Big Nick's did a thorough inspection on my vehicle, which included multiple tests of my transmission throughout the day to try and diagnose a potential leak.In the end, they discovered no leaks and quoted me for a different repair that they ultimately completed for less than they originally quoted, and well below their competitors had quoted me for the same job.I felt very appreciated as a customer and plan to use Big Nick's for all my car service needs in the future. Integrity and customer service at that shop is top notch.

After Les Schwab Tires decided that 2.5 hours was needed for an oil change and tire rotation and Grease Monkey installed the wrong oil filter and blew up my Mazda I decided I would not use either company again. Luckily my friend told me about Big Nick's Auto, such a great thing too. Big Nick's Auto has been honest and fair. Their prices are competitive and in many cases less expensive than any other shop I've found. They are friendly and highly knowledgeable. The professionalism is exceptional. I'm happy knowing that I have a mechanic that I can trust.

This is the most honest and hard working auto shop I have ever been to. I went to Les Schwab to get my tires rotated and had them check over my car after a family member did the brakes. They looked at my car for 10-15 minutes and came back and told me I would need to replace both brake calipers with OEM parts because the rear passenger side was leaking. They told me that I would have to replace both sides even if the other side was fine. I felt like something wasn't right so I took it to Big Nicks Auto for their expert opinion. I got setup with an appointment and they advised me that absolutely nothing was wrong. Thank you so much for your honesty as someone else in my situation who may not have questioned this would have been out $1300 for no reason. Aside from the honesty the communication is amazing. I got a call 1 hour after dropping my vehicle off and felt all questions I had were met with professional feedback. Aside from my personal experience, my husband had a great experience with Nicks Auto a few months ago. The starter went on his vehicle and they repaired it and had it back to him same day with very very fair prices for the repair. I love how they do a full inspection and send you a report so you know the status of all aspects of your vehicle for a piece of mind. I am so appreciative and thankful for this auto shop and everyone that works there. I have recommended all family and friends to go there for any vehicle needs. Big Nicks Auto, THANK YOU!!!

This was my first time working with Nick and his team. He is professional, listens to his customers, and is very quick to meet your mechanical needs. He fixed up my Subaru Outback control arm and tire hubs and we will now be taking all of our cars here going forward. I highly recommend seeing Nick.

I came into town after driving1500 miles needing help. My 2500 diesel needed fuel filters changed. After calling around to 5 different places they were the least expensive and used mopar parts. Some places wanted $705 for the job they did for $385. I got to talk to Nick and he shared some important information I needed to know about my truck. I feel like he did a good job at a good price. I will have my kids take there cars there. Thanks

I dropped in to Big Nicks on Friday before Christmas to ask about a mysterious flashing red light underneath my steering column. I was describing this to the girl at front desk, his beautiful wife, my concern. Before I even finished my question, Nick asked for the keys and did a check for me. He went into detail and discovered the problem without hesitation. I was so happy to see a business that wasn't gauging me with a price to start looking. He even topped off my tires and didn't ask for a thing. He and his wife deserve a HUGE thank you for service he didn't have to do.What a nice change for once! Merry Christmas to yall!

Nick and his crew were personable and professional. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and did a whole inspection on my truck. Fixed the problem very quick and I was out the door with no headache or hassle. Well absolutely use their service again! Yesterday, I dropped my Fiat 500X off at Big Nick's to diagnose a rattling noise under the front of the vehicle every time it hit a bump in the road. I expected to pay thousands for this repair. Instead, I walked out with new sway bar links and a bill of $266.85. I couldn't believe it. Such a low price and a great value.The price was more than fair and there was no evidence that the price for parts had been unfairly marked up or the labor rates unreasonable.I will be back again. This is a great group of people with fair and honest pricing. That is exactly what I need from an auto shop.And, get this. I was so impressed that I wanted to tip them $200, but they said they could not accept tips. They simply requested that I refer new customers to them. Fair enough. First review I've ever written: I'll never go back because Big Nick lost his mind on the phone and told me to never come back. The owner (Big Nick) approached me while I was towing an '85 Fiero and he offered to fix the car that day. I accepted his offer. This was on a Friday and I picked it up Monday after they closed (no big deal he had it over the weekend, I didn't need it). However, after picking it up I had some questions and a couple of concerns so I tried to get a hold of him for 3 days. He never returned my call. The nice lady in the office apologized multiple times for him. When I did get a hold of him he started yelling at me over the phone. I asked about the extra gaskets in my trunk and I wanted to let him know my hood wasn't closed, the vents were not put back on the engine compartment, and there were still rags on top of the engine. I didn't ask for anything or even raise my voice. He literally yelled at me and told me that he did me a favor by working on the car and told me to never come back again and hung up. If Big Nick, the hot head, ever says he'll do you a favor.... JUST SAY NO!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Big Nick's Auto is the best mechanic and garage experience in Colorado! Their shop is a family experience, husband and wife team (with a wonderful dog) and workers who are professional and friendly. Big Nick is the most honest mechanic I have come across and they will update you on details and give prompt service. I trust them with everything!

Dropped my Excursion off for AC work and had asked to look the truck over. I new the front end has a Knocking noise. They discovered the front end needed some work and it wasn t safe to drive. After replacing the upper/lower ball joints, sway away bars etc it s fixed. Today when I picked it up Nick showed me a picture of the Drivers side U joint was so bad had it broke I d be spending a lot more plus the safety of the vehicle. Thanks to the Big Nick s team for getting me back on the road. 1st auto shop I ve found that hasn t tried to take me for a ride.

If you are female and/or identify as female and have the fear of being taken advantage of at an auto repair shop- look no further, Big Nick's Auto is for you!!!My husband is a shy introvert so it's always up to me to get household errands done. It's usually not an issue but when it comes to car repair, we've definitely been taken advantage of for thousands of dollars.However- Big Nicks is a breath of fresh air!!!1- Affordable! Our first issue we had with our car, we had 3 quotes. Big Nicks was the best2- Quality! Every problem we've had with our cars has never come back after Big Nicks has fixed it (I can not say the same for other local auto repair shops)3- Jamie! The person who runs the front desk is so sociable and fun! You'll get your car fixed and think to yourself, "How can I approach Jamie and ask if she wants to share a bottle of wine while we watch true crime documentaries and complain about life to each other?" Because she's just so easy going and fun even when she has bad news about your car.I will always and forever suggest Big Nick's Auto to anyone and everyone because it is the best auto repair shop.

We took our truck here to figure out the cause of a grinding sound in the front end. Big Nick's told us it was a bad front differential and that it would be $2000+ to fix it. We took it to Edge Automotive and they just said it needed calipers, shocks, and a couple other things. The noise went away after Edge looked at it. Point is, we couldv'e spent $2000 for a part it didn't need, or we could have gone to a real 4x4 shop (which we did) to find out it didn't need it at all.

WOW, Nick and Jamie are amazing!!! I have gone to them with all of my cars and diesel trucks. They have always been upfront and honest with my repairs. My daughters Jeep had electrical problems, and they fixed it and over quoted me, so I payed less than the original quote. Have taken both of my diesel trucks to them and they have maintained them and fixed everything I needed at reasonable prices. They are at the top of my list for repairs and maintenance for all my cars and trucks. My father has been a mechanic for over 40 years and lives out of state. He has told me that Nick knows what he is doing and had approved of all of my repairs. Please support them as they have had a recent break in. They are awesome business owners as well as just genuine decent people. Their guard dog doesn't help much as he just wants you to pet him, so be nice to the dog.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

These guys are awesome!!! Only to be outdone by Kaos. Kaos is the shop dog, you gotta meet him. If you want your vehicle repaired correctly, go to these guys. Jami & Nick are great to deal with.Took my truck to them needing to have a new engine put in. For those who know me, I'm very picky about my truck and customer service. So I read some reviews, read how they handled the bad ones (btw the customer is NOT always right), called and asked some questions and I was sold on Big Nick's Auto before I ever walked in the door the first time.I've rebuilt a number of cars and engines in my day, but did not have time due to my work schedule to fix my truck. So I handed it off to them and they took amazing care of it. They under promised and over delivered which is amazing in my book. Even when I became an annoyance asking questions about the repair, Nick was ever so gracious to answer all of them.Nick knows his stuff and I am happy to know I now have a place to go when I just need it done without me doing it. If their knowledge, expertise and professionalism won't satisfy you, you won't be satisfied with anyone.Service: Engine repair

Nick and Jamie are by far the most honest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. They took extreme care of my truck as if it were their own. They replaced many, many, wore out parts on my truck. I went in looking for a peace of mind and I got that and then some. Had our car's alternator replaced here. Friendly service, repair was completed according to quoted time and cost. Big Nick's was very competitively priced compared to their competition....and we did get several quotes before landing here.

The owners Nick and his wife are amazing at what they do, they care about the quality of work, and their reputation, I have taken my vehicle there numerous times for service, they are always friendly and professional, They even did an engine swap on my H2 Hummer, and no issues got me back on the trails, Thanks for the great service.

I called Big Nick s Auto to see if they could fit me in to take a look at my wheels after I hit a curb. They were able to fit me in 2 hrs later. I got there for my appointment and they looked at my car asap and done in about 15 minutes. Not only were they fast but also told me I didn t damaged anything and just needed a wheel alignment. I was thinking it was going to be costly for a wheel/axle repair, which they could have easily said. No charge for looking at my car. I asked if they could do the alignment but they said they don t offer that service and pointed me to the tire place next door. If you want a quick and honest auto repair shop, this is the place.

Told me I needed thousand s of dollars worth of repairs, went to two other shops who said my car was fine. Also gave my email address to Car Fax. Now I get ad emails. Maybe my experience was a one-off but I won t go back.

Let me start off by saying I admit I am a high maintenance customer. I brought my BMW to Big Nick s Auto with some weird symptoms (engine fan kept going on and off) that ended up being the water pump and thermostat. Nick and Jamie not only were patient with me by answering all my questions, but were extremely fair with the price considering all the time Nick and his team had to spend on my vehicle. Nick went out of his way to save me money by finding a part that was affordable (had to call several parts dealers), and took the extra time to get the job done right. Nick and Jamie are honest business owners and Nick is the only mechanic I trust. This is not the only vehicle I have had repairs on and Nick consistently goes out of his way to do what s best for the vehicle and his customers by only replacing the parts that are absolutely necessary saving us money. Not everything went perfect but in the end I was completely satisfied. I highly recommend Big Nick s Auto to all of my friends and family! If you are looking for an honest mechanic that has fair prices then go to Big Nick s and have the piece of mind to have your car, truck or suv fixed right! They even gave me a military discount. Thanks Nick and Jamie for everything you did for me.
