Well, I tried pretty hard to give them business but haven't been successful so I unfortunately have no choice but to leave one star. I wanted a mirror replaced on my car urgently because I had to go out of town. The guy I spoke with said no problem and he'd call me back in 30-45 min.Three hours later I called him back and was told he knew exactly what was needed and would call me back in just a few minutes. It's now been 1.5 weeks and I haven't heard anything at all from them. Seems my experience was unique based on the reviews here but such is life.

Absolutely amazing team and shop! Rob is very honest about how he goes about things. Had my 4runner in for routine oil change and they do a full inspection with pictures to let you know what they see. My 2004 4runner had no issues except to replace air filter and they let me know my front brakes were low. I told him I will change the air filter myself and I will schedule to get my brakes done soon. Rob didn't try to sell me anything extra and completed the oil change. Done in about and hour and half. Over the years I have learn to wrench my own vehicles because of bad experiences with mechanics. This time around I saw myself doubting myself as this was my first time with a midengine German car. I decided to take it to a shop and boy was I in for a treat. Not only they fixed the car, I got text messages with photos, diagnostics, recommendations and even urgency on them. When I initially called I thought the quote was a bit on the high side but I must say after the service I received and the way I was treated by everyone there I can see the price not only justified but actually on the low end based on what I got. I am 100% down right thrilled with my experience. I actually regret that I couldn't pick the car up when they were open because I would've love to be able to talk to them more about the car and about my experienceServices: Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

Typically car service businesses never are on time with the work as they say. German Imports was very prompt with replacing a battery, within the time frame they gave me. They were very good at practicing sanitizing and social distancing so I felt perfectly safe doing business there. They are professional, fair, and friendly.

Original owner, Chris retired in 2019. He sold the business. I have not visited the new owners, so I have no opinion.But we trusted Chris to service all our family vehicles for almost ten years. His prices were very reasonable and no charge if the trouble was an easy fix. Almost ten years and eight cars, domestic as well as foreign, repairs with the highest regard for customer satisfaction. New owners sure have a big shadow to live up to...!

I have greatly appreciated the service I have received here. Robert and team communicate well and even provide a thorough inspection report with pictures and notes. They will also recommend a different shop if they believe it would meet your needs. You can tell they care about cars which is what matters most to me. I can not recommend Japanese (and next door German, they re conjoined) Car Care enough. I had an awful experience with another shop and needed to get a second opinion on some major work. Al and his team are such honest people, and did everything they could to make sure I wasn t overpaying for services or getting services I didn t need. They asked about my car s history and previous jobs done on her and made sure to explain exactly what they saw and how they know it s time for a replacement. They did her shocks, struts, serpentine belt, transmission fluid, and a few other fluids for an honest price in just a 24 hour period.In addition, they partner with TechNet, so all work on the car has a 24 month/24K mike warrantee, in addition to roadside assistance and tire care. I ll definitely be returning!

My wife and I have been taking our Toyota vehicles here for ten years, a Solara and Tacoma.Chris has always been entirely honest and his prices are more than fair.What's more, he's an old school master mechanic who generally has a good idea of what's going on without charging repeated 'diagnostic fees' and the other annoyances and markups of chain shops and dealers.If you're looking for peace of mind, expertise and honesty, talk to Chris. He's never let us down.

We have had Chris service our Honda's for the last few years. Owning 4 different Honda's finding a honest, fair, reputable repair shop was important. We have found that very shop with Chris and the crew at Japanese Car Care. They strive to satisfy the customer and their pricing is very fair. If you are looking for a great repair shop I absolutely recommend Japanese Car Care.

Megan (I hope that s how she spells it) is absolutely incredible. She was so patient and flexible with me, especially since I m horrible at answering my phone, and every time we talked she was so upbeat and happy to help! I loved how caring and flexible she was to get my car fixed! VERY honest mechanic. Chris is the type of mechanic that isn't going to replace something that doesn't need it and isn't going to try to sell you on things that aren't important. They're quick, polite, direct and prices are great. But most of all the work is done honestly and correctly. I trust them with both of my cars.

Chris has serviced our vehicles for over 10 years now. 99 Dodge Stratus, 93 Ford Tempo, 01 Toyota Sienna, 06 Chrysler Town & Country, and a 89 GMC Jimmy have been kept running over the years because of Chris' expertise. He is reasonable and fair in his charges, and trustworthy in his assessments. When he believed a repair was going to cost more than the vehicle was worth, he even advised that we should NOT move forward with repairs. GOOD GUY!!!

Does not give quotes at the beginning of service. You go in blind and have to pay what they decide to charge you at the end. I was told $530 out the door for an cv axle replacement on the phone but was charged $620 in the end. It was my fault for not writing down what the receptionist told me on the phone and not requesting a detailed quote before service, but this shows lack of professionalism and communication on their part.I would have been ok with the final price if it was clearly communicated rather than being told another price on the phone. There was also no other issues that could ve added to the cost.As for the service, they got me in early with a booked schedule, gave a detailed diagnosis, and installed an axle in one day.Lack of communication when it comes to cost, but acceptable services.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

Great shop with no bs. Rob was super professional and helpful over the phone in person. He got one of my vehicles in and fixed quickly while providing a quote for my other vehicle. He juggles all of it seamlessly and provides great customer service.

The people at the shop are kind, courteous, and most of all, honest. I saved a ton of money on the maintenence items vs. what the dealership quoted. They finished my vehicle on time. I had my son's 2014 VW Passat towed to German Imports and they were great to accommodate the car while we sorted out a couple of insurance issues. They were honest in their assessment and friendly to work with - they can look forward to return visits to maintain this vehicle. Thank you!

We have used Chris for well over ten years. He has always been honest and reliable. I have referred several people to him over the years and they have all been very pleased. Very reasonable and excellent quality repairs.

Had Chris replace my breaks for me, calipers were almost rusted shut. He had a parts store on the phone and had them deliver the calipers to his shop within minutes, not once, but twice! I paid the parts shop directly and his prices for labor were very reasonable. Great service!

The service was prompt, everything was done via text, so i have updates as to how the service was progressing and what was found exactly. The final price was as stated and the bill pay was online. I went through the ATM for the first time in eons, rolled down my window, and could not roll it back up. It made a grinding noise that I knew was not good. I called JCCC, and though they were really booked, they squeezed me in. They finished the job the same day for me and fully explained the problem and costs. It is hard to find an honest mechanic. I have compared estimates many times and always found JCCC to be honest and reliable.Service: Electrical repair

Friendly and super knowledgeable. They identified the issue and permanently fixed a brake light that mysteriously went out multiple times, that was fixed elsewhere only to go out again a few days later. I m relieved I found these guys, they definitely know cars.
