We knew our transmission was going out but didn t know where to take it. Budget was recommended and we were very impressed. They were honest with what pricing was going to be. We appreciated them explaining the pricing and didn t pressure us at all even offering to let us see parts.

The owner of this place, Gary is VERY rude and unprofessional. Don't come here unless you want to get verbally abused and insulted about your car. This place needs to be shut down because of how Gary treats people. Wish there was an option for zero stars. It's okay Mr Gary because karma doesn't miss anyone

Gary and his crew are awesome! The service is thorough and quick. Best of all the pricing is fair and I fully trust that my vehicle will leave in tip-top shape! I visited Budget Transmission because I felt jerking when I drive and hesitation. They offered a free diagnoses and said they would work with my extended warranty. From the beginning I could sense Gary didn t want to deal with me because I had an extended warranty, he came up with excuse after excuse as to why they may reject the claim. A day later he called and said yes my transmission was damaged beyond repair and needed a new transmission and that the warranty company rejected the claim and was told to have me take the car to the dealer. I asked Gary for his diagnosis paperwork so I can see what he found, he refused stating he doesn t give that information, to just take his word for it. So I went to the dealer and they called the warranty company who stated they never got a claim request from Budget Transmission, also the dealer said my transmission was never opened so an inspection could be done to come to that conclusion. Fast forward a day after extensive research into my transmission and what the issue was, it turns out my transmission was just fine and Budget Transmission just want me to pay $6,625 for a service I didn t need. The actual problem was by ABS System and my braking system. I do not recommend this company and will never take any of my cars to them ever again and I caution others against them also.

Gary is an honest guy. I brought in my car to him for a second opinion after Mile High Honda (scammers) told me I need transmission service and they told me I have a leak that would cost me $200 just to diagnose. Gary let me know that the transmission fluid is fine and the leak looks like a combo of a sloppy oil change (done my mile high) and regular road dirt. Gary from budget trans didnt charge me a dime for his work. I trust this company.

Gary and Budget Transmissions goes ABOVE AND BEYOND for their customers. I see a couple of 1 Star Reviews, and I would completely disregard those reviews. Budget Transmissions and Gary replaced my daughters transmission in August of 2021 and it went out again in September of 2022. Nissan denied the claim, but Gary went to bat for me and I could NOT be happier with his service. He was always polite, always kept me in the loop and EXTREMELY professional. I am in the service business myself, so I understand there are many times things out of your control, but don't hold Gary responsible for what is not in his control!!! I m not gonna say budget but let me tell you this guy is legit. At the end of the day he did what needed to be done on my pickup. Great warranties as well

Recommended by 2 different auto maintenance shops for transmission repair. One shop owned by a good friend has sent me to budget transmission for two different vehicles I've owned. Bad luck for me, but very lucky to have these guys fix my bad luck.We have an older van with a cooling line leak, they were going to fix the problem but the transmission was showing signs of other issues. We decided to have them rebuild. The kit and parts took a little while because the vehicle age, but they rebuilt in good time and replaced the cooling lines. With a nation wide warranty I can not complain at all. Very honest team and straight to point, very helpful with great explanations and descriptions.Thank you Gary @BT! I didn't want to have transmission issues, but I'm glad you were there to fix them.

Gary is fantastic. He was able to get my vehicle in quickly and give a thorough diagnosis. I didn't like having to spend the money but, am happy to have complete confidence back in my vehicle. I have recommended this shop already to several people.

This business was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. I was referred here by a separate store for a transmission service. I called and was ready to make an appointment. The manager, Gary, was very rude and unprofessional. The first thing was that I asked if he knew anyone available on the weekends that he would recommend. He said that I could go to Aamco but that I would get raped . Then I called back to schedule. When I asked if there was anyway that he could help me with the prices because I am a teacher he said that he has no sympathy because he pays so much in taxes already. He then made the conversation very political. When I asked him to stop and that I was just trying to get a service done and not an opinion he argued with me and then told me to find somewhere else. He then hung up on me. Will not ever recommend to anyone. Stay away from this place.

I called the shop and spoke with Gary. I asked him if I brought in a transmission if they would install it. He then came back with the unprofessional comment "Do you bring your own eggs to Village Inn?" A simple yes or no would have been sufficient. Won't be taking any vehicles to this shop and wouldn't recommend it if this is the level of customer service they offer.

Gary is the best! Bought a used car for my son and got a warranty. Transmission went out and Gary bailed us out. Prices were better than anyone and service was superb. He even took the time to write a statement as I dealt with the warranty company.

Budget was recommended to me by a Denver Diff and gear shop. I ll start by saying I am an ASE Master certified truck technician but I don t feel comfortable with automatic transmissions. Any good tech has his/her limitations. I took my Dodge 2500 Diesel in for a fluid filter change, transmission inspection, and a small leak near/around the pan.Gary serviced the transmission, filter and gave me extremely fair advice on the state of my transmission. He could have tried to upsell me into a rebuild and it would have been fairly easy since these Dodge 48RE transmissions are a weak point. What he did tell me was it was in fair condition for a 172k mile truck. He advised me to run it till it dies, or until I feel I want to plan a rebuild. He also quoted me an extremely fair (not cheap) price for a quality rebuild that a couple other shops wanted 1500-2500 more for a similar rebuild.I research everything, and after he gave me a starting point on the kit/parts he would use for a rebuild, specific to the application my truck is used for, I only have one or two questions left when the time comes.The trans pan continued to leak after the service was done, I called Gary, dropped it off once again, and again they were extremely fair and apologetic about the fix. Bottom line? This shop is legit, trustworthy and very professional. I ve been in truck repair for 25 years and have a good nose for scammers. Budget Transmission is NOT one of those shops. I ll be back fellas.UPDATE!!I took my truck back to Gary at precision last summer for a planned 48RE rebuild. I had him upgrade some parts to handle my 34 foot toy hauler. He completed the work In 4 days. I took the truck literally the day after completion on 3,300 mile road trip pulling a 10,000 RV trailer to Montana and back. ZERO ISSUES. I d say that s the best review and reference a person can give these guys. Awesome shop.

I dropped my car off after hours, despite how busy they were and how much of a nightmare of a problem my car ended up being, Gary and the crew were kind professional, and frankly cleaned up the problems and issues from previous mechanics work. The absolute best mechanic of any kind I have encountered. He also offers cash discount.

Gary is an honest guy. This is priceless in an industry that is full of dishonest mechanics looking to make an extra buck off people's ignorance. Not Gary at Budget. He looked at my car and advised me on what to do with our transmission issue. We decided it was best not to fix the issue and look to another car instead. He didn't have to advise this. He could have pushed me to get the work done. Gary was recommended to me by another honest mechanic I know, and I will always refer business to him. He's solid and Budget is a place you can trust for sure.

I had my PT cruiser towed to Budget Transmission because of what I thought was some sort of transmission issue. I was pretty much expecting to be told that I need a full rebuild... But they the were able to correctly diagnose the issue, which in fact WASN T a transmission issue, but a TIPM issue. And once that was diagnosed, they had my car back on the road quickly and for a reasonable price. Gary kept me well-informed every step of the way. It has been almost a month, and my car is still doing great! I highly recommend this business. They definitely seem to be fair, honest and experienced.

I called to get a quote and see if they would work on my car, however they used expletives when I asked questions I would never do business with such unfriendly people. Wow no I did not want a Qoute I asked your address. I have the recording if you want it, however you assume what I wanted just like your rude post. In your post you helped prove my point. Why would I take a car to a rude person who uses expletives. I will call you out and would like the recording. Do you lie, since I don t who is the person I can send the call of you or your associate using f bombs if you care, which I am sure you don t.

I brought my van in to have a minor issue looked at and they found a major issue (and I knew they weren't scamming me). They were so honest, friendly and professional about it. They didn't try to upsell me, just gave me a quote on the repair, which another mechanic told me was very reasonable. They even finished the repair by the end of the day. I hope another need doesn't arise, but if it does I will be back.

These guys are great, I brought in my Cadillac for a fluid exchange and they did exactly what they said and gave me more Knoledge,. Great place! Honest Gary was so nice and professional to deal with.Took my 1972 Chevy in because I thought my teenage son might have made a mistake changing fluid ,But it was fine and another place might have ripped me off,not know anything about transmissions. But Gary and his crew did the right thing.Thank you so much!! I will be sending more people your way!

I would recommend this place to everyone I know with transmission problems. I was able to get a quote, work done and on my way within 24hours. I felt like Gary was very honest and didn t want to nickle and dime me for unnecessary things. Great customer service, too.

I hold this business/gary in very high regard. The process was very clear and communication was amazing. It was a little further of a drive to use, but definitely worth it.
