little costly which I wouldn't know since I didn't have anything done but the diagnostic not only am I willing to pay that price but all of my family and friends are now going to go through him and his company/shop. It's hard to find a mechanic that knows what he's talking about and doing with so many different vehicles but on top of that one that is completely and wholeheartedly honest. Saul you are amazing and with me and anyone I know you will have customers for life!

Don't really even know where to start but took my jeep there because they claimed to be experts in deathwobble. Wanted them to check out a few other small things, which was a terrible decision.I was talked into a full transfer case rebuild, differential rebuilds, new axles, drive shafts, all new steering components, new balljoints, etc. I even told them the transfer was was brand new, along with new balljoints and new Clayton steering kit but I trusted them when they said it needed to be replaced.About $20k later and having my jeep there on and off for 14 months, it ran worse than before. AND to cap it off, they charged me twice for replacing gears in my differential. After bring it back several times for warranty work, the ASE "expert" mechanic finally admitted that they dont know whats going on and that I should take it to another shop even though everything was under warranty still. So, at his recommendation, I ended up taking to another place, paying the new mechanic to correct everything and told the front desk girls that I dont even care about paying someone else to get it done right but I DO want to be refunded for the work they charged me twice for. After several emails, and calls, there was no response from anyone. I filed a claim with my credit card but because I had paid and signed for the work when I picked up the car and didnt notice it was duplicated at the time of service, that was denied. Tried again to have them refund them amount, and couldn't get anyone from there to respond.Recently handed everything over to my friend that is a lawyer so we will see how that goes, but i doubt anything will come of it , just want people to be aware. So many better options for mechanics, stay far away from this place if you need anything beyond an oil change. AND PS --- carefully look at your estimate, this place likes to charge 2x and 3x for parts compared to the normal retail value!

I started taking my Nissan Frontier to Saul's Autotek after a very bad experience with a Nissan dealership. Sauls has been great to deal with! They really seem to put the customer first. They communicate pricing upfront, they have a decent turnaround time, they have knowledgeable staff, and are friendly to deal with. Most importantly to me they seem to be very honest, which for me behind knowledgeable is the most important trait I can find in a mechanic. If your in need of auto repair I would highly recommend Saul's Autotek!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Oil change

Saul was very kind to me when giving me the news that my car repairs would cost way more than my car is worth. He was very honest and upfront with me about the repairs that I needed, and gave me suggestions for reliable cars to look for. He charged me nothing for the diagnostic, which I really appreciated. So I walked away needing a new car, but also walked away without paying a dime. Even let me leave my car there while I figure out where to tow it. I will go to Saul's for any future car repairs!

Saul is a very nice guy! Warm, welcoming and knowledgable crew. I took my car in and although I did not go through with the service, I still left very happy. I will be taking any future car to Saul for work. Highly recommend!

I discovered this place a few weeks ago. I took my car into a major dealership and they did a terrible job. Saul was open on a sunday. It was a wonderful experience and I gave him five stars.I went back today. He was not there but his staff was.I needed something done and I was very specific about what I was going to approve and not.... They could have answered that question for me immediately knowing that they would not do it.. Instead , they let me sit there 42 hours for their guys to look at it. They quoted me the price. I knew I wasn't going to pay because I only wanted part of the job. They insisted on the entire thing.I could have gone up the street and got it done a lot cheaper and got it done today. Now I have to wait till tomorrow and lose even more money as I am a rideshare guy.My first experience was great. This time not so much. By insisting that I sit there for 2 hours. While they look at it they cost me quite a bit of money... And the whole time they knew what they were going to do.

Saul s Autotek went over and above to get us back on the road to continue our vacation. While traveling through Denver our RV began having troubles. We called Saul s Autotek on Sunday and they offered to take a look at the RV. They worked deligently to solve the problem and make sure everything was 100% before we continued on our journey. They were amazing and I would take all of my auto repair meds to them if I only lived in the Denver market! Thank You Autotek for top notch service and care.

Inaccurately diagnosed. Brought Subaru to two other places, one that specializes in Subaru. Both other places confirmed motor was fine. Some oil leaks which are normal for my year/make and discussed ways to maintain. I was quoted about $9k from Saul s for a new motor when both other places did the review for just a dx review. Wish I could get my $$ back and don t go here

Saul s evaluated our car for a possible engine leak per the place we took it for an oil change. They found the leak which wasn t serious (thankfully) and brought up some other items that needed to be addressed soon. Will definitely come here in the future

**update - Owner replied stating that they refunded the card. This was paid in cash, so no refund was received. ** I would post zero stars if I could. This company took advantage of my teenage daughter by charging her $200+ just to look at a minor alignment issue. I will never take a car to them ever.

Saul's team went above and beyond! I personally requested to get a link to leave them a review because they not only took care of my car, but provided fantastic customer service to a very cautious customer--aka me. As a female customer, I tend to be very cautious when finding a new auto repairs shop as, unfortunately, female customers of anything related to cars tend to be considered easy targets for misleading sales. In turn, once I find an auto shop that I trust, I tend to stick with them. Unfortunately, I just moved to the area and therefore needed to find a new auto shop close by. In addition, I needed to find an auto shop that was open on a Sunday due to how imperative the my car's brake/rotor issue was--and Saul's was one of the few open on a Sunday.I tend to be very shrewd when I vet a new mechanic. And Saul's team passed a very difficult test with flying colors. LOL. I always come into auto shops already very well researched about the suspected car issue so I can get a sense of the level of transparency of the business. They knew I was nervous and so Bob offered to do a complimentary diagnostic test drive with me. When they quoted me the prices, they did not pressure me into buying anything and gave me a chance to look at what a typical repair cost. In fact, they ended up being a little cheaper than my last mechanic for the same repair. Audrey was so patient with me as I went back and forth on what repairs I could afford at the time. She even intercepted the mechanic in the middle of a repair to cancel a job! And I even met Saul, the CEO. He was very unassuming as he was working hard on the floor with the rest of his team. I wouldn't have guessed he was the CEO if I hadn't seen a picture of him in a newspaper clipping hanging on the wall detailing the high praise his business has received over the years. I admire that level of humility from a business owner. Being a part of the process that one's employees engage in regularly grounds someone to truly understand what their employees need and therefore are more likely to treat them with mutual respect and dignity. And that's a company value I believe in and want to support.Again, thank you to Saul's team for such quality service! It's nice to find a new auto shop that is dependable, trustworthy, and so human on the first try. I'll definitely be back!Service: Auto brake replacement

I DO NOT recommend Sauls Autotek. After what I was told was going to be $2000, I ended up taking my vehicle back twice, spent over $5000 and they STILL did not fix the issue. Their work and ability to diagnose is questionable and inconsistent and they charge significantly higher than average prices for parts and labor.I brought in my Ram Promaster for a "memory steering" problem. Saul s diagnosed the Control Arms and CV Axles and quoted $2000. AFTER starting the labor, they couldn t find the CV axles anywhere and said they could have them made for an extra $1000. An alignment was required after the parts were replaced. I get free alignments at Firestone so I took it there instead - Bob said he would do the same if he were me.The memory steering issue was not fixed so I took it back. Audrey mentioned that since I took the van elsewhere to get the alignment they may not be able to warranty their work. Bob had not mentioned this. After diagnosis they said the steering rack & pinion and outer tie rods needed to be replaced for $2000. They also said the front struts should be replaced for $2100 (not noted on 1st visit), though that wasn't contributing to the memory steering. I decided to replace the rack to fix the memory steering and take it back to Firestone for the 2nd alignment. Bob said No problem, I m not miffed by that , again not indicating there would be an issue. When I picked up the van from Sauls, the steering wheel was not centered and there were 2 new warning messages: Service Hill Holder and Service ESC system . Firestone also told me the tie rods desperately needed grease. It appears Sauls forgot to grease the new parts they put in. After the alignment the steering wheel was straightened and the warning lights went away, but it DID NOT fix the memory steering. At this point I went on a road trip, during which time the bolts holding the control arms loosened - Sauls didn't properly tighten the bolts when they replaced them.I took it back to Sauls after the trip. They said they need to replace the steering rack AGAIN because after replacing it the first time, the drive to Firestone may have damaged the steering rack. Bob did not warn me about this possibility. They said they will cover the parts under warranty, but charge $660 in labor, and do a free alignment. I said that is still unfair given nobody told me there could be damage caused by driving the vehicle before getting the alignment. They declined so I grudgingly agreed to pay the $660 (later I did negotiate that to $350).When I called to check the status 2 days later, I spoke with Saul (I think) who said, We have the van on the alignment rack and we ll have it ready and get you driving straight by tomorrow morning. He seemed confident the memory steering would be fixed. The next morning Bob called and said "Your van is ready but the memory steering is still not fixed. We need to replace the front struts. Previously, he said the front struts were NOT causing the issue. I wonder if they even needed to replace the steering rack the second time. I suspect they may have removed a perfectly good steering rack and charged me to do that unnecessary labor. At this point, I felt like I d been strung along for a few thousand dollars while they played whack-a-mole trying to solve a problem they clearly didn t know how to solve. I understand vehicles are complex and expensive but the insufficient communication about what needs to be done and the headache this has been for me is unacceptable. With the amount of money and time spent, it's not clear if they can or will fix the problem. As I drove away from Sauls the ESC light came on and the steering wheel is off center AGAIN, and there is a new worse problem - the van suddenly jerks randomly left or right, as if hit by a gust of wind. It started as a subtle sway, but has gotten worse and is now a major safety concern. I question whether Saul s did their alignment correctly, or installed the second rack correctly and I m worried that the van is in worse condition than when I brought it in.

I recently encountered an unexpected hiccup with my recently purchased used car, and I can't express enough gratitude for the exceptional service provided by Audrey at Saul s Autotek. Their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to customer satisfaction truly saved the day.Just 11 days after acquiring the vehicle, the dreaded check engine light blinked to life. Of course, I felt a mix of frustration and anxiety, fearing the worst. Upon visiting Saul s Autotek, I was immediately struck by their willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty. Unlike the dealer I initially dealt with, they didn't brush off my concerns or point fingers at me for causing supposed year-long damage in mere days. They not only inspected the engine but also ensured that I understood each aspect of the assessment. Their transparency and willingness to explain the issues with the vehicle set my mind at ease. They took the extra step of photographing the problematic areas and explaining in detail where the major issues were located. This level of attention and communication truly stood out. What impressed me most was their commitment to the truth. Rather than assuming the worst and assigning blame, Audrey genuinely took the time to analyze the situation objectively. They assured me that there was no plausible way the damage could have been inflicted within such a short span of time. This honesty and integrity spoke volumes about their business ethics and customer-centric approach. The speed at which they handled the situation was equally remarkable. Despite the complexity of the issue, Those at Saul s Autotek managed to provide a comprehensive evaluation and solution within a super short period. Their efficiency didn't come at the cost of quality; on the contrary, it showcased their competence and expertise in diagnosing and addressing automotive problems.I can confidently say that my experience with this auto shop has been phenomenal. In a time when auto-related headaches are all too common, finding a shop that values its customers and performs its services with excellence is a breath of fresh air. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and the peace of mind they've provided. If you're seeking an auto shop that goes above and beyond, prioritizes transparency, and delivers outstanding results in record time, Saul s Autotek is your friend. They've earned my trust, and I'll undoubtedly be returning for any future automotive needs. Kudos to the team for setting the bar high and exemplifying what true customer service entails.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Went in 7/24/19, just two weeks out of the hospital for brain surgery (softball-sized brain tumor, on all sorts of meds to keep the swelling down and prevent seizures) for a flat tire, so I told them to patch it. They ended up saying all of my tires needed to be replaced, had a bunch of things wrong that needed to be fixed immediately, and totaled $1900. I had been there two months prior and thought it was odd they missed it the first time. They ended up trying to sell me my own tires because they only had 6000 miles (1 year old) on them. Went back three times that day and they wouldn't resolve a simple patch job (What the Goodyear next door and the Midas today said was all I needed). The photos are of the day after, after they had "replaced them".They'll try to discredit me, but I was thanked many times for being understanding and reasonable. I did lose my temper, but it was a combination of the very serious medication I was on (Keppra, if you want to know), and dealing with their incompetence and lies when I visited five times over two days. I'm normally a very friendly and reasonable person but they managed to drive me over the edge. Brain surgery is a hell of a thing.I also have proof that the tires they sold me were my own tires: receipts of the transaction, the "refund" they gave me, and a guy at Goodyear across the street saying that while every tire had some wear (which new tires should not have) he wouldn't reccomend any new tires. I can post those too if it would help. These people are manipulative, they're liars, and they'll quote you one price and hand you another price that's $800 more when you go to pay. Avoid this place at all costs. They prey on people who don't know cars and do awful work. Go anywhere else (especially the Goodyear just across the street). I hope this review helps others like me who are trusting, good people. Good luck out there!

Danny was fake and rude. Came off really nice. But was lied to. And taken advantage of. Wanted to charge me close to 1000 dollars to diagnose pretty simple issues with my Audi A8. Took 2 days and they Said I have 17 error codes and I was going to take hours and hours to diagnose each one. Then after a day they said they couldn't scan the car or diagnose it and it wad going to be 600 dollars. 600 for nothing. I got a scan tool. Cleared the codes myself and drove it 100 miles and guess what all the codes and issues went away. The battery just got disconnected and the car needed to reset and relearn. So I fixed it and saved myself thousands. This place is not a trust worthy shop. Also scratched my Fender and didn't put covers back in correctly

I would definitely recommend Saul and his team of mechanics. He helped us avoid purchasing a lemon which had a considerable amount of damage. Thanks to Saul we were able to get out of that vehicle and into something much safer. No job seems to be too big or too small for his team. It's comforting knowing there are people like Saul on your side.
